When Lark awoke, she had forgot completely what had happened the night before, and you can imagine her fear once she woke in a unfamiliar place and with another body nearby and her jerk and attempt to shoot up and look around awoken Lloyd, who's hair was a mess, it was cutely funny.

Lloyd flung his hand out and tried his hardest to calm her down. "Shh, hey, you're still here." He attempted to reassure. "See, everyone is still around and sleeping."

Lark calmed down and feel back against Lloyd, earning a small "oomph" from him.

"Sorry." She whispered. "I just. Forgot and got really scared. Since Ninjago isnt the best place to live." Lark tried to explain her reasoning, that was partly true, but there was more to the story. Everyone kinda just got used to the damger by now.

"Don't worry, you don't have to explain it, you have a right to freak out." Lloyd muttered tiredly, leaning back against the couch.

Lark sighed. "I guess." She whispered. "I'll make breakfast for everyone, what time is it?" She asked.

Lloyd leaned over her and grabbed his phone and looked at the time once it's heat activation kicked in.

"It's eight thirty nine." He mumbled. "Geez, we haven't slept that long in such a long time."

Lark gingerly touched his chest, and he was reminded that he was over her. "Really? That must suck." She said quietly.

Lloyd put his phone back down on the table and pushed back against the couch and said. "Sorry."

Lark's hand still rested on his chest and she leaned forward and sighed. "It's fine."

Lloyd and Lark laid like that for a few minutes, wrapping his arms around Lark during that time, starting to dose off again.

It was when Lark finally moved her hand did Lloyd become alert again and he moved his arms from her. It was like a certain thing just dragged them to each other.

"I should make breakfast for everyone." She sighed.

Lloyd let out a small noise but wasn't moving. "Do you have to? Don't you want to just stay?"

"Never thought you'd like cuddles." Lark giggled, but not complaining.

"Usually I don't." He grumbled. "I just want your cuddles."

Lark shifted closer and moved her head closer to him. "Im a stranger." She reminded him gently.

Lloyd returned the action and moved much closer to her. "No youre not. Ive know you for quite some time." He responded to her, when suddenly.

"Hey Lloyd!" Misako spoke up, popping her head in the room.

Lark and Lloyd both suddenly pushed each other away and Lark fell off the couch.

"Ow!" Lark cried out, slamming against her arm.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, Lark! Honey, are you okay?" Misako asked her, concern in her eyes.

"Yeah." Lark groaned.

Lloyd jumped to his feet and pulled Lark to her feet, giving her arm a small check.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Misako apologized once again. "Did I interrupt something?" She asked.

"No." Lark began.

"Actually, yes." Lloyd said with a small glare.

Lark blushed and suddenly was pulled closer to Lloyd, her entire face red.

"Oh, I'm terribly sorry!" She apologized. "I'll leave you two be." With that, Misako left the room quickly

"What's happening?" Ronin grumbled, blinking open his rusty brown eyes.

Lloud pressed his forehead against Lark's and said. "Sorry to wake you, Ronin."

"Are you sure I'm awake?" He groaned ince he spotted how close the two 'L's were. He slammed his head against the couch slightly at this sight.

Irene let out a small squeak and pulled away from her husband slightly, waking from her sleep too. "Huh?" She whimpered out.

Lark and Lloyd look to the two and Lark smiled and said. "Now I can make breakfast."

Lloyd sighed. "Fiiiiiine." He leaned towards her and said. "You have fun."

"I'll try." Lark smiled shyly. Ignoring Ronin and Irene, who were ignoring them just as much as they were them.

Lloyd and Lark stared into each others eyes. She and Lloyd began to lean into each other and soon their lips connected together gently. Lark and Lloyd closing their eyes as they did so. Lloyd moved his hands down to her waist and Lark moved her hands to his cheek and the back of his head. That was when it hit both of them.

Lloyd jerked away first, his eyes revealing so many emotions.

Lark yearned for his touch, but the second he jerked away, she realized it. He didn't like her like that. He... he had to of hated her. Tears formed in her eyes. She knew he hated her. He had to of. Lark turned off and ran off, the tears starting to fall. Why was she such a fool? Everything just seemed so perfect in those few seconds. She was stupid for thinking someone could like her after her ex. He was right. She was a pathetic piece of trash that no one would ever love

For Lloyd it was the opposite. He liked her a lot more. He was a dragon oni afterall, he heard dragons could fall in love surprisingly fast and could find their soulmates quickly if they're not thinking about it and focus on growing their relationship with a dragon they considered a friend, she was a human. But seeing her run off, it confirmed his suspicions. He forced back his emotions and only turned when he heard a low sigh from Irene.

That's when he was reminded that everyone was in the room, and that Ronin and Irene were awake. He looked over to them and saw that neither were looking at him, but rather where Lark disappeared too, and were both now in fact standing.

"Will she be okay?" Irene asked.

"You have fun with cleaning that mess." Ronin grumbled at the same time, Irene lightly smacking his shoulder for that.

Lloyd hung his head slightly. "I'll figure it out." He mumbled.

"Not quite reassuring, but positive thoughts." Ronin shrugged. Irene giving him a small glare.

"Im sure it'll work out fine." Irene said in her soft voice, kissing her husband's cheek lightly.
