3rd POV
Every person was forced to turn their attention to the entering smoke, some like Deaton, Melissa and Rafael McCall looked apprehensive, like they knew what was happening, "Melissa!" the voice rasped, the sound was akin to a rock side and ice cracking along with nails on a chalk board.
The voice sent a chill down the spines of everyone in the room while Melissa stiffened, "Father?" she asked.
The smoke began to form itself into the shape of man—an ashen man with eyes of pulsing light. He looked around the room, "You remember me daughter I see," he said looking directly at Scott. "A shame you also seemed to remember to deny me the right to see my grandson. I could have taught him our ways." He took a deep breath, "It's such a shame really. He could have been unstoppable."
Melissa stepped protectively in front of Scott, "I will not have my son become a monster like you," she spat. "All you would have done is poison his psyche. You can take your ways and shove them where the sun don't shine."
Melissa's father laughed, "A fine speech daughter," he mocked. "But, he is a dark druid not unlike us. He will never be able to shoot rainbows and butterflies from his hand. His power won't help him beat baddies with hugs and kisses. You know this little bee."
"As if I would trust my son to you," Melissa spat at her father. "You led those monsters here."
The ashen man sighed derisively, "You think I want that Melissa?" he asked, "I have been shielding their sense away from your son—my grandson. I know full well what they would do to him, and I don't want that either. But I am not as powerful as I was before. I can no longer shield him from their senses. Your brother Leandro has grown in power—dangerously so, but stands firmly with me, and there is your sister Valeria who was dangerous beyond reckoning as a child, now she has not only grown much in power, but also in lust of it. She led Lycaon and his sons here not I or your brother."
Rafael looked at the ashen man with apprehension, "Then why are you here Santiago?" he asked. "I will not let you take my son. I will fight you if I have to."
Santiago laughed without humour, "I'm sure you would," he said. "But even weak as I am, you are no match for me boy. I wish your son no harm. I want to warn him."
Scott walked from behind his mother and father until he was facing his grandfather, "Warn me of what?" he asked with mustered courage.
Santiago took a nice good look at Scott almost as if he was analysing him, "Ah grandson, how nice it is to meet you," he said. "I see you are a fine young man. If only these were better circumstance we meet under, but alas we make due with what we have been given."
Santiago's eyes descended on Cora who stood just behind Scott and smiled warmly at her like he knew something they didn't, "I want to tell you a story," he said. "Before I give you the warning."
Everyone in the room could not believe what they were hearing, "A story?" Malia asked incredulously.
"Yes young coyote. A story," said Santiago. "In a time long forgotten, a beautiful woman was moulded from clay and given life by the gods. The woman was endowed with great beauty and cunning by the gods. They named her Pandora, the first mortal woman. Zeus king of the gods gave Pandora to Epimetheus to be his wife and commissioned his son Hephaestus to create a pithos—a jar. The jar was given to the couple as a wedding present. Pandora was told never to open the pithos. After the wedding Pandora opened the pithos, releasing all of the evils to plague humanity until only Elpis remained inside. The end."
"What is the purpose of the story?" Scott asked.
"Why did hope remain inside?" Santiago asked.
Stiles looked at Scott's grandfather, "So that humanity could suffer without reprieve." He said.
Scott shook his head, "To release hope from the pithos is to give up hope. It is to open ourselves to fear and despair," he whispered. "In the end it is with hope we find the strength to move forward. It's with hope that we find courage to fight when fear has gripped our hearts."
"Yes grandson," Santiago agreed. "A single blessing to help succour mankind in their suffering. My warning to you is that dark days are coming, the darkness is coming and it will test you beyond what you believe you can bare, but never give up hope. Until we meet again Grandson, may the fates smile kindly upon you."
The smoke that had formed into Santiago blew away like the winds leaving behind an audience of stunned silence.
"Dude your family is so messed up," Stiles said breaking the dead silence. "I hope you know that."
Scott shook his head, "You're also my part of my family Stiles," he said with a smile. "That makes you messed up too."
"Boys!" Melissa chided. "You can continue your courtship dance later."
Rafael looked at Melissa and scowled, "Why didn't you tell me that Santiago was a Dark Druid?" he asked. "And that you're a Dark druid."
