"Is it because I am a wiccan?" Wyatt asked interrupting Perry's train of thought. Perry knew this was bad that Wyatt figured that out. Snape and Perry exchanged a quick glance before Snape nodded.

"Yes it is."

"Perry…" Wyatt said looking at his friend. "That means that you are…"

"A wiccan."

Chapter 7

"You're a wiccan?!" Perry imagined the volume of Wyatt's voice at that point in time could have broken every window in the school.

"Yes…" Perry answered.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SOMETHING!" Yep Wyatt was mad….Perry could only imagine what would happen if he found out the whole truth.

"I couldn't," Perry stated quickly. A story formed quickly in his head. The best lies are based off of the truth so why not tell Wyatt the truth. "When I was younger I was raised as a wiccan. I loved my family and being with them made me feel complete; however one day while everyone else was out the house was attacked by death eaters. I wasn't able to escape…"

Snape grimaced at Perry's modified edition of the events. He could still remember when the death eaters had brought in the young Wiccan. Chris's screams still continued to shake him to his bones.

"I didn't know why they needed me, but they kept me there until their 'leader' was to be resurrected. I lost track of time and soon my faith was lost. Things became worse once that rat man came into the picture, but thankfully I was saved before the scaly one came around." Perry was thankful that he wasn't there when old Voldy showed for he knew exactly what they wanted and that was never going to happen. "I was brought here and Dumbledore enrolled me here for the dark lord was not happy that his 'tool' escaped so now there is a very large bounty for my return."

Wyatt was shocked at what he had just heard. Nobody should have that weight upon their shoulders.

"Who all knows?" Wyatt asked.

"Only a select few: Dumbledore, Professor Snape, and now you. Everyone else thinks I'm just an amazingly talented wizard."

"And it needs to stay that way," Snape interjected. "If this secret got out them things would become worse for this school. There is already a target on Potter's head by the Ministry and the Death Eaters, we don't need the Dark Lord to turn his complete attention to this school."

"I won't say a thing," Wyatt promised with a smile. "I'm just glad that I am not the only one here." Perry smiled back.

"Well, now that is done, why don't we get on with the lesson." Snape had returned back to his scowling ways. Perry and Wyatt both laughed at this having seen the caring potions master.

Later on that day

After the lesson was over both Perry and Wyatt were on their way to their biology class.

"So what powers do you have?" Wyatt whispered to his friend. His joy was overflowing after learning about Perry.

"Telekinesis, normal spell use, and some others that need to remain under wraps." Perry laughed. The other powers would remain his secret for if Wyatt knew about the others then everything would be blown (PUN! You will learn why!)

"So cool!" They arrived in the green house to find that the class had gotten their early.

"How was detention?" Fred asked as the boys joined the twins

"Horrible," Wyatt groaned. "He made us scrub everything by hand including the floors and pots. What makes it worse is the fact that he says he will have more for us tomorrow…" Perry was surprised that Wyatt could convince the twins so easily but it worked. Sympathetic looks were written on, not only the twin's face, but on the other Gryffindor classmates who were eve's dropping.

"Hello Class," Professor Sprout said commanding everyone's attention. "And I see the trouble makers have graced us with their presence." That caused a couple classmates to start to laugh which included Perry and Wyatt

"Sorry Professor Sprout, we were…"

"Oh I know where you were and I say this now," She said with a smile. "I would very much like to stay on the ground." What every classmates that hadn't laughed earlier were mimicking hyenas.

"That was a onetime thing," Wyatt managed to say when he caught his breath. "I am actually a good student."

"That is good, but I was wondering something," the look she gave him could mimic that of the twins. Her gaze shifted upwards to the shelves. "Can you bring all those down at the same time? I always thought that Wiccan magic is amazing, but I have never had a chance to see it in action." She looked more giddy than a young witch.

Wyatt looked over at Perry and with an exchange of looks Perry knew exactly what to do. It had been a while since he had had a real chance to use his powers so this would be fun. With a squint of his eyes Perry had all 34 pots floating off the shelves onto the tables gently. All eyes were filled with amazement as the pots suddenly lifted back up in the air. They began to arrange themselves while floating around all the students before returning back onto the table.

Perry looked at Wyatt who gave him a quick wink.

"That was amazing!" Professor Sprout shouted as the class broke out into applause. Perry clapped along as Wyatt bowed for both of them.

"And now back to the lesson…" Wyatt was happy that at least in one of his classes his teacher would enjoy his gifts.

After an amusing time the class ended too quickly. The room emptied as the group walked towards Hagrid's Hut; however it wasn't until after they reached their destination that they realized the lack of teacher.

"Where is Hagrid?" Perry asked the twins. Both of them shook their heads. It was then that they noticed the letter on the door.

Care of Magical Creatures is cancelled until Professor Hagrid's return

"Was he here yesterday?" Wyatt asked as everyone left.

"Yeah but he left early and quickly. " Fred answered.

"Curious…" Perry whispered.

"Indeed…" Wyatt agreed

Fifth Period

After fiddling around for a while Perry led Wyatt towards the Divination tower.

"So why aren't you taking Divination?" Wyatt wondered.

"One, the teacher is screwed up in the head and Two; the effects of some of her potions can have different effects for wiccans." Perry remembered what happened when Professor Trelawney gave them a potion created to help open the drinkers mind. The effect on wizards was a simple euphoric high that would last for about an hour; however Perry's mind became a lethal weapon. Everyone thought they had hallucinated the lighting, the exploding/freezing glass, the floating objects, and the white shinning orbs that consumed almost everything. If Dumbledore and Snape hadn't rushed in, things would have gotten worse quickly.

"Be careful Wyatt," Perry warned as they reached the tower. "And don't…DON"T drink any potions." Wyatt laughed not noticing the serious undertone in Perry's voice.

Ok, I won't" there was a thick line of sarcasm as Wyatt answered as he preceded into the class room.

"This is going to end badly…" Perry foreshadowed.

Wyatt ended up sitting next to another Gryffindor who looked like he was ready to pass out from excitement.

"H-H-Hi….I'm-m …S-Sage." The boy got out.

"I'm Wyatt."

"I KNOW! YOU ARE AMAZING!" with every syllable it sounded like Sage was getting louder and louder.

"Thanks…" Wyatt was saved from any more small talk when a crazy bag lady with goggled for glasses came rushing in.

"Good Afternoon Class," came the woman as she stumbled into the class. "As we were talking yester day the mind cannot comprehend the future without help, so one must be able to open one's mind. To do this…"

As if struck by lightning Trelawney started to shake and convulse. "I sense something…something powerful…" she began to roam around each table until she go to Wyatt's table.

"YOU!" she pointed to Wyatt. Here look mimicked that of his Aunt Phoebe's during a vision.

"Two sons of the blessed three

One to reign and one to rule,

The eldest heart will sink and break,

The youngest chosen as a tool.

The future path is spilt in two,

One to dark and one to light,

But if the light hopes to prevail,

The two powers must unite.

But if the master obtains the one,

Pain and suffering will there be.

The war will end in blood and loss,

The youngest brother is the key"

Wyatt sat in complete shock and fear as the teacher snapped out. "I'm sorry what did I say…" before she could finish the question Wyatt had flung himself out of the room.
