Me: First things first, Sorry I didn't update in forever. But at least this one got updated sort of recently… *cough* even if it was months ago. Second, I know this style of Author note is kind of outdated and a little ridiculous, but I like it.
Maka: Plus, it lets her briefly interact with characters.
Me: Third, I will try to update more, but it's all dependent on my writing inspiration. So here's a thought, suggest plot twist or possible things that could happen in the story in the reviews. I also love including OC's, and until I get some from you guys I may use OC's from different animes (changes a bit to fit the setting) as clients.
Maka: We hope you enjoy.
Haruhi: And we'll try to add in more Host club.
A dark room of the Broadcasting club, a new threat loomed. Brown hair, and grey eye's stared into a crowd of scared kishens.
"What do we do now?"
"I don't know…"
"This was your idea!"
"When Akuma and Mitsume were alive to back me up." The girl sighed worriedly. "We could always make a new one of you the lead kishen… but we don't have any good partners."
"You're the witch, why don't you take front line this time?!"
"I guess I could…" She swung her legs. "If I fail I get to join Mitsume in death…"
"So what's the plan, Yamiko?"
"I want Aoko to be the main hunter." A girl with Blue hair and eye's looked up from behind her round glasses. "Aoko your job is to handle that Soul boy; I'd start with that girl he likes… She killed Akuma… And while he was searching for her Soul killed Mitsume… So she's the perfect way to get our revenge."
-look a time skip-
"I didn't really expect a girl like you to request me." Soul stared at Aoko.
"…Me neither… I actually wanted to asked you about something."
"Sure go ahead."
"Uh… How do you… How do you feel about Maka?"
"We're pretty good friends."
"But… I know you aren't dating but do you have feelings for her?" Soul went silent.
"Why does that matter?"
"Because I find her cute." Aoko said bluntly. "I want to know if you do or don't have feelings for her."
"If you like girls why did you request a host?" Soul tried changing the subject.
"Oh I like guys too, you're not my type, but I like both genders. Anyways, Maka is my type. If you like her, I'll give you a week to act on it. If you don't then I'm going to ask her on a date."
"I'm pretty sure Maka is only into dudes."
"Are you sure, I think I overheard her saying men are all pigs." Aoko glanced over to Yamiko who was chatting with Haruhi. She blushed before continuing. "She seems like she'd be more into women than men. Besides if I do ask her out, she'll have a study buddy."
"It's time for my next client." Soul gritted.
"You have till the end of the week then." Aoko said nervously before leaving. Soul sighed and watched Yamiko switch with Maka.
"Hey Maka, how's it going?" Haruhi asked.
"Good, you? Soul told me he saw you were hurt yesterday." Maka replied. Haruhi became nervous.
"What did he say?"
"He referred to you as a girl, but that'll stay between the three of us." Haruhi sighed with relief.
"Thanks."
"However you have to keep it a secret that Soul was the last person to see Mitsume."
"Sure but why?"
"I'm sure you've heard of the DWMA."
"Yeah, not much, it's a school in America for special students."
"Research it more tonight, my friends and I are from there, you'll understand why we're here and what happened to Mitsume, and why she attacked you."
"Alright…" Haruhi said confused.
"If you notice anything weird like what happened when Mitsume and Akuma attended school happen again, let me or Soul know."
"… So you know what happened to those missing students?"
"It's not something you'd want to know." With that Maka swiftly left, leaving Haruhi a bit frightened.
-time skip-
Haruhi stopped Soul on his way out of the school.
"Hey Soul, thanks for the other day."
"Eh? No problem. And your secrets safe with me. I won't tell the other club members." Haruhi laughed at Souls remark.
"Actually they're the only other people who know. Did no one tell you how I ended up a host?"
"No, but this sounds like it'll be a good story." Haruhi explained why she was working at the host club and why very few people knew about her true gender. "Wow… I hate to say it, and it could just be because I am best friends with Maka, who's a flat-board. But I kind of had a feeling from the beginning you weren't male."
"What gave it away?"
"Tamaki." This was followed by silence, which Soul had to break. "The guys not exactly subtle with his feeling's for you when clients aren't around. And It doesn't seem like he swings both ways."
"Yeah, the club was still getting used to having someone who didn't know the secret always around during our free time. Probably didn't help Honey and the twins kept slipping up."
"Nope. They didn't cover it up to well either."
"Haruhi, Soul, stop joking around, we have work to do." Tamaki noticed Soul treating Haruhi different. "And it's manly work. You'll be doing most of it Haruhi."
"Tamaki-sempai. It's ok. Soul knows and he's not gonna tell anyone." Haruhi clarified.
The host club meeting continued as usual.
Me: Now that wasn't so bad.
Soul: You didn't update for years and then you did and waited months to update.
Me:... Aoko isn't even meant for this fanfic, or either of these fandoms, but you can bet your bottom right now I like her better with Maka than with you.
Aoko: My personality has been changed drastically for the sake of this crossover fic.
Me: Sorry for not updating in awhile once again...
