FEAR
A thousand scenarios ran across Renge's mind, she is bracing herself for the worst.
Her mind was still numb from seeing her husband walk right in as she and Usui were in such a compromising position.
Now she was sitting in a couch inside their bedroom, while Kyouya quietly took off his tie and began to loosen the buttons of his expensive looking long sleeve shirt.
Then he took of his glasses and began to rub his temples.
Renge swallowed hard as she watched him with her thundering heart.
He hadn't said a word eversince and she willingly followed him to their bedroom.
Right now he was undressing before her, so quietly she could probably hear a pin drop.
When he was finally just in his house clothes, Kyouya walked towards their bed and laid down.
He was staring momentarily at the ceiling before closing his eyes.
With a quiet sigh, she lets him be and leaves the room.
Outside in the corridor she meets Usui who was supporting a worried look in his face while carrying a tray.
"Kyouya-sama is unwell" he tells her in a soft voice. Her eyes widened in concern as he handed over a tray that had a glass of water and medicine.
She looks at him for a few seconds and then sighed.
She didn't like the way Usui was looking at her. It was filled with remorse and overwhelming guilt.
Renge pushed those thoughts aside and focused on how to deal with Kyouya first.
She placed the tray on the nearby coffee table and sat on the edge. Her heart was pounding again, afraid to wake him up knowing that Kyouya had an indescribable temper when someone wakes him up.
A trembling hand reached out to touch him, yet she paused mid air trying to gather her strength. Physically and mentally. This was absurd, the way she was still even frighten even as he laid there asleep and obviously looking ill.
But she was determined to wake him up so she shook him lightly then calls his name softly.
It took him awhile to wake up, but when he looks at her sleepily without much emotion.
"Y-you need to drink your medicine" she stuttered timidly reaching out for the medicine and water.
He does not say a word, he swallows the pill. drank the water and went back to sleep.
Renge sat there watching him fall into deep sleep.
There was nothing more wonderful in this dreadful union than watching Kyouya Ootori sleep. That long dark lashes, his steady
breathing, his whole self surrendering to deep slumber. She felt safe, able to watch over him all day and night with scrutiny or
embarrassment.
She did this all night, attending to his fever and waking him up to drink medicine. To her surprise he was quite submissive to
everything. The next day when he look still too weak to go to work, Renge suddenly began thinking it felt rather nice that she was taking care of him.
Having the great Ootori Kyouya submit to her was the rarest thing there is.
But everything was short lived, on the 3rd day she woke up to find Kyouya looking at her curiously.
"How are you feeling?" she asked hoarsely, her voice thick with sleep.
He sat up, his silky dark hair tousled. "Better" he replied quietly and looks around. "I'll be going to work" he started to get up when wearily Renge caught his wrist.
He stares at her with those eyes, naked from its glasses.
"I am fine" he said and she gently releases her grip on him.
Nursing Kyouya even though it had only been such a short while unexpectedly made her long for him.
Or his company perhaps.
It was probably her own loneliness seeping in.
Or why she turned to Usui for that matter. She still had to talk to Kyouya about that. The mere thought of it made her nervous now that Kyouya was well and back to his usual sharp minded self.
She closes her eyes and began to wait.

Kyouya expect tons of work when he came back to the office, but he didn't expect seeing one person.
Tamaki Suou was seated comfortably in his office chair and was busy flipping through a magazine.
"Kyouuyaaa!" the blonde boy exclaimed making him sigh. "How are you doing? I heard you were terribly sick a few days ago!"
"I'm only human so occasionally I get sick" he said dryly.
"I was suppose to come and visit you but Renge said you really needed rest" he told him. Kyouya slowly placed down his things and nodded.
"At least that girl is useful for something.." he muttered.
"Did you say something?" Tamaki asked curiously.
Kyouya let out a force smile. "Have seat in that couch Tamaki and let's talk of something else"

"Welcome Home" a voice greeted.
He paused and stared in surprise at the girl standing near the hallway. She looked rather anxious, fidgeting with her fingers.
"What is it?" Kyouya asked facing her.
"Um"
"If its about the other day-" he started to say when she shook her head. "Yes, I want to ask you something" she interrupted.
"Let's go to my study" he replied walking pass her stiffly.
When they were alone, Kyouya turned to find Renge standing dangerously close to him. She was looking at him, no rather studying his features rather closely.
"W-what...?" he took a step backwards only to feel himself trapped against his desk.
"You're feeling okay, right?" she raised her hand to touch his forehead.
"Of course I am" he pried away, feeling suddenly embarrassed.
"Is that what you were worried about?" he asked looking anywhere but at her.
"Yes" she replied rather weakly.
"Why would you be worried about me?" he asked in disbelief.
Renge frowned. "Why shouldn't I? Its so rare for you, the great Kyouya Ootori to get sick and besides..." she narrowed her gaze. "I actually find comfort of having to take care of you for once"
Kyouya stared at her unable to say anything.
"I mean.." she shook her head, "I do not wish you ill of course but, you get the point!" she exclaimed before she took off.
Kyouya loosened his tie and ran one hand across his dark hair. Women were so hard to decipher, even though with all those craziness he had to deal back in highschool.
He entered their room and found her brooding by her desk.
"So I reckon you're a masochist? he replied putting aside his tie and unbuttoning his shirt. She glared at him and he rolled his
eyes trying not to smirk. Sometimes he did find amusement in Renge's defiance.
"Maybe I should be the one mad at you, don't you think?" he asked removing his old shirt to put on a new one.
Renge felt her hands cold, but she stared back at him with confidence. She will not falter, not in front of Kyouya Ootori.
"It's not-" she started to say, the words coming out strong but Kyouya raised a hand. "-what I think it is?" he laughed rather
forcefully. "A common statement of the guilty"
"You're so impossible to talk to sometimes, Ootori!" she exclaimed. "I'm beginning to think you must really hate me because
you'd rather listen to others. Remember you force yourself to this union" she bit her lip, stood up and ran towards the door.
Kyouya caught her wrist just in time.
"Then tell me the truth, Renge" he said softly.
