Ohmigosh I finally started this chapter! I hope that you guys might actually like Akira. She might be pretty confusing with her personality, but that's because there are still some things about her that have yet to be revealed.
So so so sorry about the delay for this chapter; real life got busy for a little bit there. But hopefuly updates will be a little bit more frequent than they have been; since I have another chapter pre-written and one after that halfway done.
So, hey. Fingers crossed that I can finish this story up soon!

Warning: Kyoya may be a little bit OOC in this chapter.

Disclaimer: I do NOT own OHSHC; I only own Akira, and Aiko.

07: What Means The Most

-4 and a half months into pregnancy-

—*Akira*—

I yawned and sat up in the bed, looking around. Kyoya must be doing something since he's not here. I stretched and looked down at my belly. It's slowly growing, which means so is our son. I heard the bedroom door open and Kyoya walked in. "I see you're awake." He said. I smiled lazily at him and he walked over to me, kissing my cheek. "I…have some news." Kyoya said reluctantly. "What about?" I asked as Kyoya sat beside me.

Kyoya sighed and looked at me. "Tamaki's sponsoring another dance with the host club." He said. "So?" I said, leaning back onto the headboard. "Well…he's planning to force you to go." Kyoya said. "What?! Why is he doing that?" I snapped. "I don't know. He didn't say." Kyoya said. I let out a long sigh. "Oh, and he says that it's this coming Friday." Kyoya added.

"W-What? Why then?" I asked quickly. "Don't ask me. I'm not sure if he even knows what it is." Kyoya said. I sighed. "Well, tell him I'm not going. I have something else to do that day, and I wouldn't be up to going to a dance afterwards." I said. Kyoya put his arm around me. "You know he'll probably flip out, right?" He asked. "Yeah. It's sort of funny when he does." I said, a smile growing on my face.

Kyoya chuckled in response. "Hey Kyoya…you're going with me on Friday, right?" I asked as the smile on my face faded. "Of course. I planned on going with you despite that dance being that evening." Kyoya said. I wrapped my arms around Kyoya and cuddled close to him. "Thank you Kyoya." I said quietly.

Kyoya put an arm across my back and I felt him kiss my head. "You know that I wouldn't let you go alone."

"So wait, you're not going to tell Tamaki?" Aiko asked as we walked to the library. "No. He's not involved at all and I would like to keep it that way." I replied. "But…shouldn't he know? I mean, you're his sister after all." Aiko said.

I sighed and stopped walking, turning to Aiko. "Look Aiko. Tamaki has nothing to do with this. I would like to keep it that way. You know how much he exaggerates things, and if he were to find out about this, he would blow it way out of proportion." I said, keeping my voice low.

"Yeah, that's true." Aiko said with a sigh. "You, Kyoya and Haruhi are the only ones who know about this, and I would like to keep the host club, Tamaki especially, from finding this out." I said.

Aiko nodded and a smile grew on my face. "You know what to do if Nekozawa gets you to tell him, right?" I asked. A smirk grew on Aiko's face. "Yes. I have it planned out and it'll be ready for if he does get me to tell him." She said. I laughed as we continued our walk to the library.

- January 14

8 AM

Before I knew it, Friday had already arrived. I had woken up with a tight squeezing in my chest, just over my heart, and I ended up crying into my pillow. Kyoya helped me calm down and get ready. I heard a knock on the bedroom door.

"Yes?" Kyoya asked as I pulled a clean shirt on. "Could I come in?" Tamaki asked. Kyoya looked at me and I shrugged. "I'll wait to finish getting dressed." I said. "Yeah, go ahead and come in Tamaki." Kyoya said.

Tamaki opened the door and surveyed the room. "I'm…not interrupting anything, right?" He asked. "No, not really." I said, stretching. "Alright. Kyoya, about tonight." Tamaki started.

As he and Kyoya were talking about the host club's dance, I grabbed the rest of my planned clothes for today and exited the room. I didn't really want to hear about some stupid school dance.

Especially not today.

As I stepped into the bathroom, my phone went off. I smiled at the caller ID, not having heard from my friend in a long time. "Hi Chizuru. How are you?" I asked, sitting on the floor. "I'm good. Benio has us working on a new play. Anyway, did you still want me to go with you today?" Chizuru asked. "Yes…if you're able to." I said, a faint smile on my face.

"Akira, we've been friends for about five years now. Of course I'll go. Is Kyoya going too?" Chizuru asked. "Yes." I replied with a whisper. "Okay, well…I won't fight with him. I'm not as much as a feminist as Benio is, despite the acts we put on." Chizuru said. "Thank you Chi." I said, using the nickname I gave her. "It's no problem, we're friends after all. Plus, I've gone with you two every year since the two of us became friends." Chizuru said.

