So, I hope you like the last chapter I uploaded. I was immediately ready to do the next one, so here it is. Enjoy

Paris, France. Lok and the Huntik team have found Joan of Arc's hiding place and follow her notes in order to find the powerful ring of the arc. The Professor, evil leader of the Organization, is determined to capture Lok and obtain the ring. He is on their trail thanks to Defoe, his henchman. A race against the clock to find the ring starts. The Huntik team wins, but find out that the ring is cursed, and the Organization is getting closer and closer. Will the Huntik team find a way move the ring or will the Organization find them and capture Lok and the ring?

Back in the Paris catacombs, we find Lok lift a stone slab from the ground.

"I think there's another exit back here." He said, as he moved the stone. Cherit sighed in relief.

"We don't need this one" Zhalia remarked and headed towards the door leading into the room they were in.

"What are you going to do?"

Zhalia answered that by using the Touchram spell on the ceiling above the door. This caused large rocks to avalanche in front of the door. Cherit closed his ears from the crashing sound of rocks. Dante then walked in, holding an unconscious Sophie in his arms.

"Zhalia, grab the ring"

She caught the ring, and sparks began to fly from her palm as the curse began to work its way with her.

"Careful, that crazy ring will scramble your brains!" Lok warned

The ring's curse began to affect her, as she started yelping in pain. She then decided she had had enough.

"Headcage!"

A green spell encased her head, and she was finally able to put the ring on with ease. She gave a satisfied smile.

"Impressive. That's not a spell you see every day" Dante commented with smile "Everyone, out the back, quickly!"

The team ran through the back entrance of the room. Meanwhile, the suits were still searching for Dante and his team. They then came across the avalanche of rocks.

"How foolish. This won't even slow me down. Where are my earthbender?!"

"Here sir" two suits responded.

"Take care of this quickly!"

"Sir!"

The two suits then began earthbending with fast movements, stones flying this way and that. Finally, they reached the door on the other side.

"Now move out!"

The suits ran inside and began a quick search. A blond-haired girl suit called out "Sir, the Avatar is gone! So is the ring! And there is no sign of the Foundation either."

"How could Dante Vale have given us the slip?!" Defoe fumed

Back with the group, Sophie was beginning to wake up.

"Dante…we beat them…together" Sophie said groggily (Oh for the love of…Get over this silly crush of yours already! He's not going to go for you! You're practically a baby in his eyes!")

Her vision cleared to see Lok, not Dante standing in front of her. He had a smile on his face.

"Sophie, you're awake!"

"Of course I am!" she said, pushing him away (Hey show some respect, that's your future boyfriend right there!) "What's going on?!"

"We were just waiting on you, sleeping beauty" Zhalia remarked dryly.

"Welcome back lass, we're glad your finally awake!" Cherit spoke

"Is that the ring of arc?" Sophie asked, walking up to the floating ring "Something's wrong with it. I can feel it"

She lightly touched the ring, and it sent shockwaves through her.

"It's cursed!"

"We can't do anything with the ring like this. Know any good Casterwill spells Sophie?" Dante asked

"Yes. Well…I should say maybe. I've read all about it but, I've never seen a real curse before"

"Won't be your last" Dante smirked

"You'll be okay Sophie. You're like the homework master!" Lok smiled, putting a hand on her should, which she immediately shrugged off. (Lok, I love you so much. You are so nice to her even though she treats you like an annoyance. I would say you deserve better, but Sophie does change latter on, so I'm good with you two.)

Sophie allowed the power of the curse envelope her, which proceeded to show her bad visions, such as the fire of her family estate with a younger her calling for her parents, Zhalia and Dante beating her up, and Sabriel's sword breaking apart, leaving her defenseless. The pain of the curse caused her groan, but she could hear Lok. "Sophie, come back to us!" She finally frees herself from the curse and gains her composure.

"You can do it! Just keep it together!" Cherit cheered.

"Banebound!" she cried out

A large flash of light burst forth. The ring flew up and then the light shining from it disappeared, to which the ring dropped and landed on the stone alter

"It worked! Nice" Lok praised

"Yeah. But only for maybe 30 minutes. Then the curse will overpower my magic."

"That's 30 minutes more than we had." Dante said, then put a hand on her shoulder "Good work" to which smiled proudly at. (Ain't gonna happen girl)

Back with the Organization, Grier and sever suits run up to Defoe. Grier salutes him and gives his report.

"We were unable to find them."

