AthenaRome.-
I'm so happy at all the attention this story is getting for a writer as unknown and unremarkable as me, thank all you guys, it's because of your positive reactions that I was able to make Chapter VI nearly double the length of Chapter III. This is The Clone Wars Part II which will lead into the Army of Tython arc, which I have high hopes for.
In this fabulous Chapter Vi Anaka Skywalker's need for Padme's love and Chancellor Palpatine's approval brings the young Chosen One into a rapid downward spiral to the Dark Side, will Skywalker fall to the Dark Side? Can anyone stop Anaka from becoming a Sith? Find out in this chapter.
Also in this chapter Juno Thermosphere gets displeased at the Jedi Council's decisions regarding the War with The Confederacy of Independant Systems, The Grand Army of The Republic, and The Rediscovery of Tython.
Read, Review, and Enjoy!
The Consequences of Forbidden Force.
Chapter VII.
The Clone Wars. Part II.
Anaka Skywalker.
Since the mission on Athiss I have been fascinated with Tethys Gigantes and her mastery of the Dark Side, with that kind of power I could make sure no one close to me ever dies, with that kind of power I could get the respect I deserve, with that kind of power I could make the Galaxy safe for Padme. If I had that kind of power I would never again feel fear and worry, with that kind of power I would be absolute.
Tethys seemed more powerful ever time I saw her so I'm guessing she binded more Spirits than just Tesalla Je on Athiss, in fact I bet that she binded a Spirit on each and every mission she was on. The Jedi Council would surely notice, but what would they do?
They can't compete with that kind of power.
They can't defeat someone tha rised from slavery to royalty in Lightsaber combat.
They can't outsmart a former Dark of The Sith that had helped bring the Sith Empire to Hell and Back during the Galactic War.
They can't even survive against Tethys and they know that.
Tethys Gigantes is untouchable.
I wanted to be like her, I want to have the power and authority to make demands tha will be answered no matter how ludicrous, I want to be someone who's very mention could scare the very Hutts that enslaved me and my mother on Tatooine, I want to be someone powerful enough go destroy any foe, I want to be like Tethys Gigantes. I want to be a Sith.
But then again I had been taught to fight against the darkness since Obi-Sha Kenobi began teaching me, Qui-Gon Jin himself told me it was my destiny o Light the Darkness, I was the Chosen One, I was supposed to be The Champion of The Light. The Jedi had taught me that the Dark Side was evil.
However I married Padme on Naboo, I truly loved her, how could it be evil to use the full power if the Force to save a loved one? How could it be evil to use The Dark Side to make sure that Padme is safe?
Tethys Gigantes was practically the Full Power of The Dark Side in the form of a beautiful red-skinned Twi'Lek, meanwhile Juo Thermosphere was practically the ideal Jedi in the body of a strong Miraluka. The Dark Side or The Light Side? Which side of The Force was the right one? Jedi or Sith?
Maybe I should ask Chancellor Palpatine about this.
Illontra Ryz's perspective.
After the Kashyyyk mission I had decided that I would need a new set of Robes, I had used Tethys' black and orange Saber Marshall robes as inspiration, replacing the black with the customary brown of Jedi Robes and the orange with white. I had instantly fallen in love with the results but unlike Gigantes I preferred having the hood down.
I was in my quarters looking in the mirror, my pale green skin and short black hair gave a striking contrast to the robes, I liked these much more than my old plain brown wool robes. The perfected design of my Double-Bladed Lightsaber was attached to my belt.
I had based the new hilt on hilts used in the Galactic War era, using red durasteel to contrast the four exposed crystal chambers containing my Yellow-Green Crystals, the exposed chambers were at the middle and the ends of the weapon with thin tubes in the middle giving me a place to hold the weapon. I had appreciated this design much more in my training, Master Thermosphere has been busy planning so I can't wait untill she notices my changes.
The Missions under Tethys had spanned the course of two months and in those my confidence had increased tremendously, I was now confident that I could be Juno's Padawan so I felt that I needed to look the part of a apprentice to a legendary master. For the first time in my life I felt like I was something special, Master Thermosphere has no idea how much her teachings have affected my personality.
What she does know is that I've mastered Niman and Vaapad, I was making excellent progress in Shien, I was about to be eligible for Knighthood by The Cohncil's definition but I knew that Master Juno would have me being the ideal Jedi long before she actually let's me take the trials, even then I was fine with that.
Feeling satisfied with my appearance I decided to leave my quarters, running directly into Master Thermosphere. She had her hood down and her Mandolorian Battle Maks was off, she still wore her eye coverings but that was probably for the best, Miraluke lacked eyes but they had blatantly obvious eye sockets, the eye coverings were for social reasons.
"Oh...um...sorry Master..." I was kinda embarrassed that I ran directly into my master, she didn't fall or anything, but I still made myself look like a idiot.
"It's fine, The Jedi Council requested our presence." she walked off and I followed, i was the slightly shorter and thinner than her, I was smaller in build than even Tethys, I wasn't particularly threatening which was probably part of the reason my confidence was nonexistent, though now thanks to Master Thermosphere I am finally seizing myself as a effective Jedi, I am finally confident in my abilities.
"Master, I'd like to thank you for taking me as a Padawan, if it wasn't for your teachings I'd still be a sad excuse for a Jedi that doesn't even know her self-worth. Master, what I'm saying is that I'm grateful for you, I'm grateful that you had such a big impact on my life, thank you."
