The well sought after Troy Bolton had decided that he was becoming completely addicted to Gabriella Montez in the most healthy way possible. He concluded this as he lay naked under his pale blue sheet after the previous night's events. While in the car full of Troy's friends which now were Gabriella's friends as well, Troy had whispered sweet little nothings in her small ear while holding her body close to his and stroking her practically bare thigh. These sweet words consisted of him trying to persuade the beautiful brunette to go back to his and Chad's apartment. He had obviously succeeded as he was now naked, gazing down at the length of Gabriella's bare back. In the car, Gabriella knew that she should probably go home to Poppy as she had already spent the previous night at his apartment but she gave in and as soon as the two were in the slightly cool confinements of Troy's bedroom, their clothes were being stripped off by the other and once again the room was filled with passionate kisses and soft but raw moans. Troy had teased the woman as they first started to undress, saying that she must stay far into the morning at least.
Addicted. He was addicted to the feel of her soft, tan skin against his, her expressive deep brown eyes, her witty personality and her beautiful smile. Troy was tugged from his thoughts as the said woman turned around with sleepy eyes and a sleepy smile.
"Hi." She smiled shyly with a small, tired giggle.
"Good morning," He responded with a smile, "Sleep good?" He questioned, reaching out to push her wild hair back before it could fall on to her face.
She nodded, tugging on the sheet to ensure she was covered, "Yeah but not much of it."
Troy agreed with a nod, "Me too, I forgot to shut the blinds." He shuffled closer to her while his left hand made its way under the sheets to find her naked body. Grasping her waist softly he brought her a little closer.
Gabriella suddenly felt her lips and mouth go dry and small bumps to rise on her skin, "It's ok." She whispered, her eyes now skipping between gazing into his blue eyes and his smooth lips.
"Last night." Troy grinned, shaking his head momentarily while he watched her grin back at him and shuffle even closer.
Gabriella re-arranged herself so her hand was tucked under her head as she lay on her side, looking at the handsome man, "Hm?" She questioned while biting the corner of her lip.
Troy mirrored her actions but his arm rested above her head but his own head rested on his bicep. He felt her fingers lightly touching his bare chest making him shiver a little, "It was fun."
Gabriella nodded, "I hoped it would after you begged me to come back with you." She teased, giggling a little at his playful angry facial expression.
Troy narrowed his eyes jokingly at her, "Please, I said a couple of words to you, touched your thigh and you were putty in my hands."
Gabriella laughed a little loudly, "That was not how it went, at all. You were all like, we had fun last night and on the beach and why go back to yours when you can get lots of attention from me at mine and you're so hot." She mocked with a grin on her face.
Troy laughed at her impression of him, "That is not how it went at all." He protested as he slid out of bed, not trying to cover himself as he pulled on a pair of clean boxers.
What he wasn't aware of was the pair of brown eyes scanning his body while biting her lower lip and wondering why this absolutely amazing, gorgeous man had been wanting her for the past two weeks, "Sure it's not." She giggled as he turned around and threw a clean plaid shirt at her head causing her to laugh even more.
Troy smirked at her, "Come on, liar, let's go get picked on and grab breakfast."
Gabriella laughed heartily before sliding the shirt on but she left it unbuttoned from between her breasts upwards. She got out of bed and tugged on a pair of underwear and slid on her shorts craftily so Troy wouldn't get a peak.
Troy walked over to her after she finished, wrapping his arms around her waist, "You look good," He complimented before leaning down and connecting their lips in a kiss.
"Thank you, you do too." She smiled, looking at his outfit of a pair of denim shorts and a simple round-neck white t-shirt.
"Thanks to that shower last night." Troy winked causing Gabriella blush a little, removing herself from his arms and informing him she was going to the bathroom.
While Gabriella was in the bathroom, Troy licked the corner of his lips and debated whether to go out into the kitchen where he knew Chad and possibly another friend would be or wait for Gabriella. He decided to wait and while he did, Gabriella's phone started to ring, Troy glancing over at the screen as it was lay on his bed as he decide to make it, he recognised the name as 'Ben'; his eyes narrowing. He heard Gabriella come back into the room, heard her phone ring and immediately answered it.
"Hey, what's up?" She greeted, "No, I'm at Troy's… Yeah… I don't know… No, Ben… You know why… You have to stop… I know but things have changed… I'm going on a date so I can't… With Troy… Ok, bye."
