After an unfortunately long hiatus I have returned with more. I swear i'll try harder to update more often, it's hard with school but i'm working on it I swear.

So without further stalling here we are!

Review if you'd like!

WARNING: This chapter does contain some talk of sexual assault and abortion just a warning

"What is a homecoming?" Clary asked Isabelle as they walked from the field.

"It's a dance and activity week that follows the boy's longest away trip," Isabelle shrugged, "The sprit week following is pretty fun because some days' we don't have to wear our uniforms. We have like sports day, pajama day, twin day."

"Interesting," Clary nodded, "So is there also another football game?"

"Yes, there's one on the Thursday and the dance is the Friday night. Followed by a generally really good party. This year either Sebastian or another guy on the team Georgie."

"I heard that the dance was a semi-formal? What does that mean?"

"You have to wear a nice dress, usually short but I wore a long one last year because it's me," Isabelle laughed, "Aline, Elizabeth, Maia and I are going dress shopping on Saturday since your brother won't be in the city why don't you come with us?"

"Sounds good," Clary agreed. "I don't really think I've been without Jace and Sebastian for any length of time since I've arrived and I've been here for a month."

"Well you'll have me and I mean, I'm much easier on the eyes," Isabelle joked as she pulled out of the parking lot. "You can stay over at my house if you want. Since I know Valentine works a lot of weekends."

"I appreciate that," Clary smiled, "I don't think I have any plans this weekend. I might do something with Simon. But it depends how he's feeling."

"I went to see him last night, he's doing better."

"You two becoming better friends?"

Clary swore she saw her friend blush, "Yeah, we've been getting closer. He's a nice guy, pretty funny. Even though he's really nerdy."

"Not your type eh?"

"To say the least."

The two girls drove back to their homes, after Isabelle stopped for coffee. She admitted to Clary that she spent too much money on coffee but it could be worse, she could be doing crack. As they drove Clary thought back to her flight she'd taken to get to America, she worried about not liking her Father, about her brother hating her, about not making friends. But she was glad all of her fears had been proven wrong. She didn't have any problems with her father, he was generous, kind, and wanted her to have a good life. Sebastian obviously didn't hate her or he wouldn't have kept inviting Clary to be with his friends. Those same friends that treated Clary like they'd known her for years, who just welcomed her like it was nothing.

Sebastian and Jace were in the living room with Jonathan and Alec when Clary got home.

"How'd you girls do?"

"We won; 13-6," Clary smiled, "So far we're 3-0, and we have our tournament in two weeks. So we're hoping to win our next three games so we'll be 6-0 going into the tournament where we'll be set to get Gold."

"You girls have it all planned out," Jonathan chuckled.

"No Isabelle has it all planned out," Clary called as she walked upstairs. She showered and put disinfectant on the cuts she had on her leg from sliding, not wanting to get an infection, she left her room in search of bandages.

Finding none in her room or in the bathroom Sebastian and Valentine shared she went downstairs. "Do we have any bandages?" She asked Sebastian.

"Maybe, why? What did you hurt?"

"I did a slide on the ground and got walked on. Took the ball from her thought," Clary shrugged and showed her brother the cuts on her leg. "I've done worse but I don't want them to get infected or worse. I have a game in four days on Monday."

"Just like your brother," Jonathan chuckled, "Always getting hurt in the sake of helping the play"

"With Isabelle as a captain you take the hit," Clary laughed.

"She's right, I've lived with Isabelle for seventeen years. You take the hit," Alec said seriously.

"Food for you in the kitchen," Sebastian said, "Jace and I went out to get Chinese so we brought you home some."

"It's nice to see a couple that still goes out on dates after all the time they've been together,' Clary chirped as she walked to the kitchen.

She found her comment being echoed by laughter and Jace's voice, "We have a very loving and enduring relationship. We just need to treat each other."

"Yours is the big container the rest is my leftovers which you're more than welcome to," Sebastian called, "But I ordered you a very generic plate I hope you like it!"

