Tsuna ran through the school, worried about running into Hibari again... not that he really had a choice. Not if he wanted to get to Takiru. Classes had already started. There was hardly anyone in the corridor, but once or twice a teacher had called out to him to stop running in the halls and to get to class. He had called back a "Yes!" and continued on. He considered himself lucky though that he hadn't tripped over anything, including his own feet, yet. That would have been bad, especially with an injured Lambo and young assassin still in his arms.

Tsuna reached his classroom and stopped just enough not to ram into the door, but he hadn't counted on one thing: the teacher was already in class! How was he going to get Kyoko-chan to take the children!? Tsuna started to panic once again. There was no way he could get out of class again if he got caught and dragged back into the classroom and the teacher would definitely send the kids to the infirmary.

"Now how am I supposed to go up to where Takiru-san is?"

'Even though Reborn-san told you to go up to him…' Tsunayoshi added, panicking again.

"No way…" Tsuna said quietly, feeling utterly and completely beat.

"Tsuna-san?" A girl's voice surprised him from behind, making the brunette jump and yell out.

Instantly, the teacher inside his class called out to whoever was outside. Tsuna could hear the footsteps quickly coming closer. "Class has already started! Why haven't you gone to-" The teacher stopped mid-sentence after opening the door. There was no one in the corridor. No person to be seen at all. The teacher hummed to himself suspiciously, went back inside the classroom, and closed the door.

"Eh?" Tsuna blinked twice, wondering what had just happened. The teacher had been right in front of him. There was no way the teacher shouldn't have seen him, but somehow it had happened.

"Please don't…," the soft voice he had heard before was behind him, making Tsuna quickly spin around. That voice... it was the same; the hesitant nature to speak out was there too. There was no way Tsuna could have mistaken that voice for another's. Because, out of all of his Guardians, there was only one who was as sweet and soft-spoken as this.

"Chrome-chan!"

'Chrome-chan!'

Takiru watched the woman standing in front of him. Her maroon-colored hair whipped around her in what would have been elegant… if only she wasn't trying to kill him. She was the same person who had tried to poison him a few days ago, but now it seemed he had forced her hand into an outright battle. He mentally sighed, cursing his now-ruined peaceful lunchtime.

He had asked as to why she tried to poison him the last time they had met and her reasoning still irritated him. If the woman wanted to take Reborn with her then she should just go do it! At least his life would be that much more peaceful without the Spartan baby constantly shattering his previously calm life away.

The maroon-haired woman threw another large cake that had purple fumes rising from it and strange ingredients poking out. Takiru thought. Both of the teenagers dodged away from the cake, ignoring it as it flew past them. Takeshi moved away from Takiru, trying to get closer to her from the side.

'Were those worms and… some sort of tail sticking out on the side?!' Takiru glanced back at the cake as it melted down the chained fence that prevented falls. The woman started bringing out more 'ingredients', throwing them more and more recklessly as she tried to hit Yamamoto.

Yamamoto on the other hand was started to sweat, his usual smile no longer there. He eyed the fumes dangerously; his body seemed extremely reluctant to get any closer to the female. Takiru sighed slightly. This was getting too ridiculous.

'If Hibari saw this roof before it was fixed, he will go into a rage.' Takiru thought, before moving towards the woman. He walked slowly over to the women, keeping careful watch of her movements while lazily dodging the offending objects coming from her hands. How she could even carry that much food remained a mystery to Takiru, not that he really cared.

'So this is Bianchi… also known Poison Scorpion Bianchi,' Takiru thought. It was no wonder, since all of the food she kept bringing out emitted dangerous purple smoke. Reborn had mentioned her the last time when he asked about a female assassin that killed people through poison. Takiru was told that she was said to be 'good' at what she did. Apparently, Reborn decided not to tell the whole truth. Her poison cooking was seriously dangerous. Takeshi finally managed to get behind her, determined to take her by surprise. Unfortunately, she managed to avoid them again, jumping away and sending more of her poison cookies or whatever towards them.

'Damn maifiosi.' He thought as Bianchi paused on the other side of the roof. Suddenly, she pulled out a large amount of food, throwing them all around the area. Takashi was completely surrounded on all sides, eyeing all of them and keeping clear of all the fumes. Takiru managed to retreat backwards and move towards Takeshi, keeping a distance away from the food but still within reach in case he needed to bail the baseball ace out. After all, he had no intention of sending Dame-Tsuna into 'protective mode' anytime soon.

Bianchi stopped and brought her hand slowly up. Takiru watched her warily, wondering what the hell she was going to attempt. She smirked and flipped her fingers gracefully. At that motion, all of the food she threw exploded outwards, encasing nearly the entire roof in purple fog. Takiru jumped out of the fog and kept his back to the fence, one hand covering his nose and mouth and the other carrying a semi-conscious Takeshi who was struggling to keep his mouth and nose covered. Takiru cursed into his arm before pulling Takeshi up and pushing him into the fence, Takeshi's face facing away from the poison and into fresh air.

The smoke cleared slightly, revealing Bianchi standing with a hand on her hip. A gas mask was covering her face. Takiru narrowed his eyes.

"Posion Scorpion Bianchi, stop involving everyone else in this." Takiru demanded in a monotone voice. Bianchi took off her gas mask, frowning from seeing Takiru unharmed.

"Don't think this is over yet, Decimo. When you are murd-… dead, I'll have Reborn-kun back. You're fortunate that I happen to have run out of food, so I'll return home for now." She replied, moving to the half-damaged fence. "I will come back for my Reborn-kun. And I won't let you get in my way." Takiru watched as she jumped off the roof and landed gracefully on a shorter building below before disappearing from sight.

