Chapter 7

Faith, Desmond, and Dante

"Freeing a Caged Bird"

To think the situation Desmond and Faith are in couldn't be anymore strange, it just got downright insane as they witness the man in dark and silver hair reached for his sword that appeared on his back just out of nowhere, and pulled it out while looking at the scientist named Cassey, even when she wore the containment suit with her mask on, fear was seen in her eyes and they only widen when the demonic slash angelic man pointed his blade at her.

"Now that I'm out of that thing," the man spoke, "I think it's time for you to answer some questions, like what the hell were you planning to do to me?"

Faith eyes widen as realization hit her, this man or what ever he is, he must of also been captured and is just as confused as Faith and the other man she helped named Desmond, she remembered that the man said his name, Dante if she heard right.

Cassey only stuttered, debating internally whether to remain calm and stay silent or to answer whatever question he has for his life depends on it, then she remembered something important, something about the being before her that could save her life, she has to know if the man had any sense of humanity, and she dared to test it.

"I am unauthorized to answer any of your question, kill me now and you're not getting any answers at all," she said boldly, but sweat were still show on the side of her face, and unfortunately for her, Dante was able to see it.

"Nah, I think you 'are' going to give me some answers, like where the hell am I, who are you, and how do you know me?" he said, already getting impatient and uncomfortable without Ivory and Ebony by his side.

"Well your not getting any, now you better back down, there are thousands of securities in this build-AH!" she was suddenly lifted off from the floor and off her feet when Dante roughly pulled her up by the front of her suit and brought her face closer to his.

"I don't give two s*** about your guardsmen! Now start talking or I'll-" he's arm was suddenly grabbed beside him, Dante turned to see who it was, he's face remained neutral though he was surprised to see a woman with short black hair who looked nothing like the scientist he's seen, she held his arm with a red glove she wore and looked at him cautiously but no fear was shown in her.

He then noticed a different man in a white hoodie behind the woman who was shocked at the woman's action and looked ready to either run or attack.

"You got something to say?" Dante eyed the woman whose attention was caught by the woman's tattoo on her eye.

"Yea, and it's better than what your trying to do," the woman started, "Your act in trying to scare the answers out of her isn't working much, and killing her isn't going to help either," Faith stared at Dante who she can tell wasn't expecting for her to confront him.

"Oh yea, and how do I know your not one of these ass****?" Dante questioned, accepting the challenge of a staring contest between him and Faith, it was an even match so far.

"Because your not the only one whose looking for answers," Faith answered, Dante just stares at her eyes who showed only confidence then looked at the man behind her.

"You and your boyfriend over there?" Dante asked, he pointed out to Desmond who just frowned.

"What? No we're not...we just met, I don't even know her name," Desmond said quickly, crossing his arms, before realizing what he just said, it was true that he didn't even know this woman's name, he never asked yet she knew his, Desmond looked behind Faith who was too busy staring at the man to noticed the eyes of mistrust were upon her.

"Look, why don't you let me do the talking," Faith offered, Dante looked at her, clenching his sword with his other hand.

"Or what?" he asked, Dante was honestly curious, what could this woman who was a foot shorter than him do, sure she looked tough, but is she?

Dante's view of her being tough changed to being quick, as Faith ducked and did a swift kick behind him and swept him off his feet and had to let go of the scientist, as he fell back he managed to land with both of his hand and rolled back, instinctively he reached for Ivory and Ebony as he stood up again but only to remember that the bastards took them when he was out.

He instead reached for his Rebellion, but stopped himself when he sees the woman putting Cassey's arm around the scientist's back and banged her head to the floor, neither Dante nor Desmond ever blinked after Faith had already restrained the scientist, and if they did, they probably wouldn't even know what had just happened.

Cassey was struggling, trying to get away but in doing so had her arm placed even further up of her back, "S-stop, ow!" Cassey cried out.

"I'll loosen my grip, when you tell me where we are," Faith questioned, to make her point that she was serious, she pulled Cassey's arm up more, ready to break at any moment, Desmond was startled by Faith's abilities while Dante looked impressed, only slightly of course.

When Cassey couldn't take the pain any longer, she finally spoke, "Alright, ALRIGHT! You're in a facility, a place the we-'The Control'- discover and settled here!" she screamed, Faith frowned at the vague information she was giving.

"You might want to be more specific, like where exactly is this facility, outside of New York?"

"Or Limbo City?" Dante stepped in, Faith kept her eye at him, but she was also wondering what the two men were talking about, Faith has never heard of New York or Limbo City.

Cassey just scoffed, "If I just tell you, you wouldn't even believe me, but if it will satisfy you and have YOU release my arm, then very well you ignorant minded fools," as she talked, Desmond looked towards something else, "You're in a different-" She stopped when a bullet went through her skull, and it would of hit Faith too if Desmond didn't see the shooter and pulled Faith away just in time.

"S***!" Faith cussed as Desmond had her fall back, within minutes, Guardsmen surrounded the place above them on the railing, Dante looked back and finally noticed the other doctor from afar, there was a red button beside him on the wall and Dante knew that he must of called the Guardsmen, he also didn't seemed distress when the gunman just shot his associate.

Faith looked up too see that they were surrounded, even from the door she and Desmond came through had five guards behind it, they were outnumber, Faith was ready to run, Desmond was still trying to think of a way to get out of this alive, while Dante stood there with his Rebellion over his shoulder, looking eager to fight.

"Guess its time to stretch my legs," Dante said cockily, he readied his rebellion, he was looking forward in beating down the people who put him in that dome, even if its just his sword, he can deal with these men easily, as long as there wasn't a powerful foe that they just so happened to have in case of an emergency such as this he should be good, unfortunately for Dante, they do.

"Now! Bring it in!" said one guardsmen, the scientist pulled what looked like to be a controller and pressed the blue button on it, unseen by the three the controller had writings engraved on the side.

'MB5-Big Daddy'

As soon as the button was pressed, the walls at the opposite end of where Dante, Desmond and Faith began to crack and moved apart from each other, revealing a dark hallway, an inhuman growl that sounded like a whale call was heard at the end of the hallway, loud stomps can be heard coming closer, eight green glowing circles that could be described as eyes were seen from the darkness, the being was then truly revealed as it came out of the hallway.

It looked nothing human, it had a body of a short man yet its build was enormous, wearing what looked like to be a submarine suit with its helmet too massive to be described as a human head, eight of its eyes glow and on it's right arm was a large drill attached, it continues to make out saddening noises that could be described as breathing, and with every step it made, the entire floor shook.