"No matter. We know each and every exit of the catacombs. We'll catch them on the way out." Defoe dismisses Grier, which he salutes again and turns to the suits.

"You have your orders. Split up and cover the exits."

"Yes sir!"

The suits salute him and all split up, going through various pathways. Back with the Huntik team, Dante pulls out his holotome.

"Seekers, we have a mission" Dante says, opening the holotome. (Um, yeah. We kind of established that earlier Dante). A mission card appears as he says "Aptly named 'Joan of Arc's Ring'. Our objective, protect the ring of arc from the Organization and safely deliver it to a Huntik Foundation safe house."

Dante takes the mission card and then a hologram of the room they are in appears, showing four different pathways, as well as holograms of them.

"Notre Dame is a Huntik Foundation safe house, so they must have one, right?" Sophie questioned

"But look, I haven't seen so many bad suits since my TV got stuck on the news channel. We'll never get past them." Lok shook his head, looking at the holotome as red holograms of the Organization suits appeared in all pathways.

"True, but if we split up our chances increase and the holotome will help us avoid the suits." Dante eased him

"Take the path of least resistance. So, who takes the ring?"

"Lucky for you my disguise kit has a selection of rings" Zhalia spoke up, handing Dante 4 replica rings that looked exactly like Joan of Arc's ring. "I modified them with a spell. So now we have three fakes." (Notice that she said 3 fakes but handed him 4. When I first watched the show, I didn't understand why that was until later on in the episode. That was very clever of her. That's one reason I love Zhalia's character.)

"I get it. We'll all have one." Lok said as he and Sophie took a fake ring. "The Organization won't know who to go after."

"But if one of us gets captured, their magic can steal the info right from our heads." Sophie stated

"Exactly. No one will know who has the real ring except for me" Dante responded.

He walked over to one of the pathways, but then stopped and turned around. He looked Lok dead in the eye.

"You must be especially careful Lok. Even if we manage to find a way to get the ring out of here, that doesn't mean that the Organization won't just give up and go home. Remember, your capture is their top priority. Use everything available to you to avoid capture. That includes your bending, your titans, and your seeker powers. Got it?"

"Yeah, I got it."

"Cherit, watch his back" Dante called

"Aye"

With that, Dante turned and left. Zhalia then took her pathway, and the Sophie and then Lok and Cherit. We then go to see several suits walking through a corridor. One of the suits is quietly complaining.

"No Foundation operative would be stupid enough to come through here"

"I wouldn't be so sure" Another suit pointed to a doorway where Dante came walking through with Solwing on his shoulder.

"Dante Vale!" they gasped

"You Organization boys are locals, aren't you?" Dante smirked "Looks like Defoe's been recruiting."

"What's it matter?"

"I'm going to give you a chance to back out since you don't know what you're in for." Dante retorted, then put his hands in his pockets and continued to walk away. This shocked the suits.

"Ridiculous" one suit hissed "Jokoul!"

He pulled out an amulet and called forth his titan, which closely resembled an angry Viking ice troll. Another suit pulled out his titan, calling out "Redcap!", and the evil titan came forth. Solwing flew from Dante's arm and attacked a suit with his claws.

"Let's clean up this mess. Caliban!" Dante called out, and his warrior emerged.

"Get him!" the French suit commanded Jokoul.

Jokoul and Caliban engaged in battle, with Caliban punching him and sending him flying to the ground. Dante then began to take on the suits, while Caliban then sliced at Redcap, who came flying towards him. Redcap was sent back to his amulet as a suit then began to firebend at Dante, who quickly jumped back before the flames could touch him. Dante then earthbended several large stones towards the shocked suit. As Caliban was about to help his seeker, Jokoul launched a surprise attack from one of the graves by grabbing Caliban's legs and knocking him over. Just as he was about to attack him some more, Dante called Solwing, who flew straight into Jokoul and slammed him into the ground, sending him back to his amulet. Dante then kicked another suit into the wall who had charged toward him.

"Still want this?" Dante asked, holding out the ring.

"No, not really" the suit panicked.

"Then go! Tell all your friends I have it" Dante waved him away

"I can't let you escape!" the suit then quickly got up and firebended some more at Dante. "Our main mission is to capture the boy, and you know where he is!"

But before the flames can touch Dante, they were blocked by Caliban's sword. He grabbed the bender's arm and sent him to the ground. Suddenly, rocks encased the suits feet and hands.

