Hello once again readers! Now I know that this is a fairly speedy update, and don't get used to it! I just had this chapter written and I wanted to get it out there to start on the next chapter. That being said, this is just some fluff (if you wanna call it that), but I promise that the plot will pick up rather quickly in the next couple chapters. I'm sorry, please don't hate me for lack of substance, I was gonna combine this chapter with the next, but I really liked the way this one ended so I didn't lol Anyway, please enjoy chapter 7 of Destined!
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN R+V OR ANY OF ITS CHARACTERS, or even most of the plot up to this point BUT THAT'S NOT IMPORTANT! THE PLOT WILL BE ALL MINE SOON!
Chapter 7: My Prize and a Vampire
Dear Tsukune,
To prevent Moka from feeling uncomfortable around school, I have placed an incantation on you that prevents the use of any and all appearance changing spells. This includes self inflicted spells as well as any spells or potions used on you. I have consulted her father, and we both believe this to be the most appropriate course of action. Since Moka does not know the spell, and cannot learn the spell (or so Issa tells me) you no longer have the ability to be affected by that spell. I have informed the Chairman of the situation, so you will not be punished. I'll see you later! But you better be fast my son, things are going to get very interesting very soon.
Your Father, Koji Aono
Tsukune read the small piece of paper for what was probably the eighth time. Sure enough, no matter how hard he concentrated, and no matter how much energy he put into it, his silver hair never turned brown, his fangs never shrank in size, and his crimson eyes remained just that. Crimson.
The teen wanted to shout. He wanted to destroy his room all over again. He wanted to march right up to his father, wherever he was, and hit him as hard as he possibly could.
Tsukune did none of these things, however. More than anger at his father, he felt anxiousness and confusion.
'What does he mean 'things are going to get interesting?'' Deciding not to dwell on the subject, he pushed it into the back of his mind for later debate.
'I better go find Moka.' With a clear plan in mind, Tsukune stepped over papers and around his overturned desk. Yes he needed to clean the mess that his father made upon the ancient's departure, but that could wait, and Tsukune was feeling lazier than usual this morning.
The air outside was cool and crisp. Low humidity and mild temperatures meant that Tsukune would feel quite calm for the rest of the day. He didn't know why, but every so often, the weather outside would affect him in a way that he was sure he'd never understand.
The teen's mind was completely calm as he walked to the girl's dorm. Tskukune was so at ease, that he almost failed to realize the generous amount of breasts that now smothered his face.
"Good morning Tsukune! It was so nice of you to come all this way to see me!" Kurumu Kurono had Tsukune wrapped tightly in a hug that would soon be his demise if he didn't find away to escape.
Pulling free of the deadly embrace, Tsukune began gasping for air. "Kurumu," he wheezed "Where... did you... come... from?" The vampire talked between large breaths, needing to make up for oxygen lost in between the succubus's unnaturally large bosom.
"Well I was walking to class when I saw you headed towards the girl's dorms. I had to come see you since you're my mate of fate!" the blue haired teen was so excited while she spoke, Tsukune thought she would expl-
"What did you just say?!"
"You're my mate of fate! My destined one! You stopped that bitch from taking what makes me a succubus. You saved my life! It's only natural I feel attracted to you after you so bravely rescued me!"
Tsukune slapped his forehead and sighed deeply. "Kurumu, you don't think Moka would have actually done that, do you?"
"You don't know that! And if you did, then why step in and stop her, hmm?" Kurumu dove towards him in an attempt to smother him again, but Tsukune stepped to the side, causing the succubus to blindly fall to the ground.
"She was being unreasonable, and I needed an excuse to use my power. I wanted to assess her strength and speed." Tsukune had to admit, he wasn't sure if Moka was serious or not about ridding Kurumu of her wings and tail. Truthfully, the vampire didn't want to see that happen, so he stepped in, but he would absolutely never tell that to Kurumu, especially now that she thought they were destined mates.
The succubus was undeterred by her unification with the dirt, and bounced up to glare at Tsukune. "Then what's today's excuse? You know it's against the rules to be in your true form on school grounds."
Tsukune flinched, he completely forgot! He looked like a vampire to everyone around him, and couldn't do anything about it. "There were some... complications, and I can't change my appearance anymore." He explained, shyly rubbing the back of his head.
Kurumu opened her mouth to protest, but Tsukune halted her with his own words, "Look Kurumu, I'm sorry for what happened with Moka. I want to be your friend, but there's something important I have to do right now. We can talk at lunch, okay?"
The succubus instantly blushed at his words. "Uh, yeah. Sure Tsukune. Sorry for bothering you."
Sighing in relief, Tsukune gave a small smile to the girl. "See you in class." And with that, the vampire turned on his heel an continued into his original destination.
He remembered from the previous night that Moka's room was the last room on the right, so that's where he headed.