Troy sat on the bottom of his well-made bed and once Gabriella hung up, he looked up at her, "What did he want?" Troy asked.
Gabriella stepped in between his legs, throwing her phone behind him, "He was wondering where I was because he came round and Poppy said I was out, he asked why I stayed here and then he asked why I never stayed until late morning when we were seeing each other and he asked if he could take me out and he said we had a great thing and then he got pissy when I said I'm going on a date with you." She ranted, playing with his t-shirt, not looking him in the eye in case she didn't like what emotion they were portraying.
"I knew he still had a thing for you." Troy shook his head, sighing.
"I don't care." She told him and then paused, "I have a thing for you, not him." She informed with a small smile.
Troy smiled up at her, wrapping his arms loosely around her hips, "Good because I've fucking excited for our date." He laughed then turned a little serious as his hands now gripped her round hips, "I'm not fighting for another guys girl though, I'm serious." He told her, gazing into her eyes.
Gabriella nodded, "I know and you're not. I'm not interested in anyone else but you, I swear."
Troy nodded, "If Ben doesn't back off then, me and him might have to talk especially if he continues and we start something." He said, fairly hard-faced.
Gabriella smirked as she realised that Troy hadn't noticed what he had just admitted; that he could possibly want a relationship with her in the future, "Ok that's pretty hot." She joked, her hands squeezing his broad shoulders with a smile.
Troy smirked at her and stood up, gesturing for her to follow him into the kitchen but the rest of the apartment was louder than he expected. It was summer therefore he did expect the guys to be around a lot as Troy and Chad were the only ones with a space to themselves so far.
"Yo." Troy greeted, drawing out the 'o' as he passed through the longue area, seeing that Chad had company; Brody, Liam and Zeke.
"Hey man." They greeted and Troy took a seat on the arm chair which was spare and brought Gabriella down to sit comfortably onto his lap.
"Hey Gabs." Brody smiled, noticing the girl who had followed Troy out of his bedroom.
"Still here Gab?" Chad teased, looking away from the television for a second to see her glare playfully at him.
"Yes." She said, letting out a small laugh.
Troy chuckled, kissing her shirt covered shoulder, "Do you want some coffee?" He asked, resting his chin on her shoulder.
Gabriella nodded, "Please." She answered, sweetly, letting Troy slide out from underneath her and head towards the kitchen before she turned to Brody, "Ben rang me this morning." She told him as the other boys played a video game.
Brody frowned, "He did?"
Gabriella nodded, biting the inside of her cheek, "Yeah, he basically asked me out."
"On a date?" He questioned.
"Yeah," She shook her head, "I don't get it. He's seen me out with Troy and we haven't exactly tried to hide anything. Why call me?"
Brody frowned more and shrugged, "Maybe he's realising what he's missing?"
Gabriella shrugged, "But it's obvious I don't see him that way anymore."
"Who's Ben?" Zeke asked as he handed the control to Liam and stood up to sit on the couch next to Brody.
"I used to date him a little." Gabriella informed him, "He seems to think he can pick me up and drop me and I'll go running back to him whenever."
"Does Troy know?" Zeke asked, a little protective over his friend.
Gabriella nodded, smiling at Zeke, "Yeah, we've talked about it a couple of times. He knows I'm not interested in Ben or have any feelings for him."
"But if he continues to call the girl I'm taking on dates, I'll speak to him." Troy said as he walked back into the room and passed Gabriella the cup of coffee.
"Thank you." She answered referring to the coffee, "Dates? As in more than one? Since when?" She smirked.
"Well if the first goes well, you never know," He answered, nudging her head affectionately as he sat on the arm of the chair.
"You two are basically together." Brody commented, shaking his head with a laugh.
"How?" Troy asked, frowning.
"She staying over at your house, you make her coffee, you take her on dates. All that relationship crap." Brody answered.
Troy and Gabriella let out a small laugh before Troy turned to her, "Wanna go on that date today?" He asked, "If you haven't already got plans." He suggested.
"So romantic." Gabriella joked, rolling her eyes before she sipped her coffee.
"Behave." Troy laughed, taking a hold of her chin and lifting it towards his face to angle her lips towards him so he could kiss her quickly which quickly shut her up.