Dante looked at the Big Daddy curiously, Faith couldn't find herself getting up as she stare the creature, her muscles refusing to function, and Desmond just had the 'What the F*** is that' face.

"You must be one ugly mothef***er if your wearing that kind of helmet," Dante taunted the Big Daddy, the monster released steams from the opening of its helmet and its eyes turned yellow, as if it was slightly angered by Dante's comment, but still remained still.

"You are so going to regret for ever trying to resist us," the scientist man said, a grin was shown on his face, Dante would of laughed at the man's confidence until he spoke again.

"MB5," he said to the Big Daddy, "Subdue Number 7."

The Big Daddy, being called MB5, eyes changed to blood red and with a bull like roar, charged at Dante with its drill aiming at his shoulder, Dante without batting an eye dodge the attack by side stepping aside, the Big Daddy's drill punctured the steel wall instead, it was stuck for a second but the creature manages to free itself, with another roar it charges at Dante again.

"Okay big fella, you want a fight?" As soon as the MB5 came close to him, Dante jumped over it and with his rebellion, slashed the back of the Big Daddy, landing a few feet away from it as the MB5 took the hit.

"I'll give you a fight."

As soon as the fight started, Faith snapped to her senses, she immediately got up with Desmond standing behind her, she looked back to see the five guards waiting beside the door, their guns drawn at them, whether it be filled bullets or darts, Faith didn't want to find out.

"Hold it right there!" one guard yelled, "Stay right there and don't resist," they immediately got closer.

Faith looked up to the guards on the railings, they were all focused Dante fighting the monster and not at all looking at either Faith or Desmond, she then looked behind her to see the hidden passage still open, with an idea, she raised both of her hands and slowly walked closer next to Desmond, she slightly bumped into him to get his attention, when he did turn his head towards her, Faith looked at the corner of her eye as her way of pointing towards the hallway, Desmond followed her gaze and nodded in understanding, he didn't trust this woman yet, but he would rather be with someone who isn't pointing guns at him.

Desmond followed Faith's action and raised both of his hands up as well, when two guards came close, they lowered their weapons and attempted to put the two in restraints, however, Faith grabbed the arm that was reaching to her and had the man's entire body turn, she placed his arm behind his back and his front facing the other men in case they were willing to shoot and she would have a shield.

At the same time as she has done this, Desmond pushed the arm away and also had the man's body turn only this time he put pressure around the guardsman's neck by putting his arm around, this all happened in a few seconds and before the three guardsmen that are still standing could respond, Faith, while holding the guardsman, grabbed his gun and started firing at them, since they were wearing bullet proof vest, their life was spared but still fell to floor, stunned.

Faith then pushed the guard she had and shot him, stunning him as well.

Desmond was still holding the other guard in a chokehold and the guard struggled, but soon went limp and fell to unconsciousness, he then pushed the man off of him and ran towards the hidden hallway passage along side Faith.

One of the guardsman from the railings saw the two running, "The two subjects are escaping!" he yelled, the twelve guardsmen stopped looking at the fight and aimed their weapons at Faith and Desmond.

"Fire!"

A rain of bullets was fired upon them, Faith and Desmond would of been filled with many holes if they hadn't reached into hallway in time, the only injury they had was Faith's arm being grazed as well as Desmond's shoulder, but nothing too serious, the two didn't stop running, and soon all lost visual of the two runners.

Dante continued dodging and slashing at the Big Daddy who proved to be a tough a foe as it took every attack and wasn'even slowing down, when Dante wasn't even getting a scratch by him, the Big Daddy's hand was suddenly in sparks, it raised it's hand and shot out lightning at Dante in which hit its mark, Dante was stunned for a second but that gave the Big Daddy enough time to charge again and this time, Dante felt the impact of the drill's side on his chest and was sent flying until he hit a wall, Dante landed on his feet but kneeled down.

He looked up to the Big Daddy who was approaching him slowly, intending to have him captured.

"You're a tough son of a b***h, aren't you."

The Big Daddy only growled a haunting whale sound in response, he reached out hand to grab Dante but instead had a blade went through its hand.

"Well I got news for you, your nothing special!"

Dante forced the sword further in and used his strength to back up the Big Daddy.

"I dealt with plenty of demons that can kick your ass," the monster roar due to the pain it felt in its hand and aimed to stab Dante with its drill, Dante however, ducked and slashed his sword on the Big Daddy's side as he spins gracefully.

"And at least they weren't afraid to show their ugly faces," Dante's taunting had finally enraged the Big Daddy, with a roar, his hand was covered in sparks only this time it was a different kind of spark, instead of blue like before, the lightning it was about to use changed to red.

Dante wasn't fazed by the change of the Big daddy's power, mostly cause he didn't care, he moved in ready to impale his opponent until his sword was intercepted with the massive drill, both side compete to see which strength overpowers the other but this was not the Big Daddy's mission, it grabbed hold of Dante's head, having its palm over Dante's forehead and before he knew it, great pain was felt in Dante as the red electrical energy shock his body.

"What the f***-Ah!" Dante's growl became a yell as his muscles began to weaken and Dante soon fell to one knee, his power suddenly starts to diminish as well as his strength, the Big Daddy didn't let go and continues to fill Dante with great amount of red electricity, its intention of capturing changed to murder.

"Let go of him idiot! You'll kill him!" The scientist man ordered. Dante didn't want to believe it, but he actually felt like he's dying.

"Sh**, I got to get his grip off of me." Dante thought to himself, with his remaining strength, he stabbed the top right of the Big Daddy's eye and it reacted by roaring in pain as it let go of Dante.

Dante was free but out of breath, laying on one knee and his hand placed on the other, it took him too long to move out of the way before the Big Daddy grabbed his neck, the Big Daddy stared at Dante, eyes were blood red except for one, with a roar and out of anger, the Big Daddy threw Dante like a baseball and into the hallway he goes, the same hallway Desmond and Faith went into.

"You had him you dead-minded fool!"

The Big Daddy realized its mistake and lowered its head, whimpering, as it turns to its master.

"Don't just stand there, GET HIM!" the scientist ordered, the Big Daddy snapped out of its self-pity and went after where he threw Dante.

"Hurry up!"

"I'm trying!"

Desmond and Faith tried to pushed the steel doors that was on the other side of the hidden hallway, but the door's weight only had them closing it very slowly, and before they made it half-way, the silver-headed man slid past them on its back and stopped himself.