Melissa snorted, "You never told me you were a Druid," she retorted. "And you don't just go to someone and say, 'hi honey. Guess what, I'm a dark druid. Yeah like a druid only dark, and possibly evil.' That conversation would've had me committed to Eichen House before I could blink."
Rafael huffed, "I'm not that unreasonable, I—" he tried.
"You are about as reasonable as a box of stone," Melissa said cutting him off while heading for the door to go home. "Scott, we are going home. I have a shift in an hour."
Scott was about to leave with his parents when Cora pulled him to a stop, she leaned closer to him and kissed his cheek so tenderly that his feet nearly gave way, "Thanks for the save," she said with a shy smile.
Scott's ethereal eyes lit up and his brow creased into an appreciative smile, "Anytime," he choked out before his face flushed. "I should…um…"
Cora laughed, "You should get going," she finished for him, she leaned again, but this time she cupped his face into her hands and kissed him long and hard until both their lips were glossy and swollen with pleasure.
Scott smiled and staggered off leaving Cora in a fit of giggles, something she had never stooped low enough to do, but she was happy all the same.

Leandro paced the edges of his room with a quick unconscious grace to his strides, "You play a dangerous game father," he said to the other man sitting on a small throne chair. "They will find out what you did, you know that don't you?"
Santiago took a sip of tea while he watched his son pace the room, "I'm ten thousand years old Leandro," he said. "I was ancient when that pup Lycaon was sucking on his mother's milk."
Leandro nodded, "That maybe true father," he said. "But you are weaker than you once were."
Santiago shook his head, "No my son," he said. "Not only weaker, but you have also gained power beyond what I ever thought possible."
"That can't be true father," Leandro denied his father's claim.
"Your power is far greater than my own my son," Santiago reaffirmed. "Greater than I had even in my prime."
Leandro stopped his pacing and sat on a chair beside his father, "Tell me about my nephew," he said. "What is he like?; How powerful is he?"
"He has his mother's heart and courage," he said. "He is on the cusp of ascension, but his mate will keep him grounded. I like her very much."
Leandro looked at his father with confusion, "Ascension into what?" he asked.
Santiago sighed, "I don't know for sure," he confessed, "he will become something else—something more than he is now, but two things are certain."
"They are?"
"He will need his mate by his side," answered Santiago. "And his mortal body will begin to feel the strain that comes with his power. No mortal body was ever meant to hold the power he does."
"I would like to meet them," said Leandro leaning forward from his seat with a hearty smile.
"Good," replied Santiago. "Because you are to be his mentor in Dark druidic magic."
Leandro laughed, "he will probably hate that," he said.
Santiago sighed, "People always assume because something is dark than it must be evil," he said. "Where in truth the only difference between being a Druid and a Dark Druid is where and how we drew our powers from."
"Its also the reason why there are so few of us and there are so many of them." Leandro added.
"Indeed," Santiago said. "Tomorrow you are to begin his training,"
Leandro looked at his father with concern, "So soon?" he asked.
"Yes better it be now than later when we have no time," he said, "Be careful not to draw Val's attention."
Leandro watched the fire crackle in the fireplace for a moment, "You make it sound so bleak father," he said.
"It's worse, much worse and that I can assure you,"

Two figures stood at the top of the loft waiting for Scott and his pack to exit the building. Both figures had an air of power to them. One of the two was male and he was tall about 6.3" and imposing with a serenely beautiful male face only just saved from being pretty by his strong jaw and sharp cheek bones. His hair was the colour of a raven's feathers, his eyes the colour of tilted soil and skin kissed gently by the sun.
The other figure was female, and she too was tall and imposing. Her face was ethereally beautiful…perhaps too beautiful to truly be of the earth. Her hair was the colour of the midnight sky and large amber eyes that swirled with barely restrained power. Her skin had the tone of olive with a golden aura to it.
The man looked at the woman, "It has been long sister," he said.
The woman gave him a nod, but remained silent as her eyes were transfixed by the sight of Scott and his friends.
The man sighed, "You don't have to be here sister," he said.
The woman turned to her brother, "But I must brother," she said. "I am simply contemplating how I will face him after so long."
"He will forgive you," the man said. "But you owe him the truth—the whole truth. We do not lie to our allies and you should not lie to him."