Brody and Zeke made cat-calls and whistled as Troy tried his luck and kissed her again, this time for a little longer, "Guys, we are here!" Zeke exclaimed as he saw Troy's tongue flicker out of his mouth, connecting with Gabriella's.
Troy pulled back but his eyes were directed in Gabriella's direction, his eyes clouding with lust, "Yeah," He muttered to Zeke before he placed his and Gabriella's drinks down and tugged on her hand to get her out of the chair.
As soon as the pair were out of the lounge, Troy's arms wrapped around her waist, kissing her passionately, revelling in the quiet moans Gabriella made when he grabbed her behind or played with her tongue in a certain way. They scrambled into Troy's room, not really knowing where the sudden passion and lust came from but neither ponded it for long. Once again, clothes were briskly shed and their naked bodies fell onto the comfortable mattress before Troy got to work on pleasing Gabriella for the second separate time within twelve hours.

At around noon, the two had peeled themselves away from each other, showered separately, changed and were once again walking out of his bedroom towards the longue although Troy's hands would not let her go as he mumbled against her neck and she laughed at the sensation.
"You two need to get out of this apartment." Chad commented, all the guys and now the girls were there.
Gabriella bit down on her bottom lip, letting Troy keep his arms around her from behind, keeping her snugly against him. Troy chuckled into Gabriella's hair, both of them cuddling into each other, obviously they couldn't get enough.
"Why?" Troy asked, moving his arms to drape over her shoulders but staying behind her.
"Because you're not exactly quiet." Zeke complained, scrunching his face up.
Gabriella blushed, hiding her face into Troy's arm therefore, Troy answered again for the two, "I did try to tell her to be quiet." He joked earning and tight squeeze on his hand. He basically lied, he never once told her to be quiet and when she mumbled or moaned his name, it spurred him on and just made his eyes roll into the back of his eyes.
"No you did not." Gabriella objected quietly, not moving her face though.
Troy chuckled quietly, leaning further down to run the tip of his nose along her cheek, indicating that he wanted a kiss which he got but a very quick one, "We'll be out of your hair soon anyway." Troy answered, standing up straighter but keeping his arms around the girl he couldn't stay away from and one he was insanely attracted too.
"Where are you going?" Sharpay asked, curled up in the chair that once occupied Troy and Gabriella.
"For lunch," Gabriella answered with a smile to Sharpay just before her phone started to ring and she fished it out of her pocket, answering it, "Hey Pop, I'll be out in a second, bye."
"Poppy here?" Troy asked as she turned in his arms, his hands falling to rest on her waist.
"Yeah. I'm just glad she hasn't trashed my car," Gabriella giggled. Gabriella had called Poppy asking her to drive over to Troy's in her car as Poppy didn't have her own and after many times of Gabriella telling her to be careful, she hung up.
Troy chuckled, "Call me when you're ready and I'll come pick you up." He said, leaning down a little.
Gabriella grinned while nodding, wrapping her arms around his neck, meeting his lips in a kiss before he picked her up a little. After a quick goodbye to their friends, she kissed Troy once more before picking up her bag and walking out of the apartment and down to Poppy.
Sharpay smiled at Troy as he sat on the arm of the chair, "You two are so cute, you're so into her." She teased.
Troy grinned while rubbing the back of his neck, nodding a little, "She's just addicting."
"You're so smitten with her," Lucy cooed.
"It's disgusting." Chad grumbled.
Troy laughed at his best friend, "Just because I'm getting sex and you're not." He teased.
"Too much sex." Brody mumbled.
"There's no such thing," Chad laughed, bumping fists with Troy as they sat near each other.
Sharpay shook her head at the male's behaviour, "Are you just hanging out with her for sex?" She asked, frowning.
"No!" Troy exclaimed, "I mean, the sex is fucking incredible. But I'm starting to like the girl, like starting to really like her." He admitted with a soft smile.
Sharpay and Lucy shared a look which had the boys frowning at each other.
"Why are you looking at each other like that?" Chad asked.
"It's so obvious," Lucy said to Chad before looking at Troy. "You like her a lot, don't you?"
Troy ran his tongue across his white teeth, trying to hide a smile but he wasn't successful. He nodded with a smirk, "Yeah, she's a cutie but we've both got to stop fucking about like making each other jealous and that." He told them with a shrug.
