Hello everyone! Look, look it's a chapter that's actually on time this time! Anyway enjoy this chapter that my beta, Artimus Lan, and I worked rather hard on and don't be afraid to review!

Ciel awoke with a start to the sound of a loud thump echoing off the walls. Ciel looked around to try to find what had made the noise, but couldn't find the culprit. Rubbing his eye's trying to get the sleep out of them and to clear up his vision, the boy found the source of the odd noise. Ciel had fallen off the couch in his sleep, obvious by the fact that he was now getting acquainted with the floor.
Sighing slightly at his foolishness, Ciel pulled himself up from the floor wincing slightly from the pain in his sides. Memories of last night flashed through his mind, reminding him to be careful of his wounds. No need to aggravate them and make them worse. Looking to clock on the kitchen wall, Ciel groaned. How could he be so stupid—sleeping so late on a week day?
Ciel rushed upstairs as fast as he could without triggering a flood of pain, and stumbled into his room to gather his things. He managed to find a sweater in his closet, and gently put it on, avoiding the tender spots. It hid his bruises nicely. Grabbing his backpack, keys, and phone from the counter top he rushed to the door, not caring that his stomach was growling angrily. He ran as quickly as he could but he was panting harshly by the time he reached the front door. He threw it open before rushing to his locker. Groaning slightly at the pain at his side, caused by all the sharp movements he was making, Ciel retrieved his things before heading to English.
"Ah, Mr. Phantomhive. How nice of you to join us," the English teacher remarked. "Your only 20 minutes late," he said with a hint of sarcasm.
"I, uh, woke up late?" said the slate haired boy, not even sure how to phrase his predicament.
Smirking slightly while shaking his head the English teacher said, "Mr. Phantomhive, might I suggest going to bed earlier so as to not be so late to class?"
"I was busy," Ciel answered a bit too quickly.
Raising an eyebrow at the boys answer, Mr. Michaelis said, "Alright alright, take a seat and try not to disturb my class more that you already have."
Ciel made an irritated noise and took his seat.
"Hi Ciel! Why are you so late today?" a cheerful voice next to him chimed.
"Please Alois, just shut up. I'm not in the mood for your antics," he said looking at the blonde in irritation.
"Aww, Ciel what happened? Is she up to it again?" Alois asked, throwing away all signs of the bubbly, happy, facade that he normally put up as his voice turned serious. Alois hated it when Ciel's aunt beat on him. How dare she do that to Ciel? She was his aunt, and yet she beat Ciel senseless. That was no way to treat a family member. Regardless if she hated him or not.
"Yeah. I got home and she instantly started up her usual crap. She went crazy on me—saying that I'm not a true Phantomhive and shit like that. What does she know about being a Phantomhive? I'll tell you. She doesn't. A real Phantomhive wouldn't sell all our stocks for drinking money. Despite being so stupid she sure knows how to hit. Everything hurts so much," Ciel complained softly.
"Oh! Ciel are you okay? Do you need to go to the hospital? Ciel this has gone on for long enough. Why don't you go to the police? They'll help you," the blonde spouted quickly, concern clear in his voice. He just wanted Ciel to be safe and away from that crazy beast he called his aunt.
"I'm fine. I took some medicine and bandaged myself up. Don't be such an idiot. We both know that she's my only family. If I went to the police they would bring her in for abuse, and then they would put me in an orphanage. I'll be all alone if I go to some shit-hole orphanage…" Ciel replied, a stern yet sad look on his face.
"B-but Ciel, this can't go on," the blond whined. "She's crazy and she'll just end up killing you!" exclaimed the blonde, just wanting his friend to be happy and safe. Ciel was always stubborn when it came to his aunt, but Alois wouldn't let Ciel get himself killed.
"Don't worry Alois, I'll be fine," Ciel said, taking a hold of the others hands.
"Hm…alright. Just be careful okay?" Alois said while gripping tightly onto Ciel's hands. Alois had known Ciel since they were in fifth grade. Basically they were best friends. In the sixth grade, Ciel told Alois about how his aunt would beat him, so Alois knew all too well about Ciel's troubles. Little did Ciel know that somewhere along the two boys' friendship Alois had started to fall for Ciel. Sure Ciel could be rude, mean, and a terrible friend at times but he could also be really loving and caring. Alois had been planning to tell Ciel but he was afraid that Ciel would outright reject him. So, for now, Alois settled for being Ciel's best, and only, friend.
"I promise," Ciel said softly, squeezing Alois' hand. Suddenly the bell rang startling Ciel and Alois away from each other. Was class already over?
"That worksheet will be for your homework for tonight. Have a good day," called Mr. Michaelis to the students as they rushed out the door. Both Ciel and Alois picked up their books and hurried to the door as well, but stalled when the teacher called for Ciel.
"Mr. Phantomhive a word please," said the English teacher. Ciel whispered to Alois a quick goodbye and came back to the English teacher, who was standing near his desk.
"Yes?" Ciel asked uncertainly. Was he in trouble for not paying attention? He and Alois had been talking the entire time. It was possible that he would be reprimanded for that…
"I noticed you and Mr. Trancy whispering and holding each other's hands today. Are you alright, Mr. Phantomhive?" The teacher replied with a slight tilt of his head.
Damn he had noticed. "Uh yes, I'm fine. If that's all you wanted, I'd best be going," said Ciel quickly, a bit too quickly for the English teachers liking. Ciel tried escaping toward the door when he felt a hand grab his wrist. Crying out from the sudden onset of pain, Ciel dropped his books onto the floor.
The older male's eyes widened a bit from surprise. He lifted Ciel's big sweater's sleeve up to Ciel's elbow and saw all the bruises and cuts on Ciel's wrist and arm.
"Mr. Phantomhive would you care to explain this?"
Haha aren't I mean, giving you some AloisxCiel. Don't worry this is still a SebastianxCiel fanfiction but I just had to do that. Review and I'll give you a chapter faster.
