Chapter 7-Enjoy

"What the hell, Demetri?!" Hannah yelled as we enter the house, "You are officially stupid! You could have killed him." We all gaped at her in shock. Hannah never yelled.

Demetri sat down on the couch, and pulled me to him, " I know, but my-"

"No buts man," Felix scolded him, "He is probably seriously hurt." Alec and Hannah nodded in agreement. "We have to control the anger."

"No you don't because you're headed back home tonight anyways." Hannah reminded them.

"I think his little ass got exactly what he deserved." Chala commented, speaking up for the first time since the incident.

We all stared at each other. The tension was high.

"Okay! I'm sorry!" Demetri said and stormed out of the house. I sighed and followed behind him.

"Babe," I called after him, grabbing his hand.

"I just want you safe. I don't want to go back to Italy and leave you here." he said and looked at me lovingly, his eyes begging for me to understand.

"I have Chala and Hannah, and you know they won't let anything happen to me." I assured him gently.

He looked down at me and brushed the hair out my face, lifted my chin and pecked me on the lips. I kissed him back, and pulled away, "Come on." I pulled him back in the house.

"When are you guys leaving?" I asked.

"Some time tonight." Demetri replied. We sat down on the couch together. I cuddled close to him as Hannah came out of the kitchen with a big bowl of popcorn, and popped a movie into the DVD player. We watched the movie and enjoyed one another's company for about forty five minutes, then Emmett came barging through the door, disrupting the peaceful atmosphere.

"What are you doing?" He questioned, looking at us and then at the TV and back again. I rolled my eyes.

"Clearly we are watching a movie," I snapped, "So either sit down and be quiet, or go to your room and be quiet."

"Okay, okay," Emmett placated, holding his hands up in surrender, "I'll be quiet." Emmett turned and walked up the stairs to his room. Half way into the movie I slowly began to drift off to sleep. I snuggled into Demetri's arms, and I began to dream about Italy, of all the fun and carefree times I had had with my boyfriend and best friends. The next thing I knew I was in my bed and Demetri was kissing my forehead.

"You guys leaving?" I asked sleepily, rubbing my eyes frantically to wake myself up. He nodded. I jumped and wrapped my arms around his neck and hugged him tightly. "You're coming back for my birthday, right?"

"I wouldn't dare miss it, beautiful." he whispered in my ear, following up with a slow and heartfelt kiss on the lips. Chala, Hannah, and I said our goodbyes to our guys and walked them downstairs with solemn faces. We all crowded in the doorway to watch them depart, and waved as they backed out of the driveway. After the taillights of the car disappeared from sight, we locked up and turned away.

Chala sighed 2 minutes after they were gone, "Well damn."

"I'm satisfied," Hannah spoke up, "Maybe they won't kill anyone." I looked up at them and walked in the kitchen and searched for something to eat.

"Are you guys hungry?" I asked.

"No, I'm good." Chala responded before dashing up the stairs. Hannah joined me in the kitchen. We sat at the bar, and ate cereal in silence. I looked at the clock and noticed it was 11 o'clock. Hannah and I retired to the room for the night.

The next morning, I woke up with a completely different mindset. The guys were gone, and now it was time to get back at Edward and his gang. When I hopped out of bed, I noticed Chala was not in her bed. I walked downstairs looking for her, and I began to worry. Moments before I was about to call Caius, she came in the front door dripping sweat from a morning jog.

"You scared the crap out of me. I was worried." I told her.

"Calm down, you are such a drama queen." she responded with a lighthearted smile, " So how are we getting back at Edward?" A mischievous grin split across my face. I pulled out a piece of paper, and wrote down all the ideas floating in my head. Even though some of the ideas were not dumb and crazy, I wrote them down. After 5 minutes of brainstorming, I handed Chala my list of ideas. While, she overlooked my list I popped toast in the toaster.

"Ooh," she said after examining my list. "Some of these are good." Hannah walked downstairs to the kitchen, "Morning," she called.

"Hey," Chala and I said in unison.