"What's going on with the whole Ben situation?" Brody asked after agreeing with Troy.
Troy shrugged again, "Nothing. He tried to ask her out and she said no." He revealed.
Zeke rubbed his large lips together, "I get the impression she's pretty bitter about the way he's treated her."
"And when we went to that bar, he was all over her and she didn't push him away," Chad commented.
Liam nodded in agreement, "Just watch your back," He told his friend, wanting to protect him.
"Guys, Gabriella's not a bad girl. Her and Ben got on really well on a good day but he'd ignore her for days and she'd be so pissed. She decide that she didn't want that and ended everything they were doing." Brody informed them, mainly looking at Troy to gauge his reaction.
Troy nodded, "She told me she was over it and wants to keep seeing me," He said quite defensively over the girl who he felt was getting her name rubbed in dirt for no necessary reason.

Troy and Gabriella were now sitting opposite each other in a booth, both leaning forward with their elbows on the table. They had just ordered their lunch and were now just smiling at each other.
"So I have a question." Troy stated, reaching out to graze her soft forearm with his rougher fingers.
"Yeah?" She questioned, tilting her head to the side curiously.
"Mhm," Troy nibbled his lower lip, anxious about the question he was about to answer, "My friends have slightly mixed opinions about you and Ben,"
"There is no me and Ben," Gabriella said strongly, raising her eyebrows at him before leaning back in her seat, showing that she was a little annoyed that Ben seemed to be affecting the relationship she was trying to build with Troy and with his friends.
"Ok but they do," He slightly dismissed her, "What's going on? I feel like I'm the only one in the dark." He commented, biting the inside of his cheek as his knee began to bounce nervously.
Gabriella licked her bottom lip before leaning back in, "I've been through some shit the past couple of years and he's helped but also made it worse. I know I told you that we ended anything that was going on 6 months ago and we were hooking up for about 6 or 7 months. That wasn't the complete truth," She admitted.
Troy hated people lying to him so he leant back and crossed his arms over his chest, showing her his closed off body language, "Ok?" He questioned, frowning.
"Every time I finished something with someone, I always went back to him even if it was for a night. So actually we had been seeing each other for over a year and then we decided not to sleep with anyone else and then it all went wrong and we ended that thing 6 months ago." She told him, going back to chewing on her lower lip as she waited for him to answer.
"Why didn't you tell me that to begin with?" He asked, his jaw tightening.
Gabriella shrugged, "I thought it might put you off and you'd asking questions."
Troy nodded and stayed quiet while he could see a waitress bring them their food to whom he thanked before replying to Gabriella, "I don't really know what to say but I can't judge a person on their past and I just hope if we ever got into a huge argument or anything similar, you wouldn't jump back into his arms."
Gabriella nodded, "I wouldn't, people don't believe me and I don't know why but I haven't slept with the boy for over 6 months and I've been hooking up with you, not him and I'm planning dates with you and not him."
Troy's eyes connected with hers as he looked up from picking up his knife and fork and he gave her a small smile, "I'm not going to judge you on a situation I don't know, as long as we're cool and we respect each other, I'm fine."
Gabriella's smile widened as she felt so much better after telling him everything that had happened with Ben, not every detail like how he treated her and how he made the good better but the bad worse, "Good." She simply stated.
After a few moments of silence, "Are you going to tell me the bad stuff that's happened in your life the last couple of years?" He asked, gently, showing her he wasn't going to push her.
Gabriella let out a breath and took a moment to think, "I can't tell you everything now but I can tell you one thing at a time," Troy nodded and made a gesture for her to continue, "One of my brothers died nine months ago." She whispered, my eyes moving away from his to look outside at the sunny bustling town.
"Gab," Troy breathed in shock, "I'm so sorry."
Gabriella nodded, taking a breath before reconnecting their eyes, "He was in the army. I just remember getting a phone call from my dad. My family doesn't live around here, they live in Ohio and I was at college here but it really sucked hearing it on the phone. I was walking across campus and my dad told me and I just hung up, it didn't hit me for days. I went out every night for about a week and hooked up with anyone who would be willing but then it hit me and that stopped and I just cried all the time. I couldn't believe my brother had died, you know. I couldn't even go to the funeral." She told him, feeling tears well up in her eyes and she looked away from him, "There was so much snow up there, all the flights were cancelled and of course those higher up in the ranks in the army organised the funeral so it was difficult to change the date so I couldn't get there and the funeral went ahead. I haven't been home since."
