Chapter 7: Galactic Introductions
There had to be millions of them, no billions of people living here. Ahsoka was left dumfounded as she pressed her hands against the glass of the shuttle, staring out across the massive superstructure of the Citadel. Its five massive arms were lit up like the Nar Shadar skyline each tiny dot out of billions representing one single person. She watched as the colossal space station slowly rotated against the inky blackness of space, the great circle binding the entire station together slowly shifting against the purple glow of the nebula . The young alien girl had seen some impressive space bourn constructs in her day, titanic warships, gigantic ship yards and even the separatist Malevolence and its deadly ion cannon. But this… this was like a Corasant in space!
Shepard could only chuckle at the wide eyed expression of their passenger as he sat across from her on one side of the shuttles cramped row of seats. It was nice to see her happy after all the suspicious looks she had giving after he and Mordin had tried to coax her off the ship. Still considering how no one involved could understand each other it was pretty impressive.
With his hands together Shepard brow furrowed as he turned to face Garrus. The Turian shifted slightly as he caught the commander's gaze and stared back only to look the floor, almost embarrassed.
"Shepard" he began but stopped as the words got caught in his throat
"Don't worry Garrus we'll find Sidonis"
Garrus did not reply he only nodded rolling his eyes up to give Shepard what could only be considered a sinister glare. The Turian reached over and garbed his Mantis rifle from the seat next to him and slowly and deliberately loaded a fresh thermal clip into the casing causing a hiss to vibrate throughout the cramped interior.
As the hiss of the weapon died down Shepard caught Tali poking him in the side, the purple clad alien glancing at Garrus as she did. She spoke barely above a whisper as not to attract the Turians attention, looking back and forth between the two.
"Shepard are you sure Garrus is alright"?
Shepard at this glanced at his friend who had become too preoccupied with his rifle to hear them.
"Honestly Tali I don't know" he admitted as he gave Garrus another glance, "but let's handle one thing at a time"
Tali at this looked over to Ahsoka who was now staring at the thousands of sky cars that were surrounding them as they approached the Presidium. The Torgrutas green eyes were almost bulging at the sheer amount of people that were living on this space station. Her white and blue horns swished as she quickly snapped her head to a bright glass dome that seemed to stand out against the other bright lights. And then it was gone, as they zoomed by it at speeds comparable to the fastest of any fighter in the Republic navy.
"This place is amazing" Ahsoka muttered quietly to herself, taking her hand off the glace as she took in all of what she had just seen. But then looked up as crackle of an intercom kicked in.
"Attention passengers" said a flanging voice "I would like to inform you that we will be approaching the Citadel tower in two minutes, the Council has been informed of your arrival"
"Thank you" Shepard said out loud to the C-Sec pilot, before turning to Tali and Garrus both of whom both nodded in acknowledgement, Garrus more slowly than the Quarian.
Ahsoka however scowled as she tried to work out what they had just said. It was getting frustrating for her as she had no idea of what in the galaxy they were on about , even with the force and as a result it made it difficult for her to read their intentions. There was only so much a Jedi could go on from their powers and as past experiences had proven to her it wasn't always reliable. But once they moved towards the large ring shaped super structure that bound the five arms of the space station together she made out through the window a large gleaming white tower that stretched across the radius of the great hoop.
As they approached the tower Ahsoka noticed how the traffic around them peeled off and sped away from it heading to enormous holes in the stations circular silvery superstructure.
However as they drew nearer Ahsoka saw themselves heading straight towards the tower that was rooted to the circle frame that held the station together. The Torgruta looked back at Shepard and his team mates wondering if they had any answers for her, Tali of course looked up and her face plate flashed as she said something illegible, only for Ahsoka to raise one of her white eyebrow markings. Shepard chuckled again and just laid back in his stiff seat causing Ahsoka to stare at the tower again as they got closer and closer.
It was really getting quite close now.