Clary opened her container to find rice, chicken balls, chop suey and an egg roll. Very simple and some of Clary's favourites. She called her thanks to her brother.

Clary decided to work on her art gallery pieces she was sketching out what she hoped would be a realistic paining of a flower. She liked to relax after a game by working on her art.

The boys piled into the bus but there was a somber mood through them. They would be doing this without Jordan Kyle, he'd been a great player and a dedicated member of the team and it hurt every one of them to see him gone so young. The way he partied they hadn't expected him to make it to old age, but none the less they never expected it to happen so suddenly.

"We suffered a big loss this week boys," Michael Wayland, their coach, said, "But we gotta keep our heads up and play well. When we come back home we want to show everyone that we could do it! That we can win! Let's bring home the glory!"

They all cheered back, and their thoughts slipped from Jordan.

"Can I ask you something?" Jace asked Sebastian as they drove down the never-ending stretch of highway. The lights of the day were ending and everyone was tired from the long boring drive. Most of them were used to it, at least half of them had already survived three other tournaments but they were grueling and the drives were harsh.

"You just did," Sebastian chuckled at the joke Jace often used.

"Can I ask your sister to Homecoming?"

Sebastian cocked an eyebrow and any guys who were awake within earshot perked up, Jace and Sebastian had been best friends since birth. Who knew how Sebastian would take it. Well was the answer because he smiled, "Yeah, if you don't intend to fuck around with her. Because I'll kick your ass Herondale."

"In your dreams Morgenstern." Like that a weight felt like it had been lifted from Jace's shoulders, he wanted to ask Clary to Homecoming but he didn't want to chance Sebastian being mad at him. Because he wasn't going to sabotage his friendship for a feeling he might have had. Even if he did like Clary a lot.

Over the course of four days, from Friday to Monday, the boys played in five games. After hauling ass, being bruised, beaten, and tackled they came out on top 5-0, putting them in track to be the first team in Ash Academy history to ever go undefeated. With such tough rivalry's and strong competition it was hard to go without any losses but as they pulled back into the school at 12:30 Tuesday morning they felt proud of themselves. They'd kicked ass and won for themselves and Jordan.

Valentine picked up Jace, Sebastian and Alec and dropped them off. Jace didn't even bother to shower, he stripped down, set his alarm and fell into bed. Tired from the long weekend he had behind him. But now he faced a different challenge, asking Clary to homecoming. Some people made big ordeal out of it but Jace didn't think she would like that. He'd have to ask Isabelle what to do.

Isabelle sat on the edge of her bed, she tried to pull herself together but she was struggling, she didn't want to go back. She didn't want to see him again. Her skin crawled as she put on her uniform, but she splashed some water on her face, threw her hair into a messy bun and headed downstairs, she hoped she was putting on enough of a poker face to fool her mother, Alec would be a different story.

"You feeling alright Isabelle?" Mayrse asked her daughter, "You look a bit ill."

"Just a cold coming probably," Isabelle forced a laugh, "Figures homecoming and the tournament are coming to I just have to get sick."

"You forgot about sports day didn't you?" Alec asked her, he wore jeans, a white shirt, and his varsity jacket.

"Shit!" Isabelle mumbled as she sprinted back up to her room. Spirit week, she was relieved to be out of her uniform and into leggings and her jersey. She was happy to be out of that uniform.

Alec was waiting for her by the door, "It's unlike you to forget spirit week," Alec said carefully, "You doing okay Iz?"

"Oh yeah, like I said. Cold coming on, all the stress."

Clary drove that morning knowing that both the boys were tired they stopped for coffee. Clary also picked up on something being wrong with Isabelle but she too was brushed off with the 'sick' excuse. Isabelle didn't act like herself all day and rebuffed everyone who tried to talk to her about it.

