There was silence at the table. After all, it is not every day that you take a glimpse into someone's one life and witness her death yourself. Yuri cleared his throat which broke the awkward silence then said, "Thanks for letting us see that, Haruhi" to which she merely smiled at that.

"How much was the extent of your Seer powers?" Gunter asked curiously. "The legends do not describe your powers except for the fact that you were exceedingly powerful."

"I can see the past, the present and the future" Haruhi explained. "Imagine this, you are in the battlefield and you have a Seer on your side, able to predict every move that your enemy makes. Or when you're manoeuvring through politics and there I am who can tell you every dirty secret your nemesis has and what it will take to secure their alliance"

"I'll be invincible" Wolfram found himself saying.

"Exactly. I won every single war for Leon, be it political or those on the battlefield."

"But certainly there has to be a price to pay for it?" Yuri frowned. "From my experience, nothing comes free in life. Nothing"

Haruhi shrugged. "Certainly. I cannot wield any magic and I am powerless when I am having a vision even fainting sometimes. I can be bedridden for days, mentally and physically exhausted after having one. And.." she hesitated, her voice cracking. "And I can never bear children"

"Oh. Oh, I see" Yuri sounded apologetic for bringing the topic up.

"I did pass my legacy down so it wasn't so bad. I had an apprentice who after my death became a priestess."

"And I assume that your apprentice was the priestess at the Shinou Shrine? And that's probably why she could hear the Great One's voice" Conrad deduced at which Haruhi nodded in agreement.

"Alright. Shall we start discussing the reasons as to why Haruhi suddenly appeared in Shin Mazoku?" Ken suggested in an attempt to change the topic at hand.

Yuri caught his friend's eye and leapt in immediately. "Right. Have there been any trouble at the borders lately?"

"Hello Leon" Haruhi greeted gently at the figure standing at her window.

"Yulia." Haruhi shook her head at that.

"I haven't been Yulia for a very long time now. And you know that"

Leon smiled bitterly at her turned to look out of the window as the night breeze tousled his blond hair. "I could remember it as if it was just yesterday when you were still by my side. There was not a day for the past 4000 years that I stopped loving you. It should have been me, not you"

He looked down at his hands, "I can still feel your lifeless body in this arms of mine, stained in blood"

Haruhi reached out and her hand lingered on his shoulder. "I know. I remember everything. I remember loving you. And I remember thinking that dying in your place was the best decision that I have ever made."

"But you're back now. Back here in Shin Mazoku" he grasped her hand tightly. "Don't you want everything to be back to normal again?" a ferocious look entered his eyes.

Haruhi shook her hand. "No. I am Haruhi Fujioka, not Yulia Juliet anymore. It is not fair for you to have a cheap imitation of her, even if I am her reincarnation"

Leon's eyes fell as he slowly lifted his hands off hers.

"I see and you're right. I did tell myself that but a small part of me still yearned for it. Now that I have heard those words fell from your lips that I will no longer to onto that foolish dream"

"I have heard some disturbing rumours lately" Gwendal said with a grim look on his face was everyone gathered in the large study they dubbed the 'War Council Room'

"There have been rumours that our Mazoku has lost all his powers and can no longer protect his citizens. Some underground gatherings have been organized by an unknown organization to try and plant the idea of Yuri's abdication among the people"

'That's bad news. Did any of your sources inform you the mastermind behind this?"

"Unfortunately, no. Apparently, these gatherings are extremely exclusive and you can only be a member via invitation" Gwendal shook his head regretfully. "The only reason I heard of the propaganda is because one of my underground contacts was recruited recently. And I have yet to hear from him yet"

Yuri rubbed his chin thoughtfully, "Well, that's worrying. We have no choice then. We'll have to be James Bond then!" he proclaimed.

"James Bond?"

"An Earth phrase" Yuri waved away Wolfram's question.

"It means that we will have to be spies and infiltrate the organization" explained Conrad. "Honestly, it isn't a bad idea, especially since Gwendal's spy might have been compromised."

