Hey I was think of the next chapter being only a flashback one for like everyone so tell me what you guys think of it and yeah, I'm still kind of debating on it right now.
Lana's blue eyes fluttered opened. She rubbed her eyes, wanting to get rid of the blurriness in them. She slapped her face a couple of times to wake her up and then shook her head. She sat up in apparently a hospital bed…surrounded by different colored roses. She looked to her hand which was being tightly held by Caroline. Lana smiled at her, but not at the awful hospital gown they had put her in. She always thought vampires didn't sleep, but after being surrounded by them day in and day out, she learned that they could stay up pretty late.
Lana noticed something in the corner of her right eye. She saw a lot of get well cards as she looked over to the couch near the window that had two sleeping Lannisters. Jaime on one end of the couch and Tyrion at the other, lightly snoring with Jaime's head thrown back and Tyrion's resting on the couch's arm. There was a knock on the door that woke everyone up all at once.
Tyrion wiped some drool off his chin and Lana chuckled. There heads whipped to her and Caroline jumped up and wrapped her arms around Lana's body until she croaked out, "Can't b-breathe. Big sis, losing a-air."
Caroline let her go and Lana saw her eyes filled with tears as she smiled happily at her. Lana frowned. "Oh, god! Who died?!"
"No one it's just that well-"
"You've been in a coma for almost three days now, "Jaime cut in.
Lana raised her eyebrows in amazement. "Really! Well, that explains why I'm not cranky and feel so rested all of the sudden."
Caroline glared and smacked her arm. Lana caught her wrist just as it was about to hit her and immediately widened her eyes and dropped it like it was a virus. Lana got out of bed and said, "Something is wrong with me and we need to get out of here to figure it out."
Lana went to the end table and found her clothes which were nicely folded. She nonchalantly put jeans on and then proceeded to unlace her hideous gown.
"Lana!" Caroline scolded and gestured to the brothers behind her, who were watching her intently.
Lana rolled her eyes. "Caroline, I'm sure they've seen a-" Lana's hands went to her clothed breasts and said, "Oh. I'm not wearing a bra." She sighed and said, "Well, everyone scoot. Get on out of here. I'm not showing the girls today."
Caroline and Tyrion were walking out when Jaime leaned in and whispered in her ear as she held the falling hideous gown to her body, "Listen I-"
Lana put a delicate finger to his lips and gestured with her hand to her ear and to the door. She walked to the door and closed it. Locking it as well. Lana noticed his attired and she couldn't help, but shift on her feet because he looked so…so…hot.
His blonde hair was cut though he kept the five o'clock shadow on his face. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black jeans, and Converses. She thought he looked a little adorable yet dorky with the Converses. She pouted a little.
"Who took you out shopping?" she asked as she walked back over to him. She tried to keep her curious eyes off his broad and well built chest, but the T-shirt perfectly fitted the top of his body. Like she said before, he was hot.
"You just barely noticed," he asked amusingly.
Lana shrugged. "What can I say? I barely noticed my own appearance in the mirror."
"How can one not see themselves in the mirror and look like you do." He chuckled. "That's complete nonsense. Your world confuses me."
"Of course it makes sense. It must be since it came out of my mouth. I happen to be intelligent, you know. Not just some dumb busty blonde." Lana argued.
"I do like your mouth," he replied, his voice somewhat husking. He was gazing at her lips as if he was caught in a trance. He was beginning to lean in and she froze completely, already a little aroused. He seemed to be breathing heavy as if anxious to kiss her. He shook his head and looked back at her. Was that shame, she saw in his eyes?
He backed away from her and sat on the bed with a frustrated sigh. He put his head in his hands for a moment, calming his breathing for a moment. She stood there awkwardly, gripping the gown to her body as he sat on the bed. She shivered as a cold wind flew put her. Jaime immediately heard her and stood up straight. He grabbed the blanket that was on the bed and wrapped it around her shoulders.
Lana gripped it tightly. "Thank you."
His fingers traced ever so softly the column of her neck. "What is this?" He looked into her eyes, confused. "Between us? This thing?"
Jaime shook his head. "I don't know. I like it though which frightens me more." He confessed sadly.
"We can't."
"Why?" he said before he could stop himself.
"Because a wise woman or well vampire once told me that I shouldn't feel something for someone who has feelings for another and that I should think of myself more than that." Lana stared off into the distance. "I didn't listen to her and I got my hear broken."
"Who was it that you had feelings for another?" he asked softly.
She turned her head to him. "Damon." Jaime nodded, everything she had told him now making sense to him. "I can hear your thoughts about her Jaime."