Everyone figured that Isabelle was probably just getting sick until it was time for math. Jace and Clary were the first into the class and they sat talking about the spirit week, and homecoming. As Clary had never experienced a homecoming. Isabelle walked into the class looking pale she seemed to be doing okay until the teacher came over and put his hand on her desk, he looked like he was trying to talk to her but Isabelle jumped up and ran from the classroom.

"What's going on with Isabelle?" Simon asked when he sat down, "I just saw her running down the hallway."

"I don't know," Jace said, "She said she was sick.

"I'll talk to her after class, see if she needs anything."

Isabelle was leaning up against the hood of Clary's car waiting for her so they could drive home the boys had a practice after school so Isabelle and Clary were alone, the red head didn't say anything until she had pulled into the driveway of the Lightwood house.

"Iz, I haven't known you for long, but if there's something wrong maybe I can help?"

Clary was shocked when Isabelle started to sob, "I'm pregnant," She burried her face in her hands, "He just wouldn't leave me alone."

"Who? Who's the father?" Clary was so startled, she fluttered her hands around trying to find something to do.

"Mr. Milton," Isabelle spat the name like it was venom.

"It wasn't consensual," Clary said dully, "How long has it been going on for?"

Isabelle pulled herself together and looked at Clary, "Since the start of the year. I didn't understand some of the stuff at first, so I went to extra help. He started out helping me and then he started to go further. I tried to stop it but he said he'd fail me," Tears started to roll down her face again, "He said he'd get me kicked off the team. Ruin my life. He started cornering me after classes, finding excuses to get me to go into the class after school or on my lunch break, or whenever he wanted."

"We need to go to the police."

"I can't go alone."

"I said we," Clary was angry, she felt her temper flaring, "Do you need to go into your house to get changed?"

"No, my father is in there, he can…"

"They'll have to find out eventually," Clary said.

Isabelle looked at her lap, "I can't have a child," She said.

"There are ways to fix that," Clary said cautiously.

Isabelle looked out the windshield with tears still rolling down her face, "I can't have a child. His child. I'd hate a child, and no baby deserves that."

"It's your choice Isabelle, but if you think you can we need to go to the police."

Isabelle wiped off her face, "Let's go," She took a deep breath and Clary pulled out of the driveway.

"Nobody will hear a word of this," Clary said, "You're a minor so you won't end up in the papers or anything and if you have to go to court we'll figure something out. But do you have any proof?"

Isabelle smiled a vindictive grin, "Yes actually. I have emails he's sent me. Threatening my spot on the team and in the school."

Clary admired the strength of Isabelle, as they walked into the police station. She held her head high but she reached for Clary's hand and the two girls walked in together. Clary had sent a message to her brother saying that she might be unable to pick them up, she told him that she couldn't explain but she hoped he would understand.

"You didn't have to do this," Isabelle said as they waited for an officer to come see them.

"You're my friend. But you should think of what you want to do," Clary advised.

The two girls sat with a young officer who introduced herself as Alice. Isabelle told the officer what had been going on, she brought the emails up on her phone and the officer wrote everything down and nodded, "We'll do something Miss Lightwood," The officer promised, "This will not go unpunished."

When the girls were back in the car Isabelle heaved a heavy, "I somehow feel that if it had been a male officer he would have asked what I had done to entrance him."

"Probably," Clary admitted. Clary checked her phone and saw that Sebastian and Jace had gotten a ride home with Jonathan Wayland.

Isabelle looked at her lap, "I'm going to tell Alec, but I'm not ready for anyone to know anything yet."

"No one will know anything, I swear."

Clary dropped Isabelle off but before her friend got out of the car Clary looked at her carefully, "If you need anything, day or night, call me. I don't care if I'm in class I don't care what I'm doing. Call me. Okay?"

"Okay," Isabelle agreed, "Thank you. I couldn't have gone alone. I should have gone a month ago, I'm so stupid! This is my fault." She put a hand on her stomach and looked disgusted.