"Illontra, i did nothing but teach you, you unlocked your own potential, you mastered two Lightsaber forms with a third on the way, all I did was give your push. Illontra you are a great Jedi and I'm am honored to have been able to teach you." Juno Thermosphere is like no other Jedi, she is the personification of the Light Side of The Force, not once have I seen her do something that wasn't for the greater good. My Master is the perfect Jedi, powerful, good, humble, and calm.
"Master it's a honor to learn under you."
"I appreciate the compliment Illontra, it's a honor to train you aswell" She seemed to finally notice my change in appearance "Nice new look, trying to impress anyone?" Master Thermosphere had her moments of fun which I appreciated, they weren't common but they did happen.
"No, I just want to look like something greater than a average Padawan, thanks to you I finally have confidence."
"Now I don't want to burst your bubble but there's a thin line between confidence and arrogance, confidence is a good thing to have but arrogance can lead to a lust for power that leads to the Dark Side, you must always be we to make the distinction."
"Warning noted Master." we reached the elevator going up to the Jedi Council Chambers.
Yoda, Mace Windu, Obi-Sha Kenobi, Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, and Kit Fisto were in The Council chambers, it seemed as if they had been arguing, the room was filled with tension and anger. Someone had disagreed and it had not ended well, I had a feeling that this would result I'm another argument, or something worse.
"Juno Thermoshere," Mace Windu took a deep breath, whatever he was going to say it would make Juno angry and he knew it "After the victories on Korriban, Kashyyyk, and Athiss the Jedi Council has decided that we will be formally leaving the conflict, we feel that the Jedi shouldn't be so weaponized. Considering your importance in the recent victories we felt the need to tell you." I could sense that Master Thermosphere was about to have a outburst of epic proportions.
"The Grand Army of The Republic depends on the Jedi for its Command structure, if you leave the conflict major loses will occur, The Confederacy of Independant Systems and Count Dooku's hidden master will have the opportunity to rebound. I request that further militarization takes place, the Separatists must be destroyed for the greater good of The Republic." Juno's reply was surprisingly calm.
"No, to many young Jedi are rapidly nearing the Dark Side, we cannot stay in this conflict." Obi-Sha replied.
"I really hate to do this, and I really don't want to do this but if necessary I will mass together a Army of Jedi to destroy the Confederacy of Independant Systems, if necessary I will form a Army of Light to banish the Sith, I will ensure that The Republic doesn't fall to the Sith." I was legitimately speechless, that Master Thermosphere would defy The Council for the service of Light, I knew that she always worked towards the greater good but I never thought that she would go so far as to openly defy The Council.
"I'm sure that you are aware that what you are suggesting would be treason." Mace Windu responded once he had recovered from the shock.
"If it's treason to save the Galaxy, then I'll be glad to commit it." Master Thermosphere promptly stormed off, I at first followed but I took the opportunity to hide in a corridor and listen in on the conversation between the Jedi Council.
"She is right you know, The Clones will be in disarray without Jedi Commanders." PLO-Koon said it eventually.
"A cost it is, but a cost that we must take." Yoda replied solemnly.
"Forgive me, Grandmaster but I disagree with what happened. You just drive the legendary Hero of Tython away, respite the fact all her points are valid." Kit Fisto, the normally jolly Jedi Master seemed literally pissed. I decided to just walk away while The Jedi Council argued behind me, I already knew that Master Thermosphere's Army of Light would draw in a vast majority of Jedi.
Anaka Skywalker's perspective.
When I had entered the Chancellor's Office I saw one thing I would have never suspected, Chancellor Palpatine looked angry, like something had gone entirely the wrong way and he couldn't do anything about it. However when he noticed me, his regular smile returned, as if I could fix his problem.
"Anaka hello, I'm sure you've heard the news." I had no idea Waht he was talking about but I had a feeling tha whatever it was it's the thing that made Chancellor Palpatine so angry.
"No, what's the news?"
"The Jedi Council has chosen to leave the conflict, without Generals to lead them the Grand Army of The Republic is useless. Something needs to happen, something or someone has to get the Jedi to retake control of The Clones. Separatist victory could only be stopped by collaboration between Jedi and Clone, unless..." The Chancellor looked at me, like I was the answer to all of his problems "...unless a General rises to take the Clone Army under her wing."
"But Chancellor the Jedi wouldn't allow one of their own to take on a Clone Army, they'd stop me and strip me of The Force!"
"If they would strip The Chosen One of The Force when she is serving the Greater Good perhaps they should be eliminated."
"Chancellor you can't be serious!" I said this but inside I felt like doing it, I felt like leading a massacre, I felt like destroying the Jedi, I felt like falling to the Dark Side.
"I am serious, let me tell you The Story of Darth Plagueis."
The Army of Tython Arc starts next and after that Order 66 is interrupted by a foe that forces the Forces of The Jedi, The Sith, The Army of Tython, The Clones, and The Separatists to cooperate or die.
In the next chapter, Army of Tython Part I, Juno Thermosphere, Lord Scourge, Tethys Gigantes, Xalek, and Illontra Ryz emass all their resources, The corpse of a certain Chiss Agent, enough money to pay the Kaminoans, and even more to pay the Kuat Drive Yards and form a powerful army. Juno then sends out a call to all Jedi willing to fight the Separatists. Enjoy!