However while she thought this Ahsoka was blinded as a sudden bright light appeared on the side of the tower, little more than a crack at first as it peeled away and slowly rose up opening into a full blown passage, big enough for their shuttle to fly snugly through.
As the ship flew in Ahsoka felt a slight shudder as they passed through a blue shield before experiencing a sudden jolt as the ship began to descend. As it landed the viewport went dark and obscured her view of what was going on outside. This caught Ahsoka's attention and she glanced over to Shepard, who had gotten out of his seat along with Tali and was now heading toward the door which was opening with a loud hiss of decompression. As he did the Commander looked back at Ahsoka who was now trying to read what was going on, to her this smelt like a trap. And considering that the Empire was still hunting for her, she wasn't sure if the human and his crew were selling her out or… doing something else. Shepard however only waved for her to follow and didn't waste time trying to converse to her what was happening, it wasn't like she could read minds he thought.
The Torgruta cautiously got up however still annoyed by the fact that this… Commander was it, somehow could block her attempt to read him through the force. Her readings of Tali and Garrus were fine, and they didn't raise anything to make her suspicious, but then again they could be hiding their emotions, but Shepard… he was a mystery. Still she followed him, hearing the avian like creature approaching her from behind. As she descended the ramp saw around twelve individuals marching across the clean, white, and surprisingly empty flight deck towards them. Five of the guards were like the alien who now was walking past her. There were also a smattering of humans and three blue female like aliens and one of the species from that individual who had patched her up in the medical ward back on the Commanders ship.
However what caught Ahsoka's attention was that they were all armed.
She broke into a combat crouch as one of the avian aliens broke from the crowd and headed to Shepard, he had a more yellowish complexion to his carapace than Garrus's who was more a silver grey. Still he nodded at Shepard as his mandibles fluttered in what was probably a greeting, giving Ahsoka only a momentary glance.
"Commander Shepard" he said as he raised his hand, before looking past him, "And Garrus Vakarian" he said his green eyes going wide in surprise.
"Chelick" Garrus said in surprise as Shepard shook the C-Sec agents hand, "I wasn't expecting to see you again"
Chelick mandibles raised slightly at this his tone a little more firm.
"Neither was I" he stated, "Then again it's not a surprise to find you with Shepard" the Turian giving the Commander a nasty look
Garrus glanced over at Shepard with the Human returning the look apprehensively.
"Either way we have a meeting to get to" Shepard stated motioning to the Orange skinned alien accompanying them, "this is Ahsoka Tano... apart from that we don't know much else"
Upon hearing her name Ahsoka gave a small bow to the Turian who was obviously in charge, using the force he could tell he was a man of one track thought. And by the way he was staring her up and down he was obviously sizing her up.
"What are those" Chelik asked pointing at two cylinders at Ahsoka's waist, his eyes narrowing.
"Not sure" Shepard admitted at he saw Ahsoka take a step back, "we found them with her so we let her keep them"
Chelik however gave a growl obviously debating over the next course of action, but stepped back as he did.
"Shepard I must ask you, your team and your guest to surrender any weapons you may be carrying" he stated waving his hand as an Asari approached them with a box, "you must understand we can't allow… 'You' this close to the council armed"
Shepard knew what he meant knowing full well that a 'Cerberus agent', no matter how much he denied it, would ever be allowed into the presence of the entire Citadel Council without being disarmed. Slowly the commander upholstered his own personal arsenal, depositing the folded up Grenade launcher, Phalanx hand canon, Shuriken pistol and his newly manufactured Geth Pulse rifle into the box. As he placed that last one he caught the Asari eyes bulge upon seeing the synthetic weapon, with her quickly glancing up at the commander as he turned back to Chelik.
"Happy" Shepard asked bluntly
Chelik pointed past him to Tali and Garrus as well as to Ahsoka and her silver cylinders, causing Tali to cross her arms and lean back slightly in a relaxed pose.
