After waiting what seemed to be an eternity Doc finally got up and walked into his kitchen and began his morning routine.

I watched him from the doorway, he seemed slower than usual, but I assumed it was because he just woke up.

He reached up to open the cabinets and I heard his bones pop, it sounded painful, but he seemed to enjoy it.

Moving a little bit faster now, he grabbed a box of Sugar Bombs and couple of bowls and two spoons, I guess the one was for me?

"Good morning!" I said gleefully as I walked into the kitchen and sat down at the table, Doc quietly sat down and passed me a bowl and spoon, pouring his food first, then passing me the box.

"Well I would ask if you slept well, but by the looks of it. You didn't get a wink of sleep," he said before taking a bite of his food.

"Oh, but I did. And I had a sort-of-wonderful dream. Do you know of a town that can see a statue of two men shaking hands?"

He cocked his head, chewing slowly as he processed my question.

Taking advantage of the silence, I took a bite of my Sugar Bombs, and hol-y-shit. They aren't called Sugar Bombs for nothing. Biting into the little balls causes and explosion of sugar in your mouth.

I can't eat these. My stomach was already hurting from it.

He gave a puzzled look, and after a minute of thought he said: " Primm I think."

I couldn't help but squeal with joy, I couldn't stop myself from getting up and hugging him.

"Oh I'm so happy!"

"So I take it you started rememberin' where you're from?" Doc said while taking another bite of his food. Not even acknowledging the hug.

So I started telling him about my dream and the man in a checkered suit, and how I think my name starts with 'B' and how in my dream I called a woman 'mommy'. After he finished his meal he told me all he knew about Primm, which wasn't much. But I was happy all the same.

"You might have more luck asking Sunny Smiles about this."

"Oh! Sunny! I had almost forgotten. She wanted to show me something today," I said.

"Well you better get going then, don't wanna keep her waiting."

"Thanks for your help, Doc. I'll get going right away!"

"Wait a second. After what happened yesterday, I wanna make sure you're prepared," The Doctor said as he walked to his hallway. After a minute or two he came back with a First-Aid kit and canteen.

"Now it may not be much, but if you're going out on you're own, then you better have it. Now I already filled the canteen up and the First-Aid kit has the basics, Stimpacks, Rad-Away, Rad-X, Anti-venom and some bandages. Everything a young lone wanderer needs."

A smile crossed my face as I took the gifts from the elderly doctor's hands. This was more than I could have hoped for.

"Thank you," I said as I gave him a hug. This time he returned the hug. After letting go I stepped back and he coughed and looked awkward.

"Now you stay safe, you hear?"

"Yeah. I hear you."

And with that, I left. The walk to the Saloon didn't take but a minute. Passing Easy Pete with a nod I headed inside and was instantly greeted by the sound of two people arguing.

"I'm done being nice. If you don't hand over Ringo soon, I'm going to get my friends and we're burning this town to the ground, got it?" A dark man said, staring down a small woman who didn't even flinch.

"We'll keep that in mind. Now, if you're not going to buy something, get out." The woman said as she crossed her arms. It was clear that she couldn't care less about what he said at all.

The man had clearly had enough of her because he turned and walked out the door. But not before eyeing me with a smile, I didn't like at all.

"Creepy," I said while walking towards sunny.

"Hey. How's Cheyenne doing?"

"She's alright, you ready to learn about living off the land?"

"Yup!"

And with that we headed out in search of plants. After what seemed like forever I finally managed to create some Healing Powder. As happy as I was to know that I now knew a recipe that could save my life, I still wished it didn't taste so bad.

After creating the bitter tasting power, Sunny congratulated me and said that all it took was some know-how and a few ingredients. And that sometimes my gun would need repair, so on and so forth.

After sitting down to eat lunch I said: "Hey sunny. Where is Primm?"

"Just down the road," she said while tossing bits of meat to Cheyenne.

"Wow! That close? That's great!"

"Why do you ask?"

"Last night, I had a dream that I was standing with my mother. And that we were looking at these giant statues of two men shaking hands. I asked Doc Mitchell about it, and he said that there was a statue like that near Primm."

" Wow! So you're getting you're memory back? That's great!" She shouted a little louder than she mean too. Quickly laughing at how excited she got.

" Yeah," I said with a smile.

" So do you remember anything else?"

" Hmm, not really. But for some reason I think my name might have started with a 'B'."

" That's something, I wonder what it is? You kind of look like a Bethany."

" I don't know, it doesn't sound right," I said scrunching up my nose.

" Umm, I'll start thinking of all B-words I know."

Sunny got a funny look on her face, and threw herself back laughing loudly.

"What? What's so funny?"

" I know a lot of bad words that start with the letter 'B'!" She managed to get out before losing her breath.

"Oh, hush!" I said tossing an empty can at her leg.

After a few minutes, and several thrown objects later, Sunny stopped laughing.

Sitting there and talking about Goodsprings, Primm, and just whatever came up, it was nice. I like spending time with Sunny and Cheyenne. Hours passed and the sun was setting.

I couldn't help but sigh. It was time to head back.

" Come on, Sunny. It's getting late."

" Yeah, you don't want to be out while the Coyotes are hunting."

The walk back to Goodsprings seemed to go quicker than the walk to the park, I wonder why?

"Hey do me a favor. Trudy - she's the bartender up at the Prospector, kind of the town mom - she likes to meet newcomers. She'd be cross with me if I didn't ask you to poke your head in and say hi."

" Oh, okay. See you tomorrow?"

" You bet," She said with a smile.

After walking back, Sunny waved goodbye as she walked back to her house.

Pausing in the center of town, looking about at all the houses, animal pens. There were plenty of broken down buildings.

I wonder if I could build a shack to live in? Or maybe repair a building enough to live in?

I should as Trudy if there are any rules I should know about before I try to mess with the houses.

Well, better go meet her. I hope she's nice.

I started walking over to the Porspectors Saloon to meet Turdy. I wonder if she's the same woman that was arguing with that creepy guy?