Desmond was caught off guard from seeing the demon man again but Faith still kept pushing the door, when Faith looked inside the hallway, she saw the many red eyes of the monster, she called out to Desmond, having him to start focusing, he cursed out loud when he sees the monster coming again and pushed the door with all his strength.

The two door, each side has Faith and Desmond, was only an inch close together, they were almost about to seal the entrance until The Big Daddy's huge fingers went through, its strength stopped the two completely, their strength were no match for the rampaging machine but they still kept their ground, the only reason as to how the door didn't just open in an instant was because even the heavy doors was slowing down the Big Daddy. The door started to open again with its head peeking, but before it could go any further, a sword was jammed into another eye of the monster.

"Finding the right glasses must of been a b***, let me help you with that!" Dante growled in rage, his sword furthering into the Big Daddy's eye, it roared in pain, and was soon forced to back away, letting Faith and Desmond to closed the doors completely. The doors automatically locked, and only the sounds of and drilling as the Big Daddy tries to drill its way to them, continuing to let out that blood-lust roar.

When nothing but silence grew right after, Faith and Desmond breathed out a sigh while Dante did more of a huff out of irritation, he didn't like the fact that he almost lost or even killed, he still couldn't figure out what that red energy was, it felt like two of his side, the angel and demon, were both being stabbed by something that was both holy and unholy.

The three was brought out of there thoughts when they realized their surroundings, or more specifically, around each other, Desmond kept his distance, Faith stared at the two in caution, and Dante just eyed the two with little interest.

"So..." Dante started, "Do either of you have any idea on what the hell is going on?"

Desmond, though still very much cautious to Dante, shook his head in response, Faith remained silenced, which was her way of answering that she has no idea either. They were quiet for a short moment, processing on what was going on but no one had no clue whatsoever. It was then Desmond decided to speak up to the hybrid before him.

"Uh..." Desmond caught Dante's attention, "Just...What was that, what are you?" he asked, referring to the power Dante revealed when he and Faith first saw him.

"What, never seen a demon before?" the said-demon smirked.

"That's not helping, what are you?" Faith questioned, she was both irritated and curious about the not human man.

"Hey, I don't have to answer to you," Dante snapped.

"Then your not really helping yourself."

"Look whose talking!" Dante was a foot away from her, he stood his ground while Faith stood hers, neither side faltering, he was already annoyed when Faith did that surprise attack, she's lucky he didn't try and shoot her(If he had Ebony and Ivory that is), though only to scare her off, but it was obvious that this woman is not so easily scared, sure cautious, and Faith was caught off guard and even froze for a moment when she witnessed the unbelievable events that just happened, but Faith isn't just going to quiver in fear.

"Hey guys! Calm down," Desmond stepped in between the two before one started to throw a punch to the other, not sure who would come on top, sure Dante has his inhuman strength but Faith was fast, though he could be too, either way, Desmond had to interfere before it could get any worse. He then turned to face Dante.

"Look, are you one of their experiments or..." Desmond thought that Dante could of been joking, he really wishes that was a joke.

"F*** no, these ***holes got me in my sleep, I put up a good fight though." Dante explained.

He remembered clearly, one night, he was laying on his bed in some abandoned building, waiting for Kat to bring in some pizza, then the next thing he knew, dozens of men barged in and started attacking them, Dante figure that they were the S.W.A.T. team out for Dante's head, but he noticed that they were wearing a uniform that had this weird symbol of a triangle or something on them, Dante didn't pay much mind to it though. He started to fight them but then felt a sharp pain on the side of his neck, it felt like a like a dart, soon Dante's world turned fuzzy, he still kept fighting but his movements became slower.

He remembered that he fell on the ground, face flat, and on the corner of his eye, he could see Kat trying to get to him but the men blocked his sight, he lost all visual before he heard a gunshot. Dante's eyes widen as he remembered what had happened.

"Oh sh**, Kat," Dante whispered to himself, was Kat okay? Did these bastards got her? If they did anything to her, he's going to make them regret it.

"Kat? Whose that?" Desmond asked. Dante just looked away from him and instead looked around his surrounding, looking for a way to get out.

"None of your business," Dante answered, the room around him was smaller than before, there was a cage on the far corner, most likely belonged to the Big guy with the drill, Dante made a mental note to get back at the thing, he then sees another door, hopefully leading to another room.

"Well, unless you want to get capture by those f***ers, I think its time to get out here," Dante said, he didn't really care who the other two were, by the looks of it(And he means Faith), the two could handle themselves, so they weren't his problem.

Desmond and Faith were nowhere near in trusting Dante, they could barely trust each other, one thing they do have to agree though, they have to get out of this place, where ever they are.

Dante walked up to the front door, "You might want to stand back," he told the two. Both were confused as to why Dante would ask that, then remembered what he could do, they did what he told them to do while they observe the Hybrid.

Dante raised his rebellion and brought it down in order to open the door his own way, however, instead of slicing the door open, his sword made impact on the door and bounced off, making him take a step back.

"What the hell?" Dante stared at the door, his sword only dent it, he hadn't realized before, but Dante energy feels drained along with his strength.

"I'm guessing that wasn't supposed to happen," Desmond commented, Dante didn't looked back, he still kept looking at the door then down at his sword.

"Give me a minute," he told them.

"You lost all your powers, didn't you?" Faith guessed, Dante didn't respond for a minute.

"I said give me a minute, it'll come back."

Faith sighed, she had a feeling that the Hybrid used all its energy when he was trying to break free, maybe that was one of the reason she knew she could take him on, she was hoping that the hybrid would cause enough chaos for her to get out quickly but it seems it was too good to be true, "We don't have a minute, they'll be here with that thing and your basically just as strong as us now."

"Well thanks for reminding me Red, I'll be sure to ask more of your b***ing when I need it," Dane told Faith harshly, he was not in a good mood right now and the woman in front of him wasn't helping, not like she was trying to anyway.

"Guys, why don't we just open the door?" Desmond suggested, he walked passed them and turn the knob, only to find out that it was lock, "Well so much for that," Desmond thought to himself.

Faith was now right up at Dante's Face, not caring that he still held his sword, "Well by the look of it your might actually need to hear my 'b***ing', by the way, call me that again, and your going to lose that sword hand of yours."

"I didn't say anything, but your really tempting me into saying it," and before he could, Desmond called them out of their dispute, they both looked directly to where Desmond was and sees him near a vent.