"Oh that's right. You can also tell your buddies that the Avatar is in my custody, and you'll have to come through me to get him." Dante leaned over and smirked at him before walking away with his titans.

We then go to where Lok is, and find him in a small tunnel. "Cherit, through here" He says as he pushes the last bit of dirt and rocks out of the way. He leans over and sees a large chasm.

"I'm fair sure this isn't the route Dante plotted." Cherit comment, flying over the chasm.

"There's one way to find out."

Lok got out of the tunnel and airbended himself gently to the bottom of the chasm. He then began walking down a large tunnel.

"Look at this place. Nobody has been here in hundreds of years."

"You know, I'm supposedly here to watch your back and to keep you out of trouble, Lok" Cherit reminded him

"Stop worrying. You don't think Dante expected us to follow that route, do you?"

"Aye…you're probably right at that" Cherit replied a bit uneasily.

They continued down the tunnel, which then gets pitch dark. Lok calls for a Boltflare spell, which hovers above him as the continue. They walk up to a wall with several skeletons sitting against it and a sign with writing on it.

"What's all this?" Lok moved the Boltflare closer to the writing and read "'Liberty Equality Brotherhood' That sounds familiar. Maybe from the French Revolution?"

"Even I know that and I have no head for human history." Cherit replied, pointing to his head

Lok then sat next one of the skeletons that was dressed in a battle uniform. "I guess these guys came down here to hide during the revolution."

"What's on your mind Lok? Are you alright?" Cherit asked with concern

"It's hard to explain." He said, motioning the Boltflare into his hands "When I was real small, my dad would bring back all kinds of amazing things from his adventures. I tried to imagine all the incredible secret places where he would go to find them"

"Well, here you are" Cherit smirked

"Yeah, here I am." Lok sighed, and sent the Boltflare flying over to the other side of the room, where he saw another skeleton surround by books and other old things, which made him get up and walk over to it. "Hey Cherit, look at this!"

Cherit inspected the skeleton and said "This is no soldier", pointing to the different clothes.

Lok then began to look at the things that surrounded him. He saw a box that was filled with tools that he recognized.

"These are archeology tools. How well do you think these soldiers knew the catacombs?"

"Don't remember much about times then. Revolutions tend to blur together, you know?"

Lok bent over and tried to open a box, but no luck. "This is a great time to test out Springer!"

He pulled out the amulet and the foxlike titan came forth. He was facing away from Lok, so he had to get his attention by tapping his tail. The titan looked over and saw his task. It took him a minute, but he was finally able to open the lock, then went back to his amulet. Inside the box was books and maps of the catacombs.

"These soldiers were just normal people. They needed a guide to hide down here" Lok announced

"So this fellow is, I mean was, an archeologist." Cherit confirmed

Lok picked up a book, but started to cough as a big puff of dust filled clouded his mouth and nose. The book then disintegrated in his hands. Lok then saw a scroll.

"Wait, this one seems to be in pretty good shape." He said, and unfurled it to find a unique symbol scrawled on it. "Hey, I think I've seen this before"

"Tell me Lok, could it have been in your father's journal? Look."

"Yeah, maybe." He pulled out the journal and flipped to the page, then compared it to the scroll "A match. My dad had a copy of this picture. Must be important."

"Hey, there's light coming from over here!" A voice shouted from a doorway.

"Uh-oh" Lok quickly stashed away the journal and the scroll and ran out, while Cherit quickly put a bucket over the Boltflare before flying after him.

However, what they didn't know is that the suits had night vision visors, which allowed them to see what they thought was one of the Huntik members running away from them. They shot Augerfrost spells at the figure, which blew up. But then a skull rolled over to them. What they didn't know was that Lok was using his airbending to life the skeleton and make it move.

"It's just a skeleton." Just as she says this, another figure began running away. "There!"

The Redcap jumped and landed on the figure, only to find that it was another skeleton.

"He's just trying to distract us so he can scram."

Before the Redcap could return to its seeker, it was suddenly stabbed through the gut by Freelancer's giant lance.

"We're under attack!"

They began to shoot spells as Freelancer, but he blocked them with his giant shield. Lok then appeared from behind riding Kipperin. He used his staff to send a large gust of air, which knocked over one of the suits.

"Thought I was going to run?! No!" Lok smirked, and Kipperin flew him away as another spell was sent in his direction. He then tossed the fake ring into his other hand and pointed his thumb at himself. "I've got to defend myself and protect this from you losers"

"After him! We have to capture him and secure the ring! Remember your orders and use everything you've got!" one of the female suits cried out, who started shooting more spells at him.