Troy watched as the pain and memories washed over her eyes. He leant forward to hold both of her hands and kiss the back of each one, "That's got to be hard." He murmured.
Gabriella nodded, sniffling a little as her eyes once again met his, "Yeah, it hurts still."
Troy nodded, "Of course," His rough thumbs softly moved back and forth across the backs of her hands, their food forgotten about, "Do you have any more family?" He asked.
Gabriella smiled, thankful at the only slight change in conversation, showing he wasn't dismissing what she was saying but also showing he didn't want to further the conversation in a diner, "Yeah. There's me, my dad, my mom and my oldest brother Felix, he's 27 but we're pretty close. Sam was in the army since he was eighteen, he would be 23 now, he died before his birthday."
"Oh gosh, if I ever meet your family, I've got to deal with an older brother and your dad." Troy joked, Gabriella giggled at this which made Troy smile, "What's your mom and dad's name?"
"Maria and David. My dad basically raised the three of us though," She told him with a nod and a wide smile showing Troy that he meant a lot to Gabriella but he got the feeling that she didn't want to go into the story about her mother today.
"He sounds like a good man," Troy smiled softly at her, lacing their fingers together, "He's got to be, he raised you just right."
Gabriella nodded quickly, "He's the best dad ever. He understands why I haven't been home so he comes here a lot but I can tell he'd like it if I visited home, it's just hard."
Troy smiled and felt himself like the girl in front of him the more as she opened up to him and he loved the fact that she trusted him enough to do just that, "Is it difficult to go home because you missed the funeral?" He wondered out loud.
"Yeah, I just.." Gabriella stopped and simply nodded, "Yeah, that among other things."
"Mysterious Gabriella Montez," Troy grinned, lighting the mood gently therefore showing she didn't have to spill all of her secrets and past out to him all at once but via the question he had asked, Troy wanted to show her that he was interested in her life and that she could rely on him and he would be there for her.
"Well I'm hoping for another date." Gabriella giggled making Troy sigh happily that she didn't close up and run away like many girls or boys did in the movies once they had revealed something as large as that.
Troy nodded, "Of course but we haven't finished this one yet. You never know it could be awful." Troy teased.
"Think positively, Troy Bolton," Gabriella softly demanded with a huge grin on her face. Before Troy, Gabriella thought the only thing a man could do was make the good, better and the bad, worse however, since meeting Troy she had come to realise that he could make the bad, good unlike Ben.
Troy chuckled and brought the still warm food back in front of him, picking up the burger and taking a large bite, "When do you go back to school?"
Gabriella rubbed her lips together, popping a fry in her mouth before answering, "End of September. What about you?" She asked.
"Same." He answered.
Gabriella nodded and gave him a cute pout, "I can't believe we only have a month and a half left of summer."
Troy nodded, agreeing with her, "I know, then you're going to be half an hour away from me." This time it was his time to pout but it didn't last long as a laugh came from his mouth but then he leant forward, taking her hand and playing with her delicate fingers, "And closer to Ben." He whispered.
Gabriella didn't get angry with him or frustrated she just gave him a soft smile and shrugged, "You just have to trust me."
"I know." Troy mumbled.
Gabriella took her hand back and folded her arms, "I don't know what I've done to make you not trust me and for your friends to say shit about me." She mumbled.
Troy tilted his head as if to ask why she is being the way she is, "Our friends and they didn't say anything bad about you. As for the trust, I've known you a little over a week, don't expect me to trust you completely straight away." He told her, firmly.
Gabriella shrugged her shoulders, "I've given you no reason not to trust me though," She exclaimed.
"Then just give me time." Troy said, softly, now realising what a fire-cracker this girl was and how unpredictable she is.
Gabriella seemed to soften again, "Ok." She simply stated.
Troy grinned at her reluctant behaviour, "Now get here and kiss me."
The hard facial expression on Gabriella's face slipped slowly off her face to be replaced with a small smile, nonetheless she leaned over the table to kiss the handsome man's lips, "Better?" She teased.
"Much." He grinned, kissing her once more quickly before she sat back down.