"I think I found a way out, at least out of this room," Desmond pulled off the small door, the vent's size was big enough to fit the three of them if they were to crawl through one at a time. Faith ended the confrontation with Dante and walked towards the vent.

"What a b****, kind of hot though," Dante admitted in his thoughts; But he wasn't going to say it out loud for her pleasure.

The three stood in front of the vent, Faith kneeled down and looked through it, it definitely led somewhere else, where ever it may be, it better not lead them to a room full of those drill handed monsters, not a very comforting thought.

"Ladies first," Desmond said with humor, Faith remained her expressionless look as she went in, Desmond looked up at Dante who just shrugged, indicating that he didn't mind going last, whether its because he wanted to be as far away from Faith as possible, Desmond didn't ask, Their introduction so far has been a bad one, and Desmond was feeling edgy to know the man(Or what ever the hell he is) name Dante was going follow behind him they hadn't even said their names, it was obvious to Desmond, that the three of them would not get along very well.

Faith was in front while Desmond who was following mid-way behind her and Dante following last, every now and then they would come across another vent doors but Faith suggested it be best to keep to going since there were guards on high alert running around the hallway, Desmond didn't argued while Dante remained silent but agreed as well, he was powerless right at the moment, he didn't know for how long, but hopefully not too long so that he could tear this place apart.

Dante looked at the two he was apparently letting them lead the way, the woman's name he didn't know and already he could tell she wasn't very fond of him, whether it was because of what he is or something else, he didn't let it bother him. As For the guy in the white hood, Dante didn't really talk to him much so he couldn't be sure what to think of him. One thing Dante knows for sure, and that is to find Kat, and kill the bastard for knocking him out.

"So, Red, you know where we're going?" Dante questioned the woman with the red glove whose name he still didn't know.

"Anywhere that doesn't have guards with guns waiting to shoot at us with, and stop calling me red." the runner answered.

"Well might as well call you something, unless you prefer a different name." Dante said, thinking of plenty of names already.

The runner didn't say anything, but she had a scowled look on her after she heard what Dante said, she still didn't believe he was a demon, but he sure acts like one.

"What is you're name, anyway?" This time it was the man in the white hood who asked.

Faith thought it would be necessary to at least have their names known since all of them are in the same situation, but that still doesn't help Faith in trusting the other two, Desmond seemed okay but she still knew nothing of him and as for the silver hair man...she didn't need to explain herself why she didn't like the in-human punk, he reminded her too much of Jackknife.

She let out a deep breath, deciding to answer their question.

"...It's Faith, I already caught on both of your names so no need to remind me," she answered.

"How? I never told you mine." Desmond said, suspicious as to how Faith did know his name.

"When I found you, there was this clipboard that had your name on it while you were unconscious, as for the 'demon' over there,he said his name out loud so I already know his," Faith explained.

Desmond nodded in understanding, though he still couldn't exactly trust the woman name Faith, the irony there he realized, he was also surprised to find out that that was her name, it shouldn't be a surprised to know someone's name but to Desmond, that name kind of suits her for some reason.

"Glad to hear you heard my name, and what about you?" Dante referred to Desmond.

"My name's Desmond," he responded.

"Alright, Desmond, so what's your story?" Dante asked, Desmond looked back wondering what he was talking about.

"How'd you end up here?"

Desmond thought for a moment, "I uh...I can't really remember."

Dante didn't really believed that and was about to ask him again, but he then saw the discouraged Desmond had on his face, that he was trying hard to remember.

"Okay, what was the last thing you remembered?" Dante asked.

Desmond thought for a moment, "I was...helping my friends."

Okay, now Dante knows that Desmond is hiding something, but he figured to leave it alone at that, he has his own problems in finding his friend.

The three walked past another vent door, through its metal blinds they can see two guards talking to each other.

"What if the escaped subjects free the rest, We don't have the power to stop all of them at once!"

Faith stopped without giving the heads up which resulted in Desmond bumping into her, he was about to ask why she stopped until Faith placed her finger on her lip then pointed towards the guards, wanting to know what they were talking about. The three listened closely, hoping that what ever their saying could somehow clear up their situation.

"Calm down! This whole place is in lockdown, that includes every prisoner we still have, if they go anywhere near them, they'll be down before they know it,"

Dante had to scoffed at the man's confidence, they may have caught him off guard once, but he's going to make sure that they won't be as lucky as before.

"That's easy for you to say, but what about that hybrid running lose?! Remember what happened last time a freak managed to escape," the first guard said, clearly in panic.

"Of course I remember, but we proved to better than him, we knew its weakness and he was down before he knew what was happening," the second guard said.

"He ate half of our men!" the first guard yelled, emphasizing the word 'ate'.

Both Faith and Desmond flinched when the word 'eaten' was mention while Dante just raised an eyebrow.

"I still remember that thing killing the poor guy after mentioning his sister," the first guardsman added as he shuddered.

"I was there too you know? And speaking of that monster, he's in our control now, you should be relief to know that we got a living weapon on our side," the second guard reassured.

The first guard still didn't seem convinced.

"Sure, after for like three months, five if your counting on the time it took to put him back together," the guard then sighed, "But I guess you're right."

The second guard nodded slightly, "Good, now come on, just talking about the freak made me realize that we had to be as far away as possible if they're planning on using him."

The first guard didn't argue, the two then headed to the opposite direction from where Faith, Desmond and Dante were heading.

Faith tried to control her agitation which she was doing well to hide, Desmond looked just as equally distress, while Dante seemed more interested in finding out who this 'Living Weapon' was.

"Great, first a 'demon'," Desmond pointed at Dante, "Now a f***ing cannibal, what's next? Is Dracula going to show up any time soon?"

"Don't try to jinx it," Faith said as she continues to crawl through the vent, with Desmond and Dante following.

"I wouldn't mind dealing with this guy, just as soon as I get my powers back," Dante said.

Faith turned her head to look at Dante, "Until then, maybe, you shouldn't try to cause any trouble that could get us killed, you got that demon boy?"

Dante was about to retort until Desmond stepped in, "Look, let's just focus on getting out of here, the faster we get out, the less likely we'll ever see each other again, agreed?"

Faith and Dante let the words sunk in and then looked at each other, "Agreed," they said in unison.

