I noticed Alex looked strange. I thought of shaking him, but instead I talked to him.
"Alex? Hello?" I asked, waving my arm in front of his face. He replied with a gibberish mumble.
"Well, he's still alive." I muttered to myself. I shrugged and looked at Pyre. He didn't see what just happened. Then Alex looked fine again. Well, not so fine as he was looking around in an utter panic. He then glanced at the little blue blob.
"Is something the matter?" It asked. Alex opened his mouth to say something, but before he was able to say anything, the bigger blue blob yelled
"Hey, Azurill! What's going on? Hurry home!"
"Yup! I'm coming! Wait up!" Azurill turned around and met with the bigger blue blob, who I could guess had a "rill" in it's name.
"Are you all right?" The bigger "rill" asked. "Yup!" Azurill said energetically.
"We're done with our shopping, now we gotta look for the item we lost! Let's get going." The bigger "rill" said.
"Yup! I'm coming!" Azurill said. They left quickly.
"Ha! Those little guys are cute." Pyre said.
"Oh? What's the matter, Alex?" Pyre said, just noticing his strange actions.
"I heard someone scream for help."
"Huh?" Pyre wondered. He turned to the shop keepers.
"Hey, kecleon, did you hear anything weird?" Pyre asked.
"Hm? No, I didn't hear anything out of the ordinary." They said.
"See, Alex, you must have been day dreaming. Alex didn't seem to think so. We started walking away.
Alex then said "I need to talk to Allen for a moment."
"Okay," Pyre said. Alex pulled me to the side.
"You believe me, right?" Alex asked.
"I know you looked like you left the world." I admitted.
"I know what I heard, that was azurill."
"Well, if you did hear it, that is odd, but since we don't know why you heard it, we might have to ignore it."
"But-" Alex started. I interrupted him.
"If you hear anything else, tell me, but we don't know if you were just tired. There is no need to be impatient. If something happens, we can do something. Besides, even if it did happen, why?" I said.
"What do you mean 'Why?' " Alex asked.
"I mean why did it happen, why would you hear azurill's voice yell for help? How would you have heard azurill's call for help? I don't think you can predict the future, so why?" I responded and asked.
"I-I don't know." Alex admitted.
"Besides, even if you can predict the future, we don't know enough information. Where azurill is when it is calling for help. We don't know that, there is just not enough information." I said. Alex sighed and nodded his head. We met up with Pyre and started leaving. We noticed the Azurill and the bigger 'rill' talking to a creature with a large nose. It was yellow on the top half of it's body and brown on it's bottom half. It was walking on two legs and had a scar across it's face and nose.
"Yay!" One of them yelled.
"Hey, what's with the commotion?" Pyre asked.
"You know how we were looking for a item, well, drowzee here said he may have seen an item like that!" The bigger 'rill' exclaimed.
"I just want to help. You would have to have a cold heart to ignore children in need," Drowzee said.
"That's great!" Pyre cheered. They left quickly to find the item. However, on the way out drowzee bumped into Alex.
"Oh, excuse me." He apologized.
"What a nice Pokemon." Pyre said. Alex didn't hear him, as he apparently was losing focus and drifted off somewhere once more.
"Again?" I wondered. Pyre was oblivious to what was happening. After a few seconds, he blinked and was back. He looked at me, and I knew something was wrong.
"Oh? Is something wrong?" Pyre wondered. Alex nodded, and we walked to the duskull bank. Alex explained he saw drowzee holding azruill captive.
"We have to save him," Alex said.
"Alex, it's not that I don't believe you, it's just that it's hard to believe," Pyre said. It was true, drowzee seems nice, so why would Alex accuse him of kidnapping? Alex thought about it for a moment and shrugged.
"Okay, let's get back to the guild. Bidoof is waiting."
"Oh yeah! It felt like we've been gone for a long time!" I shouted. We hurried back to the guild, where bidoof was waiting.
"Sorry, we got caught in something." Pyre apologized.
"It's okay. Now, let's choose an outlaw for you to get."
"Nothing too scary," Pyre almost shouted.
"I hear ya," Bidoof said.
Before he did anything, someone shouted "Stand clear! Updating job board! Stand clear! Updating!"
"Huh?" I wondered.
"Oh, that's just dugtrio. He updates the job board and outlaw board." The board flipped around.
"Whoa!" Pyre shouted in surprise.
"The boards are on revolving hinges. The job doesn't get noticed often, but it is extremely important." Bidoof said. After a while, we heard Dugtrio.
"Updating complete! Stand clear! Updating complete! Stand clear!" Dugtrio yelled. The board flipped back. Pyre was looking at the board when he started shaking.
"Huh? Is something wrong? It's not cold here." Bidoof wondered.
"Alex, Allen, look! At the top, on the left!" Pyre shook a lot more. The picture was of a drowzee with a scar across it's face and nose.
"No!" I shouted.
"It's him! The kids are in danger! We have to rescue them!" Pyre shouted. Alex and I nodded and the three of us rushed out.
"Hey, where are you going!" Bidoof shouted. We ignored him and quickly left. When we got to the crossroads, we found the bigger 'rill' pacing. I was glad he was safe.
"Marill!" Pyre shouted.
"Oh!" Marill exclaimed.
"Do you know where azurill is?" I asked
"No! I lost them after a while!"
"Do you know where they went?" Alex asked quickly.
"Yes, follow me." We followed him to a mountain.
"Mt. Bristle. This place is dangerous. Are you sure you saw them go into here?" Pyre asked.
"Yes. I'm certain."
"Okay, then let's go!" Pyre shouted. We entered the dungeon, determined to rescue Azurill.
