Ahsoka walked through the desert sand. Finally she found where Anakin and Padme were at. She was going to go talk to them, but she noticed that they were in the middle of a conversation. She decided to stand back and wait.

"I want to tell them." Ahsoka heard Anakin say. "But anytime I try, I lose it. Anytime I even think about it, I get angry. I start to believe that they deserved to die. And this has been happening recently, and I can't stop it. I don't know Padme, maybe I'm going crazy."

Anakin sat up against a rock and put his hands in his face.

"That whole week was crazy." Padme said

"What do you mean?" Anakin asked looking up.

"I mean besides what happened on Tatooine. Look, the Geonosis arena, your fight with Dooku, the war started and then we got married."

"I guess so." Anakin said. A small smile formed on his face. "And you know what..."

Ahsoka didn't hear the rest of Anakin's sentence. Her mind was elsewhere. She couldn't believe it! Not only did her master kill a whole camp of sand people, but he was married to Padme, too! Ahsoka didn't know what to do. She wanted to tell Obi-wan what she heard, but she knew that Anakin could very well be expelled from the Jedi order. She thought about it more and decided not to say anything. To act like she heard nothing.

As she got up to go back to the camp, her hand slipped and caused small rocks to fall. Anakin and Padme looked in the direction that the noise came from and they saw Ahsoka.

Anakin stood up slowly. "Ahsoka," he asked walking closer to her. "What did you hear?"

Ahsoka shook her head. "Nothing, I didn't hear anything."

Anakin put a hand on her shoulder. "Ahsoka, don't lie. Please, if you heard anything I need you to tell me."

She looked down at her feet. "You… you killed them, the Tuskens. I don't know what to think." She said, turning way.

"Ahsoka, just because you know something about me that you didn't know before doesn't mean that I'm any different. I'm still the same."

"I know, but why? Why would you kill them? I mean, I know they killed your mother, but revenge is never the way. You knew that, right?"

"Yes Ahsoka, I know. I… I just wasn't thinking. I let my anger cloud my vision."

It went quiet. There was a great tension between them. Ahsoka understood that Anakin had lost his way before, but this was something else. Anakin didn't want her to think of him differently. He wanted to be forgiven. Maybe, he thought, now that someone knows, that can happen.

Padme stepped in front of Anakin and faced Ahsoka.

"Was there anything else that you heard, Ahsoka?"

Ahsoka nodded her head. "You two got married shortly after the battle of Geonosis."

"Yes."

"I won't tell anyone! About the Sand People or your marriage!"

Padme smiled. "I know we can trust you."

Ahsoka smiled back. "You know, it's funny because when you look at it, it's really obvious that you two…."

"Shhhh!" Anakin interrupted.

"What?" Ahsoka asked.

"Just be quiet for a second."

Anakin was looking around him. He had felt a tremor in the force. He was ready in case something was to attack him. This is why he hated Tatooine. There are too many dangers that the dust ball held.

"Ahsoka, take Padme and go back to camp." Anakin said quietly.

Padme and Ahsoka looked around. "Why?" Ahsoka asked. "There's nothing here."

"Just do as you're told!" Anakin snapped.

Ahsoka shook her head and gestured toward the camp. "After you Senator."

Walking away, right as they were about to pass the rocks, they were surrounded. From all sides, they couldn't move. Tusken Raiders had appeared out of nowhere.

"Ahsoka!" Anakin yelled, taking out his lightsaber. "Get Padme out of here!"

"Not possible Master! They're everywhere."

Ahsoka drew her lightsaber.

"Wait!" Padme said, bringing both Anakin and Ahsoka's arms down. "They aren't attacking."

Anakin became even tenser. Something wasn't right. There was a dark influence here. He could sense it.

"What do you want?" Anakin yelled.

Just then a dark figure walked from between the lines of Tuskens. He was wearing black pants, long sleeved black shirt. A black hood covered his face.

"I'm only here to stop you, nothing big." The dark figure said as he pulled back his hood. He had three scars that came across his face. He also had long black hair with red streaks in it.

Anakin held his lightsaber against the newcomer's neck. "Who are you?"

The figure raised his hand. It had long sharp claws. He grabbed the blade of the lightsaber and pulled it out of Anakin's hands. Anakin took a couple steps back.

The man chuckled. "My name is Krovan." Within a blink of an eye, he was next to Ahsoka. He grabbed her arm and twisted it, causing her to drop her lightsaber.

Anakin ran at Krovan. Right when Anakin was about to hit him, he was gone. He appeared behind Anakin and pushed him forward. A cable flew out of Krovan's wrist and wrapped around Anakin's feet. He pulled on the cable and Anakin fell to the desert floor.

"Now you are truly pathetic." Krovan said. "They told me not to underestimate you, but so far, I don't see what the big deal is." He pulled on the wire and pressed a button on his wrist. Electricity shot through Anakin's body. He lied on the floor, screaming in pain. Ahsoka ran to go help him, but Krovan threw a disk at her feet which caused a red shield to surround her and Padme.

"I don't think so. Let's see how Skywalker fares without his friends." He turned off the electricity.

Slowly Anakin got to his feet. He touched his cheek and felt the sting of a cut from his fall. He looked at Krovan. Then to Ahsoka and Padme.

"Let them go."

Krovan shook his head. "I'll make you a deal instead. If you can beat me," he said throwing Anakin his lightsaber. "Then I'll let your friends go and I'll be on my way. If I win, then your friends can bring you back to Courasaunt in a body bag. What do you say?"

Anakin ignited his lightsaber. Yes he would fight, but he wasn't so sure he could win. What else could he do though? He couldn't run. Ahsoka and Padme would be stuck with this guy. His only option was to stay and fight.