Faith kicked the bar door and jumped down into an empty hallway follow by the white hoodie man and the so called hybrid. The hallway they were in had a long distance in their left and on their right there was a corner they could turn to, and in front of them was what looked to be windows but covered with shades of metal that was stretched from the ceiling to the floor.

Faith studied the covered windows in front of her and saw a button on the wall, most likely to uncover the large window, she walked up to it with Desmond and Dante wondering what she was doing, well, more like Desmond was more curious than Dante.

Faith was in front of the button, in her vision, it glowed red, in most circumstances, red would of been a bad thing, buts its always been the color Faith favored in seeing, maybe it has something to do with growing up in a city of White and Blues, sure the city has many colors though they rarely show, Red was the only color that stand out, and it looks as if only Faith would noticed it.

She shook out of her thought, hoping that this button wouldn't set off an alarm, she banged it on the side of her clenched fist, and sounds of gears turning was heard as the steel blinds began to vibrate.

"Let's see where we are," Faith said mostly to herself, sure enough, the blinds moved up revealing the open world outside, but what Faith was hoping to see buildings instead saw the last thing she would expect to see, and she wasn't the only one. Desmond stared at the glass window in utter shock, what ever he was trying to say was lost in his mind as he took in the sight before him. Dante stood beside him and looked slightly surprised to see what was before him.

A landscape of red dirt stretched beyond the horizon as dawn was slowly coming, there were shrubs and cactuses spread across the wasteland, and in the edge of the horizon, they could see trees that stretched from left to right.

Desmond was able to find his voice again."We're...in the middle of a f***ing desert! He stared at the passing tumbleweed

"Nice view," Dante commented on the rising sun, ignoring Desmond's panic look.

"This isn't happening, this isn't happening," Faith repeated, she rubbed her eyes, making sure to see if what she was seeing was real, to her dismay, she wasn't going crazy, she was in a desert, not a single building to which she can recognized was in sight. As Faith tries to think clearly, she caught sight of something red in the corner of her eye.

An arrow painted red on the wall behind her far from the vent she and the other two came through, it was pointing to a direction down the hallway, Faith went to investigate further and saw that there were writings on it.

"This Way" it said, Desmond and Dante saw what Faith was looking at and walked up beside her.

Dante touched the arrow and the red paint stick to his fingers, indicating it was still fresh. "Want a bet that this might not lead to a trap?" he asked to Desmond and Faith.

The two looked at the writings in suspicion, but decided to follow it anyway, looking for any distraction they could do to escape the view that is the desert, it wasn't as if Desmond had never seen what the desert was like, he just didn't think he would be out this long, and in Faith's view, she was both shocked and amazed to see a whole land of dirt that isn't covered in concrete or in any other bland color over it, she's no where near the City, and a small part of her admits it, that's what frightens her.

The three followed where the arrow was pointing at, they turned to a corner and another arrow was painted as well did it have more writings.

"You are not where you think you are, but you are where you're from."

Neither of the three understood what that meant, it almost sounded like the ranting of a mad were then led to a door with a letter X painted over it, it's padlock broken leaving the door unlock and on the door there was a sign that reads Weapons Room.

"Sweet, wonder if they put my girls in here?" Dante said, Faith pushed cautiously opens the door as Desmond offers to look in the room, he was surprised to see the size of the room then told Faith and Dante that it was clear. They entered the room only to find out it was more than just a room. Dozens of shelves full of weapons and armors were seen across.

The three decided to split up, Dante started to search around for his weapons, Faith continues to follow the trail of red drops of paint and Desmond went off to see the many weapons these people have, what did they call themselves? The Control? The weapons he sees here didn't looked like the ones every guard has, each was different and unique in their own way, there was this oddly shaped curved purple gun that looked almost alien, steel swords as well was there a great sword, there was even a bow made out of branches and some arrows, he felt a sudden nostalgia in them but then realized it was due to the memory of Connor that made him feel that way.

Just as he was debating on whether he should prepare himself in case he faces those guards again, which he has a feeling he will soon, something shinning caught his eye, when he furthered inspect what was shining and found a glove made of leather, what shone however was the blade it was sticking out, Desmond picked the glove with its hidden blade.

"Huh, this actually looks exactly like..." Desmond stopped, the feel of the glove was all to familiar to Desmond, but not because this was his own blade, he knows very well who this glove and its hidden blade belongs to, and it shouldn't be in this good of a condition.

"Altair's Blade," Desmond said, he then saw another blade peeking out under some armor made of leather, he moved the armor and revealed another glove and its own hidden blade only this one seemed more advance than the blade Desmond holds, he picked it up and felt another feeling of nostalgia towards it, though he knows these weren't exactly his own nostalgia.

"Ezio's Blade," this was wrong, it could of been replicas, but Desmond has been in the memories of his ancestors, he felt and experienced their memories, he remembered what they thought, felt, smell, basically, he experienced their life, and it was because of this, Desmond without a doubt in his mind, knows that the hidden blade he holds were worn by his very ancestors, these were the real deal, the originals, so they should of been at least tarnished, the blade should at least been rusty but instead, it looked brand new, But how is that even possible?

While he fumbles through the two hidden blades. Dante searches for his weapons, he goes through the section that had nothing rifles, pistols, and one Gatling gun, when he reached to the end of section, he's eye caught a glimpse of something, with one look, he let out a smile of recognition.

"There you are," Dante said, he reached out two of his pistols, "Ebony, Ivory," he nodded at his two pistols, "Missed you girls."

"Of course a guy like you would name his guns," Faith said, Dante watches her through the shelves as Faith follows the trail of spilled red paint.

"And of course a girl like you would still run her mouth," Dante said, putting away his two pistols.

"Look whose talking," Faith said, before any more words that would changed to insults were said, Faith saw ahead of her in which caught her interest and it was not a weapon or armor did she focused on, she walked on with Dante wondering what she was looking at and Desmond coming behind, they all reached to the end of the room where there was desk with what looks to be a tape recorder and a small key beside it, but that was not what caught their attention.

On the wall over the desk in front of them was a roughly painted of a woman with short dark brown hair wearing a blue jacket, she held a red rose as tears were streaming down over her cheeks from her closed eyes.

After looking at the painting on the wall, Faith looked back at the tape recorder and the small key beside it, she pocketed the key and grabbed the tape recorder, on the side of it there were writings on it.

Audio Diary-Elizabeth

Elizabeth, was this the name of the woman in the painting before them, wanting to know more, Faith pressed the red button and the audio diary started to play, and a voice of a young woman was heard in the Audio Diary.

"Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed in seeing the world, Paris was the first city I wanted to visit."

"But I spent my whole life in this tower, so my dream was just that, a dream. I thought that I would never get a chance."

"Until I met Booker, he helped me escape, and for the very first time in my life, I felt alive and free."

Desmond sympathizes the woman in the recorder as he listens, he knew what its like to be locked up for most of your life

"As we work our way to get out of the city of Columbus, I made sure to as helpful as I can be."

"But what I'm really capable of doing, is that I can open doors to other worlds,"

"Wait, what did she just say?" Desmond asked. The tape continues.

"With every door I see, there's always difference between the world I live in and what the world would of been like."

"But now I see a whole new universe in every door; each universe with its own history, its own rules and even its own people."

"Sometimes I wondered what the people were like there."

"I had the ability to not only travel to their worlds, but to bring them into mine or others."

"It's possible; But I wouldn't dare affect the balance of their world."

"I would be dragging them away from their destiny, dooming their world ."

"Just like me being in this new world and those around me."

"If you're afraid of God, you can't help but wondered how your sins can be redeemed.

"I'm afraid the things I've done are beyond forgiving."

The audio diary ended, no one spoke for a moment as the confusion each one had was now replaced with utter shock and fear, well except for one at least.

"Huh, another world, well that's new," Dante said.

"How the f*** are you so calm about this," Desmond asked as he rubbed his head due to a headache.

"I've been dragged to into limbo as many times as killing the demons who dragged me there, trust me, it's going to take more than being on a different planet for me to bat an eye," Although he said that, Dante did frown at this new information.

Faith had her back on one of the shelves with her arms crossed, she was doing very well to hide her agitation, if being in the middle of nowhere didn't break her cool-which was shaken-then being in a whole new world is making a crack, but even with this enlightenment, forget the wasteland or the new world itself, Faith was more worried about her sister, was she safe or did the people here kidnapped her as well.

Faith looked up to the two men before her, they obviously had friends and families they have to get back to, even the 'demon' punk said something about someone named Kat, they are all in the same situation with only one goal, they have to get back home, and so Faith made a decision.

"Well," Faith started, getting the attention of both men in front of her, "If that girl, Elizabeth, was the one who brought us here, maybe she could take us back."

"It's a start at least, but how do we find her," Desmond questioned. Faith thought for a moment as she turns away from the other two, that's when she saw another arrow painted on the wall, Desmond and Dante followed her gaze.

There was another message written below the arrow, "Free the Caged Bird" it reads.

"Looks like whoever is leaving these messages is leading us to that woman," Dante said.

Faith studied the freshly painted arrow on the wall, who ever is leaving these messages is doing it swiftly and cautiously, like a rat, without any more hesitation, Faith, Desmond, and Dante followed the arrow that directed them out of the Weapons Room and down the hallway, following the many messages left behind by this Ratman Faith decided to call.

"ELIZABETH!"

Elizabeth couldn't help but smiled as she heard the Phase yell in anger, she couldn't help but feel proud of herself. She felt a strong grip on her wrist as she was pulled out of her cage and was face to face with a red faced scientist. Seeing the man in anger as well as the panic he had in his eyes, Elizabeth felt proud of herself.

"What's the matter?" Elizabeth asked with fake innocence, "You look like you lost three lions, did you?" Elizabeth was thrown into the ground.

"You have no idea what you have just done," he tone was cruel, but the cruelty Phase had no longer scared Elizabeth, if anything, she felt as if she was booker.

"What? You think that I wouldn't move my piece in our little chess match?"

"THIS ISN'T A GAME!"

"OF COURSE IT'S NOT!" Elizabeth matched Phase's volume, at last, the little bird is starting to sing.

"And it's YOU who has no idea what you've done," Elizabeth touched her forehead, "I can feel it, the bridges I've made are crumbling, with each person I let you bring in, their world are being affected, damaged," Elizabeth stood up. "But no more, I will not let you bring in any more!"

"Elizabeth, booker will-"

"I know Booker is dead!" Even as Elizabeth said that, a part of her doubted that, in her heart she still knew Booker was alive somehow, but she had to face facts, she knew Booker very well, he would of came, for him not to come would mean he's in trouble or he's dead, if that's the case, then Elizabeth would need to stand on her own for now on.

Phase just stood there, if Elizabeth thought that he couldn't get any redder, he did, but only for a second until he cools down, Elizabeth had a feeling on what was coming next.

"With everyone that worked here, I was the only one who would say your name," Phase then reached into his pocket and pulled out a controller that was very much familiar to Elizabeth, "I was the only one who was willing to make your new life here comfortable, but now...you just blew it." He placed his thumb on the red button.

"Go ahead," Elizabeth challenged, ready to accept her fate, "Just get it over with."

Phase then chuckled, "Oh Elizabeth..." he cooed, before he pressed the button and massive level of sock pain was felt in Elizabeth's head.

"Even I wouldn't be that so kind," Phase said as Elizabeth clutched her head, she screamed in agony.

She fell to her knees as the pain continues, this wasn't in its maximum level, Phase obviously wanted her to suffer, as a punishment she could only guess, she then felt her forehead on the cold floor, the pain intensifying, it went on for minutes, Elizabeth's scream echoed the room before the pain suddenly stopped. Her vision blurred as her head screamed in pain to the point where she would almost black out, and before she did, she saw in the corner of her eye Phase standing there, both of his hands were up, Elizabeth's vision were so blurry that she couldn't see the gun pointed at the back of the scientist's head.

"Why don't you give me that remote before I decided to pull the trigger," was what she heard, all muffled but she can clearly state that that was a man's voice.

Elizabeth looked to where the two guards were and saw a man wearing a white hoodie and the woman she remembered seeing a while ago standing over the two bodies of the guardsmen.

Phase slowly raised , his right hand that hold the controller and the silver hair gunman took it, "There," he said, "You can just let me go, I'm not a threat." Dante backed off but not because he was willing to Phase go, but because he was letting someone else teaching him a lesson, and that someone was the woman with the red glove.

"Oh don't worry, I'm going to make sure you're not," said the woman with short dark hair, she approached Phase and before Elizabeth could see anything, she blacked out but could still hear movements, she heard a body hitting the ground, Phase's plead which turn to a cry for mercy, and then Elizabeth heard something snapped as well did she hear Phase's cry, Elizabeth knew it was wrong to enjoy other's suffering, but when that someone was just as bad as that scientist, Elizabeth didn't fought the urge to feel pleased.