The woman shook her head, "Easy for you to suggest that," she said. "You bare no attachment to them as I do."
The man looked at her and frowned, "And is the fault mine?" he asked. "Did I not warn you against it?"
The woman shook her head and set her gaze on the group, "You don't understand," she said finally. "You have never been one of them as I have. You haven't ever fallen in love as they do."
The man's frown deepened, "You presume much sister," he said. "But you bare truth on one thing. I am not one of them. I am as I have been created and I feel no shame to be as I am. How can I love another when there is none for myself? No sister, true lasting love begins with you and flows outwards. I have been in love before sister and I made no move to change who I am and what I am."
"When?" asked the man's sister.
The man sighed, "In the beginning," he answered.
The woman stared at her brother, "You mean…" she trailed off.
"Yes," he said.
His sister laughed, "Here I am wallowing in my self pity when I should have been feeling sorry for you," she said.
"There is no need," he said. "Pain comes with joy and love. I accepted that long ago. Now we have a task ahead of us."
His gaze landed on Scott then moved to Liam and scowled.
His sister noticed the scowl, "What's the matter?" she asked.
He pointed at Liam, "That boy is not yet trustworthy," he said. "He may betray his Alpha."
"He is but a boy," his sister said.
He gave his sister a nod, "A boy, yes," he agreed. "But dangerous. There is darkness in the boy's heart. More than a fifteen year old should possess."
His sister stared at Liam for a moment then gave a nod, "I feel it," she said. "What must I do should he betray Scott?"
The man's eyes hardened, "Remove his powers," he said. "Make him human once more and send him on his way. Scott will need Cora to harden him. He is much to soft and trusting."
His sister gave him an affirmative nod, "Indeed," she said. "He is such a sweet boy that one. He needs a mate like Cora to keep him grounded. I'm glad they have formed a bond so soon."
The man smiled, "Yes," he said. "You must prevent Deaton, Santiago and Leandro from teaching Scott druidic magic."
The woman looked at the man curiously, "Why?" she asked.
His smiled widened, "If they teach him their magic, it will take him and his Cora longer to ascend to their rightful place at our side," he said. "And the quicker you can train your nephilim son."
The woman smiled a brilliant smile, "I like that," she said. "How long do they have until they ascend?"
The man's eyes twinkled, "Three days," he answered before his smile dropped. "But it will be a very painful time for him and Cora. They must stay together if they are to survive this. Lycaon will launch an attack soon."
The woman sighed, "What about Santiago and Leandro?" she asked her brother.
"Leave them to me," he said. "You have a long night ahead of you. Scott must destroy them in three days time when he is weakest for him to ascend to full power. And watch the servant of Hades. Be well sister."
The man vanished without a bang or flash of light. He was just gone leaving his sister to her work.
She sighed and leapt towards the group.

Scott was about to enter the car when he caught sight of woman leaping towards them. He summoned his claws and his eyes flashed. The others stopped what they were doing and looked at Scott. The woman landed a few feet away from them with a warm smile, "Hello Scott," she said before her eyes went to land on Stiles. "Hello Stiles."
Scott knew her voice, he knew it well, "Mrs Stilinski?" he asked, because her voice was the same, but she looked different from before. She now had an ethereal quality that a human cannot.
Her smile broadened, "I was once," she said. "But for all intent yes."
Stiles' entire body froze with shock, "Mom," he managed to squeak out before tackling his mother with a fierce hug.
The Sheriff stood there shaking his head like this was all just a terrible dream, "This can't be real," he began to chant over and over
Stiles stopped crying, "How?" he asked with still quivering lips.
"I am what I once were now," she said. "I am Claudia no longer. Claudia died all those year ago son. But I am still and always will be your mother."
She walked over to the sheriff who back away from her before the yearning to feel her touch overwhelmed him. "How are you alive?" he asked. "I buried you."
The former Claudia Stilinski frowned, her eyes dimming with sadness, "You did bury me Viktor. Claudia did die," she said as she kissed his cheek. "But Claudia was also just an incarnation of me."
The Sheriff closed his eyes when his not so dead wife kissed him. "Than who are you?" he asked when he opened his eyes and saw those ancient eyes that held such power that he looked away with a shudder raking his body.
The woman smiled, "My true name is Jophiel," she proclaimed.
