Code leaped down from the rocky ledge and gracefully landed on her feet in front of Law. Her expression completely blank and unreadable as opposed to Law's more stern and serious facial expression.

They stand in tense silence in the open field, a grassy open space created by Code herself using her own powers. The ships and many other buildings had surrounded them, courtesy of Law's abilities.

It's just the two of them now. No reinforcements, no interference, no Straw Hats, no Marines and no Donquixote Pirates. Just them, an open space and their hands on the hilt of their weapons. It's a battle field.

Neither of them move, not even a muscle. Their breathing were silent but focused and calm and their muscles were relaxed.

"I never wanted it to come to this." Law was the first to break the silence.