It's been a while since Elizabeth dreamed, not that she doesn't get any sleep, the scientist who called themselves the Control made sure that she would be well rested enough for her to open more tears easily just by drugging her, and every time she would be forced to sleep she would dream, a dream where she constantly hears those in prison scream, trying to fight what ever is holding them down, she could sense their confusion, she could feel their anger, their constant questioning of their whereabouts and situation, their helplessness, their fear, Elizabeth is filled with endless amount of guilt when ever she would dream of this, because she knew that The Control were able to get to these people was because of her.

But now she's in a different dream, a dream where she can't hear those constant cries, a dream where Elizabeth walks down a hallway, she looked through the window she saw the familiar city of her home, Columbia, in ruins, and instead of being in the sky, the city was in under water, Elizabeth should of been somewhat shocked to see Columbia at the bottom of the sea, but for some reason, she couldn't help but feel the familiarity of it all.

Elizabeth continues to walk down the hallway and when she looked towards the end of the hallway, she could see a figure of a man with his back turn but she could see that he had light brown hair and wears a leather jacket with brown pants, the figure was all too familiar to Elizabeth.

"Booker?" Elizabeth squinted her eyes to see if the figure far in front of her was who she really think it is. There was no doubt about it, it was Booker, even from the back Elizabeth knew it was him.

"Booker!" She ran towards him, happy to see him, when she got close enough, Elizabeth reached to grab his shoulder, but the moment she touched him, the man she thought to be Booker disappeared in a flash, no signs of him ever being there.

"No...please, Booker come back!" Elizabeth pleaded, she searched franticly for him but there was no one else but her. Tears were beginning fall on her cheeks as she searches for her companion, her friend, the one man who would help her get out of Columbia.

"I can't do this, I can't do this alone, please booker, I need you!" Elizabeth fell to her knees when she founded nothing, she cried as she sat there, lost and afraid, she did not know what to do without Booker, she was completely alone, and that was what broke Elizabeth's heart.

"You're not alone" Elizabeth jumped when she heard a voice of a young woman.

"I'm just as trap as you are," Elizabeth looked to her left and saw her reflection on the glass window, but when she looked closer, she realized that she wasn't looking at her reflection at all, what was supposed to be her reflection on the glass window was instead a young woman, a blue dress much like hers but had a white gown along with it, she had long hair that was as black as the night, and unlike Elizabeth's blue eyes, the woman in the glass had green very-tired looking eyes.

"Who are you?" Elizabeth questioned the young woman in the glass window.

"Someone like you, although I'm more of a caged butterfly," The accent of her voice, Elizabeth could tell, sounded British, much like the Lutece twins, Elizabeth heard what the woman said and begin to cry again, for her to face one of the victims that The Control had in their grasp makes her feel all the more guilty. To her surprise however, the young woman in simply rolled her eyes.

"Alright that's enough, you're not getting anywhere if you're going to cry a river," The raven hair woman said rather coldly, like how a mother would scold her child. Elizabeth wiped her tears away but the guilt remains.

"I am so sorry, it's my fault, I brought you to them." Elizabeth said it with shame.

"Yes you did, and against you're will let's not forget," It was hard to tell, but the woman was trying to ease the guilt Elizabeth had, as if she could feel her emotions or read her mind. Elizabeth shook her head.

"I should of fought back sooner, I lost count on how many tears I opened, for them to kidnapped those people," Elizabeth said.

"Yes, well, I haven't stopped counting, and if you really want to know, it's best not to ask," the young woman stated.

"What?"

"Forget about it," the woman simply said. Elizabeth was just about the ask more about what she meant until the woman stopped her.

"Listen, I can't waste any more time, I'm here to help you."

"Help me, how?"

"By getting you and those who've managed to escape back home," the woman explained.

"I don't understand, I'm not saying I don't want to, but I can't open any tears without them...forcing me do it, and even if I can, something's preventing me not to," It was true, ever since day one, Elizabeth lost her ability to open any tears of her own by will, it was one of the reason why she couldn't escape. "and I still don't know what's causing it."

"Luckily for you, I do," Elizabeth looked at the woman in the glass window in shock.

"They have this contraption they named it as The Core, it's the source of what's holding you back and its what's been keeping those in prisoned in a weak state, destroy it and the one guarding it, and not only should you have your powers back, but you'll be able to free the rest of us," the woman explained.

Elizabeth stared at the woman in disbelief, she truly thought that she may never escape from the Control's men and their grasp and if she were, it would of been in a body bag, and now here was this woman telling her that there is still hope to make things right.

However, The woman sighed.

"It's a long way however, and there's no doubt about it hat you will face obstacles that will kill you, that's why you can't go alone," she explained, Elizabeth understood what the woman was saying.

"You're asking me to travel with those three people," Elizabeth said, the woman nodded.

"You and the other three were able to resist just by chance, the rest of us weren't so lucky, so basically, since your not in chains or in cages you and the others are the only hope we got," the woman said. Elizabeth suddenly felt a little bit of pressure in those words, but quickly calmed herself down, if what she's saying is true, then Elizabeth will do whatever she can to free those who are still in prisoned.

"Alright, I'll do it," Elizabeth said, though she sounded timid at that point, she was prepared to face this journey.

"Then it's settle, first things first, you and the others must get out of this facility in any way you can, once you get out, search through the sky," the woman said. Elizabeth looked at her in questioning.

"The sky?" Elizabeth asked.

This contraption...it's in the tower you spent most of your life in, in Columbia." Elizabeth eyes were widen.

"Columbia? I'm still in my world?" Elizabeth asked. The woman looked troubled for a second, trying the find the right words.

"Well, yes and no," was the woman's answer, Elizabeth was perplexed by her answer and the woman, like reading her mind, held her hand up to prevent from her asking any further.

"It's best to see it for yourself to understand," the woman then looked behind her as if she just heard something, she then looked back at Elizabeth, "Sorry, that's all the time I have, I have to go." The woman turned her heels and started to walk away, slowly fading. Elizabeth however, didn't want her to go just yet, she had so many questions, like what is The Control's purpose, and more importantly, how she knew the life Elizabeth had.

"Wait! How did you know I lived in a tower, I certainly didn't remember ever telling you." Elizabeth questioned, The woman stopped, looking down at her feet as if she was ashamed.

"Let's just say, we both need to seek redemption," she answered, "Goodbye Elizabeth."