Tsukune stood in front of the door. The last time he had been here, they accidentally kissed, and the memory was still fresh and vivid in Tsukune's mind. His face flushed and the teen honestly contemplated just waiting to talk to her later.
It was then when a great sense of protectiveness and panic swept through his body. He couldn't explain it, but he had to get inside that room.
He reached for the door knob and turned. It was unlocked, which only succeeded in furthering the vampire's panic.
"Moka!" Tsukune flung the door wide and his stomach hit the floor. Moka was there and looked to be relatively unharmed. What caused his panic was the fact she was just lying face down on the floor. Her bed was perfectly undisturbed, just like the rest of her room.
"Moka! Moka are you okay?" Tsukune rushed to the vampiress's side quicker than the eye could see. He turned her over and examined her face. The fear Tsukune felt before eased slightly. She was breathing, and breathing was good.
Tsukune let out a breath he didn't know he was holding, but remained concerned. 'How did she end up on the floor? Was she that tired last night?"
"Tsukune..." A soft voice called to him, and when it reached Tsukune's ears time seemed to stop.
He looked down to find half-lidded ruby pools staring tiredly, but tenderly up at him.
"M- Moka," Tsukune cursed at his stuttering. 'How the hell does she do this to me?!'
A soft, delicate hand cupped his cheek. If time stopped when she said his name, then he was sure the world would explode any second now.
"Moka, wh- what are you-"
A smile from the half asleep vampiress cut him off instantly. "Tsukune, you... you're so..."
"M- Moka?" Tsukune's heart was pounding in his chest. He was drunk off of her. She had drawn him in and there was nothing that could pull his gaze away form the silver haired beauty he now held in his arms.
So entranced was he, the teen did not notice her eyes snapping open and Moka seeming to realize what was happening. He didn't notice the inhuman amount of anger now in her once sleepy eyes.
"You're..." Tsukune didn't even realize he was leaning in closer to goddess before him.
"So..." She was so beautiful. Tsukune could freely admit that he like this Moka much bet-
"DEAD!"
"Wha-" Tsukune barely even had time to feel confusion before a horrible pain exploded in his gut. He was sent flying through the air, and crashed through what he assumed to be a window. He landed hard on his back and struggled for air as what he had left of it exited his lungs upon hitting the ground.
Tsukune opened his eyes to find he was lying in the courtyard located between the two dorm rooms. There was a ring of students around him, staring both at him and the hole in the building in which he was shot from.
Groaning, the vampire sat up and followed the stares of his fellow students.
"Look! It's that Akashiya girl!"
"But she's different. Are the rumors true? Is she a vampire?"
"Who cares dude! I think she's even sexier this way!"
"TSUKUNE!" Moka screamed as she leaped from where there was previously a window.
'Oh shit...' That single thought was all Tsukune had time for before he had to act, or be crushed by a very angry vampiress. Letting his aura flare, he dashed away from where he sat in between the ring of students. The students simply stepped back to avoid falling into the crater Moka created when she landed.
'Idiots!' Thought Tsukune. He didn't have time to worry about what happened to his peers however. Now he needed to focus on surviving the ire of a certain female.
When the dust cleared, Moka was standing with a pink aura whipping around her. The two vampires faced each other when the silver haired female stepped from the cracked earth that resulted from her failed attempt to kill Tsukune. Well that's what he thought she was trying to do.
The vampires remained still. Throwing gazes across the space that separated them. Tsukune's was full of confusion, but was serious and determined. Moka's on the other hand was pure, unadulterated rage.
More and more students gathered around the pair, even some teachers watched from a safe distance. Comments and exclamations rippled through the crowd.
"Did she say Tsukune?"
"Then that guy who looks like Moka, that's the Aono guy?!"
"You all really should leave." Tsukune was still watching Moka, knowing that any distraction would lead to a world of pain. "I can't guarantee your safety if you remain here."
"Tsukune." Moka's voice was dripping with anger, but calm at the same time which only increased the magnitude of the shivers that racked Tsukune's body at its sound. "I won't kill you, but you need to be taught your place."
"Moka, I'm sorry my father took your rosary!" Tsukune had absolutely no idea what Moka was talking about, so he just apologized for what he thought was the most logical reason behind all this. "If there was a way I could have stopped him I would have!"
A vein throbbed in Moka's forehead. "You idiot," she spat. "You know damn well what I'm talking about! You were getting quite comfortable with my body after the chairman threw us out of his office!"
Whistles and cat calls rose up from the crowd. Upon this, Moka let her aura surge. She turned to the crowd and yelled loud "GET LOST!"
Students and teachers alike wasted no time in complying with the vampiress's order and soon enough it was just them. Male and female vampires. One was starting to cool down, while the other was horrified at the action he didn't even know what he was committing.
