Ah! Second chapter! I am doing pretty good! I am going to speed it up from here however, because the Circus part is kinda fillerish to me and I have killer ideas after this part.

Chapter Seven.

Of Siblings and Adventures.

The lad, his sister and Sebastian followed joker, he quickly gave them a tour of the backstage area, Luna as well as the other kept their eyes open, for anything out of the order. "First these are the tents you guys'll be sleeping in. It's where the backstage workers and newcomers – the second tier members live." Joker explained pointing to the general area and the tents. "About two or three people share a room." Joker opened the tent and the trio peaked in. The leader of the circus continued to point out the first aid tent, the mess hall – which newcomers and second tier members had to be quick about getting the food, and then lastly the private tents which sparked the trio.

"Private?" Ciel asked

"Yes, It's a private room you get if you're real good. Oh, an that's Snake's tent, so stay away from it for your own good. There are a buncha poisonous snakes roaming free so if you get bit even once, you're off to the underworld." Joker pointed out to the one tent that he warned about. "Snake and his friends are still, you know? Careful of their poison you two." The group continued to follower Joker until he finally stopped and asked.

"By the way, what happened to your right eye, Smile?"

Ciel stopped and was shocked for a moment, he rubbed the eye patch over for a second. "Ah, this was an accident."

Joker rubbed over Ciel's cheek with his prosthetic hand and was saddened. " Is that so? So young, yet you've been through a lot" Joker smiled at Ciel and patteed his head. "Ha, Everyone here's been through something so you'll get along well with them," He hugged Ciel and then his sister who embraced him back. "You too as well pretty lady. So don't be shy okay?"

"Did everyone join the tour like we did too?" Sebastian asked, making sure to keep behind Joker.

"Eh?" Joker turned around, his smile still on his face. "It's true for most of the members but the first Tier members are all from the same Hometown. We're all childhood friends. Snake's still a new face however but we needed a snake charmer and his is none too shabby, so he became a member quickly." Joker explained the reason why everyone who was new was working hard to become a first Tier member was that they didn't have to work as hard for food and everything was generally easier.

"All righty then, here is the practice tent, where all the new people practice over and over here." Luna gasped, clapping her hands together as she noticed everyone who was practicing and she was more than just amazed, wanting to try along too, though her brother saw how interesting she was and he elbowed her in the ribs gently, reminding her that they weren't here to dilly-dally. "Work on the basics first, warm up carefully and—" Joker was interrupted by the animal tamer known as Beast.

"Joker!"

"Yes'M."

Beast gave Sebastian a dirty look and Luna immediately knew that was the scent she smelled from the demon the previous night. She made sure to remember it for future reference.

"Go ahead and go all out your two!" And with that, the leader left along with the woman.

"So what are gonna do now?" Luna asked, stretching on her own while watching Sebastian and her brother.

"To enter the private tents, we have to become a first Tier member, however if it's you Sebastian, poisonous snakes shouldn't be a problem right? You could check there to see if the missing children are there or not." Ciel was stretching with the help of his butler.

"They're not." Sebastian said, "I didn't feel any sign of the children's presence last night or during today's tour."

Luna stood up and performed an elegant vertical split holding one of her legs up with her hands and switching to the other. "That may be true Sebastian, however we still have to search every crack and crevice." She flipped gently and landed into a center split.

"Yes ma'am you are right, there's always a possibility that their current condition is such that I cannot sense."

"Don't say such unlucky things. She wishes for the children to return safely."

"Understood."

Lunabelle smiled and watched as Ciel stretched with the butler. He was the cutest thing that she's laid eyes on she constantly had to keep herself under control to not pinch his cheeks or hug him to death. The Young Earl saw this and he glared at her. "What the hell are you staring at?"

Luna shrugged and pulled her brother to him, lifting his bangs to mark his forehead with a purple lipstick mark when she kissed it. Ciel froze for a second and just as quickly he pushed her away. "Stop doing weird things like that!" Luna smiled and bowed in apology.