His hand fell from her neck as hers cupped his cheek saying gently, "You will always have feelings for her. Besides I'm not the kind of person to get in between siblings."
Without another glance, she slipped on the rest of her clothing under the blanket and walked out of the room. Before she took another step out of the room, she was swept off her feet by someone hugging her. Damon set her down and immediately kissed her passionately…only if, she thought sadly. Instead of Damon hugging and kissing her, no, he full on glared at her and looked as if he was forcing himself not to get angry and rip someone's head off. Oh, shit, she thought, he heard us. Jaime followed behind, silent and impassive yet you could easily tell he was deep in thought about something.
She sighed. "So does anyone want to freakin' tell me what the hell am I even in the damn hospital?"
Someone cleared their throat behind her and Lana whirled around to that person. She immediately brightened up and smiled as she jumped into his arms around his neck saying, "Ric!"
He laughed and hugged her back. "Careful there, you still have stitches that need to be healed."
Lana pulled back, her eyebrows knitting in confusion, "Stitches?! What stitches?!"
He pointed to her chest and she pulled down her shirt. She couldn't help, but gasp at the large railroad tracks across her heart. Her fingers grazed the stitches in curiosity before Damon caught her hands and said sternly, "Don't. Touch. It."
"Jeez, what the hell?" Lana said angrily. "Damon, let go of my hand before you lose your dick."
He smirked. "What about my balls? Why not cut off those instead?"
She smirked back at him, knowing where to hit him. "Because Katherine already cut them off and framed them."
Ric mentally groaned, already knowing the fight that was brewing between these two. Yes, he had heard what had happened and knew of the war that will come along with it. He honestly wanted to punch then stake Damon in that moment, but after seeing the regret on his face when no one was looking, he calmed down a bit.
"Damon, come on, let her go. Don't be a dick." Ric told him.
Damon rolled his eyes and slightly glared at him. Ric gave him a look, knowing that he was right instead of him. Ric eyed the strangers he was told about by Damon and Caroline. He already expected that Damon didn't trust them and wasn't ever going to especially when one of them was moving in on his girl, Lana. Caroline told him that Lana had of course disappeared and she found the Lannisters, brothers, Jaime and Tyrion. He actually found another one near the old well off the edge of the Lockwood plantation. He was very…very strange to Alaric and the way he spoke was intimidating in some way to Alaric. He was in silks while Alaric was in old clothes.
"Do any of you guys know someone named, Varrie-Varith," Alaric tried saying.
"You mean Varys. Bald and a eunuch." the tall blonde one said.
Alaric nodded. The short blonde one spoke, "Dear Gods, I thought we got rid of the Spider."
The tall blonde one chuckled and said, "I think not little brother. He's harder to kill than the Starks. Remember he's a spider and a survivor."
"Ah, yes, the Master Of Whispers." The short blonde one said amusingly.
Lana voice's whispered beside him, "The short one's Tyrion and the tall one is Jaime."
He shook his head as he had forgotten that she could read his mind. "And," she continued, Alaric already knowing what she was going to say, "for your information I am not Damon's girl."
He chuckled. "Someday that power is going to get you punched in the face and I won't feel sorry for you."
She put a hand over her heart like she was hurt. "Ric, how could you say such a thing?" she put a hand on his shoulder carefully like she was concerned for him. "I thought we were friends. Did those nights mean nothing to you?"
He grabbed her hands and said with fake love, "Of course they meant everything to me. How could they not? I…words cannot describe how I feel about you."
She fake beamed and jumped into his arms saying, "I knew it!"
He twirled her around while everyone shook their heads and chuckled at them, well except Damon and Jaime of course. He set her down and patted the top of her head. Lana looked around and made account everyone who was here. Elena. Caroline. Damon. Jaime. Ric. Bonnie. Tyrion. She frowned or actually pouted.
"Where's Stef?" Lana asked.
Elena answered, "He's with the Starks, trying to find their mother and brother. No luck though."
Lana wondered if Elena and Bonnie found anyone yet or if they knew who or what was happening. Lana causally walked over to them and rocked on her heels saying, "Hey so, do you guys know Jaime, Tyrion, Bran, Arya, Sansa, Robb, Jon, Daenerys, Joffrey, Ned, Brienne, and Hordor?"
They chuckled and Bonnie replied, "Only Jaime, Tyrion, Brienne, and Arya?"
"Oh and Varrie." Elena added.
"It's Varys." Jaime and Tyrion exasperated in unison.
"Well, how are we supposed to know that," Bonnie said calmly.
"It's expected of you," Tyrion shrugged.