"Hey! No," Clary said firmly, "He was threatening your place on your team and in the school. We both know that you felt like you had no choice. This isn't your fault."

"This isn't my fault," Isabelle mumbled as if she were trying to convince herself of it.

Once she was back home Clary sent Isabelle a message, just reminding her that Clary was there if she needed anything.

Clary and Jace started to work on homework at Jace's house but Clary was distracted. "You okay Clary?" Jace asked after she got confused about the subject that they were talking about for the third time.

"Yeah," Clary sighed, "I'm just not in the mood for school work right now, I won't lie."

"We can do something else, or I can go?"

Sebastian had left earlier to go to Jonathan's house. "Want to make something to eat?" Clary suggested.

"Sure!"

The two of them went to the kitchen and decided to make pasta. Clary sat on the counter while they waited for the pasta to cook, "Are you excited for home coming?" Jace asked.

"Actually yeah," Clary thought, "It should be fun. We never really did much like that back in London."

"Has anyone asked you yet?"

Clary laughed, "Lord no! I assume that you have to beat the girls off with a stick."

"I prefer to run actually," Jace joked, "But I mean if you don't have any better date options we could go together?"

Clary felt her face flush, "Are you asking me to go to Homecoming with you?"

"Yes?" Jace suddenly looked nervous and clary felt a slight jab of satisfaction.

"I'd like that," Clary decided.

"Me too, before you ask I asked your brother first."

"You asked permission to ask me to homecoming? That's cute!"

Jace rolled his eyed, "Oh shut up."

"You know I think you just want to go to me because it's the closest you can get to going with Sebastian."

"If I wanted to go with your brother I'm sure I could get him, don't tell him this but you're just a bit prettier than he is."

Clary stayed sitting on the on the counter but Jace slid closer to her from the place he'd been standing. "Clarissa?"

"Jonathan-Christopher?"

"Can I kiss you?"

"If you'd like, unless you want to ask Sebastian first?" Clary teased.

Jace rolled his eyes before he moved to stand in front of her, with a quick and graceful movement he had his hand on the side of her face and they were kissing. They broke apart when the pasta started to boil over and for some reason the two of them couldn't stop laughing at it.

Simon was the first to arrive in calculus that day but he was a bit confused when only Jace showed up. Neither Isabelle nor Clary were in their class.

"Where are Clary and Isabelle?"

Jace only shrugged, "I honestly don't know, only Sebastian was in the car this morning. Maybe they all caught whatever Isabelle has, I know the two of them spend a lot of time together."

The two boys sat alone and were confused when a substitute walked into the class a few moments late, "Hello class," She said, "My name is Mrs. Campbell. I'll be your teacher for the next little while. If you could all take your books out and turn to 458, we'll start with notes today."

Jace and Simon met eyes but they didn't really have anything to say. "Where's Mr. Milton?" One of the students asked from the other side of the class.

Mrs. Campbell looked uncomfortable, "Text books everyone!" She said and turned her back to the students to write on the bored.

Isabelle, Alec and Clary were absent for the whole day, not even Sebastian knew where his sister was he just said that she said she wouldn't be going to school when he went to see if she was ready that morning.

Isabelle laid in her bed with Clary lying beside her. "Can you stay tonight?" Isabelle asked.

"I can," Clary said, "I'll just go to class with Alec tomorrow."

Alec and Mayrse Lightwood came into Isabelle's room, "How are you feeling?" Mayrse asked. Maryse Lightwood realized what was going on as soon as Isabelle got back from the police station, she'd only told her mother about the assault but Mayrse was a smart woman and was quick to come to her daughter's aid.

"I'm okay," Isabelle said, she was lying on her side, "Is it alright if Clary stays with me?"

"Of course," Mayrse said, "I'll send Valentine a message. You can go get something to eat Clary, I'll sit with Isabelle for a moment."

Alec and Clary went downstairs, "How did you get her to tell you?"