The male suit began to firebend at him but missed. The other female suit who had been knocked over by Lok's airbending got up and started running towards him, but was blocked by Freelancer's lance. Yet, he was ambushed as Redcap snuck up and attack from behind. The women suits continued shooting spells and the male suit kept firebending at him, but then ran into the pile of stuff from earlier as Lok led them into it.

"These guys are a couple of letters short of a crossword" Lok smirked to Cherit.

"Lok, Freelancer's in trouble!" Cherit quickly pointed out as they saw Redcap holding Freelancer down on the ground.

"We can't beat that Redcap without him." Lok landed and sent Kippering back to his amulet. "But even if I get him off of Freelancer with my airbending, he'd be too weak to fight. Is there something we can do?"

"Well, I could try giving him an energy bath" Cherit offered "I could use it to charge him up some. Go ahead at airbend him off."

Lok nodded and swiped his staff through the air, sending the Redcap flying backwards. Cherit landed in front of Freelancer and sent a blast of energy into Freelancer. This revitalized Freelancer, but caused Cherit to fall over in exhaustion.

"I got you Cherit. Go Freelancer!"

Freelancer returned to his amulet, which made Lok say "Cool, let's get out of here!" and ran out with Cherit in his arms.

We go back to another group of organization suits. We see one suit with a red bob haircut looking around with her flashlight. While she is looking around, she is suddenly grabbed and pulled to the side before her men could see. She hears a shush from her captor. The sound gets the suits attention.

"There, did you hear something?"

"Where is our recruit? She…"

"It's all clear" the female suit spoke up.

However, before she could walk away, one of the men noticed something shiny on her finger.

"Hey wait a minute, is that the ring?" The French suit asked in confusion

"What? This old thing?" the female replied sweetly, holding up the hand with the fake ring

She then pulled off the red wig, revealing herself. It was Zhalia, her blue hair tumbling down to her shoulders. This set off alarms to the men as she smirked at them.

"She's with the Foundation! Get her!"

"Nice call boys, but you're too late" Zhalia gave them a thumbs-up and then took off

"After her!"

As they chased Zhalia, they didn't see Sophie who had hidden herself behind a wall as they came running past her.

"They're everywhere" Sophie turned and conjured up a Boltfare, but with some difficulty. "I'm still exhausted"

She walked weakly through the next corridor. She then came upon an earth ladder which she climbed up. She then came into a larger cavern.

"It looks like they've been here"

Suddenly the ground began to quake, and the ground from below her crumbled, sending her screaming into a large and deep pit. Back with Defoe and his men, we find them lined up.

"I don't believe it. You must think I'm some sort of gullible simpleton, don't you?!" He said with a stern face

"No sir"

"But you expect me to believe that all members of Dante Vale's team, including the Avatar himself, were spotted separately?"

"Yes sir"

"I see, and they all have the ring of arc?!" he growled, then grabbed a suit's tie "You fools, you were tricked! The escaped again! Your orders are to capture the Avatar, as well of the rest of that team!"

"Sir!"

"More tricks" Defoe fumed, but then had an idea "On second thought, Vale must have the ring. He wouldn't endanger the others. Send word to Grier"

"Sir!"

Back to Sophie, we find her hanging off a ledge in the pit with only one hand, her Boltflare floating above her. She tried to grab it with the other hand but couldn't.

"No good, too tired. I can't hold on." She panics as the brick on the ledge begins to loosen "Dante! Lok! Someone help!"

Not too far away, we see Lok and Cherit who her Sophie's cry.

"That's Sophie!" Lok said

"It came from down there!" Cherit pointed

"Let's go!"

As Sophie continued yelling, Organization suits who were nearby heard her voice echoing and looked towards the source.

"Who's there?!" Sophie called out

"Sophie?!" Lok called back from the top, looking at the deep pit. He laid his staff down next to him "Oh man"

"I can't use any of my spells! Hurry up and get me out of here! Ah!"

The ledge loosened too much and she started to fall.

"Sophie!"

Lok jumped down and caught her, pulling her up to him with one hand while the other hung onto the top of the pit.

"Are you trying to get yourself killed?!"

"Yeah…I mean no…I mean…what is this place?" Lok replied a bit embarrassed, then looked down into the pit.