"You go ahead Shepard will meet you down in Zerka ward" Tali stated, earning a quick snort from Garrus, "and be quick" she said as she and the Turian walked past the guards towards what was probably an Air taxi terminal.
Shepard nodded as they passed and then turned back to the Turian security officer, his expression clearly a little exasperated.
"Are we done"?
Chelik however pointed again at Ahsoka and her belt causing Ahsoka to glare at him, obviously not liking the way he kept jarring one of his two long talons at her.
"I am sorry Shepard but whatever they are, they have to go in the box" he stated causing the Asari to rattle the box expectantly at Ahsoka.
It didn't take the Torgruta long to guess what the holdup was about as she glanced down into the myriad of guns. She wasn't sure if they were trying to catch her off guard and jump her, or were generally asking her to be disarmed. Then again the force told her that this alien had no idea what her Lightsabre were, so maybe… this wasn't a trap. With both hands Ahsoka slowly grasped both of the twin cylinders and unfastened them, cushosley dropping them gently in the box, giving the Asari a look as if to say I will want those back. She then turned to the Turian and Human commander and tilted her head her expression not amused.
"We can go" Chelik said, as he straightened up motioning across the flight deck towards the door.
In the great expanse of the universe there are many men from all walks of life, there were some rich, some poor, some proud, some honourable, some cruel and many unscrupulous. Hando Ohnaka held many of these titles and more, a kidnapper, a smuggler, a hero and a wanted man. He was a lot of things, but right now he was a pirate and he and his remaining crew were bearing down on a rather tasty looking cargo ship, that according to their instruments was smack bang in the middle of nowhere.
Hando was blessing his luck today, they had to pull out of Hyperspace just a moment ago due to some space weather and low and behold a tasty, fat and rather bulky looking cargo freighter was hovering just in front on them.
The Weequay smiled, his crinkled brown lips curling as he imagined what lay aboard the ship.
"So" he asked, "who is the refined gentlemen we are addressing today" he asked out loud to his bridge crew who were busily tapping into computer instruments ranging from propulsions systems, life support and weaponry.
A green alien approached him with a data slate and handed it to the captain, who from behind his swoop goggles stared down at what was a in detailed readout of the ship.
"Not sure boss, no markings, at least none we can make out" the alien said, "a few mounted weapon emplacements on the top and bottom but don't look like anything bad, picking up some weird gravimetric distortions and very little armour… probably a smuggler" he added as he turned back to the view screen.
Upon hearing this Hando clapped his hands together
"Well then we must relive these criminal of their ill-gotten goods" he exclaimed earning him a series of sadistic grins from his crew, "Jiro, Goru" he snapped pointing at two of his fellow Weequay crew, "bring some men down to the air lock, I would like to relive them in person"
"Kav we have a problem" a Vorcha said from his command seat on the ships rather cramped bridge.
"What is it Wretch" a massive Krogan asked leering over tiny goblin like alien as he read the tactical readout.
"Ship… it came nowhere and then here" he growled in his peoples disjointed speech paten
The Large Krogan growled as he saw what look like a giant flying saucer slowly moving towards them both on the tactical readout and through his ships bridge based viewport.
"Tell em to back off" Kav ordered as he gripped the back of the Vorcha's chair causing it to buckle.
"Tried… no talk" Wretch answered his pasty skin growing white as he saw the distant light of wepons fire.
A second later the whole room shifted as the small vessel was hit by a massive blast knocking many crewmembers off their feet and defiantly startling the Vorcha.
"Get a grip" Kav growled as he grabbed Wretch from where he had fallen forcing him back into his seat, "Return fire" he yelled thrusting his finger at the flying saucer.
Hando fell forward grabbing hold of a nearby safety rail to steady himself as he was caught off guard by the sudden quake that rocked his ship. Straightening himself up the Weequay was surprise that the smugglers had fired at them rather than try and run, maybe this wasn't going to be as easy as he thought. Drawing his pistol he turned to what was almost two dozen men standing behind him, mostly all Weequay like him but with a single human and two Twi'Lek's at the back.
