Chapter Seven

Upon waking up, I was very confused. I scratched the back of my head with a yawn, blearily looking around. The warmth I had felt the previous night was , sadly, missing. I wondered where Saya had went.

I grimaced when I noticed that multiple sets of eyes were watching me, the owners of said eyes practically drooling as they did , the one with glasses, Taniuchi, was most definitely drooling…what the fuck?

This was something I'd never woken up to, had anyone?

I noticed that the curvaceous ginger was gone, the orange-haired minx was nowhere in sight…where was Yuuki? Did I want to know what she was up to? Taniuchi sighed wistfully.

I shifted uncomfortably, "What the hell are you staring at," I muttered, my cheeks feeling hot all of the sudden. I was somewhat sad to see Shizuka not paying attention to me, but remembered the conversation we had had the night before. It was arrogant of me to think she'd just let that go. I promised I'd stay away from her, afterall. The group of girls inhaled deeply as I stretched with a tired and weary yawn, I had not slept well the previous night. My dreams had been troubled and dark, as expected. They were the only dreams I have ever had since I was six and the zombie apocalypse certainly wasn't helping with them.

"Oh, oh god," Saya whispered, covering her mouth with her hand, her cheeks a bright crimson color. Wait a moment, why was she staring between my legs. I noticed that all of them were doing the same…

"I wonder why we're looking," Rei giggled in a teasing tone, her amber eyes were hungry and predatory…huh? I blinked, before looking down. My eyes widened, my cock was straining hungrily against the cloth of my uniform pants, stretching upward. I flushed, before covering my crotch with my hands.

"You girls sure are weird."

"You were so cute when you slept," Misuzu whispered, "We didn't wake you up for second watch s because you looked so cute…"

"I…its morning wood, grow the fuck up," I snapped in embarrassment, before quickly trying to escape. I practically dove out of the bus in a desperate need to get to the bathroom and relieve myself. God, these girls were going to be the death of me.

I was aroused by what happened and embarrassed at the same time. I didn't know what was happening; I was never embarrassed before this. Just having so many girls looking at me like that... I immediately headed to the bathroom once I got inside the minimart, ripping the door open. With my other hand I was unbuttoning my dark uniform pants.

I froze, and so did the girl who was inside. She was gazing in the mirror, washing her hands. I blushed. Yuuki Miku…her golden eyes narrowed at me, her lips curling into a lecherous smirk as she ran her fingers through loose orange waves. Sighing gently, she slid a headband on with a gorgeous smile.

"Saeko, good morning, it was rude not to knock" She greeted. I nodded at her.

"Sorry, I just...really had to go."

Her amber gaze shot down to the tent in my pants, she kneeled, "I can see that, and hello to you as well big guy," Yuuki cooed and she placed a cool hand on the aching, throbbing region. I groaned, swallowing as I forced her hand away. It was scary how much will that had taken.

She pouted now, then laughed and shut the bathroom door behind me. "Let's have some fun Saeko." She locked it. The ginger pressed herself close to me, her breasts soft as they met mine. I groaned, all the heat in my body shooting straight between my legs. I wanted her to touch me at the same time as I didn't. "This little guy is in serious need of assistance; you can't let your little beast get that hard. I'll help you," She purred with a smile, standing.

Despite being taller, and stronger. I was intimidated. She ran a soothing hand along my cheek, her eyes gazing into mine. Then her fingers wrapped around the collar of my uniform and her entire body was on me. I was forced back against the bathroom door

Her mouth brushed mine, leaving eager little kisses. "Mm," she ground against me, panting, "Saeko...kiss me back," she whispered, before her mouth met mine again. Why not, I decided, as I pressed my lips back against hers.

This kiss was harsh and hungry; we tore at each other's lips with both teeth and tongue. Her hands slid over my shoulders, before she settled them on my back. I gripped her by the hair and pulled her slightly away from me, turning us around and pinning her against the wall instead of me.

"Mm," Yuuki whispered, "good girl." The praise felt good for some reason. I hastily moved my mouth to her neck, sucking and licking, flicking my tongue across the flesh. Then I nibbled, tasting her.

I wanted to leave a mark.

She moaned with pleasure at just this, burying her fingers into my hair in an encouraging manner. "Sae-Saeko, if you don't stop, you realize, you'll make a mess of my skin," She whispered harshly, wanton. I paused for a moment, taking in her words. Then, I grinned.

