Chapter 7 Confession Part 2

Draco was already in the Great Hall when Harry arrived. He stared at him as he walked to the Gryffindor table.

"Hey mate. What are you staring at?" Blaise asked, breaking Draco's concentration.

"I'm not staring at anything." Draco said as he started to eat some steak and kidney pie.

"So who were you staring at then? Is she hot?"

"I wasn't staring at anybody." Draco growled

"No need to get defensive, I was just asking a question. Don't go biting my head off." Blaise sulked.

"I'm not getting defensive nor am I biting your head off. I was just stating facts." Draco lied.

"You're lying."

"Am not."

"You only repeat what I say when you're lying. So tell me, who is it that has your attention?"

"I do not repeat what you say and I'm not lying. Nobody has my attention."

"You're still repeating me. Come on Drake, tell me."

Draco sighed. "Fine, I was looking at somebody. Happy?"

"Not completely. Who is she? What house is she in?"

"First of all, it's not a she, it's a he. And he is in Gryffindor." Draco whispered.

"So you're… you're…"

"Yes."

"And you like a Gryffindor."

"Yes."

"So are you going to tell me who this guy is?"

"I will tell you but not here. Are you done eating?"

"I didn't eat. I took Ginny on a date earlier. I was here waiting on you."

"If you are done talking about yourself, follow me."

Draco led the way to the Black Lake with Blaise hot on his heels. It was safe for them to talk out there because everybody was still at dinner.

"Who is this mystery guy? Is he in our year? Does he know?"

"Yes he is in our year and he does know."

"You are avoiding telling me who it is."

"Alright, alright." Draco said. The he mumbled, "it's Harry."

"Sorry I didn't hear that last part."

"I said it's Harry."

"Potter?"

"Yes."

"Doesn't he have a thing for Weasley and Granger?"

"He does but I think he likes me too."

"He sound like he is confused."

"He wasn't so confused when we were snogging in the Room of Requirements."

"Wait, you kissed him? When did this happen?"

"Sit down so I can tell you."

Blaise laid down in the grass looking eager.

"It was earlier this afternoon, I was walking around the halls when Harry passed me. He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice me, so I started following him. He was muttering to himself, 'I told them. I can't believe I told them.' I followed him all the way to the seventh floor and into the Room of Requirements. Once I was in the Room, I said to him, 'can't believe you told who what?' As you can imagine, he was not pleased to see me. So I had to make peace quick. I asked him what was wrong. He obviously still didn't trust me. So I told him that I saw him running through the castle and I came to see if he was alright. He finally opened up and told me that he had told Weasley and Granger that he had feelings or them. He expected them to react badly and when they didn't he lost it. Then suddenly he asked why I was being so nice to him. I told him to call me Draco and I would tell him. He was being rather difficult. Once I called him on it, he calmed down. When he walked away from me to a couch, I couldn't help myself and I kissed him. He didn't kissed me back at first and I thought I had messed up but he did."

"So what happened next?"

"He said that he liked kissing me and demanded that I kiss him again. So I did the most obvious thing. I told him I would but he is not the boss of me and that I do what I want when I want. Then I left."

"You didn't!"

"I did. I'm a Malfoy. I don't take orders from anybody."

"Well what did he do after that?"

"I don't know. I left him in the Room of Requirements, didn't I?"

"Wow! We both had an eventful day."

"What do you mean both?"

Blaise sat up so he could tell Draco about his day.

"Remember when I told you about Ginny earlier?"

"Yeah. And?"

"Annnd… I watched her for a while and you were right. She does like me. Well I went to the Astronomy Tower to think but it was already somebody up there. Turns out it was Ginny. She thought I was one of her Gryffindor friends. I told her that I was so much better and she told me to prove it. So I did. I kissed her. After that I took her to dinner. Since we are allowed to leave the grounds, I took her to my favorite restaurant in Orvieto. She wanted to go to Italy anyways. But once we made it back to school, we ran into the she-devils of Slytherin. I quickly dismissed them. Then I told Ginny that I wanted to be with her as long as she wanted to be with me. She does. I walked her to her common room and that was my day. You know the rest."

"I have one thing to say. What are the odds of us falling for the two Gryffindors everybody thought would get married?"

Blaise laughed. "Not on my watch."

Draco joined Blaise in laughing. "Mine too."

"So mate. I have my Gryffindor. How do you plan on getting yours?"

"I don't really have a plan but I will think of something." Draco promised. As he was getting to his feet he said, "I don't know about you but I am about to head to the common room and to bed."

"I am right behind you," Blaise said jumping to his feet also.

They both made their way to the Slytherin common room and up to their dormitory where both got ready for bed.

Blaise stayed awake for a few more hours thinking about the day he had and what he and Ginny will do on their date in Hogsmeade the following day.

Draco also stayed awake for a few more hours thinking about his day. He was also thinking of a plan to win Harry over.
