Let me just begin to apologize on my behalf for making you all wait for an update for so long. I'm sorry but I was mainly focusing on my story FALL IN which is now done btw, if you haven't yet read it then I highly recommend that you do. Its a multi fic and is one of my longest stories I've done so far. But with all of that said, I probably only have around 2 chapters left of this story. So with that said here is Chapter 7 finally! :)

Disclaimer: I do not own Gossip Girl nor any of their cast members, I however own this story and I secretly wished I owned Ed Westwick (CB).

"Blair!" rushing towards her, he was dead set on asking her out yesterday but she'd been a no show "Blair would you please stop for a second" he finally approaches her thank god she'd finally slowed down "Why are you rushing for?" he laughed lightly, the girl had practically ran from him.

"Oh you know, just in a hurry to get to class that's all" okay maybe that wasn't the truth, but still yet, after their kiss the other night she just didn't know where exactly they stood, granted she'd told him that they needed to be friends but the look in Chucks eyes seemed to tell another story.

"Well do you think you can spare I don't know a few minutes for me?" he smirked at her, watching her roll her eyes he knew she'd stay. "So where were you yesterday?"

"I didn't sleep very well that night, so I decided to skip" she shook her head before pulling her bag upon her shoulder a bit more.

"Sense when does Blair Waldorf skip school exactly?" he looked into her eyes and he could tell instantly that she wasn't amused at all at his antics.

"And sense when does Chuck Bass practically chase down a girl these days?" she smirked back at him once she seen his eyes grow wide.

"So you think I was chasing you down huh?" he smiled lightly.

"Weren't you?" she looked at him and grinned back.

"Well to answer you question yes.. yes I was!" okay he was going to do, he was definitely going to do it!

"And.. you've found me, so.. what is it that you want?" she looked around the courtyard to see if anyone was watching there interaction.

"I wanted to ask you this yesterday but you never showed so I'm just going to put it all out there right now and hope that you give me a chance." he took her hands into his.

"Chuck.." she breathed out hesitantly, she should have known that he'd wanted more.

"Blair listen, I know you told me that this thing between us should only stay as friends, but I cant help to want more." he watched her roll her eyes and then he noticed her looking around the courtyard like she was embarrassed almost. "Blair are you even listening to me? Listen I know you probably don't want to be seen with someone with a track record like mine but I cant help what I feel, I've never felt this way and you know just as well as I do that I don't do dates but I'm asking you right now this second to go out on a date with me!" okay he finally did it.

"Huh?" she starred at him, she knew he possibly wanted more but she was thinking more of a friends with benefits or a one night stand, she definitely wasn't expecting the great Chuck Bass to ask her out on a proper date.

"Blair Waldorf, will you go out with me this Friday night?" he stood there fumbling over his thoughts while she grew even more quieter.

"I.. I don't know, I mean I want to I guess, its just that well.. I've never really been out on a date before." she looked down, god was she ever a loser "I know your probably thinking what loser I am right now, but its true. I mean no ones never asked me out before"

"I could never think you were a loser Blair, your to amazing! Your the most wonderful girl I've ever known" he smiled at her, she was just too cute right now, standing there fidgeting with her fingers like she was so scared. "So how about it, will you please go out with me this Friday night?"

"Okay, if your certain that it is I you want to take out" she smiled at him, was she seriously doing this?

"I've never been more sure about anything in my beside this moment with you now" he then grabbed her hand and they walked in unison through the courtyard.

The week seemed to past by rather slow, but with Friday finally here Blair was growing more and more nervous as the hours ticked by. Chuck was nervous too this was pretty much his first date too, he'd never asked a girl out before. This would be a first for the both of them, Chuck knew it just had to be perfect, he'd planned everything down to the hour and was anxiously waiting for 7 to roll around. When time seemed to get closer, he left within moment arriving to her apartment where she stood already outside for him.

"Blair you look absolutely beautiful" he'd gotten out of the Limo to greet her, he noted she did in fact looked stunning.

"Thanks you don't look to bad yourself" she smiled at him before she felt his lips kiss the top of her hand, instantly feeling that part of the skin tingle slightly.

"Shall we be on our way then?" he opened the door for her and they both slid in taking off into the night.

"Wow this place is absolutely beautiful Chuck!" she'd been in some fancy restaurant but the décor and paintings were amazing in this place.

"Thanks, I'm glad you seem to like it, when I seen some of these painting I thought you would" he looked around too admiring it also.

"All have you came here before?" she was certain this place was rather new but this was Chuck Bass for god sakes he's probably first on the list for anything.

"No, but I knew I only wanted the best for our date, so I came out earlier this week and looked at a few places and when I saw this one I just knew you'd appreciate it" it was true he only wanted the best for her.