"I know." With that, I went back to what I was doing, teasing the porcelain skin of her neck. She was laughing now, somehow whimpering at the same time. Yuuki made the sexiest noises.

"Oh Saeko, you're such a naughty girl." I smirked at that, before pulling up from her throat to kiss her again. She gave me a chaste one. She reached around behind her, unlocking the bathroom door.

She mischievously, "And you're so cute too," Without another word and before I could even make sense of what was happening, she turned the knob and stepped out, laughing all the while.

I was left standing there, raging hard, eyes wide. What? What just happened!? Did she just fucking leave me here? I expected her to come waltzing back in, that smug expression plastered across her face. Instead the door stayed shut. First, I was confused. Then slowly, ever so slowly, anger began to find its way through my veins. My teeth pressed together hard, so hard I thought they might break. I wanted to go after her.

There was a knock on the door a moment later, just when I had begun to unzip my pants and finish myself. "Come on Saeko, it's time to get going," Takashi exclaimed. "We're practically at the city now. We need to get going."

I desperately, desperately wished to come, but I realized at that moment I really couldn't afford to waste any more time in here.

Fucking Yuuki.

I tucked myself back in, buttoned up my pants, inhaled deeply, exhaled, and then opened the door. "Yeah, sorry," I muttered as I was stepping past him. I was so turned on it wasn't even funny. Rei gave me a harsh look when I stepped onto the bus, Shizuka was shaking her head. What was going on now?

"What," I asked when all eyes turned on me.

"You went to get rid of that, now it's even more giant than before! How are you supposed to do anything with that. And it's distracting me," Rei claimed, resting a hand on her hip, and tossing her cinnamon locks over her shoulder. I glanced down, considered her words for a moment, and then shrugged it off. I could deal with it. If I could, so could she.

"Well you're going to have to deal with it, I didn't have enough time," I met Yuuki's gaze angrily; she nearly burst into laughter before leaning close to Misuzu. She whispered in her ear and the brunette started to giggle as well. I flushed, I knew they were talking about me. I decided to just sit down and relax by myself.

"You can sit with me if you want Saeko," A tentative voice murmured. I was surprised to see Kaori waving me over, a tiny smile on her face. It was really nice to see her smiling again. I nodded and stood. I slipped into the seat next to the awkward girl; I was increasingly finding her less and less awkward.

"Thanks, I didn't want to sit next to you, I was afraid you didn't really like me." I said, running my fingers through my dark hair.

"No, I understand why you did what you did, we've already talked about it a little," She gave me a pretty, serene smile. Wow, my eyes widened at how pretty she looked with her teeth showing like that. I felt a tingly sensation in my stomach. I looked away, face hot as I thought about how much I loved girls.

There was a series of light thumping noises as Takashi and Kohta stepped onto the bus, with a couple more bags of food which they set down in the front seats. It seemed the girls really weren't fond of sitting next to each other. The only ones who were, were Yuuki and Misuzu and then Kaori and I.

Saya was seeming very pissed off, sitting with her arms crossed and a dark expression. Shizuka was refusing to meet my eyes, but also looked as if she was about to burst into tears. I myself was trying not to look at Rei, afraid of what I'd see in those eyes.

I was actually a bit afraid of her.

"You act as if I did it of my own free will Kaori, I did it because your boyfriend asked me too," I murmured.

"Silly, that wasn't my boyfriend. He was my best friend," She said with the tiniest hint of amusement, "just because I'd die for him, doesn't mean we're dating. Why does everyone assume we are anyways?" To say I was surprised would be an understatement. But now wasn't the time to be socializing, now that everyone was on the bus again.

I stood up, leaning against the side of the seat.

"Let's get going Shizu," I called to the golden-haired woman. The blonde gave me a simple nod, turned the key, and began to drive.

It was good to be on the move again.

Sitting back down, I watched outside the window dully, finding the rapid passing of what lay outside to be a bit mesmerizing. Time ticked past, the sky growing slowly brighter as dawn left and day came. One of the horrible things about this entire situation was that it came at such a great, warm time of the year. When the trees were in full bloom and the sun was like a beacon in the sky.

I wanted to know why this happened so badly. I wanted an explanation. What had humanity fucked up this time? Was it a bioweapon, a scientific experiment, a test gone wrong? And why hadn't it been nipped in the bud, one zombie was easy to handle how had the situation gotten out of control so fast? It was all a bit overwhelming to think about.

