Hello everyone! Thanks for being patient (^_^).
I know I have been on a loooooooooong hiatus. I sincerely apologise(thousand times with a deep bow) .
I am so grateful to you all for continuing to favourite and review the chapters. God bless you (*_*)
The past year has been quite distracting…exams, changing residence, getting used to new workplace etc….(=_=). Yet, I don't intend to give up on this fanfic ( I have completed it and turned it into an anime in mind (*-*) )
The updates would be slow…but i will try to make them weekly…I look forward to your responses. (^_^)
Act 7 scene 1
Dreams are the mirrors of our subconscious mind. They are by no means merely the images perceived when the chemicals inside a brain in slumber decide to dance and move the eyes with themselves. They reveal our intentions, hopes, fantasies, past & fears. Everyone dreams each night but we only remember the dreams we saw just few minutes before getting up. What we see affects our body as well; haven't we all at least once in our lives woken up from a scary dream sweating and panting as if we were running a marathon?
She did not know why, but she was in great distress. She didn't know where she was going, but wherever the road was leading her she did not want to go. So she was walking at a snail's pace, her back bent, her face pale and her hands clenching a paper to her chest. Wait, what paper?
Sure that it was the reason of her fear she stole a glance at it.

Dread filled her; it began as an oppressive sensation inside her chest and spread to her knees and head. It took her time to realise that she had reached her destination. In front of her a tall, slim dark haired woman stood scowling in her business suit. She saw the paper in her hands and grabbed it; her golden eyes blazed and the paper was torn into shreds.
Only a single syllable exited Kyouko's lips , "Mother!".
Kyouko woke up as tears streamed from her eyes down her face. She did not get nightmares often nowadays.
Her mother had always wanted a 100/100 in little Kyouko's test results. Anything less than that was considered a failure. The kind of woman Saena Mogami was….it wasn't a surprise when she abandoned her own daughter.
Kyouko had a lot to be thankful of, her foster parents had looked after her well enough. But then there was their son Sho.
Shoutaro Fuwa was another chapter of her life she hoped had never happened. When she realised he merely thought of her as a maid, all her devotion and love for him did a back flip and turned into hatred. As old suppressed memories threatened to spill out ,she began taking deep breaths.
She successfully calmed herself before the adrenalin rush of anger instigated by memories of Sho destroyed anything. She took a deep breath and settled her mind; then it struck her.
"COORN!"
In the dark room she dug into her luggage and sure enough there it was, her precious gemstone.
Clutching it to her chest ,as if it were her life line , she crept towards the window and held it up.
When the cool rays of a full moon touched it, the stone sprang to life. A slight twist of the wrist, and the colour purple gave place to remarkably clear blue.
…..Corn take my pain away….
It was hard to imagine a sight more magical. A young girl bathed in moonlight sat near the window as if in a prayer , with a tear in the corner of her eye and a stone in her hands.
She heaved a sigh of relief. The fog lurking over her mind seemed to lift. She went to sleep with the stone still with her.
Feeling more optimistic than usual ,our tall, translucent and handsome hero walked straight into Kyouko's room first thing in the morning.
…...*%#!
Within microseconds a wide eyed Ren stood outside her door breathing heavily with his heart pounding at furious rates.
He had certainly not expected Mogami san to be in the procedure of dressing . Her image kept on replaying itself in his mind. Her narrow waist, blossoming curves, smooth skin, slender arms and killer legs…..
Out ,out , oouut…
In technical terms his eyes had scanned the entire image and saved it . He was furiously trying to delete it…..and failing miserably.
Meanwhile the little lamb was innocently looking behind her shoulders, trying to ascertain where the gush of wind had come from.
By the time she was out the wolf had composed his exterior and was sitting in the restaurant . He greeted her politely while avoiding eye seemed slightly different this morning. Somehow reminding him of a daisy that had survived a storm .
Kyouko knew that she had a long day ahead. She felt for her 'corn ' inside her purse . As soon as her fingers touched the cool surface a soothing vibration pulsed through her body. Rejuvenated, she greeted the Okami and Taisho .
The kind landlady and her stern looking husband were perhaps the only ones she could count as 'family'. They had taken her in when Sho had thrown her out.
The thought of him sent clouds swirling above her head.
As if on a cue ,her phone rang.
"Moko san !"
" Mo Kyouko don't shout like that. I might have lost an ear drum. Listen now, it seems that the Interpol wants access to Tsuruga sans apartment as well . So we have been assigned time slots to investigate that place. Mo restrictions would be a hindrance. But we might get some info from them. Just get here in in 10 minutes, I am not patient at waiting."
Kanae dropped the call before Kyouko could reply. Kyouko herself was a little taken aback; with a lost puppy expression she wondered if she had done something to make Moko san mad at her.
She failed to notice a lanky figure right behind her. Soon smooth lips belonging to a certain someone were hauntingly close to her ear canal.
"So, what's the news Mogami san?" , he breathed into her ear.
"Aeeeeee!"
A certain figure with auburn hair had for no reason high jumped four feet into the air.
If it wasn't the proximity then it would have been the lustful look that glazed his eyes for a moment, either way Kyouko was assured that the ghostly image of the famous programmer wasn't good for her cardiac health.
" Don't do something like that again…" she bristled angrily, " Manipulative playboy" she added under her breath .
