Man… this is getting pretty confusing with Peter and Pete Ross. And Flash Thompson with the Flash… Haha, hopefully it isn't too confusing for you guys! Here's the next chapter FINALLY!

They crashed in and immediately Clark supersped to two men and knocked them out, and broke their weapons in half. Peter ran for one man shot a web at him and swung him into the other guy beside him. His spidey senses tingled and he turned around just in time to see a man shoot from his bazooka, aimed at Peter. He bent backwards and the shot passed inches from his chest and struck a wall. He flipped over the rest of the way and flexibly got down towards the floor ready for the next attack. Another man barreled towards him unarmed. Peter smirked. Bad choice. He punched the guy and that was the end of that.

Every time Clark punched someone it would send them flying backwards. Whoa, thought Peter. He's stronger than any human being I've ever seen.

Other men ran up to them, but Peter and Clark had no trouble beating them. Peter made a web around two guards so that they couldn't move any limbs, and kicked another man in the shin and shot a web at him and swung him around sending him straight at the other two men sending all three of them to the ground with a thump.

Clark, with little effort, took out a dozen other men. And Peter was pretty sure he heard gunfire, but since Clark had superspeed and impenetrable skin, he didn't worry about it.

Clark nods to Peter and they run over to each other. "We make a pretty good team," Clark remarked.

Peter laughed. "Well, everyone knows you could take out all of these guys in less than 3 seconds. You're just letting me have some of the glory."

Clark started to smile, but then a pained expression came to his face. Not again… Peter thought. Peter helped Clark from falling over again.

A man in all black with a huge gun walked over to them with a bag full of shiny jewelry. "You idiots," he pointed his gun at them, "really think you can stop me."

Peter shrugged. "I've faced way worse than you. I've survived alien symbiotes. More than once. And let me tell you, not fun. Pretty sure I – I mean, we – can beat you."

He cackled. "Ha! You and what army?"

Peter looked down at Clark, who seemed like he was suffering from an open wound. He thought back to all the times when this had happened. The ring, the lock… Both made of that green rock… That stuff that Clark called… kryptonite? Peter was confused why something so small could be a weakness of a man so strong, so invincible… But he knew that had to be it. He noticed that the bag the man was carrying was full of jewelry made of said-kryptonite and then he knew what he had to do. He shot a web at the bag and tossed it to the other side of the room, towards the people who the jewelry was stolen from.

Clark got up, as if on cue, and seeing a chandelier right above the man, shot at the top of it with his heat vision. Before the man could even think, the chandelier fell right on top of him and he became trapped beneath it.

Peter raised a brow. Yet another power. Was he jealous? Maybe a little. But that didn't change the ultimate respect Peter felt for Clark. He was one extraordinary human being. But Peter knew that these abilities couldn't just be from the meteor rocks. It was something far less normal. (Not that getting powers from meteor rocks is normal…) It's not every day that you see someone with abilities as powerful as that.

Peter called 911 afterwards and got out of sight with Clark before the fire trucks and ambulances showed up, and before Jimmy could see that they were the ones who saved the day.

Clark and Peter got back to the farm in no time.

"So… those meteor rocks? They're really what gave you those powers?" Peter asked, raising a brow.

Clark sighed, and exchanged glances with Chloe. "Not exactly, but they are the reason I'm here."

"Huh?" Peter was confused. What did that mean?

Chloe chuckled at Peter's expression.

Clark answered his confusion. "I'm not from Kansas."

"Okay…" Where is this going?

"Or even this planet."

"But… wait, seriously?"

Clark nodded. "I decided to tell you, considering we're fellow superheroes now."

"But doesn't that make you an alien?"

"Yeah, I guess so. I'm a Kryptonian."

"Wait, Kryptonian? That sounds like those rocks you told me about."

"Kryptonite is basically a radioactive element from Krypton. It only affects people from Kryton though. Not humans."

"That sounds complicated. Huh… I've never met anyone from another planet… Unless you count Venom. Those were some bad memories. I knew there had to be something different about you!"

"Were you born with your abilities too?" Clark asked.

"No, I got them from a radioactive spider."

"Oh…"

"Yeah, I guess it's kind of a lame way to get powers," Peter laughed.

"No, that's interesting. Where did it happen?" Chloe said.

"On a school field trip. It kind of changed my life. A lot." Peter turned to Clark. "I guess it's different for you, seeing as you were born this way."

"Yeah, it's hard to imagine a life without my abilities."

Peter nodded. "Wow, I've never been this open to anyone about this stuff. It's cool to meet another superhero. How is it, being the Blur? Is it as hard for you to keep your secret as it is for me?"

"There are some complications," Clark nodded.

Chloe nodded too. "It took him long enough to tell me." She laughed.

"I've never told anyone… Not even my best friend. Of course, right now it seems highly unlikely I ever will considering he wants my alter ego dead…"

Chloe laughed. "That would change things… Um, Peter. I've been thinking about this lately and I have no idea what your answer will be but I have a proposition for you."

"What is it?"

"We have this team of heroes that go on missions, saving the world and all that. I know you aren't much of a team player, but I was just wondering: Would you like to join the Justice League?"

Peter's eyes widened. "The – The Justice League. Wow, that's a huge honor. You're the head of that?"

"I'm Watchtower. I'm the… techy of it."

Peter couldn't believe it. What an opportunity of a lifetime. He heard about this group of heroes, but never in a million years thought that he would be offered a spot on their team. He wanted to say "yes" but at the same time he thought back to Gwen and his Aunt May and even Harry. They needed him back in New York.

"Chloe, I – I'd love to. It sounds amazing, but I can't abandon New York… I've realized on this trip that I have to keep helping them because if I don't no one will."

Chloe nodded. "I understand. The offer is always there if you ever change your mind."

"Thanks," Peter smiled.