Troy knew he was in for a rollercoaster ride with this girl as soon as the drama happened on the 4th of July but to be honest, it kept him on his toes and he was loving every moment with her, whether they were talking about insecurities, revealing things about themselves or just acting as if the world was Troy's bedroom. He was pretty sure that if they continued the way they were, he could most definitely fall in love with her. In Troy's mind, it sounded crazy as he hadn't known her very long but it was the way he felt and he wasn't planning on revealing that information to anyone any time soon. Little did he know, that Gabriella had been thinking the same way since he tried to kiss her on the beach.
"This morning was pretty perfect," Gabriella told him, hesitantly, disconnecting their gaze for a moment.
Troy smiled, it wasn't often she revealed her feelings towards the time they spent together, "Yeah, much better than when you tried to leave early." He teased.
Gabriella giggled and nodded, "Yeah," She agreed just before her phone started to ring.
"You are popular today." Troy joked which earned him a roll of her eyes.
"Is it ok if I take this?" She asked as she glanced at the caller id.
"Sure, go ahead." He relaxed back into the booth as she answered and held the phone up to her ear.
"Hey dad," She greeted, "Just getting lunch, what about you?... sounds nice… with Troy… yes him," She blushed and looked away from Troy at this point which made Troy smirk and chuckle at her, "It's a date," She admitted, "Dad," She laughed, "I think a hotel room is best, I don't think Poppy would like you and Felix staying with us," She laughed again, "Ok, if that's all, can I go?... Yeah, ok, bye, bye." She hung up and connected her eyes with Troy's again before placing the cell phone on the table.
"You're dad?" He questioned, already knowing the answer.
"Mhm," She confirmed, "He's so embarrassing. He's coming to see me in two weeks for a few days. Him and my brother." She informed him, wiggling about in her chair a little.
Troy smiled at her, letting his top teeth graze over his bottom lip, "You seem excited."
Gabriella nodded, "Yeah, it seems weird but I don't see them a lot and I'm not one of them people who dread their family visiting." She laughed.
"That's cute," Troy smiled, loving seeing this family side of Gabriella which oddly turned him on, "Well since we're dressed for a hike, shall we go?"
"Sure."
JFJFJFJFJFJF
"Those fucking shorts." Troy growled quietly, watching a certain part of Gabriella as she walked slightly ahead, excited that they were almost at the top. The small tight shorts she had on were riding up slightly, showing the bottom of her behind. He quickly caught up with her so he wasn't been teased by her body as much.
"You say something?" Gabriella asked.
Troy shook his head, "Nope." He grinned, sweetly but surprised the witty girl in front of him bought his little lie.
"Well, we're nearly here." Gabriella informed in a small pant as they walked up the last bit of the steepest part of the hike.
Troy softly bit down on his bottom lip and nodded, slowing down as they reached the flat surface that was the end of the hike. He looked out at the view, if he looked one way he could see the ocean in the background and if he looked in the complete opposite way, all he could see was an endless bustling city which he loved so much.
"Wow." He breathed quietly.
"It's pretty cool up here, huh?" Gabriella stated, stepping up onto a rock, feeling more free and careless up there.
Troy was facing the other way and he couldn't help but take a minute to think about how cliché this moment was. It was not yet sunset as they wanted to be back before dark but the sun was becoming lower and lower into the sky making a shadow, an almost haze, across the city.
"It's amazing." He mumbled, turning to face Gabriella who was gazing at him which caused both of their smiles to widen. He walked over towards her and stopped in front of her, the rock she was standing on making her a little taller than him.
"Mhm. I love it up here. If I'm stressed I do this hike and when I get here I feel like a weight has been lived off my shoulders." Gabriella told him in a soft voice making her look at her in awe of her.
"I can see why. It's so peaceful." He gushed, resting his large hands on her waist, loving that his hands touched both her waist and her hips when he spread his fingers a little. He smiled at just how small and perfect this girl was.
Gabriella grinned and leant back a little, her arms stretching out and her head tilting back, "I always feel so free." She giggled.
Troy laughed with her, holding her body up with her strong arms. As he promised, he came on this hike shirtless, obviously gaining a few appreciative looks throughout the hike. Some of the times Gabriella noticed this and bit down on her lip while looking over at him, slightly worried he soon wouldn't be interested in her but at these times Troy looked back over at him and gave her a wink so reassure her.