Sebastian smiled at the siblings until they were interrupted by dagger who asked them separately what program they wanted to be in. Ciel quickly said that he wanted to be in anything else that wasn't tight rope walking, Luna picked acrobatics and Sebastian didn't have any particular preference since he was highly skilled in all.

"Good to hear!" Dagger happily chirped. "If you see anything you like, go ahead and give it a try!" This prompted the demon to show off all of his tricks that he could perform. This impressed Lunabelle greatly, making her attraction towards the demon skyrocket. Dagger was impressed also but he knew he seen enough when Sebastian was going to attempt to swallow a sword. "Okay! Enough enough!" This caused the other members to congratulate the butler happily but Ciel was not happy at all.

"Oi, You're getting too carried away. Act more like a newcomer and not draw attention to yourself!" Ciel snapped.

"Honestly! Another super newcomer's appeared? I won't lose to you, ya know!"

Luna caught wind of what Dagger said so she questioned him for it. "Another? You mean there's another person as good as Sebas-I mean, Black?"

"Yes!" Dagger pointed up to the tightropes to a man who was holding a pole on his hand. "There's this amazing guy who just joined. Look over there. He was some government worker and he's totally serious, see?" Dagger called him down. "Heyy! Come down here for a second!"

Ciel and Sebastian knew immediately who he was Luna faintly remembered the man. She ran into him once before, and she frowned. She remembered her brother telling her that this person and demons don't get along very well, with the exception of Grell Sutcliff who was attracted to the demon but it never bothered her. In fact she found it amusing and always looked forward to the Reaper's antics to annoy Sebastian.

"Suit!" Dagger called out again and waved for him to get down there to speak with Smile, Black and Rainbow.

"T-That's!" Ciel began, knowing who the man was.

"I thought I sensed an unpleasant aura. So it was you, wasn't it?" William T. Spears asked, using his death scythe to descend, nearly hitting between The Earl and his butler. "Honestly. What did you come to fish around for this time, honestly." The Reaper pointed his Scythe at the demon which angered Lunabelle. Her small hands curled into fists and she growled. "You devilish fiend!"

Ciel looked around to see Dagger and the others panic about hearing what the reaper said, though before he could do anything Lunabelle was already in front of Spears, an annoyed look on her face. "Listen here you," She placed her left hand on her hip, pushing away his death scythe away from the line of Sebastian's neck "Quit your blabbering and watch where you point this stupid thing." She poked her manicured index and middle finger on the Reaper's forehead and pushed him away. "You got me?"

This caused the crowd to burst into giggles and Dagger slapped William on the forehead as well and cackled. "Give it up forehead! You said it with such a straight face I couldn't tell if you were joking or not!"

Ciel calmed down and so did his sister. She crossed her arms and let Dagger handle the rest, since they all believed that the more than serious Grim Reaper was joking. "This guy's been joking since he's got here! He's a serious occult fan!"

William slicked back his hair and composed himself once more, whispering gently that he wasn't actually joking though.

"I'll introduce you. These guys just joined to today. The small one here is Smile, then his sister here is Rainbow and the tall guy is Black." He slapped William's and Sebastian's backs. "Well, bond over your dreams and get along well!"

William had another plans and he turned around and walked away. "Sorry, but there;s no way that I'll get along with a savage beast." Dagger was annoyed.

"No way!? The circus is all about teamwork!"

Ciel whispered to Sebastian wondering why in the hell a Grim Reaper was at the circus and the demon answered that a Grim Reaper infiltrating a place is rare and that there is something in this circus for sure. Luna moved over to her boys and whispered to both of them.

"Maybe we should ask him why he's here. He obviously has a goal so we should some information while he's here with us." Ciel agreed and ordered Sebastian before telling Ciel about practicing.

