I do not own RHPS
The deafening alarm reverberated around the room as a giant metal door came crashing down, nearly crushing her father and his new "Playmate."
"EDDIE!" Columbia squealed, "Eddie!?" Vendetta gasped with disturbed confusion. A roaring motorcycle skidded out of the deep freeze chamber and Eddie removed his helmet with a whoop. He had a deep cut across half of his forehead and frost covered his clothes. He wore the same thing he wore the night he supposedly "Died"
His Leather jacket was more of a vest, with it's sleeves ripped off. Vendetta made him the vest, and remembered how many times she had screwed up on the collar while sewing on that cheetah print fabric. The metal studs had ruined three be-dazzlers.
The entire room stared with shock and Frank leaned against the wall with a half amused, half agitated look across his face. While the only look on Vendetta's face a betrayal mixed with slight hints of joy and confusion. Eddie spun with his usual carefree charm. "What ever happened to Saturday night?" He sang.
"When you're at the job and you felt alright. It don't seem the same since cosmic light came into my life. I thought it was divine!" Eddie's attention had been caught by Columbia and he enjoyed a reunion with his ex-lover. While Vendetta sat burning with rage, and scowled heatedly at the siblings who were dancing to Eddie's song.
"Hot Pattotie bless my soul! I really love that Rock'N'Roll!" Columbia pulled away from Eddie and pushed in Vendetta to replace her. Eddie wrapped his beefy hands around her waist and swung her around. She temporarily forgot her anger and laughed as she danced with her long lost friend.
Vendetta swiped the white scarf off of his neck and laughed when he plopped her on the back of his bike and revved up the motor. Off to the side Frank's eyes widened and he stiffened as Eddie started up his motorcycle with his daughter clinging to his waist with his scarf about her neck.
Frank felt white hot rage fill him as he stomped into the freezer chamber and evacuated Riff Raff and Magenta from the chamber and grabbed a large icepick from the wall.
Vendetta whooped with joy as the party guests dodged the deafening cycle. They rolled down the pink inclined ramp and down to the main floor when Eddie stopped the motorcycle and removed Vendetta from the back. He suddenly stopped singing when he stopped frank with the large Ice pick and a menacing smile.
The entire room went silent except from Columbia's screamed as the scientist chased Eddie into the chamber before they both when concealed by the thick steamy mist. Vendetta's scream of shock and terror joined Columbia's, only hers was long and drawn out, and then silence.
Frank emerged from the fog covered in blood, Columbia had been silenced and Vendetta felt as if she might collapse. She had just witnessed her father murder her friend in cold blood. The Teen's distress must had be fairly obvious from the look on her face because Riff hastened to her side.
Frank glanced at her and outstretched his arms, "Oh Baby!" he cooed. Vendetta stumbled back as he attempted to embrace her, Frank crossed his arms like she was being unreasonable. "Now don't be upset." He pouted and turned to the rest of the room. "It was a mercy killing."
He walked over to Rocky who had and ever confused look on his face, "He had a certain Naïve charm." He clarified to the tanned blonde, who would willingly believe anything the scientist would say, "But no muscle."
Rocky flexed his oiled muscles and Frank squealed, "But a deltoid, and a tricep." he caroled, "A hot groin and a bicep. Makes me." He shuttered, "Shake!"
"Makes me want to take Charles Atlas by the …Hand." He sang. "I just seven days I can make you a Man." A Makeshift wedding ceremony took place as he and Rocky hooked arms and the crowd chanted as the two entered their "Wedding Suite."
The crowd dispersed ad Vendetta stood in a daze, "Vendetta?" Janet approached her cautiously, "A-are you alright?" Riff grabbed the stunned teen's hands, "She will be fine, she's just stunned." He explained, "Magenta and Columbia will show you to your rooms."
The Domestic and the groupie roughly led the humans to their separate rooms and Riff half dragged Vendetta to her room. "Vendetta, can you hear me?" he asked.
When one of their kind is severely distressed or threatened, it is not uncommon for them to go into a trance like state which lasts up to fifteen minutes. It was an out dated defense instinct, not unlike a opossum on earth. The handyman waited until she gradually emerged from her stupor.
The first thing out of her mouth was a breath gasp, followed by a distraught moan, "You knew!" she accused, "You all knew!"
"Yes, yes." Riff didn't bother denying it, for years, the entire household had been careful to keep many of the doctor's secrets from the ears of his daughter. "Why?" she asked, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"The doctor didn't want you to know that…." He cut off suddenly, unsure how the already unstable teen would react.
"What? Didn't want me to know what, tell me." She demanded.
The handyman sighed, "What the hell, we're already down the rabbit hole." He shrugged, "your father didn't want you to know that he took out half of Eddie's brain and transferred it to Rocky." Vendetta took in a breath sharply. "He knew how much you liked Eddie, so he thought it would be easier for you to handle Eddie dying, instead of knowing Rocky was half Eddie."
Vendetta stood in the middle of the messy room with a hand cupped over her mouth, she simply shook her head, "I mourned Eddie for three months, I thought I had lost one of my best friends."
She didn't tear up too much, she was not easily moved to tears but this was almost too much. "It was like you losing Magenta, or when my father lost mom." She shook her head as if trying to deny the situation she was in. "How could you, all of you, watch me for three months, knowing that it was all for mot?!" she turned away from him but Riff only seemed a barely ashamed.
"I'm sorry for the pain you went through, but would it have been any better? Knowing that your father had removed Eddie's brain, well half of it anyway."
Vendetta wasn't ready to forgive him just yet, but she couldn't help but wonder if Eddie was better off. "And what about the Humans, they witnessed a Murder and as far as I'm aware that is illegal on all planets."
"The master will most likely…."
"No, I can't let that happen, they're good people I won't let any more blood be spilt, not while I'm in this house." Vendetta stated firmly.
"I am willing to forgive you all Riff, but only if you promise not to let my father kill or otherwise injure those Humans. I couldn't live with myself if they were killed to." Vendetta outstretched her hand, "Do we have a deal?"
Riffraff rose from the bed and shook her hand, "Deal." Vendetta smiled, "Okay, I'm sorry I blew up at you, It's not like you had much of a choice." She shrugged.
"Well, if you need anything, you know where I am." He shook off any extra glitter that may have clung to his coat from the bed. "Okay, and Riff?" she stopped him, "Promise me you will keep me updated okay?" she stared him down.
"Well if you want to be kept updated, you should know that your father intended to bed both of the humans tonight." Riff informed her plainly
Vendetta rolled her eyes, "I know, but what's the worst that could happen? That marriage is doomed anyways." She shrugged.
"Now, shoo, I have to wash all this make up off." Riff closed the door. And sighed once he was a few feet away from the room.
"that poor kid is going to need some major therapy when this is over"