"A burial pit. Anyone who couldn't afford a fancy funeral got tossed in here!"

"Well I don't want to end up like that! Hang on tight!" Lok replied

Sophie wrapped tighter around his neck and he used his free hand to bend the air really fast, lifting them gently onto the top of the pit. When they landed, they found themselves confronted by a bunch of suits. One of them had confiscated Lok's staff.

"Look, there's no escape. Just give yourselves up" one suit said to them.

"I guess I'm not the only one who heard you" Lok said

"You shouldn't have come at all" Sophie responded "My voice could have just been an Organization trap" (Your just mad Dante didn't rescue you and you don't want to say thanks to Lok. Man, you are such a priss sometimes.)

"I knew it was you"

"What makes you so sure?"

"Simple, you called for Dante to help, then me. Then anyone else, but never Zhalia" Lok smirked (See Sophie, that's how obvious you are)

"Stop stalling! Grab him!"

A suit went over and pulled Lok up by the arm.

"Now give us the ring of arc!"

"Is that all? Sure, here you go" Lok replied, throwing his ring to the head suit

"Here, take mine too." Sophie got up and handed hers to him as well, confusing them.

"These are fakes. You'd never give them over if they were real!"

"Oh, you're smart for us" Sophie smirked

"We anticipated this. Let's take them" One suit said

"Then we'll go after the others."

"Stand back, or you'll feel the fury of my wrath!" Sophie warned

"I think you mean my Avatar state. But she is a Casterwill after all, so either way, you'll get your butts handed to you" Lok smirked with a shrug.

"Look kid, even if you are the Avatar, you can't win against this many"

"Who said we were trying to defeat you" Sophie laughed

"All we got to do is keep you busy until Dante and Zhalia escape." Lok smirked

"What?!"

"It's safe to assume that your superiors will do something truly horrible to you if you let that happen"

"It might not be as bad as what we could do, but then again, I've heard the stories of things the Professor has done, so I might be wrong" Lok shrugged

The first suit sighed "Forget this. We have the Avatar, let's find Defoe and get out of here."

The suit grabbing Lok's arm began to drag him. However, he didn't notice as Lok quickly grabbed his staff from the other suit and used it to hit him. Now free from his grasp, Lok quickly sent a gust of air, pushing the suits back and away from him and Sophie. The suits, not ready to fight him, ran off. He and Cherit sighed in relief.

"We better rest here" Lok said, holding Sophie up

"No, we can't. We have to get back to Dante and Zhalia before they change their minds and come back for us."

"…You're right." Lok sighed "Alright, but let's be very careful."

"Right"

They began fast walking out of the room with the pit. Sophie then looked over to Lok, or rather his staff that he was carrying.

"Lok, why do you carry that thing with you?"

"Hm? Oh, this? Well, it's something we airbenders receive as we get older. It's kind of a tradition. We use them while training in airbending. When I mastered my training, father gave me this staff to use." Lok replied with a smile.

"I see. I've read about airbender gliders, but I've never seen one in real life."

"Well here" he said, popping it open "Take a look"

Sophie held the staff, examining the wings. She then asked, "Did your father have one as well?"

"Yeah. He always took it with him on his expeditions. When he…disappeared, he had his staff with him. My mom once told me she wished he had left it, because then she would have something that was close to him." He continued, taking the staff back and closing the wings

"I'm sorry" she replied sadly

"It's okay. Now let's hurry and find Dante and Zhalia."

We then go to Grier, who was alone in one of the chambers. We then hear a voice, shocking Grier.

"Grier, I've been looking forward to some quality time with you"

We see that it's Dante, who walks up to him. He smirks and flips his Caliban amulet in the air, then catches it and lays it on the back of his hand. He then calls forth his warrior titan, who lands in front of Grier, ready to attack.

"Assult, Breaker!"

Grier pulls out his amulet, which was shaped like a bear with a purple stone. Out came a four-armed, bear titan with large, bone hooks on his back and ancient tribal markings painted on him. He then went after Caliban, who punched at Breaker and sent him flying back. He then turned to Grier.

"Too slow. Redcap!"

The vicious titan came forth, jumping onto Caliban, sending them both flying to the ground. As Breaker got up, Dante pulls out another amulet.

"Let's even the odds. Freelancer!"

The knight titan came out and blocked Breaker's oncoming attack with his shield while Dante to the chance to punch at Grier. Grier punched back, only for Dante to jump over him and land on the other side.

