The prefect hadn´t heard anything about him since that day and even though she was concerned at first, she decided to forget about everything that happend. It would be the best for her. But anyway she couldn´t keep herself from thinking about it. Maybe her words had been to harsh.
Someone knocked on the door and Kyoya didn´t even bother to look up. After all she was absolutely sure it would be Kusakabe again because he kept bothering her with questions about the school festival. Usually she kept an eye on everything during the school festival but at the moment she couldn´t get herself to seriously think about maid cafes and some sort of theater and shows. At the moment she felt more like canceling every kind of festival but since it was a school tradition it was impossible.
„Come in."
She finally said, tired of waiting fort he person to enter the room without an invitation.

„Uhm … Hibari-san...?"
Now Kyoya had to look up. This soft and shy voice obviously didn´t belong to her second in command. Instead a young girl was desk. She watched the walking over to the desk, watching the floor more carefully than the prefect. Her purple hair was falling into her face nearly covering the black eyepatch she wore over her right eye. Her hands were tangled as if she was extremly nervous. It was Chrome Dokuro. The black haired eyes twitched.
„What do you want?"
She asked in a rude tone. The arcobaleno baby asked fort hat girl to be accepted as a student of Namimori Middle School but that didn´t mean Kyoya felt some kind of responsibility. For a moment she decided the girl was hear to talk about her classes idea for the school festival, but then she was sure that wasn´t true. The prefect couldn´t prevent herself from think about a certain someone once she saw her pineapple shaped hairstyle and at the moment it was her least favorite thing tot hink of.
„I … just wanted … to ask you for a favor."
The purple haired girl said and her voice was getting lower with every word and it wasn´t easy to understand her. She seemed afraid of Kyoya. Probably she thought the prefect would throw her out without listening or even beat her up.
„A favor?"
The prefect raised an eyebrow watching the girl suspiciously.
„It´s … about … Mukuro-sama..."
Chrome stuttered.
„I don´t care about him."
Kyoya didn´t give her the opportunity to end her sentece. Instead she stood up, walked around the table and went over to the girl. The black haired grabbed the smaller girls arm and pulled her towards the door. She didn´t want tot hink about him, she just wanted to forget!
„But … but he disappeared!"
Tears were building in the younger girls eyes and Kyoya stopped from a moment. Disappeared. Did she just say ...
„Why did you come to me?"
The raven couldn´t look onto her.
„Please. I beg you. If you know anything about Mukuro-samas disapperance. Please tell me!"
The illusionist girl pleaded and she seemed really worried. Almost panicing.
„Why should I know?"
Kyoya still avoided to look into the girls direction.
„Because … he was talking about you … the day he vanished … and then he said he´d go on a journey and he said goodbye! And he didn´t return! Noone knows where he is."
„Get out of here..."
The prefect said. Her voice got somehow toneless as she shove the girl out of her office. Ignoring her attempts to talk to her.
„Please! Hibari-san!"

Chrome begged again but the prefect closed the door right in front of her.
She was waiting for a moment leaning against the closed door until she found herself sitting on the floor, pulling her legs near and resting her head on her knees.
Why was she crying?
Her tears dried soon but she still stayed there for a couple of hours. Sitting on the floor and blocking the only way into the room. Kusakabe came over one time but she didn´t answer tot he knock on the door, therefore he left again. After a while she decided it wouldn´t get her anyway to sit around here all day and sooner or later she´d have to think about what she should do now. Her choices were cut down. Either she´d ignored that thing or she´d proof if Chrome told the truth and he really disappeared. At first she wasn´t sure what to do. Was it weak to check on him? But Chrome wasn´t the person to lie about something that important.
Finally she couldn´t take it anymore and got up. She left the room and the school and without really thinking about what she did, she walked through the town to Kokuyo Land and entered the empty and uninviting entrance hall. Something didn´t feel right. Maybe she should have listened to him … or at least she shouldn´t have told him to disappear. But now it was too late anyway. Slower than the last time she walked through the rundown building towards the room he was always sitting in. But as she walked in there, he was nowhere seen. Just like the last time but with a small difference. This time he didn´t appear out of nowhere to surprise her. She waited for quiet a while and somewhere deep in her heart she hoped he´d just appear behind her, laughing about her worries, but he didn´t.
Slowly she walked over to the worn-out couch and as she came closer she noticed something was lying there. It was the long black coat she´d left here the last time. He was still here … like he´d just wait for his owner to return every second. But clearly he wouldn´t come back.
At first Kyoya kept starring at the coat, then she grabbed it and decided to hold it dear. It was the only thing that blue haired idiot left after all. For a while she stayed there silently, watching the coat.

It took another hour of silently sitting there until she decided to go back. He obviously wasn´t here and it seemed like he wouldn´t come back just like that. Instead he had listened to her wish and disappeared. For a moment she wasn´t sure if she should leave the coat here. It wasn´t hers but on the other side Mukuro wouldn´t need him if he wasn´t here anyway. At the end she decided to take it along … for whatever reason.
Then she could hear something from outside the room. A voice. Someone talking on the hallway. She hesitated for a moment but then she walked over to the door. There was a slight hope it would be him after all, but she quickly noticed it wasn´t. Instead his dubious gang members were standing outside. The girl draw her tonfa as if she expected them to attack her without any kind of warning.
„It´s the duck!"
The blonde boy said and Kyoya twitched annoyed. She was no duck and somehow she thought he knew it and tried to mock her. A thing she absolutely hated.
„He said we´re not allowed to do anything to her if she comes here."
The guy in glasses said and the prefect was surprised for a moment. He knew she´d come here?
„But he´s not here!"
The smaller boy replied. Obviously he wanted a fight. Maybe revenge for the last time but the black haired shook his head. Instead he turned and started to walk away without any kind of reaction towards the prefect.
„Duck! If you did anything to him I´ll kill you!"
The blonde said and quickly followed his friend leaving a confused girl.
„I´m not a duck you idiots..."
She said to herself as both of them had vanished.
Then she left Kokuyo Land still carrying the coat and walking though Namimori. Her feet finding the way on her own as her mind was thinking about everything. Probably that was the reason she wasn´t prepared for what happened. Suddenly she felt something heavy on the back of her head and the world around her went all blurry then black and she lost consciousness.
The black coat was falling to the ground as its carrier did.

I´m sorry it took that long. There´re happening a lot of things and my beta reader is really busy. Therefore this chapter might have bad grammar and spelling mistakes because I´m really bad at english. Please try to ignore it.