"Come on Smile! You gotta practice extra hard so you won't lose to Rainbow or Black!"

Ciel faked a smile and agreed, though he waved off Luna and the demon to interrogate the Reaper.

"Excuse me, but there's something that I would like you to tell us, sir." Sebastian asked politely as Suit was getting ready to climb a ladder but he never even turned around to acknowledge the female Phantomhive or the demon.

"I have nothing to say to you." Suit retorted, obviously annoyed as he pushed up his glasses arrogantly. Lunabelle's eyes twitched and she stomped towards the Reaper, agitated with his attitude, pulling up the sleeves on her performers outfit.

"Oh trust me, once I get through with you, you're going to have a lot to say, you arrogant—" She was cut off when the demon grabbed her hand and gently pulled her back. Instead, he grabbed Suit's arm and smiled. Once thing Sebastian taught her was to control anger with a smile and politeness. She was still working on it however despite her cheerful personality by default; she could work up a temper just as fast as her brother.

"Don't say that. Let's go outside."

While they were outside, Suit explained to Rainbow and Black that he was merely cleaning up after Grell Sutcliff who was still undergoing his punishment, though he never expected to be picked even though they were in the same class.

"Is it some sort of special situation in this case, then?" Sebastian questioned, Luna standing next to him her hands on her hips as she listened, though once again Suit was being rude again and this triggered Luna's agitation.

"There's no way that I'd release information related to Souls to a demon. It'd be like throwing a rabbit in front of a carnivore." The female Phantomhive began to roll up her sleeves again, but Sebastian placed his hand in front of her, smiling, using this as a reminder to control herself. Luna knew that Sebastian needed human souls in order to survive and she wondered why he was sticking around with her brother this long, however she never questioned it because he was taking care of him and that's the only thing that mattered in her eyes. He was safe, fed, bathed and clothed. So what was behind it all?

"I have no interest in poor-quality souls," Sebastian said with a face that Luna's never seen before. He was dead serious and he was warning Suit to watch what he was saying so he wouldn't spill the truth in front of the Phantomhive.

"Well said for a starving demon, though you cannot help yourself, can you?" Luna listened, watching them both.

"I grew tired of being able to messily sample every dish available a long time ago." Sebastian said, and Luna's attraction toward the demon grew faster as she saw his fangs elongate. She could feel a blush coming on. "Anyways," Sebastian changed the subject, not wanting to go any further to let Luna know about why he was starving himself. "We aren't talking about me Mr. Suit, we were wondering about why you were here."

Suit quickly caught onto this and grinned evilly, pushing up his glasses. "Ah, but I was wondering why you were doing this to yourself. Is it because of that brat? Are you saving you appetite for him? Why don't you show his sister the truth?"

Luna frowned, Sebastian was hiding something. "What do you mean…saving his appetite for my brother?" Her face turned into a disgusted one and she backed away from Sebastian. "What is he talking about, the truth?" Lunabelle asked, her eyes roaming to his gloved hands.

"Oh, you haven't told her yet, demon? You haven't told her why you were doing this whole from the start? Well that's okay, because I'll tell you for him." Suit was then snatched by Sebastian who's anger was slightly kindled.

"That's not really a good idea right now. Don't you think Mr. Suit?"

Luna was angry now. "You let him go right now, Sebastian!" The demon didn't listen and she remembered that she too was royalty and that he was her butler as well. He had to listen to her. "That's an order Sebastian! Let him go!" Her fists were curled tightly as the demon sighed and stepped away from the Reaper, and he continued.

"This fiend is saving his appetite for your brother. Ciel Phantomhive. In order for this to happen however, he has made a contract with him. Haven't you ever wondered why your brother's eye was covered? It's part of a contract they both made together." Suit smiled, proud of himself for what he's said, though Sebastian was beyond angry, what was he going to say to his Young Master? What could they do to calm down his sister now? How was she going to—

Black's thoughts were cut short when he felt the slap of anger from Luna and when he laid eyes on her face, the anger in her face was akin to the demons that dwelled deeply in hell. She was panting, her face turning many shades of red as she tried to comprehend what the Reaper just said. She was too angry for words so Suit decided to continue on. "I'll say this clearly. In a few days, there will be an inspection of a large quantity of souls. This is a special case so please refrain from getting in my way."