"Grier, I get the feeling there's more to you." Dante said, holding up his hands in a taunt "Something that you're hiding from me"

"Says the man who is hiding something from everybody!" Grier retorted, charging after Dante with his fist glowing "Dragonfist!"

"Come and get me!"

Dante smirked and jumped away from Grier's powered fist, which hit the wall behind him and left a hole.

"Strong power" Dante said, hanging from the ceiling before jumping down in front of Breaker "Not bad for a bruiser."

Dante then slammed his fist to the ground, his earthbending trick making rocks fall from the ceiling onto Breaker.

"You're focused today" Dante noticed "Is it because we don't have an audience?"

He was then suddenly punched by Grier into the wall with a loud thud, the ring of arc flying from his jacket.

"I'm carrying out my orders" He says, picking up the ring "and nothing more"

"Well you got me"

Grier, suspicious of Dante's sudden surrender, took the ring to his mouth and bit one side of it. It chipped and broke off.

"Another fake. There's only one person left who could have the ring." Grier says, then takes off, leaving Dante behind, who smirks when the man disappears.

"Well now, I'd better catch up. Hopefully Zhalia has taken care of things." Dante says before taking off

We then find Zhalia who is flying down a staircase. She sees a light up ahead.

"There's an exit up there!"

"Not so fast Foundation scum, we know who you are" a suit called out, him and his partners blocking her way

"Oh I doubt that"

One suit shot a Raypulse while the other two firebended at her. She used Shadowspeed to quickly jump out of the way. She landed behind one suit and covered his mouth with her hand, using a spell to put him to sleep.

"Attack her, Redca-!"

Before the woman suit could summon her titan, Zhalia quickly jumped and kicked her in the face, knocking her out. The last suit continued to firebend at her, which she parried and bent away from her.

"Put-em up!" he yelled

"Mindsight"

The power went to the suit's head, who started firebending at her again. She simply stepped aside, and before he could kick some flames at her, she moved away.

"I know when you're going to bend before you do" she smirked, then kicked him to the ground

"Those powers, you must be…" he said, fixing his glasses

"Who cares? You won't remember anyway. Simplemind!"

The red power encased him and he fell unconscious. Zhalia then continued ahead, but was startled when green acid shot past her face. "Huh? What?!" She said as she turned to find Defoe with three suits, two Mindrones and his titan Kreutalk with him.

"A shame, Zhalia Moon. You were so close. Too bad" Defoe taunted.

"Come on then. But while you're wasting time with me, Dante's escaping with the ring." She replied

"Oh, how clever" Defoe smiled sarcastically "But I know you have the real ring of arc. You see we've already captured the other three fakes."

"Can't those idiots do anything right?" Zhalia sighed

"Destroy her!"

Three Raypulses were shot her way, which she jumped away from. We then go back to Lok, Sophie and Cherit.

"That was some snap decision to give away our rings. Pretty gutsy for someone who stresses over multiple choice tests." She commented as they made their way through the catacombs

"Hey look Sophie, no matter what Dante said, he'd never risk giving one of use the real ring. Especially not me." Lok replied

"Aye, that would be much too dangerous for the likes of us. And it would put Lok in a worse situation since they wish to capture him as well." Cherit said as they turned the corner

"Well, we're useless as decoys now and I'm practically a sitting duck down here for them to try and catch me again." Lok said, looking around

"May as well try and get back to street level" Sophie agreed, but then Lok suddenly remembered something.

"Hold on" he said, then quickly looked at his watch, then looked over to Sophie "There's only five minutes left! Listen, what if Dante or Zhalia is stuck fighting a bunch of by themselves right now?" he explained

"With 5 minutes left, they'd never make it out before the ring broke my seal" Sophie caught on

"We've got to go find them!"

"Yes, they might need our help"

They then took off running, with Cherit following closely behind them. We go back to Zhalia, who is ambushed by one of the Mindrone's and falls to the ground. Kreutalk takes this chance to attack her while she's down. She quickly gets back up and pulls out her amulet.

"Fight for your lady, Kilthane!"

The dark knight titan comes forth, standing between Zhalia and the suits ready to attack.

"Attack" Defoe yelled

"Jokoul!"

"Redcap!"

"Redcap!"

The three Organization titans came out of their amulets, with Jokoul jumping over in front of Kilthane.

"I know your type Defoe" Zhalia spoke up "You've had an easy life, isn't that true?"

