"1, 2 and 3 turn your knee in, and 4, 5, 6, 7 jump split and 8 knee down with your arms out to catch me. It's simple." I told Jason as I danced out his steps so he would know what to do.

Jason missed class yesterday so our choreographer wants me to teach him the rest of the choreo today.

Jason's a really friendly guy, and it was pretty easy to introduce him to my friends. He stood there his eyes mockingly as he smiled slightly as he watched me dance it out.

"Good?" I asked him feeling self-conscious that he was watching my body for so long. He smiled at me. "Yep. Don't worry Maddie I can handle it. It's really easy." He bragged. I rolled my eyes.

I practiced the routine over and over yesterday in my room so I wouldn't mess up while showing him. It's not easy I can tell you that.

"Well can you try it then?" I snapped. He laughed softly.

He started dancing over the first instructions holding an imaginary me.

"No on your left foot. You have to do a complete cycle. Spin on your right foot. That needs to be a lot quicker. You forgot the lift!" I quickly started listing his mistakes.

He suddenly reached out and grabbed me pulling me into the routine. "Whoa Jason!" I giggled starting to dance along with him. He actually did pick up the choreography quickly and aside from a couple mistakes I thought we were really in sync and pretty. I laughed as he held my hands as I leaned over backwards and I could see myself in the mirror before going back up and doing a quick spin holding his hand and then he lifted me up quickly and I held my position as he spun me around. Then he held my arms as I did a back flip in his arms into the splits. I leaned my back over as Jason pulled me up quickly and we continued the routine in perfect sync.

We finished out routine nicely as I laid on his strong arms one leg straight out as I smiled up into his stunning eyes.

"And there you go. I can handle it." Jason said. I laughed as he helped me up again.

I grabbed my bag. "Good. Well I have to go practice my group dance. See you later soldier." I saluted him. He saluted me back. "Yes captain."

I laughed as I walked out of the door into the hall. He nicknamed me Captain during lunch the other day, and the name stuck. So I call him soldier to let him know I'm in charge. I walked down the hall quickly. I went into the elevator to my room. I walked into my room. I heard the sound of talking inside. Brianna probably has some of her few friends here, I thought as I grabbed my phone from the charger.

"Maddie!" I turned surprised. "Peter?" I asked shocked to see my boyfriend sitting on Brianna's bed. "What are you doing here!?"

"I came to talk to you, Brianna opened the door and said you were practicing the duet and would be back soon so I waited." Peter explained smiling at me as he got up and walked over.

I crossed my arms. "You know how she treats me! Why would you even talk to her?"

"She didn't do anything to me. I think she's really funny and sweet." Peter said. I stared at him in shock. "WHAT?" I asked not believing my ears. I could see Brianna sneering behind him.

"Peter can we please talk outside for a moment?" I ask him coldly.

"Sure okay?" He muttered walking out. I followed him shutting the door behind me.

"Okay Maddie what's the deal. First you freak out at me for introducing myself and now you're pissed out because we talked. Like seriously this is so annoying. You're not going to go all clingy "don't talk to any other girl" on me are you?" Peter snapped at me. I felt my Face blaze with anger.

"Peter I have NO problem with you talking to girls. It's your choice who you talk to, I don't OWN you. Brianna's different though. I told you what she has done to me! But you find no problem in becoming all buddy buddy with the witch who bullies your girlfriend!" I shouted.

"Okay listen Maddie. You have completely overreacted about her. After I heard HER story I think you made a mistake. She was a nervous new girl, in a big building, friendless, and frightened she wouldn't be good enough. You were pretty rude to her too. Calling her names, turning most of the grade against her, causing her to miss the very first competition and making the teachers think she was a troublemaker. You went around shit talking her to the point she would be completely avoided in the halls and stuff. I don't know about you, but I don't think Brianna's the bully here." Peter said bluntly.

I stared at him in shock my eyes tearing up. "How dare you take her side? How dare you believe all of her Lies she said about me! We have been dating for over a year and you still never trust me! I tried so hard to be friendly to her! How could you peter? What happened to the guy I use to know!? Get away from me." I turned into my room slamming the door in his face locking it.

I walked to my bed. Peter knocked on the door. "Maddie, can you please just come back out so we can talk?"

"Get lost!" I yelled at him flopping onto my bed avoiding Brianna's eyes.

My phone buzzed. Text from Peter. I stuck it under my pillow ignoring the following buzzes that came after.

Brianna's phone rang. "Hello. Hey there, hahahaha. Uh huh. Yep. Ahahaha okay I'll tell her- Maddie, Peter wants you to at least text him if you're going to refuse to talk to him." She smirked at me.

I almost choked. Peter has Brianna's number. I turned away trying to make sure Brianna doesn't see the tear of betrayal on my face.

How could Peter do this to me? And are we going to have to break up?
