I do not own Invader Zim or Men In Black okay? But then again, do you need me saying that for seven chapters for you to know that? I am sorry about the long update, I mean it was literally years before I did but I got my spark back and decided to dust off some of my old favorites. I mean the faves and reviews don't lie. But enough of this A/N, on with the fic!

"Well now, that is interesting." Zed said after Dib had a chance to display his Meekrob powers. "You could really use that in tough situations."

"I could?" Dib asked with a little bit of hope.

"Yep. But I would keep those powers under wraps until needed kid. Neuralizers cannot be used on people too much. I know there is a lot of things I wish we could make people forget. Like that drunk alien drag race over Stevenville Texas back in January." Zed said. "But to keep MIB's peacemaking and refugee helping reputation son, save that power for the worst of offenders your noisy cricket can't stop. No using to to deliver Boovienen slug babies."

"I am never going to live that down am I?" Dib asked.

"Nope Agent D," Agent J said.

Meanwhile, Tenn was taking some of the books she had just finished cataloging to the shelves they were to be placed on. The cart had everything from books about history, to Shakespeare analysis to calculus to cook books. This part of the library was hardly used, as most people on Earth seemed to prefer what most people called to "just Google it." Even being from a technologically superior race that could summon information faster then the humans ever could with their computers, these books she was handling felt precious. No power was needed and they seemed to hold a presence to them that made them scared to the most intelligent. Tenn picked up the first book which happened to be about pistols of the old American west. "Huh..." She said looking at the book and thinking of her old ray gun. Sure it worked better than an old west pistol but there was a certain art to it. "The more things advance in technology, the uglier they become." She said admiring the engraving on one of the guns in the picture. As an Invader, (or at least a former Invader) the appreciation of weapons and warfare never fully went away. But with useless leaders putting her against the second most feared empire in the galaxy (after the Irkens) with only defective SIR units tended to make her question the mission she was sent on. All her training told her you need to be well supplied and make sure your weapons are in good working condition. If the Tallest wanted Meekrob, they'll have someone else do it now. She decided that all Tenn wanted was peace.

As she went down the line, she picked a Thai cookbook from the cart to put on the shelf. Reading the call number on the book's spine, she knew that it went on the top shelf. Tenn stood on her tip-toes and moved one side of books with her free hand. The book slipped out of her hand, falling down and hitting on her forehead.

"Ow!" She yelled rubbing her hand against the bruise on her forehead. Tenn bent over and picked up the book. It had fallen open on a page for 'meekrob'. She shuddered as she saw the name of the recipe and slammed the book shut. "I never thought I'd see the word 'meekrob' again." Tenn said with disgust as she put the book up.

"So, you must be the Irken Invader named Tenn that was trying to take over Meekrob. You are now a new librarian named Tennisha Irakania." Chowfun said as he was floating in a corner concealed. Tenn was disguised as a young woman of about 20, with long red braids, glasses that helped to control the disguise, wearing a black blouse with a red sweater over it and a long black skirt of modest design with black dress boots with a slight heel. It had seemed that if not for the comment about meekrob, she would pass for a normal human girl with an interest in guns of the old west and had an aversion to Thai food. Chowmein began to charge his assassination beam when Lomein stopped him.

"No." Lomein said simply.

"Why?" Chowfun asked suppressing his anger.

"We are not completely certain it is her." Lomein explained. "While yes, the look does remind me of the color scheme of an Irken's outfit, and she shuddered at the human food of the same name as our mighty race, that is not enough to say she is an Irken Invader. This female must be observed closely." Lomein explained.

"Why can't I just kill her and be done with it?!" Chowmein said glowing red with anger.

"We are not to harm humans. What we did with Dib was bad enough! We modified his DNA slightly but that was not a crime." Lomein explained. "Any allies we may get to use against Irk would be lost. The Plookesians are deciding who to side with and if we harm humans, they'll stay out." He noticed Chowfun's disappointment. :Besides, we are energy. Waiting is not a problem for us. It won't matter and if she is Irken Invader Tenn, she will slip up again."

"Fine." Chowfun sulked. As much as he hated to admit it, Lomein was right. Meekrob could not take on Irk by themselves. Especially not now when the superior engineers of Vort were under their total control. Vort used to make military technology for all races, but when Irk took them over, that talent became for the use of Irk only. "But it is agreed we never stop observing this girl."

"Agreed." Lomein said.

At this time, Tenn looked up and back towards where Chowfun and Lomein were at. They quickly turned invisible as she turned back around and shrugged. "Must be seeing things." She said. "I will have to ask Miss Jefa about ghosts here. I heard a few humans from this town called 'Las Vegas' mention the history of ghosts leaving slimy ectoplasm." But there could be something more there... Her Invader instincts No one knows my true identity here She thought as she headed back to the main desk. It was here the head librarian Miss Jefa was sitting with a pile of old worn out books.

"Ummm... Miss Jefa have there ever been ghost reports at this library? I mean I heard those three guys from Las Vegas talking about it and I felt a presence when I was putting away some of the books on the last cart." Tenn said, hoping that it wasn't the Meekrob, that there could have been ghosts.

"There have been sightings, one even left a ton of ectoplasm in the 1980's." Miss Jefa said.

"Do you think they are real?" Tenn asked.