"I just told her that if she needed anything I was there and she broke down. It was wearing on her, it could have been any of us. I just happened to be the one with her when she cracked."

"Well thank you for helping take care of my sister," Alec said as they got their food.

"It's no problem."

"I heard you're going to Homecoming with Jace," Alec said as they ate.

"How'd you hear that?"

"From Sebastian, also known as Jace's true love."

Clary allowed a grin, "Do you think she'll be going on Friday?"

"Knowing Isabelle yes," Alec admitted.

When they were done Clary went back upstairs but Alec went out for a little bit, after making sure that his sister was doing okay. Mayrse checked Isabelle's temperature like the woman at the clinic had said to do, so to be sure that Isabelle didn't have an infection.

"You're good," Mayrse said stroking her daughter's forehead, "You're doing so well my dear."

"Thanks for the help Mom." Mayrse left the room. Leaving Clary and Isabelle alone.

"I feel like a failure," Isabelle mumbled as Clary sat beside her. "I feel like it's my fault."

"It's not your fault," Clary said fiercely, "This is because he was a sick twisted man who took advantage of a young woman while he was in a position of authority, he's nothing but scum. You did well, you stopped him from doing this to other girls."

"I did," Isabelle said.

"Yes, Simon sent me a message to see how we were and mentioned that he's gone."

"I hope he didn't hurt anyone else," Isabelle said.

"If he did now they can come forward."

Clary and Isabelle spent the night watching movies together, they didn't get to sleep until the early hours of the morning. Isabelle was awake first to wake up Clary, "Today is school colors day, you can borrow something from my closet."

"The colors are?"

"Navy blue and gold," Isabelle stood up gingerly and made her way into the closet, "Wear these, this and this. With the scarf." Isabelle had given Clary navy blue leggings with a black shirt and cardigan and gold scarf.

"Thanks, if you need anything today you can call me," Clary said as she got dressed, "Oh do me a favor and text Sebastian from my phone to ask him if he can get my school bag from my room for me?"

Isabelle laid down on her bed and texted Sebastian for her friend. "He said he would," Isabelle called to Clary who was in Isabelle's bathroom trying to fix her hair up so that it would look alright and not like she hadn't really slept. "He also promised coffee."

"God love him," Clary mumbled. "Remember Iz, if you need anything let me know. I can come back tonight or you can come over to my house, to get out if you'd like. Just let me know by after school."

"Actually Simon is going to come over and help me with the work I missed, so I won't be too behind," Isabelle still looked ghostly pale but she looked better than she had when she got home the previous morning.

"That's good, you feel much pain? Heavy bleeding?"

"No," Isabelle said, "Not much bleeding and not much pain just some bloating and mild discomfort. Don't worry about me Clary, I'm doing okay for now. But if I'm not I'll call you."

"Good." Clary tucked her phone into her pocket and folded the clothes she'd worn the day previous.

"Thanks Clary," Isabelle said, "I appreaciate what you've done for me."

"It's nothing you wouldn't do for a friend."

"You're right," Isabelle laid back down and pulled the blankets back around her, "Now go get to school, you've got a good average to maintain."

"I'm glad it's raining that way we don't have to explain to Ms. Knight why we aren't at practice."

"The staff probably knows," Isabelle said looking troubled.

Clary said her goodbyes before she joined Alec and Max in the kitchen, "How's Izzy doing?" Max asked.

"She's feeling better," Clary smiled at him, "How are you liking school Max?"

"It's good, but mum says I need a math tutor," Max sighed.

"You do need one honey," Mayrse said as she walked into the kitchen, "Your teacher suggested you get one."

"Who will tutor me? They're hard to find!"

"Why don't you get Clary to," Alec said, "She already tutors Jace."

Mayrse turned to look at Clary who shrugged, "I'm free most days after school when there isn't football practice."

"Well we'd pay you of course, so if you want we'll talk later," Mayrse looked kindly at Clary.