"It's the city," Taniuchi exclaimed as towering buildings and apartments came into view around the corner of the road. Below the road, the ocean glistened brightly as the sunlight bounced off of it. Taniuchi adjusted her glasses, and then stared in horror when she saw the condition of the city. A pair of arms slid around one of mine, soft breasts pressing to my left shoulder.

"It's horrible," Kaori whispered, sounding almost as if she was in pain. I noticed just then what she was seeing. Plumes of smoke rose free from the rooftops, and carcasses littered the street. There were few cars as well. It was going on here too. I don't know why I even got my hopes up. It was still crushing in a way. In the distance, alarms blared.

It was a mockery of what once was, once upon a time it was a warning.

Now, the alarms led the source of danger to them. I shifted, putting my arms around the girl next to me and pulling her close, I tucked her face into my neck.

"I know it's horrible but I can and will protect you. All of you. I know we can beat this."

"Would you stop it for a second, god dammit Saeko," Saya shrieked, standing quickly, her eyes wide with rage. I almost jumped, the shout was so unexpected.

The bus skidded to a quick stop. "Why do you have to be like that?! Y-you're playing with us like we're toys! You're acting just like that Shido freak! I'll protect you, no, I'll protect you! Well, god damn you; I don't want to see it anymore. First Misuzu then me then Rei then..." Saya swallowed, gazing down at the ground. She was teary eyed. I shifted uncomfortably.

I was going to protect all of them. Before I could say that she was talking again, "I think Saeko should leave. She's just gonna be a problem." My eyes widened.

"I think you're just jealous," Yuuki sniped, standing with a small laugh, "Jealous that Saeko has absolutely no interest in you. At least compared to the rest of us. The only thing you ever had going for you was how rich you are. That doesn't matter now, does it?" Yuuki sneered. I glanced between Saya and her. Saya looked like she was about to explode with rage.

"Yeah Saya, what the hell's wrong with you," Misuzu agreed, pushing her dark brown bangs from her face. "Saeko's nothing like that creep."

"Oh really? She talks the same, she creepily licks her lips like him, she even touches the other girls just like him, and Rei told me what you did her by the hair and forced her to give you a blowjob!" My eyes widened with shock. I…what!?

I stood now, angry. "What the fuck are you talking about," I demanded, slamming my hand down upon the top of my seat. "I didn't do that, that's bullshit! Complete and total bullshit! She said she owed me for getting rid of Shido so she'd suck me off."

"Why do you have a wound on your lip then, Rei told me how she bit your lip when you forced her to kiss you," I shook my head, glaring with full hostility at the brown-haired girl. She had a solemn expression, but when I met her eyes, there was a twinkle in them that told me she was amused. I had had enough of her.

I was done.

"Fine, I'll go," I spat, before standing, grabbing my wooden blade, and walking down the aisle quickly. "I have no issue leaving, it's all of you who will die without me. When I say I'll protect you, I'm not hitting on you. I'm being genuine."

"What's your problem Rei, lying like that," Misuzu spat, Kaori stood as well as her; the two followed me off the bus. "She has actually protected us." Rei had a strange expression on her face. I gripped my bokken in an iron grip, wishing it was my hands around that bitch's neck.

"Okay, I was lying, get back on the bus, I just wanted to see you get rough with me," She explained, smiling as if there was absolutely nothing wrong with that statement.

. My mind was made up fully at that moment. Saya seemed shocked, and guilty. She looked around nervously.

"Fuck you Rei. Why do you hate me so much that you'd pull something like this. First you treat me like shit, and then you act like you're interested, and now you're being a lying fucking skank! Fuck off, I have no desire to be around nor with someone like you, let's go Kaori, Misuzu."

Despite being angry, I didn't want to leave. But why were they all turning on me so fast? The only valid reason is that none of them trusted me in the first place. They thought I was some freak. Takashi and Kohta and Saya...even Shizuka didn't completely trust me. Probably because how I'd held her by the throat, and Takashi because I'd hurt him. Now I was even more pissed.

"Don't be like that," Rei sighed, before walking down the stairs of the bus after me. I flipped her off over my shoulder, content with leaving. My only regret was leaving the others on the bus behind. Not protecting them as they promised but if they didn't want me to...

Rei grasped my wrist. "Get back on the bus." I shoved her hand away, disgusted, "get back on the bus Saeko, please," She said tentatively, still smiling.