"Well then," Black figured he could talk to Luna in a second, "How difficult to handle alone. But this large quantity of souls, Shall a demon like me offer assistance with them?" This time, Luna angrily stood to the side and watched Suit attack Sebastian with his death scythe, though he merely clipped his top hat.

"I won't forgive any overtime. If you interfere, I'll reap you. Though it seems I may refrain from doing that since you have other problems to handle." Suit pointed to the furious Luna who merely stood by.

"Hey," Ciel popped out, "That noisy knife thrower is calling."

Suit decided to tug at their problems a bit more. "I don't see him being that kind of high class goods, But…" He shook his head in annoyance. "Honestly, demons are so…"

"You!" Ciel interrupted, warning him to keep their secret quiet when around the humans, if they had believed it, they would have to do something about it.

"Really, we shall not interfere with you job, so will you keep from doing the same to ours?" Sebastian asked, though he was more worried about Ciel's sister who was still too angry to form words.

"I am grateful, though I suggest to quit worrying about me and tend to other matters," The Reaper suggested, looking to the now red Luna. "Have a good day," The Reaper merely turned around and escorted himself out of view while Sebastian looked to Ciels fuming sister.

"She found out sir."

Ciel's annoyed expression quickly changed from a surprised one and before he knew it, he was viewing his butler being slapped twice on both cheeks.

"How dare you." She snarled at her baby brother. "How dare you throw your life away! What is the meaning of this contract Ciel?" She angrily grabbed Sebastian's hand and pulled down his glove revealing the Faustian Contract. She then ripped away Ciel's eye patch, glaring angrily at the purple symbol in his eye. "You're literally selling you soul to this….demon? Why? Why are you doing this Ciel!? What's more important than you own life?" She snapped, tears in her eyes.

Ciel was shocked by his sister anger, though he didn't let it phase him. Instead he snatched his eyepatch back and stepped away from his sister. "I have my reasons Lunabelle. I want to get revenge for mother and father and I will do whatever it takes to see that Sebastian makes that happen. Sebastian can help me attain revenge and no one, not even you can stop me. The deal has already been done and there is no turning back."

"Ive dedicated my life while gone to protect you Ciel! I worked and trained hard to become worthy of being your sister again and this is how it all ends up? You're getting revenge for our parents who have been dead for years now? You're going to die just for that when you can live on and make it better?" She stepped back, her anger withering slowly. "You're not the same Ciel I was raised up with…" She muttered.

Ciel frowned back and shrugged. "People change for better or for worse Lunabelle. You know this. Don't pin this all on me!"

Luna's tears fell and she sobbed silently. "I wanted to take care of you… I wanted to start over and become your family again. Because I love you Ciel, please…please don't throw away your life like this…don't …" She hiccupped and could speak no more. This truly got to Ciel and he was silent.

"What's done is done Luna. What I need you to do right now as a sister to support my choice. That's the only thing that I need from you." He told her. "Sebastian won't hurt me, he has protected me this long and he won't stop…until our contract is up. I am safe." He told her, trying to get her to see through the dark side of the contract. "Please say that you will support Sebastian and I?" He grabbed his sisters hands and held them in his, waiting for her answer.

"Milday…" The butler began and was cut off.

"Just…give me a few days to let it sink in. It's just a lot to take in right now," She said, quickly drying up her tears.

Ciel smiled gently and raised Luna's bangs up and planted a feather-light kiss to her forehead.

"Thank you, sister."

Ah! Well I do believe that this is a good ending spot!