"Well lads today is pay day… let us turn a profit"!
With that he turned to the airlock waiting for them to storm the enemy ship and slaughter the crew… they were pirates after all.
Reaching out with the force Ahsoka could feel everything that was going on in the room they were about to enter. After standing in front of a door for the better part of three minutes the Torgruta could tell that the five or so people were furiously discussing about a variety of issues. She could not tell what they were on about exactly but by how tense everyone was feeling it had to be quite a serious issue. Then again Ahsoka felt that was an understatement.
However when a one of the tall horned amphibious aliens came through the door and gave her and Shepard a bow she noticed the feelings in the other room where nowhere near as active but still just as tense.
Shepard said something to the alien, Ahsoka gauging the aliens nod as the fact that Shepard was greeting him or at least acknowledging the alien presence. Personaly AHsoka was getting fed up of this language barrier, could no one seriously speak basic!
"Thank you for coming commander" the Salarian said giving Shepard a nod before turning to the orange skinned and white horned alien girl with a smile.
"And this must be Ahsoka Tano" he beamed "I must say the information Shepard forwarded the council on you does not do you justice"
Ahsoka squirmed slightly under the Salarian's gaze, somehow guessing the intentions behind smarmy tone. Shepard guessed he was one of the many bureaucratic suck us that the council employed, useful for handling day to day political problems but completely ignorant in all other matters.
"You do now she doesn't understand us" Shepard said raising the issue with the Salarian.
"Of course, of course" the Salarian blabbered, backing away "I was just being friendly"
Of course you where Shepard thought to himself as he smiled back at the Salarian
"May we go in" the Commander now asked who wished to get Ahsoka into the room with the council before she started hitting someone. Seriously she kept giving everyone dirty looks like she thought they were about to jump her, then again an angry scowl could just be a normal expression from her culture.
The Salarian however just smiled and waved at the door causing it to part slowly as its many segments separated into different parts.
"The council will see you now" he said with a flamboyant air, stepping back as he did, allowing them free acess to the room that lay beyond.
Said room was quite large, spacious and brightly lit. It many white panels along the walls reflecting the light and creating an almost dazzling display around the equally white and polished table that dominated the centre. Around the tables far end sat four individuals, A black carapaced Turian in military attire with white facial markings, a blue beautiful if stern Asari in a red white dress, a rather pale grey Salarian in a black hooded robe and Councillor Anderson. All four of the councillors Sparatus, Tevos , Valern and Anderson all nodded their heads as the Commander and his guest entered the room.
"Ah Commander we were just talking about you" Valern said in his rushed but focused way
"Thank you councillors" Shepard replied even if he knew it could have been nothing good, "Either way I would like to introduce in person Ahsoka Tano"
Waving a hand to Ahsoka the Torgruta bowed guessing that she was in the presence of a group of people of great importance, or at least someone who worked for them. Either way the council all rose to their feet, some more slowly than others as they stared down at Ahsoka, their gazes unnerving her.
"Greetings Ahsoka Tano" the Blue alien woman said, "I am Councillor Tevos of the Citadel council and on behalf of the people we represent we thank you for coming to see us today"
"Especially so soon after your ordeal" Anderson added causing Sparatus to shoot him a brief but blood curdling glare.
Ahsoka bowed again spacing her arms apart in recognition for what was obviously a greeting, but none the less kept all four of them firmly in her sight. At the same time she tried to gauge what they were saying but whoever they were they guarded their minds just as well as they were guarding their words, at least that's what she thought.
"Thank you" Ahsoka replied knowing full well that they would not understand her, still by the fact they were all now sitting back down she guess they go the message.
Tevos of course motioned to two chairs directly in front of Shepard and Ahsoka, waving her hand only slightly as if to minimise her effort. Ahsoka of course did not waste any time and sat down in the glowing white chair, noting its rather ornate and curved design. Shepard however did not.
