By the time that the Hayden family left that evening, the list contains ten possible names for each twin. Lorelai looks over this list of names careful instead of watching the movie on the television:

Unknown to Lorelai, Christopher lays in bed writing down his two favourite names from tonight's list. He comes up with Christina Victoria Hayden and Lily Marie Gilmore.

Weeks have past since that fateful day when baby names were brought up for the first time. Now everybody knows that Lorelai is pregnant with twin girls because she is now almost eight months pregnant. Each of the girls have been prepared in their respective homes. In the Hayden household, Francine has hired a professional to create a Princess nursery in a former guest room. Along with buying the most fashionable clothes to dress the infant in and interviewing different nannies as well. Well in the Gilmore home, it's been low key since Lorelai decided to have the nursery in her own bedroom. Just by their nurseries you can tell they are going to be raised in two different environments,