"Maybe, won't say definitely until I see more definite proof, I won't say for sure." Miss Jefa said returning to her books.

"What are you doing there with those books Miss Jefa?" Tenn asked with curiosity.

"Discarding some old books." Miss Jefa said as she inked a stamp that said 'Discard' and then adjusted another to the day's date.

"Why?" Tenn asked.

"They are just old. We bought some new copies and don't need these ones anymore." She explained as she finished discarding the book and placed it in a box under the desk beside her.

"So what do you do with them?" Tenn asked looking at the books.

"Donate them to charity, or if you are like me you keep some." She said with a smile and a wink as she put a copy of 2001: A Space Odyssey in a bag beside the box under her desk. "Just finally saw the movie."

"So which one is better? The book or the movie?" Tenn said.

"I'll find out soon enough." Miss Jefa smiled. "By doing this, I haven't had to pay for a book in the 15 years that I have worked here." She added with a wink.

"Nice." Tenn smiled. She then looked at the books and sighed. Part of the reason she was number two in the Irken Invader Academy was she read everything she could. In fact that was the only reason she knew the Irken Magna Rula and the Men in Black's refugee program was that she read every bit of recommended additional reading there was. Tak was only just a little better at combat than her so that is why she was number one. She noticed a few book titles that seemed interesting to her. "You mind if I take a few of these home that you don't want Miss Jefa?"

"Sure!" Miss Jefa smiled. "You don't have to ask for anything Miss Irakania. You are the best newbie I have ever had." Miss Jefa stamped a few more books. "No time in the internet room for you!" She winked.

"Need any help?" Tenn asked.

"Sure. Watch me and you'll have an easy day." Miss Jefa picked up a book, scanned it, clicked 'discarded' on the information page that popped up and then stamped it like earlier. "I do this when they have a lot of people come in. This is a perk of being one of my favorites. The hard work is not for you." Tenn joined in and filed away the books like Miss Jefa was doing. While aiding in the discarding process, she found an older copy of the book on old west guns and stashed it aside.

"I lost most of my books in the move." Tenn lied. Sure she did move and lost all her possessions, but Miss Jefa didn't need to know what her real past was. Tenn then peered over at the pile of books Miss Jefa had to take home and saw they were about various things from nature to psychology to New York City history, to ghosts and to what Tenn took as a little more notice of, which was a book about aliens. Tenn was already weary of what might give her away but they didn't seem to be watched and Miss Jefa seemed to be very trustworthy when it came to any concerns Tenn had. The Men in Black told her when she became a refugee not to tell humans about her past and to lie if they asked.

"You believe in aliens?" Tenn asked dropping her voice and doing a double take to make sure no one was looking or listening.

"Why yes I do! As big as the Universe is, I doubt us humans are the only beings out there." Miss Jefa said. You don't know how right you are... Tenn thought as Miss Jefa continued. "And you don't need to worry, no one cares if you think the same way too."

" That's good. I am fairly certain aliens exist much for the same reason." Tenn said. And you don't even know the half of what I do... Tenn thought as she helped discard the old books. Before either of them knew it, 6pm came and it was time to go home.

"Quitting time!" Miss Jefa said as she made the pile of books yet to discard a little neater. "We'll finish this tomorrow. The janitors are the ones who close up so we don't have to. Bye Tennisha!"

"Bye Miss Jefa!" Tenn said as she walked home carrying her pile of books back to her house. The Men in Black had a program where aliens already living on Earth hosted a new refugee until they could find and establish their own home on Earth. Tenn turned a corner to what looked like a seedy pawn shop. Unfortunately the only opening she could get in Manhattan was with Jack Jeebs, an irate owner of said pawn shop who could get his head shot off and grow it back. Tenn saw that happen when an agent said she had to live there and Jeebs got mad.

"So, they gave you a nice cushy human job huh?" Jeebs asked as Tenn headed up the stairs.

"Not my fault you couldn't handle a boss. But you seem to be doing a good job here owning your own business dealing with stuff you shouldn't." Tenn said. She hadn't lived there long, but she had seen him smuggle Vortian weapons taken in the Invasion and snick off by some Buzzardians, aliens who stole stuff from battlefields when the battle was over.

"Oh shut up." Jeebs said. "You best find a place quick!"

"Quiet you or I'll blow your head off. And that stings A LOT!" Tenn said fiercely, anger in her human disguise.

"Where did you get those books?" Jeebs asked.

"Got them for free at work. Great way to get free stuff actually." Tenn smiled heading upstairs. "Goodnight!"

"I think she really is a Jooziak." Jeebs said as the door slammed.

"This must be here base." Chowfun said as he looked at Lomein frowning at him. "We must first prove she is Irken, not human or Jooziak."

"If she is really who we think she is, we will attack tomorrow." Lomein said, finally giving in to Chowfun.

So how was that? Good? Bad? Dialouge heavy? Not enough Agent D? Let me know in a review. PS: I made references to "Ghost Adventures" "Ghostbusters" and "South Park" in there. Can you find them? Anyway, Chowfun and Lomein are Meekrob OC's of mine from Tak's Deadly Return and Tak's Deadly Vengeance. Check those stories out while I work on the update. If more people read, my fire to inspire grows. Well anyway, remember to read (well you just did) and to review. Ciao for now,