"I am sorry Councillors but I have pressing business that I must attend to… my investigation you understand"
Spartas gave a snort at this, laying back further in his chair to demonstrate his contempt for the human Commander. However the other councillors simple nodded with Valern giving him a wave for him to go.
"Thank you commander we hope to see you again shortly"
"Our pleasure commander" Anderson added with a warm smile
At this Shepard turned to go causing Ahsoka to spin around in her chair worried about what was going to happen. She tried to again gauge what he was doing but once again finding the force could not break through whatever it was that was surrounding him. Either way he gave her a smile from other his shoulder as he exited the room which did nothing to placate her nerves.
And now she faced a group of strange aliens, each one staring intently at her waiting to see who would make the first move.
The pirates boarding action had been as expected, with the smugglers few weapons and Hando's much larger warship shrugging off anything thrown their way. The Weequay had found it easy to get within range and board the vessel but from then on it was anything from normal. Hando had considered craft that the crew would be no easy fight. They had been outmanned and outgunned, yet had not run and had fired back despite the obvious futility of their actions, so unless they had a trick up their sleeve (which was unlikely considering how deep they were in space) they were most likely going to fight to the death.
His hunch was sadly not disappointed, upon breaching the ships air lock his men had been met by wave upon wave of horrid goblin like creatures with pasty vein covered skin, bulbous eyes and needle like teeth, they looked like savages. And considering the way they dressed most having little more than a loin cloth and a few in trousers he probably wasn't far off.
Despite this he and his men had made steady progress through the hoard forcing the large number of aliens further and further into their ship. They weren't smart thank the universe with them simple running at his men who in the funnelled corridor easily gunned down these strange and beastly aliens.
The aliens however were still taking their toll, his pirate crews blasters tore through their exposed flesh like a hot knife through butter but the aliens in some mad range simple ignored it firing back with projectile weapons. A rare find in today's galaxy. Hando was surprised as he saw one of his men's torsos vaporise when he took a full blown burst to the chest, showing that while the weapons may be considered primitive they still packed a mean punch.
Looking down at another one of his wounded men as he tried to hold his guts in his stomach the pirate captain considered he might have bitten off more than they could chew. Either way it would not do his reputation any good to run away, but after all they were pirates. Plus if they were fighting this fanatically they had to have some good loot. Shooting one of the creatures through the gut with three well placed shots he saw it fall to the ground dead and proceeded to step over its corpse.
However as Hando's men forced the crew further and further back the entire gangs of alien goblins eventually petered out and fell to almost nothing causing some of the Weequay to rush ahead egger to get first pick of the loot. Advancing with caution they entered into a large room filled with creates and boxes stacked straight up to the cleaning, it was like the rest of the ship lit up a blood red from the warning lights and was near pitch black.
As they entered the cargo bay however the pirate captain and his entourage heard a scream as one of his men who had rushed ahead was thrown straight at them. Diving Hando ducked out of the way rolling into a crouch as he quickly looked right back at the culprit.
Standing at eight feet tall and hefting an impressive bulk was a gigantic alien of such size and weight Hando swore it could have easily arm wrestled a Wookie and probably would have won. His bright red armour adored with painted white skulls was almost as intimidating as the fact the monster held one of Hando's men one handed by the head.
Staring down at Hando and his men the creature under a thick brow plate had a look of complete contempt for the pirates. Moving its eyes back to captured pirate, it gave a throaty laugh and closed its two fingered hand around the skull making it break apart like a lemon. With the monstrous alien just as quickly pulling a large grey gun out of nowhere, that looked more like a small cannon than a conventional weapon.
"Well" the pirate captain said as he rose to his feet and dusted himself down "I must admit I was not expecting this today… still" he waved his hand pointing it straight at the brute.
His men almost instantly raised their weapons with a high pitched hum as their gas cartridges were primed ready to fire. In turn behind the massive alien rose around a dozen more of the goblin creatures appeared from behind boxes, out of doorways and even the ventilation shafts, their own pistols clicking as they all glared at the pirates gathered around the narrow door way.