"Just have Alec or Iz give you my number," Clary told her. "I'd be more than willing to."

Jace and Sebastian were in the car waiting for Alec and Clary outside of the Lightwood house, neither of the boys asked anything other than if Isabelle was okay. Clary figured they'd put two and two together but out of respect for their friend they didn't ask anything specific.

For Clary the day was long and wouldn't end, she just wanted to go take a nap but she made it through her classes without falling asleep so that was alright. Elizabeth invited Clary over the following day to hang out after school. The rain still pounded down outside so practice was cancelled.

Once she was home Clary checked her messages on Facebook and email and she was a bit shocked to find some less than pleasant messages from Mitchie talking about how Clary felt she was too good for her friends back in London because she was one of the popular kids in America, feeling irritated with her best friend she told Mitchie that helping a new friend through an abortion was a bit more important than replying to a message about the color of a sweater. Clary laid on her bed with the intention of opening her computer to do homework but that didn't happen, instead she fell asleep.

Alec stood on the doorstep to the house he'd grown so familiar with over the years and he wasn't the least bit surprised when Church opened the door. "He's upstairs."

"Thanks."

If she and Chairman knew about anything going on between Magnus and Alec they didn't mention it to Alec and they didn't say anything to any of their other friends. Hulking Chairman and tiny Church were opposites but they were a lovely couple.

Alec went up to Magnus' room where his friend was plucking his eyebrows in front of a mirror. Alec didn't disturb him he just laid out on the bed and waited for Magnus to finish.

"How's Isabelle?" Magnus inquired when he laid down beside Alec. "Is she handling it okay?"

"She's a strong girl," Alec said, "But she's doing well. I want to kill him though, I want to end his miserable life. Because she's just a girl and she's my baby sister. She doesn't deserve that, no woman does," Alec let out a frustrated groan.

Magnus laced his fingers though Alec's, "It's incredibly unfair that someone has to go through that but the best thing you can do right now is be there for her and love her. She's just gone through two huge traumas. Rape and an Abortion. For some women an abortion is very difficult."

"I know," Alec took a deep breath, "Would you like to come to the after Homecoming party with me? I'm not sure if you were invited or anything but I want you to come."

"Yeah, sure. I like a good party."

Alec turned his head to look at Magnus who was looking at him. It felt natural to Alex to lean in and press his lips to those of the boy beside him. His heart did flips and his stomach felt like it was filled with fire and butterflies. "Would you let me sketch you?" Magnus asked when they broke apart. "For my art project?"

"Only if you do it like one of your French women," Alec chuckled at his own joke. Magnus brought his desk chair over to beside the bed with a pencil and sketch pad, "I think I'll do it with water color pencils instead."

Alec just waited patiently on the bed for Magnus to do his drawing, he watched the concentration on his face, the careful lines forming between his eyebrows and the way he bit his tongue in thought. Every once in a while Magnus would twitch his eyebrows or huff in frustration if he didn't like the way something looked but Alec remained still and patient.

When Magnus pronounced it finished Alec was shocked, the drawing was a bright and vibrant outline of his figure on a black background, making the delicate colors stand out brightly and seem even prettier. "Wow Mags, this is amazing."

"What can I say, I had a wonderful model." Magnus pulled Alec into his lap to kiss him more, which Alec was perfectly happy with.

"They talked about putting Jordan Kyle on the ballot," Isabelle whispered as they sat in the auditorium waiting for the school sponsored magician to be ready for his show, "But they decided just to honor him at the game and retire his jersey."

"That's a good way to memorialize him," Clary commented, she hadn't known the boy but his death had rocked the school. "Who is nominated?"

"The most popular students in the school," Simon said before any of them could answer, "So this year's ballot will be Sebastian, Jace, Alec, and Jonathan and for girls Isabelle, Aline, Kaelie and Elizabeth."

"You going to put money on that?" Jace asked, "Ten?"