"Of course you will. I welcome you to take him away anytime you want. Just don't interfere with my plans and you'll be fine, Miss Bianchi."

The softly spoken threat filled with the promise of humiliation was taken by the wind, far away from any ears.

Once he was sure Bianchi was gone, Takiru turned to observe the baseball ace that lay there by his side now unconscious.

'At the least he'll live.' Takiru thought.

Suddenly, Takiru felt a jolt in his consciousness. His senses went on alert, sending his body instantly into defense mode. He bent his knees slightly, legs parting for balance; his hands formed a fist and came up to protect his face from any incoming attacks. He shifted away from the downed Takeshi, moving slowly as if approaching a frightened animal. Though, in this case, it seemed like he was approaching a deadly one instead. Whatever was coming at him now… only he's fighting it! He really didn't need Dame-Tsuna changing more than he already had these past few days.

The silence was interrupted when the next moment the door burst open to reveal none other than the leader of the Namimori Middle Disciplinary Committee, Hibari. Takiru watched the prefect take in moment to assess the damage to the school roof and the split-second timing to associate the damage to the teen standing defensively on the other side of the clearing. Takiru barely had time to dodge the incoming tonfa aimed right at his head. Takiru jumped back, avoiding the second tonfa hidden in his blind spot as another jolt shot through his consciousness.

Takiru settled back into a defensive position, readying himself for a fight that was unavoidable. The damn skylark was pissed; it wasn't going to be easy stopping him or escaping unscathed this time. He glanced back towards Takeshi as the baseball ace shifted a bit from where he lay. It seemed he was finally recovering from the poisonous gas that he had inhaled. Still, he wasn't conscious enough to know what was currently happening. It took a some effort for Takiru to not to snort at that. Takeshi and the pup were beaten way too easily the last time they fought the Disciplinary Committee's head. It had taken Dame-Tsuna's interference to stop their injuries from becoming even more serious. He took it as a good thing that the baseball player would be down for the count by default. Ignoring the baseball star, Takiru continued to defend against the raging skylark and easily aimed Hibari's attentions away from Takeshi.

'Where the hell is Reborn when you need him?!' Takiru thought harshly, blocking another attack from the pissed prefect.

"Chrome-chan! What are you doing here?" Tsuna asked. He was surprised to see the soft spoken girl here at this time. Tsunayoshi seemed to have met the girl way earlier than when he first met Chrome in his world.

'How does Chrome know my name? And when did Tsunayoshi meet her?' Tsuna thought. He was about to ask Tsunayoshi when he was interrupted by the soft voice again.

"Tsuna-san. Do you need help?" she asked softly, still very shy around him.

Tsuna stood watching his to-be-the-next-mist-guardian blankly before his mind caught back up with the situation. "HIIEE! That's right! Takiru-san needs help and I have to find someone to take care of the kids!" Tsuna yelled softly, keeping his voice low in order to avoid suspicious teachers and to not wake the sleeping infants in his arms.

"But Chrome-chan, are you sure?" Tsuna asked.

'She likes children, Tsuna.' Tsunayoshi finally spoke up. 'Please don't make her worry,' Tsunayoshi requested before Tsuna felt himself get pushed back.

All of a sudden, Tsuna found himself frozen in darkness, unable to move or speak. He couldn't even look away from the nothingness he saw surrounding him. Then, Tsuna felt a jolt. His body started moving and speaking again, but it wasn't him that responded to Chrome. It was Tsunayoshi.

"Chrome-chan, I-I'm sorry. I forg-got that you were coming to my school to meet m-me today." Tsunayoshi spoke quietly. Tsuna wondered if this was how Tsunayoshi felt whenever Tsuna took full control of their shared body.

"B-but Chrome-chan, could you p-please help me? Takiru-san needs me up there," Tsunayoshi asked while pointing up towards the roof, "but I can't take the children with me. They might get hurt." For a moment Tsunayoshi sounded determined and strong, albeit in a slightly quieter way than Tsuna would have spoken. Tsuna felt warmth fill the dark and cold void. Finally, Tsuna could see what Tsunayoshi was seeing and hearing clearly again.

'Why did Tsunayoshi's determination chase away the dark and the cold? Does this happen to Tsunayoshi too when he's not in control? I'll have to ask him later.' Tsuna thought as he thought about Takiru, Takeshi, and Bianchi. They needed to get to the roof now.

What he saw next shocked him, but he felt warmth envelope him more than the moment before. Chrome, the silent and shy Guardian who barely ever spoke to him and entire Famiglia apart from Mukuro's gang, was smiling happily at Tsunayoshi's request for help. Her smile was wider and brighter than he had ever seen on his world's Chrome.

'Eh?! Why?' Tsuna thought for a moment. He really wanted to know if there was a way to make the Chrome in his world smile like this: a happier and more frequent smile. 'Is it because of the way I am around her?' the dark thought filtered through his head. 'Am I the reason why she doesn't really feel at home?'

Tsuna was broken out of his thoughts as Tsunayoshi handed over the children carefully to his not-yet Mist Guardian. He thanked her quietly and then turned towards the stairs, running as fast possible without stumbling. The next moment Tsuna found himself in the front seat of their body again, trying not to trip as they climbed the stairs. Tsuna put his thoughts and the urge to have a long talk with Tsunayoshi aside for later, probably when they were back at home.

"I hope I'm not late…" Tsuna whispered. Tsuna and Tsunayoshi both whimpered at the thought of such a possibility.