"…"

"You said you'd protect all those girls, were you lying? And here I thought Samurai had some honor," She shrugged, "Were you lying to…you're not even paying attention," My gaze had flickered over to where a large bus appeared down the road. I heard Saya scream at Shizuka to drive.

I, meanwhile, had a very bad feeling.

It all happened so fast. The bus hit a car, and flipped through the air. Right towards us. What bad luck."Run! Down the tunnel," I shouted. The three other girls who had all noticed it as well, all nodded in agreement.

We moved just in time to avoid the giant vehicle colliding with us. It hit the ground directly in front of the tunnel, it would have hit us if we stayed where we were. And it was blocking off the exit of the tunnel we'd ran through. To make matters worse, it erupted into flames, licking angrily at the sky. My eyes widened, I shook my head. Good lord. I felt painfully mortal, and both lucky and unlucky.

"Saeko, are you alright," I heard Takashi yell from the other side of the barrier of flames. I felt a rush of relief that they were okay.

"Yeah, we're all fine! But fuck, Takashi...what the hell are we going to do now?" My eyes widened with shock momentarily when figures began to rise from the flames, towards us, but right when I thought they were actually going to reach us, they collapsed, dead upon the floor. I guessed they couldn't handle the heat. Maybe the fire finally reached their brains.

I turned my attention back to the brunette boy across from me.

"Let's meet up at the police station, at midnight if not then noon the next day. "If we don't run into each other for over three days, then it's best we just stay split up," I sighed, it was too dangerous to luck for each other if push came to shove.

"Alright," He agreed. "But it won't come to that." I thought for a moment, thinking in my head where exactly the station would be from here. I wasn't exactly sure where we were but I could figure it out.

"Alright! See you then, take care of the girls and Kohta alright?" I shouted, "Oh, and yourself buddy."

"You got it," He responded cheerfully. There was a dangerous sounding sound, I suddenly realized something. Bus equals gas tank, gas tank plus flame equals…

"OH FUCK, run!" I yelled as I raced down the tunnel as fast as I could. Why hadn't I thought of that? Not hesitating, Misuzu, Kaori, and Rei dashed after me. I guess my timing was good because just as we escaped flames erupted in an explosion, shooting down the tunnel. We all made it out before flames consumed us.

I collapsed, panting hard, slick with sweat. For a moment, we all just sat there. I panted, wiping the sweat from my eyes as I took in the situation. I had to get up, we had to move. I rose to my feet, shaking my head. "Oh my god, we almost died," I whispered, rubbing my temples. "Not killed by zombies, we almost died from an exploding bus-"

"Saeko," Misuzu gasped, "there's a-"

Just as I turned to the source of her panic, it felt as if two cinderblocks slammed into my chest. There was a loud clicking noise coming from the zombie's helmet. It's teeth trying to reach me?I struggled, my bokken lying useless beside me. The zombie's hands were on my chest, gripping far too hard for my liking. I struggled profusely, panting and trying to push him off of me.

I was going to die wasn't I? It was a fully grown man, and I felt his weight. A biker in full leather attire, his head hidden behind his helmet. I tried to escape again but to no avail. I didn'y know how it would happen, but soon, those teeth were going to reach me. "Fuck," I whispered. Just as I was about to give up there was a loud thud, and a big cement block crashed into the man's helmeted skull.

Misuzu was staring down at me with wide eyes. The man collapsed, dead. Completely dead. He hit the ground next to me.

I held my face, nearly in tears. I had thought I was going to die, for the second time that day. I peered through my fingers at the beautiful girl who had saved me. "Thank you Misuzu," I murmured with a smile, she nodded.

"I wasn't going to let you just die Saeko."

"Sorry to interrupt, but we should get going," Rei murmured, gazing around us. I glanced around us, nodding. Truthfully I didn't want to move. I was sore, and hungry, and my skin was so sweaty I felt disgusting. Not to mention I'd come close to death twice within a five minute period. What did the future hold for me. Was there even a future?

"Yeah," I nodded, getting up. How cocky was I? I was weaker than I thought I was. Mentally and physically.

"Midnight," Kaori looked at her watch, "That's in a few hours, let's get going."

"Here we go, I have a feeling this is going to be fun," Rei smiled, "just the four of us." I wished I could backhand her. I resisted the urge. Just barely.
