Aside from the earlier troubles Drew faced for the Christmas Festival, everything was running smoothly. The people began lining up for the food stalls, and game booths, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.

"Clare?" Drew began. "Who's going to be in charge of the kissing booth?"

Clare tuned a shade of pink before responding to Drew's question.

"Well I thought I would do it, since I doubt I'll be able to find anyone to do it right now" she answered.

"Oh." was all he could respond.

Drew knew that was actually the most logical thing to do, but that didn't stop him from feeling the sudden spark of jealousy in the pit of his stomach.

"Oh, that makes sense, umm, yeah great idea VP." He said

"Well I have to finish setting up the booth with a few more decorations before opening, you should take a walk around the lot just to make sure everything is ok" she said.

Drew agreed and walked away, he knew tonight he would have to tell Clare how he felt, even if she didn't feel the same way, he knew if he chickened out now, he'd never have the guts to do it.

Clare was all done setting up her booth when the line of prospective kissers started to form.

Clare was completely embarrassed and hoped no one would stop by, but she didn't know why many people were already starting to line up.

Drew kept making his rounds to ensure all the booths and activities were running smoothly. He was standing next to Imogen when he over heard some freshman talking.

"Bro, I can't believe you actually got to kiss her. She's smoking hot. I never thought Clare would actually kiss you." One of the boys said.

"She's making bank though" the other boy responded. "For sure, did you see that line, I think half the school is probably waiting to kiss her, I even saw some chicks in line too, So Hot" he finished.

Drew's find flashed with the image of Clare kissing the student body. She was always the responsible one and Drew knew she probably wasn't enjoying herself, but that didn't stop him from feeling that jealousy he'd gotten to know all to well, to start acting up again.

Drew decided it was time.

He needed to let Clare know how much she meant to him.

Drew made his way to the kissing booth and stopped as soon as he saw the length of the line.

Drew saw most of the male student body from all grades in line waiting to get a kiss from the girl he loved. He even saw the girls the other two boys had been talking about, which really surprised him.

"Oh thank God you're here Drew!" she exclaimed,

"I have no idea why so many people are here!" she continued.

Drew chuckled a bit after seeing Clare so frazzled by the attention she was getting. "Its because you're beautiful" he states "Of course all the guys, even some girls, are gonna want a kiss from you" he laughed. But don't worry I got this"

Drew cupped his hands over his mouth like a megaphone and yelled "Kissing booth will be closed for the next hour! Please come back at a later time!"

"AWW!" was heard in unison from the disappointed customers who still had not had their kiss, but the line started to disperse and Drew walked behind the boot counter and sat next to Clare on the little wooden stool.

"Thanks Drew" Clare said, "I don't know how much more of that I could've taken."

"Yeah me neither" Drew mumbled under hos breath.

"What?" Clare asked. "Um Nothing." Drew answered.

They sat in silence for a few minuets until Clare spoke.

"Drew I have something to tell you." she started "And please just let me finished everything I have to say before you respond."

"Drew, I know you've been giving me the space and time iv sked for and you have no idea how much that means to me, because I know you could probably date anyone you wanted… and I know Im not the most fun or entertaining person, but I know what we have is special. Soo… I just wanted to ask if you would want to go out with me sometime." Clare held her breath as she waited for Drew's response.

Drew was stunned and shocked by what he had just heard. He had gathered up his courage to come let Clare know how he felt, and shed beat him to it. She was amazing.

Drew took out his wallet and placed a 10-dollar bill on counter. Clare looked puzzled for a moment and looked back at Drew.

He didn't say anything, but grabbed her face and pulled her in to the most passionate kiss she had ever been given. She didn't know for how long he kissed her but it felt magical.

Drew slowly pulled away from her face, and gave her a small kiss on the forehead.

"Clare, you seriously blow me away, here I was trying to get the courage to ask you out and tell you how much you mean to me, and you beat me to it." He laughed. "and might I add that those were the best 10 bucks iv ever spent in my entire life"

Clare laughed at his stupid joke, and was overwhelmed with joy, she grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him in for one more kiss.

"Wow" was all Drew could say after she pulled away.

"Yeah Wow is right", she mirrored and smiled at Drew.

"So where do you want to go for our first real date" Drew asked.

"I don't know" she responded, "ill let you decide that" she finished.

Drew smiled down at the beautiful girl who had stolen his heart, he knew this was going to be the start of something that would change his life. Clare was so different from the other girls he'd been with, because he knew she was someone who would be going places. And if a girl like Clare could give him a chance, then he thought he could probably make it too.

Drew secretly thanked Adam, cause deep down he knew Adam would approve of then together and he knew Adam loved Clare, and now he also knew why. She was breathtaking and he knew he loved her already.

"Hey you wanna sneak off for a bit, and grab some food" Drew asked as he helped Clare off the one of the wooden stools.

"Sure, I'm starving" she said.

Drew grabbed her hand and interlaced their fingers together, he led her down the Carnival never letting go of her hand.