But before the woman could vanish from Elizabeth's sight, Elizabeth had to ask this one last question.

"What's your name?" This stopped the woman from fading, after a minute, she faced Elizabeth again.

"If I tell you, you better not forget it," she strictly said, Elizabeth wasn't expecting that but nodded anyway. The woman's feature soften as she decided to answer Elizabeth's question.

"Alice Liddell, just call me Alice."

A blinding light was all Elizabeth for a minute until her vision was clear again, she felt the floor on her back, and standing right beside her was a man with silver dark hair wearing a red coat and a sword on his back, a short dark hair woman wearing a red glove and a tattoo on her left eye, and a man with short cut hair wearing a white hoodie. When they saw Elizabeth opening her eyes, the man with silver hair walked closer and knelt down.

"Rise and shine sleeping beauty," he said, Elizabeth could see the woman's face turn to a frown.

"Back off creep," the woman shoved the man away, then focused her attention back to Elizabeth, "Hey, you okay?" she asked.

Elizabeth nodded, she then sat up while rubbing her temple due to her by far the worst seizure she had ever gotten from Dr. Phase, and speaking off him, Elizabeth was able to see the doctor on the floor, in a position in which Elizabeth could only describe as painful, with many of his limbs facing the wrong way.

"Who..." Elizabeth started, as she stares in wonderment at her rescuers, "Who are you people?"

"Funny how you don't know," the man in the black coat started, "Since you're the one who brought us here."

He looked at Elizabeth in judgment, which Elizabeth accepted as she looked away. The woman in the red glove gave the man a cold stare.

"Don't listen to him, my name's Faith," the woman, Faith, introduced herself, she then helped Elizabeth to her feet, her headache now less intense but still throbbing. The man in the white hoodie was also beside her, helping her up as well.

"I'm Desmond," the man also introduced himself, Elizabeth nodded at him then looked at the man in the black coat.

"Dante," he said, revealing his name.

"Elizabeth," Elizabeth introduced herself.

Faith noticed chain around Elizabeth's neck with the symbol of a triangle and four circles, there was a key hole and Faith made a guess that the key she had would fit, who ever left this key obviously wanted to whoever found it, find Elizabeth, "Here, let me get that off," Faith placed the key in the keyhole and it unlocked itself. The chain fell to the flow and Elizabeth, though stunned at her apparent freedom, was relief and rubbed her neck that had a red imprint around it.

"Thank you," Elizabeth thanked, "All of you."

"No problem, if we hadn't found that tape recorder of you and following those painted directions, we might of never even thought of coming here," Desmond explained.

"Tape recorder?" Elizabeth questioned, Faith nodded.

"An audio diary, of you talking about-"

"How you dragged us here," Dante chimed in. Faith almost had enough of the hybrid.

"Would you shut up about that," she said to Dante.

"No, he's right," Elizabeth admitted, "I open portals for them, so that they can get to you." Elizabeth looked down in shame, Faith and Desmond saw her apologetic look as well did Dante, he then understood how she was forced into this.

"So, you can actually do that?" Desmond asked. Elizabeth nodded but then she frowned

"But, I can't now," she said. Dante didn't like the sound of that.

"You can't or you won't? he asked, more like a statement than it is a question.

"I can't" Elizabeth said. She then sighed, and begin to recite what the woman Alice told her, "There's this contraption called The Core, it's what's been affecting my powers, as long as that thing remains in one piece, I can't use my powers by will, so I can't send you all back home," Elizabeth watched the three's saddened features, her guilt becoming stronger by the minute, she had the power to send them all back to their home worlds and she can't do it. "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry," Elizabeth apologizes.

Dante looked up to see her in genuine guilt in not being able to send them back home, he then sighed, he figure that if Kat was where he is, then maybe he could still try and find her, so as soon as he finds Kat, he might as well help Elizabeth if she was the one who can send him back to his world.

"Alright so, if I destroy this thing, The Core, you'll get your powers back?" Dante questioned, Elizabeth nodded.

"Sounds simple enough, where is it?" he asked.

"Nowhere, since you not going anywhere," the four freed prisoners quickly turned to the source of the voice. A scientist who Elizabeth recognized as Dr. Harred stood in front of the open doors with five guards behind him. "Rodents like all of you will only end up hurting themselves," Dr. Harred said.

"I believe its time to return to your cages." Dante smirked at the man's boldness.

"Just try it pal," Dante challenged, Dr. Harred just simply scoffed.

"I won't even have to try and lift a finger," ashe said that, a very familiar figure began to show itself from behind them, Dante was eager to see the Big Daddy again while the rest didn't look as excited.

"Hey there Tiny, ready for round two?" Dante pulled out his Rebellion and pointed at the Big Daddy who responded with a low growl. Dr. Harred waved his hand and shook his head.

"Sorry, but MB5 is actually here for those two," the scientist pointed at Faith and Desmond. They started to back away along with Elizabeth who looked at the two with worry. Dante walked in front of them, blocking the Control's men view.

"Your going have to get through me first," Dante said, The three behind him were surprised to witness his action, Faith herself was genuinely shock to see the punk hybrid defending them. Dante looked to see Faith's reaction.

"What? Surprise to see I got a nice side, come on Red, have a little 'faith' in me why don't you?" Dante said with humor.

"Don't worry," Dr. Harred started, getting Dante's attention, "We have a playmate just for you," with that said, everyone inside the room heard noises coming from the ceiling, scratches as well as footsteps were heard above them, then for a moment, it was silent, Dante feeling a tough foe coming, Desmond and Faith know very much that something bad that was out of their league was about to happen, and Elizabeth just stood there, fearing and yet wondering who was making those noises.

The ceiling was then broken through, a figure fell to the floor and landed on his feet, dust surrounded the figure, and only his shadow was seen through the dirty mist, when it started to clear, Dante, Faith, Desmond and Elizabeth were able to see what the man before them looked like.

He wore a dark jacket, blue jeans and a brown hood over his head, he slowly starts to get up and his head picked up, revealing his cold, dead, trance-like blue eyes, his gaze sends chills to the spines of Faith, Desmond, and Elizabeth, while Dante didn't seem as nervous, in fact, he was only wondering who this appeared to be human is.

"Let me introduce to you, our Living Weapon," Dr. Harred said, the new mysterious man arms was then surrounded by thin black tentacles, Dante watched with interest while the other three behind stared in shock to see his hands transformed into massive claws.

"Subject number 5, Alex Mercer."
