Chapter Six
::Remember Me::
"I've tried everything I can think of." Cathy complained to the doctor on the vid-phone. "It's been weeks and nothing I do helps this migraine. He's losing weight because he either can't eat or throws-up what little he can! Are the other's suffering from such a violent side effect?"
/"I haven't received any reports of any side effects from any of the other subjects."/ The doctor mused on the other end. /"On a pain scale of 1-10, what is his pain level?"/
"He says it's a 15." She shook her head.
/"And the prescription doesn't help?"/
"It just makes him more nauseous."
The doctor frowned as he scribbled a note in the young man's file. /"Are you aware of any history prior the procedure that involved a head injury?"/
"Last year, he was the victim of an attack in outer space. He lost his memory for several months." She frowned. "He was a soldier. Who knows how many times his head got knocked around."
The doctor scribbled some more. /"We were not made aware of that incident and we should have been. This unknown injury could be the result of his migraines now."/
"What can we do?" She pressed.
/"Nothing. To attempt further treatment bares the possibility of further damage. The risks are too great. I can prescribe another medication, but I doubt it will help."/
"Then what good are you!" She growled hanging up on the man.

"It's been weeks! What do you mean, there isn't any sign of him!?" Relena glared at her guest while hissing, "He is just a kid! There's only so far he could go!"
"Winner is not just a Kid." Lady Une reminded, sipping her tea. "He's a Gundam Pilot and he has all the skills that would imply. In addition, he's the heir to the Winner fortune, which gives him unlimited resources."
The Vice Foreign Minister snorted, "No, Hiiro was a Gundam Pilot and I had no problems keeping up with him. The others were wannabes, trying to steal his glory. As for Quatre, his assets are frozen; there is no way for him to access them."
"Unless he finds a sympathetic sister. It's foolish to underestimate them." The older woman warned. "Even with their memories erased, they can still be dangerous."
The girl rolled her eyes, "Puh-lease."
"Vice Foreign Minister, I have spent the past year fighting those young men. They are worthy adversaries; Zero-Four was their strategist."
Relena's glare became murderous, "You just can't allow, for a brief moment, that my plan succeeded, Can You!? I took the most dangerous terrorists and made them as helpless as kittens. They are completely dependent on their handlers and will be for the rest of their lives."
"And what about Zero-Two? He doesn't have a handler."
Her smirk became predatory, "He's no worry of mine. The streets will solve that problem for me."
"I'm wondering, Miss Relena, if we used the procedure on the correct person."
"What's that supposed to mean?" There was a knock on the door. "Come in!" She snapped.
"Nothing, just thinking out loud." Lady Une murmured, setting her tea cup down and standing to leave as Hiiro entered.
"Hm. Well think of something productive, and find Quatre Raberba Winner!" She pasted on a bright smile on for her intended, once the other woman had departed. "Toya, Darling! How wonderful of you to stop by! You are looking much better!"
"I feel better." The messy haired teen shrugged, "So much so, that I think I'm going to take a trip."
"A-A trip?" Relena blinked, ""This seems sudden?"
"I've been planning it for the better part of two weeks."
"B-But Toya, Dear, I don't have any vacation time available; it's all tied up for the honeymoon." She smiled her fake smile.
"No." Toya smirked. "I'm going on a trip. Just me."
"You-You can't!" The girl protested.
"Why not? What's stopping me?" He raised an expectant eyebrow.
Flustered, she stammered for a plausible reason, as her mind raced, 'This wasn't supposed to be happening! He's supposed to be completely reliant on me! Can't do anything without me! What the Hell is going on!? If those doctors fucked up the programming…'
"I'm going, Relena." He said with finality.
"H-How long will you be gone?" she wilted. "A-A week maybe?"
He tilted his head, thinking for a moment, before answering, "Until I come back."
She reached for him, but he turned away before she could touch him. Walking over to the door, he stooped down to pick up a duffle that she hadn't noticed before.
He was gone before she knew it.