"Ah" Hando said as he realised the predicament
The colossal alien banged one its free fist into its chest before pointing straight at Hando letting out a laugh and saying something intelligible.
Well dag the pirate thought as he realised what was about to happen.
"Is this the place Garrus"?
The Turian did not reply as he exited the air taxi only giving the commander a nod as he with a deliberate pace almost stormed off towards one of the many warehouses that surrounded them. Shepard turned to Tali who shrugged as they began to follow the Turian who by now was descending a series of steps into the deep bowls of the Citadel. As they went lower though Shepard could tell Garrus was getting tense, his brow was furrowed and his body tense, he was near twitching as he reached out to open a second door.
"I'm not surprised that Bailey tipped us off about this place, it's always been a hell hole" the former C-sec officer spat reminiscing about the brief but informative chat that he and the Commander had with the Zakera Ward captain.
"Will the contact be here" Tali asked as she walked up behind Garrus reaching out to him.
Before she could he spun around aggressively. He had an almost mad look, his eyes rife with a murderous blood lust that was typically found only in Krogan. Still as he spoke he sounded just as calm and collected as he usually did.
"I informed them to meet us here, he will come unless he thinks something is up" Garrus said as he pounded his fist together.
"Don't worry Tali" Shepard whispered "I won't let him do anything stupid"
Tali nodded as Garrus once again oblivious to all else opened the door allowing the party to walk into a large open room that seemed to go on forever packed with boxes and crates from thousands of worlds. They noticed many of the packages where haphazardly left lying in random positions like everyone had just dropped them and left. A few boxes sat open revealing their contents of weapons, food and in one raw element zero which was contained in a sealed glass bubble. Looking around they noticed that the dimly lit area was practically deserted. Practically!
Two Krogan stared at them from a distance, the green armoured behemoths just looking at them, one cradling a avenger rifle like a child, the other holding a Katana shotgun in his off hand. Both seem unsurprised to see the party arrived in fact one turned and said something to the other although it was hard to make out. Standing up the Two Krogan walked across the room towards Shepard and his entourage their guns held firmly at the ready of any sign of trouble.
They stood off from the commander and Garrus by a good three meters each of them glaring menacingly as they tried to stare them down.
"You here to meet out mutual friend" one gruffly said as he loosened his neck.
Tali and Shepard just looked at each other as Garrus nodded waiting to see what was about to happen. The Krogan didn't take long the other one looking over his shoulder as from ot behind a rather small crate came a rather short and squat alien. The Volus hobbled over in his confining black and green pressure suit, it taking deep breaths as it struggled to move.
"Your Fade" Shepard asked a little surprised as what he had heard of the identity forger was someone who could easily evade C-Sec, this guy looked like he couldn't outrun a snail.
"Looks can be deceiving" the Volus stated with a hiss of his rebreathe, "so" he then asked "which one of you wants to disappear?"
"I would rather you make someone reappear" Garrus stated almost straight away his tone cool and confident.
"Err" the Volus stuttered "t-that's not the s-service… w-we provide" he admitted as the Human and Turian pulled themselves up their full height, making the thigh high alien cringe.
"Make an exception" Garrus said with a hint of sarcasm with Shepard and Tali crossing their arms to look more imposing, "Just this once".
With that Garrus reached down to one of the many open boxes and seized a Shuriken pistol, he quickly brought it around to point it at the Volus swore as he saw the Turian load in a thermal clip in one smooth motion, Garrus's two prong fingers flexing as he decided whether to shoot him or his body guards. The Volus decided for him.