"Understandably," Troy whispered, wrapping his arms fully around her, forcing her to stand normally.
Gabriella's deep brown eyes looked into his light blue eyes and she smiled softly at him. She had never felt more connected to someone than right at this moment, "My mom," She began as her hands tangled into his slightly sweaty hair at the base of his neck, "She is, well, she was a drug addict. She's in jail for a long time, for dealing drugs. Me, my dad and my brothers moved to Ohio along time after she was jailed, things started to get scary." Gabriella informed him in a soft voice.
"Fuck Gab," Troy shook his head, holding onto her body tighter.
Gabriella let out a breath, "I mean I haven't exactly been an angel myself since she was jailed when I was about nine but obviously it was happening years and years before she got locked away. When I was about thirteen things started to get scary and we moved away from everything we hated and loved. I ended losing my virginity at fourteen and tried drugs and alcohol a couple of years later. Looking back, it was so dumb to do those things but…" She trailed off while shaking her head.
"It was your way of coping," Troy filled in but it was a question rather than a statement.
"I guess, yeah." Gabriella gave him a small smile, "You see why many people run away from me?" She joked, referring back to the first time they met.
Troy let out a small chuckle, "No, I don't," He spoke strongly yet softly, "I think you're incredibly brave and strong and that you should be proud of yourself for overcoming everything you've been through."
Gabriella swallowed heavily and simply looked at him, "She's tried to contact me and my brother from jail and every time she does it irritates me and I end up doing stupid stuff like hooking up with Ben or some other guy or getting ridiculously drunk or smoking or getting high. She should of put my off those things. I don't smoke or take drugs now, I stopped doing that when I was seventeen."
Troy nodded and stayed quiet.
"Ben was never there for me in the way I needed when it happened, no one but my family was or Brody. Ben either ignored me or slept with me. I know I shouldn't be saying this to you but if he was just there for me maybe things would have turned out different. The good times he made better were like, when I was at a party I was having a good time and he was fun to be with."
Troy felt a little be uneasy, knowing that if Ben was there for Gabriella in the way a man should be when their girl's drug-dealing mother contact her, the two would more than likely be a couple. She subtly admitted that a few moments earlier.
"But I'm so glad now, that he was that way with me because if he was, I would have never of met you or flirted with you or done things with you or been on a date with you. I'm very thankful for that." Gabriella smiled softly, unsure if she had scared him off a little bit.
Troy's face broke into a smile, "I'm so glad he didn't realise how amazing you are before I got to take you out on a date."
Gabriella let out a breath she didn't realise she was holding while waiting for Troy to reply, "I'm sorry that I just laid all that onto you. It's been on my mind since the day you told me about Olivia, I didn't want to go too long without telling you, it's not fair."
Troy nodded, "I'm so happy you've told me- I mean glad, not happy but what you've been through is not happy and-"
Gabriella softly but quickly pressed her lips to his to silence his worries. They both relaxed into each other's arms as their lips softly slid over the others plumpness. As a few people passed them, they couldn't help but smile at the two kissing with such a lovely background behind them. They had all thought that the kissing pair had been together for a while as they seemed so comfortable and relaxed with each other.
Gabriella was the first to pull away, "Thank you for not leaving."
Troy smiled, pressed his forehead to hers, "I would never. You're the most amazing girl I've ever met and so perfect. I would have never thought you're life has been so tough. I don't know how anyone could hurt you that way. You're just so perfect." He told her with a husky tone.
Gabriella couldn't help but shiver at him tone, "I'm not."
"You're are." He said firmly, "You so are. I'm so proud of you for being the person you are today and I'm so thankful for your dad and brothers for helping shape the person you are. I'm gutted I can't tell one of them that face-to-face." Troy told her. The feelings he had for her in that moment were so strong and jumbled together that he couldn't make sense of them. He just felt so proud but amazed she had been through that and no doubt more as she hadn't yet explained the scars on her body. He was amazed. That's all he could make sense of. Amazed due to her, her past, her bravery, her family, the heartbreak she had been through, how much she had overcome to become the strong, all-together woman she was and amazed that she could open up to him.
For the first time they were up there, Gabriella let tears come to her eyes, "Me too." She painfully uttered.