"Oh that's so sweet, Who ever knew that Chuck Bass could be a romantic" she smiled his way, he wasn't known for swooning a girl at all, but it was clear that he'd put a lot of time and thought into their date and so far everything had been going great.

"Yes well now you do, and that's all that matters" he smiled at her before reaching for her hand across the table intertwining his fingers with hers. " Blair I just want you to know that your the only girl I'd ever do this for, you know as well as I do that I'm no mushy romantic type but for some odd reason when I'm with you I forget about what Chuck Bass would do or wouldn't, because its just being with you I know I can be me the person I want to be when your around" he brought her soft hand up to his lips before kissing it lightly, another so unlike Chuck move.

"Well I'm glad you reserve only that part of you for me!" she smiled hearing his words and feeling his lips made her resolve only melt more.

"So shall we order, I have another place I want us to stop off to before this night ends" he wished it didn't have to end, things were going really well.

"Yes we shall, what do you suggest?" she hadn't been to many fancy restaurants but she was sure Chuck had.

"Chuck thank you for such a wonderful night, first dinner at LaRitz and now a stroll through the park with the most amazing cookies I think I've ever tasted" she then took another bite.

"Your welcome, I'm glad you liked it, and like them. There called Macaroons by the way, I thought you'd like them." walking hand and hand through the part.

"Well you were right, I swear you know me so well." they both took a seat on the bench and he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her in tightly. "Tell me something about yourself that no one really knows?"

"Well... I.." hmm.. what exactly should he tell her, maybe about his mother perhaps? "As you probably remember, I told you my mother died right?"

"Uh huh," wondering where he was getting with this story.

"Well she didn't just die, she.. she was murdered." it took a lot in him to get that out, he'd never told anyone the real reason as to why, everyone always thought his mom died in a vehicle accident so for him to share that with her it was big.

"She was murdered?" she then turns to look him in the eyes "How if you don't mind me asking?"

"It was my uncle, his name was Jack. He'd been obsessed with my mom for a long time from what my father says. During the time him and my mom dated and then even after they'd gotten married and had me. Jack just wouldn't leave her nor my dad alone, so one night my father and I had been gone to a benefit and when we'd gotten back that's when we found her. She had took a really bad beating from my uncle, he'd raped her also. At least that's why the autopsy said. It was a hard time for my father and I and sense then things have been rather strained between us." his father couldn't even look at him no longer. "I know a lot of it has to do with that fact that I look like her, my hair my eyes, everything about me screams her"

"Oh my, I.. I'm so sorry Chuck!" she takes his face into her hands and kisses his lips lightly.

"Its okay, I mean it was a long time ago Blair. I hate growing up without her but I also think she's at peace now too. I mean do you ever think a person can only go through so much torment before death is the only way out to some type of peace?" he turns then and see's the sincere look in her eyes like she knows that feeling or possibly even wants it.

"I guess yeah" she shrugs her shoulders, at times she has felt that way too, that maybe death is the only way out. There were times the pain had been so bad after the abuse of her father that'd she would pray for God to take her life right there and then, but then morning would come and she'd still be alive.

"So what about you? tell me something no one knows about you?" he noticed the way she shrubbed off his questioning eyes.

"What's there to tell, I mean I've told some rather crazy things I think" she couldn't tell him anything about the abuse it was clear how he felt about that already.

"Oh yeah I almost forgot the time you almost killed your father with sleeping meds" he began to laugh remembering the day she'd told him.

"Chuck... don't!" she then began to laugh too

"Blair come on, there has to be something, that your not telling me" he then grew more serious and looked her in the eyes, he didn't know why but she did seem to hiding something.

"Okay well sense were talking about mothers, I know I told you my mom died too. But I don't believe she died from what I was told exactly. You see the police told me that she was in a car accident, and the vehicle had caught fire and that the body was burnt pretty bad. But for some odd reason I think it was all planned, fixed almost." she did, her father had made indication as such so many times before.

"Blair are you trying to say that someone staged your mothers death to make it look like a accident?" it did sound rather weird but he wasn't going to question her.

"I know I probably sound crazy to you, but I believe that for some odd reason" she shook her head, maybe she shouldn't have told him her theory.

"No your fine, I mean did she have any enemy's that you know of? That would want to hurt her I mean?" if someone were to kill her then stage it like a car accident then someone would have wanted her dead.

"I..I don't know, I was young who's to say?" she knew who'd want her mom dead but she couldn't say his name out loud, Chuck would for sure know something was up then.

"Okay, well maybe you should look into who she was seeing or talking to around that time maybe then you'd get a better idea" he couldn't quit put his finger on it but she was definitely still hiding something about this whole thing.

"Blair I just want you to know that I had a wonderful time and I really hope that we can go out again, that's if you want to that is" the night had finally come to an end and even though he didn't want to see her say goodbye he also knew that this was reality he couldn't just ask her to stay with him.