Tsukune's eyes widened in realization. "Th- That's what that was?!" His face was blood red, and his brain was trying to come up with something, anything to say in his defense. "Moka I- I didn't mean- I didn't know that was you!"
Moka knelt down, gathering strength in her legs. Tsukune wasn't going to dodge this, he was going to take the punishment this vampire goddess wanted to inflict on him. If he dodged, or fought back, it would only increase the she-devil's anger, and that wouldn't be good for anyone. "That's enough Tsukune! Know your place!" At the exclamation, Moka shot forward.
Tsukune knew it would hurt. This would be the third time in under twelve hours he'd been on the receiving end of one of Moka's devastating kicks. Hell, it'd be the second time in under ten minutes! He was ready to face the pain, only it never came.
"I think that's quite enough Ms. Akashiya." A deep voice and a blinding flash of light startled the two teens. Red and pink aura died down along with the light, and the vampires found themselves face to face with the Chairman of Yokai Academy.
"You both have been summoned to the gymnasium, where the rest of the school is waiting very patiently." The white robed man spun and walked away. The teen's eyes never left the man as he called over his shoulder. "If either of you show up injured, there will be consequences."
With that the elder monster disappeared from sight.
Tsukune sighed in relief and looked over to Moka. She turned to face him and it seemed like all the rage that was previously so obvious in her expression was gone. Now it was completely unreadable.
"Tsukune." she called.
"Yes, Moka?" To say that Tsukune was unsure about his safety at the moment would be very accurate.
She raised an arm and beckoned with a slender finger. "Come here."
Without hesitation Tsukune's feet seemed to carry him towards the vampiress without him telling them where to go. Before he could stop, he was before the most beautiful female he'd eve- 'These thoughts, they just don't stop."
Tsukune swallowed hard. "Yes Moka?"
"I suppose I can't be angry with you anymore, since we must show up unharmed. I'm sure you have questions, so I will indulge you." Moka sighed deep and her expression turned to one of slight embarrassment. "The reason you found me on the floor, to put it simply, I'm not used to the effects of the rosary being gone completely."
"Has no other person ever pulled it off before?" Tsukune never once thought that he was the only person able to remove the rosary. His father didn't seem to have a problem, which only led Tsukune to believe that someone may have done so before.
"No." The vampiress said plainly. "You're the first person I've seen in six years."
Heat burned his cheeks and his crimson eyes widened. "W- well we should probably go to the gymnasium. I don't fancy getting n trouble with the Chairman this early in the morning." The teen turned and started walking towards the main building.
'Why?! Why the hell does she make me feel like this? What is it about her?' Tsukune was confused and that aggravated him to no end. He quickened his pace, until he heard his name.
"Wait Tsukune." Her voice called to him, drew him in just as it had earlier that morning. He turned to find a light blush coloring the cheeks of the vampiress.
"What is it... Moka?" Tsukune asked nervously. He wasn't sure why she was blushing. Not minutes ago she almost killed him. 'This girl is absolutely impossible to read.'
So lost in his thoughts and captivation of the silver haired goddess before him, he didn't notice that she had closed the distance between them. Her scent drifted to his ultra sensitive nose and the vampire was sure he had died and gone to heaven. Memories of their first encounter drifted into his mind. 'She smells just like the other Moka...'
"Lean down." She commanded awkwardly. Her voice sounded... angry? But her face was nearly as red as her eyes.
The male teen paid no attention to this however, and did as he was told.
What brought him to his senses was the sharp, but excitingly pleasurable pain in his neck.
Tsukune sucked in a breath, the pained cry slowly turned into a groan of ecstasy. This Moka may be ruthless and powerful, but she was so delicate when draining him of his life force.
She continued to drain the crimson liquid for what felt like hours, days, and Tsukune nearly whined when the vampiress retracted her fangs. He gasped in surprise when she licked the wound shut.
"My prize." She said, blushing furiously, "For successfully landing a legitimate blow on you. Twice I might add. Now come on, we've wasted time here long enough." Moka then brushed past Tsukune. Her long hair gently grazed his hand, causing shivers to once again run down his spine.
'Yeah,' thought the now lightheaded vampire. 'I won't ever be able to read Moka Akashiya.' One second she was hellbent on mutilating him for landing on her in an awkward position, the next she was gently suckling blood from his neck as if it were the most precious thing in the world. The male fell in step, though he had to run to catch up, with the seemingly at ease vampiress. 'I think its better that way though.' Tsukune allowed a small smile and walked in silence with the beautiful, infuriating, spontaneous, confusing girl that was his best friend.
AAAAHHHHHH! The feels! lol I really really enjoyed writing this chapter, and I hope you all enjoyed reading it just as much. Anyway... Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this, and I hope you continue to enjoy future chapters!
