"So who's joining us?" Tony said, grabbing his jacket looking at Loki, closing hours are here and Tony is ready to get out of here.

"Ah, it will be Bruce Banner from HR, Clint Barton from Sec., and Thor Odinson from Media." Loki responded, flipping through his clipboard.

"Give me this." Tony snatched the clipboard out of Loki's hand and tossed it on his desk where it landed on some documents with a flutter.

"We're going to drink, not to a meeting, so no 'tight and business' attitude."

"What will be the attire?" Loki said professionally, not perturbed by Tony not one bit, simply crossing his arms.

"It's Friday, whatever the hell you want. Once again, we are going to a sportsbar, not a fancy-ass gala."

"Which reminds me, you are to attend the New Year Stark Industries Charity Gala."

Tony paused for a moment, then furrowed his brow.

"Wait, we have our first preview of Stark Expo around that time." Tony knew that one specific date because that meant crunch time for his Department.

"Someone contacted a few people, who contacted Coulson, who contacted Fury, who...finally contacted Obadiah-"?

"Get to the point, Leery-"?

"-Stark." Loki responded, cutting his boss off.

"...Tony, Tony, Tony. I told you stop calling me Stark."

"And I tell you daily to either call me by my name, my actual name, mind you, and not maid, butler, or any of those infinitesimal ridiculous names you jest me about."

" Whatever." Tony scoffed, he would do anything he felt like doing at anytime.

"Very well Mr. Stark." Loki smiled coyly, as he held the door for Tony, who is shorter than him, as he stormed out of his own office like a child.

Loki wanted to laugh, but settled for smirking at his boss as they rode down the elevator together. His boss was quite amusing after all.

"As I was saying, someone got them to move the date." Loki continued, smirking.

"What're you smirking about?" Tony snapped loosening his tie looking at the taller man, who seemed to be smirking at him again as if he was a child.

"Nothing... I find it amusing how a thirty seven year old man can be so... Childish."

"Ha ha ha. So funny, rich, and what are you, twenty-three, four maybe, pointing out age like as if you don't work UNDER me. Sorry to burst your superior persona, but you do." Tony said with a sarcastic laugh and an irritated tone.

"Ooh, someone's quite bitter. I thought this was all fun jesting. Actually I am twenty-eight, so I thank you for your flattery." Loki smiled, and that was the first time Tony saw him smile.

"You're getting a kick out of this aren't you? I'll be getting a kick out of something very soon…" Tony grimaced, quietly whispering the last part.

"In fact, I am. And what did you-" A cell phone began to ring and Loki answered, suddenly business-like.

"Greetings this is- oh Hello Mr. Banner...yes we will be there shortly. Arriving at the car as I speak...yes indeed it is quite a nice car... Ha, well I suppose so... See you shortly...goodbye."

"Do you ever turn off the formal stick up your ass?" Loki's eyebrow rose at his boss, but should have known a statement of the sort would come from him.

"I don't follow."

"Do you ever turn off that facade of being proper? Oh wait, don't tell me that's the real you? When do you actually have fun?" Loki was snarling in the inside as Tony's blunt words, because putting up facades was what he was best at.

"Haha, this is not a facade, Mr. Stark, there are simply times when one has to be mature in situations. I do know how to have fun, at the right time."

"Hmph, whatever."

The two continued to squabble and argue all the way to the bar, as it seemed that that was the only thing they had in common. They soon met with Thor, Clint, and Bruce at the table.

"Loki, so glad to see that you've come to join us as well!" Thor said as he raised his glass to the air in greetings as Loki shook hands with Tony's co-workers from SI.

"Hey Tony, Loki. Thanks for getting us together. We actually do need a break every now and then." Bruce said shaking hands with the both of them. Clint kept to himself, but shook hands with them out of politeness.

"That's your real name?" Tony said to Loki, who rolled his eyes in annoyance. They all sat down on the stools in front of the bar.

"So what will you two gentlemen have today?" The waitress walks over to Tony and Loki.

"I'll have the Adios Motherfucker, and he'll have-"

"I would like a Rum and Coke please." Loki cut Tony off for about to order for him, to which Tony looked at him a little stunned. Once the waitress left, Clint burst out in laughter to the look on Tony's face.

"Oh god, that was the funniest face I've seen from Tony since last year's Christmas Party!" Clint said.

"Why, what happened at last years-" Like asked before Tony cut him off.

"Nothing, and don't you dare say otherwise, Barton..." Tony used his last name for a more threatening affect, which didn't affect Clint at all.

Bruce was drinking from a lager beer pint laughing, recalling the memory.

"I guess it is best not said, at least until another time." Thor said glancing and smiling at Loki before talking back to the rest of the group.

Soon their drinks arrived and Tony and Loki were surprisingly enjoying each other's presence, or perhaps it was a mere facade they put up.

"How is everyone holding up? Especially you Tony, I hear your Department is really getting a handful." Bruce said as he finished his beer and asked for another.

"Oh Brucie, you know I'd be the first one in your office if I couldn't handle it." The others laughed and discussed various things other than their jobs.