"Surround her" he smirked, ignoring her comment

"Because of that, you think you're better than everybody else. And you think you have the right to lead them" Zhalia continued

"Let him have it!" Defoe shouted

He and two other suits shot Raypulses at Kilthane, who blocked it with his shield. What he didn't see was the Mindrone on the wall behind him. Zhalia, however, did and pulled out another amulet.

"Impale them, Strix!"

Three wasp like titans sprang forth. One of them flew straight through the Mindrone's eye, which destroyed him and sent him back to his amulet. Another Strix did the same thing to the other. The last Strix was flying towards Defoe.

"Assist me!"

The Jokoul jumped in front of the Strix, but was impaled through the chest and sent back to his amulet like the MIndrones. Just as the Redcaps were about to attack Zhalia, Kilthane blocked them with his shield and then slashed at them. However, Kreutalk took this chance to spit acid at him, causing him to fall over and lean against his sword. A suit then shot spells at him, weakening him.

"Is that it Miss Moon? No more subterfuge?" Defoe asked as the titans came towards her.

Caliban suddenly appeared and sliced at a Redcap, sending him back to his amulet.

"That's a big word for such a small-minded man" Dane said as he appeared through the dust

"Dante, I tried to keep them busy" Zhalia looked over to him

"What is the meaning of this?!" Defoe growled

We then cut to Lok and Sophie, who are still running, trying to find Dante and Zhalia.

"Two minutes left. We've got to hurry!"

"At this rate we'll never make it to them before the seal breaks!" Sophie panicked, but then Lok stopped "What are you doing?!"

"I've got an idea. You're going to have to trust me" Lok said, and then picked up Sophie princess-style.

"What are you…!"

Before she could finish, he began to run. He jumped up and kicked the air, bending it into a ball, which he landed on and they rode it out of the room. Back with Dante and Zhalia, he stares at Defoe and the others before speaking up.

"Zhalia, go ahead. Give him the ring"

She threw the ring at Defoe's feet, who quickly picked it up.

"It can't be. Another fake?! Which one of you really had the ring of arc?!" Defoe yelled

"None of us did, of course." Dante smiled as Zhalia leaned onto the wall with smirk

"What?!"

"Dante!" Lok called out.

He and Sophie appeared in the room on the airball. The ball then disappeared and Lok put Sophie onto the ground.

"Our 30 minutes is almost up, we've got to get out of here!" Lok said, gasping for air

"The real ring of arc was delivered to a Foundation safe house 10 minutes ago" Dante calmly explained

"Huh?"

"That's impossible! No!" Defoe retorted

"Actually it was pretty easy. After we split up, Zhalia's Gareon took the real ring and slipped right through your defenses. You see Gareon has the ability to turn invisible for short periods of time. Combined with our diversions, that allowed him to escape to the surface and reach a Huntik Foundation safe house in plenty of time" Dante explained

"But that means…" Defoe started

"You lost, before you even knew it." Dante finished

"Boy, that's the Dante Vale touch" Cherit commented

"Yes, we did it!" Lok and Sophie high-fived one another in celebration, which Dante smiled at

"…No matter. Even if I can't get the ring, my main objective is your capture, Avatar." Defoe summoned an Augerfrost to his hand while Kreutalk prepared to attack

"Defoe, there's another interesting consequence in my strategy I planned just for you" Dante retorted at him.

"Oh, and what would that be?" Defoe questioned, his spells disappearing

"Your forces are spread throughout the catacombs, while mine are right here." He said

Dante and his team, as well as Caliban and Kilthane began to advance towards him. This caused the two suits who were with him to run in terror.

"Useless cowards! Next time, Dante Vale! I'll capture the Avatar and have you destroyed!" Defoe declared before running off.

"Let him go" he told Zhalia, who had blue fire in her palm, but then put it out "We have business to take care of"

The team, relaxed at successfully completing the mission, began to walk out. Dante then looked over to Lok and Sophie.

"I'm proud of you two. You were conscious of the 30-minute window and made sure to find me and Zhalia to help us with the ring."

"Yeah, but you could have let us know about Gareon and the real ring"

"Sorry, but I had to make sure the Organization didn't use their powers to learn the truth from your minds" Dante apologized

"Well it's a good thing we were able to keep them from getting Lok or the ring." Cherit remarked

"Yes. Oh, that reminds me. Lok, would you show me that air trick you did when you and Sophie arrived?" Dante asked

"Oh, you mean the air scooter? Sure, check it out"

He ran ahead and formed the ball with his hands, and then threw it to the ground and jumped onto it, riding it around like a unicycle. He laughed and waved as he scootered around his team and landed in front of them.