Yuri nodded his head vigorously at that, "Exactly. And what kind of king will I be if I can't even prove to my citizens that I can protect them?"

"But.." Gunter protested. "It's too dangerous for you to go, Your Highness."

"He'll be fine" Haruhi suddenly said. "The road may be treacherous but we all will be safe"

"It is decided then. Gwendal and Gunter, you two stay back here in Blood Oath Castle. Wolfram, Haruhi, Ken and Conrad will go with me to infiltrate the organization"

"You know, this isn't my idea of being James Bond. At all" Yuri complained as he trudged along the road, his boots soaked in mud with rain drizzling on all of them.

"Well, we do have a cover story to stick to" Ken gestured at him, his wet cloak clinging to his shoulders.

"We have been walking for hours. James Bond, my foot" Wolfram moaned.

It was a sunny morning when they left Blood Oath Castle, all excited at the prospect of being spies. Yuri had regaled Wolfram and Conrad of the stories of James Bond and his thrilling spy life.

"James Bond is like the ultimate spy dream. He has crazy fighting skills and is good looking too. He drives fast cars and always has hordes of gorgeous women flocking to him" Yuri said dreamily.

"So I'm not good enough for you?" Wolfram demanded as he grabbed Yuri in a headlock. Yuri let out a strangled cry for pain and gasped for air as he weakly tried to pry his fiancé's arm off.

"It'll be an adventure of a lifetime" he choked out.

…..

"Whaddya mean we have to walk there!" yelled Wolfram and Yuri simultaneously, gobsmacked at Gwendal's announcement that they will have to walk all the way to the town of Illza, where Gwendal's contact was.

"Spies, remember? Your cover story is you are all servants in Blood Oath Castle who were fired. Enraged with the decision, you and your family decided to leave to Illza, where you heard rumours of a rebellious underground organization and offer your services" explained Gwendal.

"Servants do not own horses, if you recall" he added dryly.

And that was how members of the Bond Mission as dubbed by Yuri the night before found themselves wet, hungry, tired and filthy from the day's walk.

"I think that I have a newfound respect for travellers now" commented Ken. "You alright, Yu- I mean, Haruhi?"

Haruhi offered a tired smile at that, "Months spent with the Host Club made me rather unfazed by most things, even walking the entire day in the mud"

"Host Club? What kind of club are you joining in Ouran" Yuri asked curiously, joining in the conversation.

"Well, I.." Haruhi was interrupted by Conrad's shout of "Look, there's a tavern up ahead" It seems that even the Lion of Luttenberg was worn out by the non-stop complaining and whining the entire day.

Distracted by the thought of finally getting some warm food and a soft bed, Yuri forgotten his curiosity about Haruhi being in a Host Club and promptly tripped. Right into a puddle of muddy water. He reached out instinctively to grab the person next to him when he fell into the swirling vortex.

"Yes!" Yuri pumped his fist delightfully, thinking of all the food he will eat once he is back on Earth then choked on the water.

He spat out the muddy water as he sat down in the pond. The crystal clear pond water only reaching halfway up his knees. 'Yay, good old 21st century food' he thought as he stood up. "Eh? There's no one else here' he pondered, thinking about the arm he grabbed right before falling in.

"YURIIIII!" Shori's voice thundered from behind him.

"Uh oh." Yuri swallowed. He completely forgot about his brother waiting for him on the other side.

"Sho-Shori"he laughed nervously as he turned to face his brother, lifting his hands up in an effort to placate him. Shori's face was completely dark as he slowly cracked his knuckles. Yuri darted his eyes around then made a spilt second decision to run as fast as he could from his brother's wrath.

As he zig-zagged away from Shori, Yuri heard a boyish high pitched scream of "Daughter!"

'I wonder who was it that I grabbed?'

"Come back here!" he heard Shori's angry yells not too far behind him. Yuri threw all thoughts of Haruhi away as he focussed on just running.

"Stop chasing me!"

"Stop running then"

"I can't if you keep chasing me!"