Troy pulled her into a hug, kissing the side of her head as she relaxed into him, her arms wrapping tightly around his naked upper half, "You're perfect in every way possible. You have no idea how much I like you right now." He felt her smile against his neck as she stepped down from the rock to join him on the flat surface.
Gabriella lifted her head from him neck, her eyes now dry, "I had no idea that I could have so many feelings for someone so quick."
Troy agreed with a big smile and he brought her in for another kiss but this one was much shorter, "Are you ready to head back?" He asked.
"Yeah." She grinned, gripping him hand as they began their decent. Both happier than they have ever been even after Gabriella had opened up so much of her minutes before.

It was around midnight as Troy pulled his naked body from the warm confides of his bed that held a beautiful brunette who was in a very deep sleep. He couldn't sleep and didn't want to wake up by tossing and turning so he pulled on some joggers and made his way quietly out of his room. Frowning as he heard, yet again, more than just Chad in the living area.
"Hey." Troy greeted in a mumble and sat in the spare chair, noting that Brody, Chad, Zeke and Liam were all relaxed on the long couch, playing video games.
"Why are you out here?" Chad asked, pausing the game to look over at his best friend.
"Couldn't sleep."
The four guys shared a concerned look as they knew that Troy had returned with Gabriella at around nine o'clock and after a glass of wine, the two made their way towards Troy's room, laughing and kissing.
"Gabriella still here?" Liam asked.
"Yeah." Troy nodded, staring off into the distance before looking towards Brody, "She told me about her past, not everything I'm sure but a lot."
Brody raised his eyebrows, surprised Gabriella had told Troy after knowing him for such a short amount of time but he could tell the two were growing closer and closer and their feelings were developing quickly and strongly for one another, "Serious?"
"Yeah. How do I make it better for her?" Troy asked, frowning at his friend, "She's been through so much. I'm just me, I can't give her anything and everything. She deserves it though."
Troy's friends had never seen him so desperate and strained and they were all a little worried for him even though only one of them knew what he was talking about.
"What makes you think she isn't ok? That you just being there for her isn't enough? If she wants you, don't force her away because you think she deserves more." Brody advised.
Troy nodded, "I just want her to have the best life possible from now on." He admitted.
Brody nodded, "I know, man. Just be there for her when she needs you. When she has a bad day, it's pretty bad but just be there and I think you'll both be fine."
"I hope so."
"Troy?" A small voice came from the door way.
Troy and the four other guys looked towards the entryway and saw a nervous looking Gabriella covered in Troy's t-shirt and shorts.
"I'll be in, in a minute." Troy told her, giving her a soft smile.
Gabriella nodded and turned back to make her way into Troy's room and cuddle under the covers to wait for the man just minutes before, she thought had left in the same way she did.
"Dude, I can't believe you fucked her after she told you that stuff." Brody quietly exclaimed.
Troy chuckled a little, "We both wanted it. Who am I to deny her something she wants when I want it as well."
Chad laughed at his best friend, shaking his head, "Man, you are getting so much sex."
Troy smiled but didn't answer, "Anyway Brod, after I told her about Olivia we had sex, it's our thing." He chuckled. It was true, when they both felt they had admitted something extremely personally, they felt the need to be as close as they could to one another, meaning sex, "I'm going back to my girl. Night guys. Thanks for the small bit of advice, man." He told Brody and patted his shoulder as he made his way back to his room and in true male fashion he received a few wolf whistles.
"Troy?" Gabriella questioned again.
"Yeah, it's me." He said, softly as he climbed into bed with her.
Gabriella immediately cuddled into his side, "I thought you left." She admitted in a whisper. When she was alone she had a chance to realise how much she had told him today and she cussed herself as she had promised herself to only tell him small parts every now and again to try to save him for been shocked and leaving her.
Troy's eyes widened as he remembered he saying on the day they met, if she told a guy even a small part of her story, they left, "I am so sorry, baby. I never meant for you to think that way. I couldn't sleep so I went to chat with the guys so I didn't wake you. I'm so sorry. I'd never leave you after what you told me today." He told her in a firm and soft voice trying to ensure that she knew he really did want to continue to see her, "We have to plan our next date yet."
Gabriella giggled and cuddled more into Troy as he tucked his arm around her body, pulling her close to make her feel safe and protected, "Goodnight."
Troy smiled at the sound of her giggle and closed his eyes, "Night my little solider."