"So how's that archery thing you're doing going for you, Clint?" Tony said, his words starting to stumble.

"Great. Better than being locked in a room all day on the computer." Clint said, taking a small jab at Tony.

"Well, I'm sure the aerobics are going well too? Dressing up like a ballerina must feel great."

"Shut up, Tony". The group burst into laughter once again.

As the four continued to drink and get more intoxicated their personalities seemed to change. Clint was so much more at ease here off duty than he was in the workplace. Thor was as bright and loud as usual. Bruce was at times extremely vibrant then suddenly went silent and super calm as if he was two different people. Tony started to slur his words, but his mind was clear, but ultimately continued his mission to get Loki as drunk as possible. Loki was having fun, forgetting as he was slipping out of his facade the more he drank, and was so under the table than he thought he would ever go to.

"Ohh shit. Are you ready for this?" Tony said as the waitress set down four shot glasses of whiskey aflame.

"One, two, three!"

All of them downed their shot as fast as they could and set the shot glasses upside down, however Thor did his a bit too hard, his shattering it as he yelled "Another!" Which sent the others howling.

Loki laughed but felt off, and out of control, which he was since he was thoroughly drunk under the persuasion of Tony, and Clint.

Thor looked at him worriedly as he saw Loki turning into something he had not seen in such a long time.

"I haven't seen you like this since ever, brother."

"Mh."

"Brother?" Tony questioned with wide open eyes.

"Ah, you know how Thor likes to talk, I'm sure we're all brothers here." Bruce laughed as he smacked Tony on the shoulder.

"No, no, Thor and I are actually brothers..." Loki said as he looked disdainfully as his glass. Tony did a spit take out of shock while Clint began to choke on his drink, Bruce sat there with his arms slumped and raised brow.

Tight-ass Loki is related to the brick wall that is Thor? Size difference aside, that's crazy. Tony thought to himself as he wiped his mouth and chin.

"Well uh... How'd that happen?" Tony bluntly asked, Bruce gives him a unhappy nudge.

"I'm adopted, so we are not actually related."

"Oh, Loki, you know that doesn't matter and you will always be a real brother to me." Thor said with concern in his voice.

"That may be true to you, but not to father, or just about anyone else."

"You know father does not play favorites." Thor said, an angry sound comes out of Loki mouth.

"Says the one most spoiled and is currently the head of his own department." Loki slams his glass against the table, not in a threatening way, but in a 'I don't want to hear this bullshit anymore' way.

"How about some more drinks, huh!? Hey waiter-" Bruce tries to intervene, but Thor cuts him off as he calmly levels with Loki. A one sided dispute starts as Loki argues loudly while Thor tries to reason. Tony and Clint watch awkwardly, Loki seemed more vicious when he is drunk, while it surprises them that Thor is the one trying to calm things down instead of flip tables or something.

"Uh, I should go. Family problems aren't my thing..." Clint hushes as the two step-siblings continue in their own world.

"You can't just go... Hey, wait! We're supposed to split a cab!" Bruce tries to stop Clint, but he was already at the door before Bruce could finish trying. Bruce turns over to Tony.

"Look, I'm sorry to leave it to you, but can you stop them? I'll leave my part of the bill here." Bruce gives Tony an apologetic look as he leaves a few bills on the table and runs out. Tony continues to watch with an unbroken glance. If everyone else gets to butt out why should he be the one to break it up?

"Just go! Just leave me the fuck alone like you normally do!" Loki shouts, Thor opens his mouth to say something, but instead gives a hesitant grunt and sighs. Without a word, he leaves the bar with a depressing look on his face. Loki sits back down, hiding his face in his hands. Tony wanted to say something, but didn't feel like anything he would say would make Loki feel better. Or good at all.

Tony clears his throat, " So...uh, I know how ya feel."

Loki viciously turned to him. "Pray tell, how can you possibly relate?"

Tony looked at him, "The favorite sibling thing. I mean I never had a sibling but, look, I was never a favorite. I tried to be, but I wasn't. I was never Howard's favorite, and I was all he had."

"Who's Howard?" Loki asked, his memorization not exactly on par.

"Howard Stark, my father."

Somehow that made Loki feel a bit better. He looked down at his glass with a grimace look, having to force Tony to look back at his life just to feel slightly better about his problems.

"Are you finished with your drink?" Loki asks, giving Tony a side glance.

"Yeah." Tony shakes his glass, only small ice cubes remain.

"Let us leave, closing hours are approaching."

Tony takes a looks at his watch, realizing its almost midnight.

"Damn, you're actually right." Both men stand up, leaving their share of money on the bar. Loki stumbles ever so slightly, as Tony starts to walk as if he just got out of an car accident. Loki finds it funny, but offers his shoulder to help him to the car.

"I guess we are to go to your place first as it is the nearest and then...?" Loki sits down in the passenger seat after sitting Tony in the drivers seat, realizing Tony had already fallen asleep.

"Just like before."

And with that notion he let JARVIS "drive" them home.