"You're on goldie locks!" Simon offered Jace his hand and the two of them shook hands.

The magician gave a wonderful performance that amused Clary very thoroughly and she got to miss Calculus so it wasn't a bad way to spend a morning. It was Thursday and it felt like the week had been exceptionally long and in reality it had been. Especially for Isabelle who appeared to be doing better and being back at school didn't appear to be too hard on her, but she was a strong girl.

Once the magician was done the principal and student council president came on stage. She announced the names that would be on the homecoming ballot which would be given out at lunch, much to the annoyance of Jace it was Sebastian, Alec, Jace and Jonathan paired with Isabelle, Aline, Kaelie and Elizabeth. He grumbled as he gave Simon the ten.

"Finally," The president said cheerfully, "The winners of our twin day prize will be announced."

For spirit week they had a twin day, Clary and Elizabeth decided to match and they were convincing twins. They both wore black leggings, white-long sleeved shirts, and dark blue scarves. They both wore brown combat boots (the ones Clary wore belonged to Jocelyn) and they both French braided their hair, they looked exceptionally similar.

"No surprise the winners are Elizabeth Greymark and Clarissa Morgenstern, come get your prizes girls!" Clary linked arms with Elizabeth as they walked up to the stage together while the people in the school applauded. They were each handed an envelope and told to stand on the stage so everyone could see how similar they looked.

Once the assembly was over they were dismissed for lunch, once Clary got her wrap she sat at her usual table. Someone came around with ballots, so Clary voted for Jace and Isabelle. She felt a flush of annoyance when she heard Kaelie talking about how she voted for herself and Jace.

"You'll be on the ticket for Prom," Jace murmured to Clary, "You'll replace Kaelie and probably win. Everyone loves you."

"You're full of shit," Clary rolled her eyes.

"Everyone also likes to hear her curse in that accent," Luke Greymark added. "So did we all get our dresses for tomorrow? Oh I hope none of us match, I'll kill someone!"

"Well mine is pink," Jace piped up quickly, "If any of you bitches got pink I'll be pissed."

"Oh mess of Jace you know mine is pink," Sebastian huffed, "With sequins."

"Not cool," Jonathan groaned, "Guys mine is pink!"

"This is unbelievable, I told you guys weeks ago I was wearing pink!" Alec whined, "You guys never listen to me anymore."

"I'm so mad at you, mine is pink!" Luke heaved a sigh, "This is the end of the world."

"I can't even believe this," Chairman pretended to wipe his eyes, "Me too. I'm so upset now, I can't even."

Everyone at the table was dying with laughter, so much that Clary's sides hurt, "Well good thing I'm an autumn and I got maroon so fuck you guys," Simon pretended to throw hair he didn't have over his shoulder. He sat next to Isabelle who hit his shoulder.

"The worst thing about all of this," Kaelie said, "Is that my dress actually is pink!" That brought on a fresh wave of laughter.

Clary felt happy as she roared with laughter with her friends. They had classes that afternoon and Clary remembered her prize, inside the envelope were two gift cards, one for the mall and one for the movie theater. Both for 50$, Clary was shocked by how much she'd been given but was excited.

After school they went home to get ready for the big game, they were playing Glass Academy who, Sebastian informed Clary, were their arch rivals. Per tradition Jace gave Clary his practice jersey with 'Herondale 6' on the back. It fell long on Clary so she wore it almost like a dress with leggings. Isabelle wore her brother's jersey. Elizabeth wore Jonathan's jersey. Aline had on Sebastian's even though there was nothing between them, Sebastian's date, a girl named Sadie, couldn't get the evening off work so she suggested Aline wore it. The girls sat together with Church, Simon, Magnus, and Kaelie and were excited for the game to start. Even though Clary didn't have the biggest understanding of American Football the atmosphere was contagious and the crowd seemed to buzz with excitement.

When the boys stormed the field Clary hoped it would be a good game.