"That's impressive. My first time seeing an air scooter"

"Yeah, now all he needs is a red nose and some pins and he could be a great act for the circus" Zhalia remarked sarcastically.

"Haha, my sister once told me something similar. Well, let's get on out of this creepy place" Lok smile, and he and the team exited the catacombs and headed to Notre Dame, where they met with Clements, a researcher for the Foundation. Sophie went to read a book in an armchair while Lok and Cherit took books of their own.

"I take it you got my message" Dante said

"Yes, I wasn't quite sure what was going on, but I prepared the reliquary right away, and it does seem to be holding." He replied, opening the box with ring inside.

"Fine, but can you tell what it is? An amulet maybe?" Zhalia asked, leaning against a bookshelf while holding Gareon in her arms like a cat.

"I don't think it's one of the legendary titans if that's what you mean. I'm guessing it's just an ordinary cursed ring."

"With that strong of a curse, not even an elite seeker could sense a titan inside." Dante replies with doubt.

"Okay, I'll request our top experts from the Huntik council and we'll figure it out, alright?"

"Till then, don't let the ring leave here" Dante warned

"Are you sure seekers learn new powers by studying all these books?" Lok moaned at Sophie

"Duh, how do you think I learned mine?"

"Ah, it's too hard"

"Lok"

Lok looked back to Sophie, who looked up to him.

"Did the ring of arc show you anything? Like, visions or something?" She asked

"Yeah, some were good some were bad"

"Mine were all bad. Really bad" Sophie frowned, hugging her knees to her chest.

"Oh, hey all those visions meant nothing okay? All that seeing the future stuff was just as story" Lok quickly comforted her.

"Right, it was only a cursed ring" Sophie smiled

"You know, you two were something to see today" Cherit smiled, flying over and landing on the arm of the armchair Sophie was sitting on.

"Yeah Sophie, using that spell you only read about, and on the first try! You were great!" Lok encouraged

"What about you? Psyching out those suits, rescuing me from the pit with your bending. You're like a real seeker or something!"

"Don't sound so surprised. I'm going to give Dante a run for his money, someday" Lok smirked

"Sure you are, right after Cherit beats Caliban at arm wrestling" Sophie joked

Zhalia, watching the two, looked over to Dante and gave him a look, then nodded over to Lok. He looked over at the teen and gave a small sigh of acceptance.

"Lok"

The new seeker looked over to his mentor "What's up"

"There's somewhere that we need to go"

"Oh yeah, where?"

"Spain, or rather, the Pyrenees Mountains. There is something you need to see there"

"What, are you serious?! Awesome, we're going to see the temples aren't we?! I'll go get packed right away!" Lok exclaimed excitedly, and ran off.

"What are you doing? Why not just tell him and get it over it?" Zhalia questioned

"He wouldn't believe me even if I told him. He has to see the truth for himself."

"But wasn't the Pyrenees where the Fire Nation first launched their attack on the Air Nation?" Sophie questioned, a bit alarmed

"Exactly, he has to see with his own eyes the severity of this war, and bring him to realize his destiny as the Avatar." Dante explained

"That boy is the Avatar?! I had heard that the Avatar was now one of us, but to think that I just witnessed him with my own eyes!" Clements exclaimed

"Don't get too excited, he hasn't even started waterbending yet" Zhalia quipped

"…I really hope you know what you're doing Dante, for all our sakes" Sophie quietly spoke, closing her book

We cut to the Organization central, where we find Defoe kneeling before a Russian man (I'm saying Russian because I can't tell what nationality he is), with the Professor behind his desk looking away.

"Rassimov let me explain" Defoe begged

"Let me be clear Defoe, I am speaking for the Professor as he is too furious to lay eyes on you" the man retorted

"Sir"

"Listen well, you have been removed from your duties. Rejoice that he has not ordered your termination, yet" he said, before walking away

We then find Defoe in a basement, sitting on a stool.

"Curse you Dante Vale, you've ruined me again!" Defoe snarled, smashing several glass bottles "With or without the Organization, I will steal the Avatar from you and bring your end!"

Okay, another chapter down. The next chapter will not be an episode from the Huntik series, but from the Avatar series, where Aang visits his old air temple home and finds out the truth about the airbenders. See you then