"Quick shoot them… shoot them you lumbering mountains"
However the Krogan who had been keeping their eyes on the parties holstered weapons had not expected anyone to make for a crate of weapons. As they hastily raised their weapons on Garrus one felt a quick pang of pain in his side as Shepard unloaded his Heavy pistol into the brute of an alien. The Other Krogan seeing this turned now to Shepard in the confusion before feeling his head crack like a grape as Tali fired three heavy round into his forehead. Garrus taking advantage of this fired a full clip of rounds into the remaining guard causing him to fall over and lay motionless on the floor.
The Volus peeked out from under his stubby flabby arms and quickly saw the two men lying dead on the flood. He gave a gulp and thanked the clans that his suit had inbuilt latrine functions. The whole scenario had only lasted three seconds and these… people had managed to dispatch Krogan in what could be scarcely called a breath. He now looked up of them really grateful they couldn't see his terrified expression behind his mask.
"Was that really necessary Garrus" queried Tali.
"Maybe not" his detected tone showing he didn't care, "but either way now him"
"No, n-no I'm not Fade I-I just work for him" he yelled again and again terrified as the Turian advanced on him.
"I knew it" Shepard said not surprised in the slightest.
"I-I d-don't know who you're looking f-for" he wheezed "only Fade knows that"!
"Well then" Garrus began, kneeling down on one knee "you better tell us where he is then"!
"Of c-course, of c-course" the alien wheezed again "he works out of the old prefab foundry… in the industrial district"
"I know the place" Garrus stated turning to go
"He's got a lot of Mercs" the Volus added, probably to dissuade them, "Blue suns… Harkin thinks their protecting him"
"Figured that rat would have something to do with this" Shepard said out loud, remembering the rather sick C-Sec officer,
"But how did he end up being the Fade" Tali asked
"Well he got fired from C-Sec a while back" explained the Volus, "He then decided to use his knowledge of their system to make a few people… disappear"
"And let me guess" Tali stated "he then made himself disappear"
The Volus only nodded
"Interesting" Garrus stated turning to Shepard, "but it changes nothing we still need to find him"
"Well lets go pay him a visit"
The Volus however still uncertain shifted slightly as the group began to leave.
"So can I go" he called after them
"For now… but if we don't find what we're looking for we'll be back for you" Garrus shouted back
"Wonderful" the Volus cursed as he stared down at the blank eyes of his guards.
Authors notes
Well here is another chapter after what was probably a month. I am overjoyed to see a small but steady stream of new viewers despite my absence and a number of people coming back to read it as well. I am very greatly for you coming and seeing my work and I hope you have enjoyed it.
Now I also have some Good, better and bad news.
The Bad news is painfully obvious, I am unsure when the next chapter will be ready for publishing. True I have a long term plot plan (in addition to the Mass Effect plot plan) but the fact of the matter is that I had a backup chapter in case I didn't finish one and to prevent me sitting on it and causing stress during the exam I published all my work. So the sad truth is that there will be possible no more weekly updates, although if I write enough there could be, but I am unsure.
The good news is though I have finished my A-level exams and now I have a lot of free time on my hand so who knows, I could get back into the swing of things given time.
Now the better news is quite important, and considering you have willingly read all these notes and the actual story to get this far I will consider that you are actually invested in Universal Adventure. I am requesting original characters, specifically Spectres. My story requires three spectres that you the viewers can create, still there are rules. There can be no non-citadel, Human or Hannar spectres due to lore restrictions, moreover none can have served for more than twenty years as I feel that Saren served for over thirty, I couldn't really find out. Moreover if you do suggest them they could potentially all die, so if I do kill one or all off please do not complain, also I will only accept the character if and only if you provide a review for my story and you are not a guest. Sorry but I need feedback to improve my work and I do not want just anyone suggesting something. If you are willing to do all of this I would ask you list there species, home world, age, former occupation, alignment (Paragon, Renegade), personality, defining career moment, relations with a select parties, their appearance, fighting style, powers and their weapons. Along with anything else you would like.
Either way if you decide to do so or not I am looking forward to continuing the story if I can bring myself to write it, and I am looking forward to your input if you are willing to post.
Yours sincerely the P.B.G