Bonnie's eyes flared up for a tiny moment as Jaime spoke, "Besides, getting someone's name wrong is a sign of disrespect." He smirked. "You don't want to get on the Spider's bad side."
Before Bonnie could reply, Alaric chuckled, "Uncanny."
They all turned to him and knitted their eyebrows in confusion, and then Alaric continued, "Those two, Jaime and Tyrion. Well, they act like someone we all know, love, and hate." No one answered, still confused. Alaric rolled his eyes and waved his hands. "Damon! They act like Damon!"
Lana laughed, "Of, yeah. I get it. They're all pretty arrogant dicks."
All three of them glared at her. "What? It's true. Alaric said it first."
"I thought we were friends, Lanny."
"We are," she whispered. "But, I don't really need psychopaths coming after me."
Alaric shook his head in disappointment. "So, you decide to throw me under the bus."
"No, just tape you under it. Then pull you back up to safety." Lana reassured.
"You know what; I actually do see the similarities." Elena said.
Bonnie nodded. "Yeah, me too."
"If Damon was a stranger like them, we could've said that he was a Lannister," Caroline agreed.
"Ok, A: I'm not like them," Damon said, "B: I'm a vampire. C: I'm older by a hundred and twelve years. And D: I'm hotter than them." He smirked at Lana.
Lana shook her head. "Nah, Damon. I really think Robb and Jaime beat you at that."
She patted his back and said, "Let's go meet V-ar-ys."
She looked to Tyrion for approval and he nodded.
Varys was a good looking…er, eunuch. He was draped in silks and he had an extraordinary posture that made Lana self conscious. He was eyeing of them with interest, but once he saw Tyrion and Jaime, he smiled at them amusingly like "old friends". Tyrion and Jaime walked closer to Varys and Tyrion said, "Varys, so lovely to see you again."
"And you as well, my lords." Varys replied with a slight accent that was smooth and easy.
"Have you seen any of your little spies lately?" Tyrion questioned. They were in Alaric's apartment. It was only Jaime, Tyrion, Damon, Alaric, and Lana. Elena and Bonnie went back to the boarding house along with the rest of the Starks to try a locator spell for the rest of their family.
Varys gave a little chuckle. "No, I have not."
"What about my sweet sister or my loving father?"
"Neither, my lord. I am afraid I've been cut off from all communications thanks to this man." He pointed a look at Alaric.
"I have a name." Alaric said.
"Oh, yes, Alaric Saltzman is it? I remember names rather quickly." Varys said.
"Quicker than most," Jaime added.
"Ser Jaime, you look rather well." Varys complimented. "I must admit it is rather nice to see you again. The queen was getting lonely and she was working late nights trying to find a way to free you from The Starks."
Jaime didn't reply, only smile, but eye Varys carefully. Varys turned from him when he saw that Jaime's eyes left Varys for a moment and went to her. Varys walked up to Lana and took her hands, and bowed.
He smiled at her though while the smile was in his eyes, there was something off about it. "My lady, you are a sight to see."
Lana knitted her eyebrows in confusion. "Do I know you?"
He chuckled. "No, I'm afraid not, but I know you. I've seen pictures of your beauty and you are even more beautiful in person."
She smiled politely at him. "Thank you." She frowned as she tapped into his thoughts.
She is a beauty no doubt, but I do wonder what Jaime Lannister wants with her. Surely the queen will have seen that her brother fancies someone else and she will probably have the poor girl assassinated within a fortnight and if Lord Tywin found out…well, may the Gods have mercy on this poor and innocent girl, he thought.
She tore her hands away and Varys face fell into confusion. "Is something wrong, my lady?"
"Who's Lord Tywin?" Lana asked. "And why would he want me dead?"
Varys fell into more confusion at her and she rolled her eyes, but still fearful of the man she did know. "I can read minds. I read yours, Varys. You said that if the queen found out about me then she would assassinate me in a fortnight, but if Lord Tywin found out then…then you said something about the Gods having mercy on me." She glared a little at him and stepped closer. "I'm not some idiot innocent girl. Tell me."
Varys sighed and answered, "He's Lord Tywin Lannister. The most powerful man in Westeros, my lady. Father of Cersei Lannister, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, Ser Jaime Lannister, Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, and Tyrion Lannister, Master of Coin."
"Oh," Lana said and Varys gave a nod. She turned to Jaime. "So the Great Lion, Lord Tywin, is your dad." They nodded.
"Shit! I know him!" a voice beamed from the doorway.
They all whirled to the voice in the doorway. Lana widened her eyes and whispered, "Tyler."