"Yeah me too, and I would definitely love to go out with you again!" she smiled at him before she felt him pull her into a kiss, tasting his lips on hers again feeling his tongue enter her mouth was almost to much to handle. But she knew it must come to an end she was already running 15 minutes late as it was and she was only hoping and praying that her father wasn't home yet. "Well I must be going, thank you again for such a wonderful night Chuck!"

"It was my pleasure Blair, text me later on or call I don't care. Either way I want to hear from you" he hugged her once more before finally letting her go.

"Goodnight Chuck"

"Goodnight Blair"

He watches her walk through the doors and step into the elevator before he actually turns to get into his limo, relinquishing in the way she makes him feel. This may have been all new to him but he already thought he needed more. He was missing her already and the date had only ended a few minutes ago.

"Its 11:45 young lady, so please tell me just exactly where have you been at half the damn day, because its night time already" He approached her when she walked through the door, he instantly grabbed her arm and pulling on it hard.

"I was out with some friends daddy, you know that" she tried to ignore the pain permeating up her arm. "I'm sorry I was so late, I didn't realize what time it was until it was already to late."

"Don't give me that bullshit Blair, do you think I was born yesterday?" the then starts to pull at the belt on his pants pulling it threw completely till it all laid in his hands. "I know you were out with some guy, I can tell by looking at you that this was no night out with friends, it was a date. You can see the slut shinning through just like your mother, and what did I do to her all those times, she got taught a lesson that's what, and it looks like its time for you to get the same!"

"Daddy no please, don't do this. I'm so tired of you doing this to me" she began to grow harder towards him if tonight was her last night then she'd let him know how she felt right there and then. "I've grown tired of the abuse daddy, you thinking its okay to hit me and abuse me whenever you want is not okay, its wrong! And I'm sick of it!" she stated before seeing the anger flair up in his eyes even more.

"Well that's fucking nice and all but I don't give a shit what you want, or what you fucking think if right! I'm right! and that's all you need to know Bitch" it was then he lunged at her slinging the belt with all his force and hearing it hit her with a big 'SLAP'

Blair tumbled over from the pain, she was sure this was her last time she'd have to endure this pain but that still didn't mean she wouldn't fight with everything in her. Maybe what Chuck had said was right, this was the only way for her to become at peace. But thinking of him only served to hurt more. With death came not seeing him no longer not feeling his arms around her or his lips on hers. Hearing his voice or just being with him in general. Maybe she needed to fight but fight to win to live. She began to run for her life up the steps as quickly as possible not even looking back for a second, but she knew he was following her she could here his heavy steps behind her and his voice yelling.

"Arthur, turn around I believe Blair forgot her coat." he noticed it as the last second, and knew it had been chilly as of late. He definitely thought she'd need it plus it did give him an excuse to see her again.

"Right away Mr. Bass" he then turns to make his way back to the Waldorf residence.

Once they finally arrived Chuck got out of the Limo, and made his way into her building where he noted someone at the front he quickly asked what floor the Waldorf's lived on and they told him, as he walked into the elevator he pressed number six and waited for it to get to her floor. Once finally there he walked into waiting area before knocking lightly on the door, but no one never came. He then though he'd heard some yelling but tried to decipher if it was coming from her home or another's. He knocked again and again and still nobody came, it was then he heard her scream and without hesitation he turned the door to find it already unlocked once inside he yelled her name.

"Blair! BLAIR!" looking around the home, everything seemed to be in place that was until he entered the living area and he noticed a few things knocked out of place, what was going on was there someone in the house with her, was she being robbed or even worse hurt. "BLAIR! WHERE ARE YOU?" he yelled once more before finally taking to the steps that he knew for certain would lead to her room.

Hope you all enjoyed this chapter, I hate to leave you all hanging like that. But lets just hope Chuck gets there in time to save Blair, and why couldn't she'd just told him? This story lays close to my heart for a lot of reasons. My bestfriend all the way from Grade School died 3years ago. She was killed by her husband, beatin to death actually. It hurt me so much when her mom called me about her death and even more so the fact that she would always make accuses for why she'd had bruises an stuff. I had questioned her so many times and finally she broke down and told me, I begged her to leave him and she finally said that was what she was going to do. I thought for the longest time I should have said something, but she begged me not to she was afraid he'd find out that she talked about the abuse. It had been exactly a month from when she told me about it, that she filed for divorce and two weeks later they found her dead beatin to death, I cant help but still feel like I should have done something more, but I was so worried about what she'd said that I listened to her when she begged me to not say anything. That Bastard is in jail now but I cant help but always think of her. All of my most cherished memories have her in them, all of my jr high and high school photos have her with me. So if you know of anyone who's going through abuse do all you can to get them away from it, because you never know if it will be the last time you speak to them or see them!