"Oh no, you guys are up to something," Hannah groaned.

"Nothing but sweet revenge." Chala smiled, and fist bumped me. I giggled.

Hannah groaned, "You guys, I advise against this. Someone wise once said, ``Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.'"

"Who said that shit? Someone who obviously isn't too smart." I commented while munching on my toast.

"Confucius said that you dumb ass," Hannah snapped, "Don't do this. Or at least just think about the consequences before you do it."

"Okay, okay." I sighed.

Hannah fixed her breakfast as Chala and I talked about our plans.

"The plan is to make him basically undateable." I told Chala.

"That word undateable sounds perfect for someone who thinks he is such a ladies man." Chala responded.

"Let's make him more feminine." I comment, "I need so-"

"Morning, Emmett," Chala said cutting me off, as he walked in the kitchen behind me." I turned and smiled at him.

"Morning guys," he called and walked over to the fridge. He reached in grabbed the gallon of milk and drank it straight from the carton as us girls looked on with disapproval.

"That was disgusting," I told him.

"Not to mention repulsive." Hannah mumbled under her breath.

"And the germs, who know where your mouth has been." Chala chimed in. Emmett shot us a toothy grin and a wink, returned the milk to the fridge, and retreated from the kitchen. Hannah was standing at the stove and turned and looked at me.

"Just be kind to Edward. Kill him with kindness. He won't be able to sleep at night because he would be paranoid about when you are going to get him back. Then when he least expects it, get him." Hannah suggested.

I thought about it and said, "Damn that is good, but Hannah, how to get him?"

"What are you talking about? I told you I'm not getting involved in your little revenge schemes" Hannah told us with a smile and left the kitchen. Chala laughed at Hannah and spoke excitedly, "That is a great plan until you get whatever you need for your plan."

"Okay. I can do that! Just be nice." I said cheerfully but I don't know if I was trying to convince Chala or myself. Sometimes the very sight of Edward makes my stomach churn, so this was going to be a challenge. Chala and I returned to our room so we could shower and get ready for the school day ahead of us.

The first step to getting back in Bella's good graces is to start by apologizing, and show her that I have changed. I leaned against my car and waited for her and her friends to arrive. I tapped my foot against the concrete sidewalk anxiously. For some reason, I had to have her, and I wanted her to like me.

"Morning Edward," Jessica called to me as she headed my way.

"Not now Jessica," I growled at her. She stopped in her tracks and a perplexed look graced her face. I usually never turned down Jess, but Bella was a reason to. Bella looked ten times better that Jess ever had.

"Whatever, Edward. I know you will be calling me tomorrow." she said and departed. I sighed in relief as she left. I did not need her around ruining things for me. I heard loud LDV Jaguars' theme song, and turned to look at the car. The Volturi girls pulled up in a car, and the sight of the car made me drool it was a brand new limited edition all black Lamborghini Estoque. I fought the drool as I gawked at it. Who has this little girl I used to bully become? I thought with a shake of my head. I walked over to her car and opened her door for her.

"Hey Bella," I greeted her, my voice shaky. What is wrong with you man, you are the Edward Cullen. She just another girl.

"Um, hi Edward," she responded and looked at her friends, Chala and Hannah, "Go ahead guys. I will catch up." They looked at her and turned and continued in the school. "What's up Edward?"

The sound of her voice saying my name made goosebumps break out all over my skin. What the hell is wrong with me?

"Um yeah, I just want to apologize for what my friends and I did to you. It was wrong. I was wrong." I looked at her expecting her to cuss me out and blow up in my face, especially after her boyfriend almost killed me yesterday.

"It's okay Edward, I have forgiven you. It is water under the bridge. Demetri has not forgiven you but he's back in Italy. So chill, it is fine. " she told me with a smile. I gaped at her.

"Really?!" I exclaimed in disbelief. She nodded at me and smiled.

"Bye Edward." Bella said as she walked away toward the school, and left me standing in the parking lot with a huge grin spread across my face.
