Talk about last minute but got this in before my 2 month deadline. I've just got a new job, well training for one so I've been somewhat occupied but hopefully I'll be writing a bit more often. Anyways now it's Cloud's turn and he's being surprisingly cooperative for being, well, Cloud.

The wind rushed past as he drove along the empty road. He hadn't passed anyone on the road, though he wasn't surprised. He ignored the ringing of his phone and listened as Yuffie's voice came through on the voicemail. He knew if he answered Yuffie would rant on him for being a 'broody bastard' as she liked to call him. He liked the quiet. But he was no longer doing things alone, that whole situation with Kadaj and his brothers and Sephiroth finally started him on the path of healing. He has a purpose now, no longer wandering around aimlessly. He remembered another time, another place where something similar had happened. Or rather the whole finding a purpose thing. In that other world, with the war. He's pretty sure it was a dream if not for a couple of scars he definitely didn't have before the dream. It's Barret on the voice mail this time; Yuffie really wants to get a hold of him. Oh well, he's heading back that way anyways may as well see whatever it is Yuffie wants.

He hasn't forgotten them, well he had but they came back with the rest of his memories at Modeoheim. He doesn't normally think about them but with everything that had been happening recently and the similarities between the two times. Of the other people stuck in that crazy war.

The Knight, who went by Warrior of Light

Firion, who helped give him a reason to keep on fighting

The kid, Onion Knight, another Knight but too young and too old at the same time

Cecil, another struggling with darkness like himself

Bartz, who thought everything was a game

Terra, someone he'd been able to give hope to, something he had never thought possible

Squall, another loner like himself

Zidane who was honestly as bad as Yuffie was

Tidus, who'd been angry at his father but had been a healthy optimist otherwise

Vincent this time, Yuffie was really desperate. Oh well he was almost there anyways.

He couldn't keep living in the past, dilly dally shilly shally and all that. No more lingering on Sephiroth, or things he couldn't change. He's got to keep moving forward, and that means leaving his past behind, even the maybe-dreams one…though he did wonder, whether their dream had been fulfilled.

"Sure. You don't have to sound so surprised. Yeah, I'll let them know, Cloud." Tifa smiled as she wiped down the bar, speaking to Cloud on the phone. He'd been distant for a long time, Tifa had thought they'd lost him all together. But he was back now, and that was what mattered. Cloud could brood with the best of them, but that was Cloud and she really wouldn't have him any other way.

Well, that's Cloud…might be a bit out of character but it was kind of late when I wrote this…if you are wondering when this is, well it's from the DVD extra on FF VII Advent Children where the phone conversations happen. So this is wrapped around an actual 'cannon' scene sort of. Again, like Terra it has been a long time though Cloud's memories are a lot less faded. The whole thing was kind of a dream to Cloud and also, the crystal doesn't appear cause the White Materia is something he has anyways plus he's driving. Is he going to pull it out, though he probably could. Next up is Squall, who is going to play hardball I can already tell, sigh.