I could hear the smile in her voice, and I couldn't help but smile in return. "Alright. I guess I'll see you in about two hours in our usual meeting spot?" I asked. "Yeah, I'll see you guys then." Chizuru said. We both hung up and I stood to finish getting ready.

As I did, I thought about when I had attended Lobelia Academy. I was there during middle school, and the first year of high school. I had met Chizuru when we both started middle school, and she became my best friend. In high school, Chizuru decided to join the Zuka club.

I would hang out at their practices instead of going home, and I had meet Benio. She's an odd one; that much is clear. Other than her attempts to get me to join the Zuka club, we got along great. Then she found out about my relationship with Kyoya and she didn't trust me as much as before. She still would attempt to get me to join the club though.

After my first year of high school, I had transferred to Ouran. I don't think that Benio has quite forgiven me for that yet.

8:30 AM

I stepped out of the bathroom with a sigh. Holding my pajama bottoms, I made my way back to my and Kyoya's room. I ended up choosing a long-sleeved navy blue shirt, and a knee-length black skirt. Under that, I'm wearing grey leggings. I opened the door to our room and Kyoya was typing away on his laptop, messily dressed. I sighed. "Kyoya, do you need help with your clothes?"

"No, I'm fine." Kyoya said, not taking his eyes off of his laptop. "Chizuru called when I was in the bathroom. She's going with us again." I said, putting my pajama bottoms in their normal spot.

Kyoya mumbled in response and I sat on the opposite side of the bed. "You know Kyoya…if-if you don't want to go today, you don't have to. You can…you can work on getting things ready for the dance." I said slowly. "What?" Kyoya asked, looking at me. He has a surprised expression on his face; he obviously wasn't expecting me to say that.

"W-Well...you probably have things you need to do for the dance tonight. I-I understand. I…I'll still be going with Chizuru, so…so I won't be going alone." I said. Kyoya sighed, running a hand through his hair before closing his laptop. He stood and walked over, sitting beside me.

"Akira, I'm going. I promised you, didn't I? Besides, I don't think that he…would appreciate you going without me." Kyoya said, wrapping his arm around my side. I nodded. "Yeah, I think that would make him sad." I whispered, leaning my head on Kyoya's shoulder.

"I…really miss him." I whispered, squeezing my eyes shut, trying to keep myself from crying. Kyoya hugged me and I buried my face into his chest, letting myself cry for the second time that morning.

—*Tamaki*—

10:00 AM

"Senpai, should we really be doing this?" Haruhi asked, the uneasiness in her voice obvious. "Yes. I need to know what they're doing." I replied. "Eh, you already know that he's going to follow them until he knows why Haruhi." Hikaru and Kaoru said together. "Yeah I know, but this…we shouldn't be doing this, especially not today. Akira…she would get…upset, if she knew that we were following her." Haruhi said. "Well then, will you tell us what they're doing?" I asked.

Haruhi shook her head. "I can't." She said. "Tama-chan, if Haru-chan can't tell you, then maybe we shouldn't be following Akira-chan and Kyo-chan." Honey said, hugging his pink bunny close to him.

I felt my throat tighten. Maybe they were right. If Akira told Haruhi not to tell us, then maybe it is really difficult for her.

"Hey, who's that they're meeting?" Hikaru asked, looking towards the outdoor café across the street. "Hey…isn't that Chizuru from the Zuka club?" Kaoru asked. "What?! Why are they meeting her! This is not acceptable!" I hissed, standing up. "Senpai, don't." Haruhi said, her voice suddenly cold.

I looked at her in surprise. We all did. "H-Haruhi?" I asked. "Senpai, they're meeting Chizuru because she's her friend and Akira needs her support today." Haruhi said. "Why, though?" Hikaru said. Haruhi sighed and rubbed her temples.

"If I tell you guys, you cannot tell anybody. Akira can't know that you guys know." She said. "We promise." I said with the rest of the guys.

Haruhi took a deep breath. "She's going to visit the grave of her younger brother."

—*Akira*—

"So the baby's a boy, Akira?" Chizuru asked, sipping from her tea. I nodded. "Yeah, he's due in June." I said. "Oh wow! Do you two already have a name picked out?" Chizuru asked. I looked at Kyoya, who smiled at me.

"We're naming him Kosuke." I said softly. "You're naming the baby after him?" Chizuru asked. I nodded and she smiled. "That's great. I think that he would be happy to hear that." She said. I smiled. "I think that he'd be happy to know that you're happy." Kyoya said.

I nodded. "He…was always telling me to be happy." I said. Kyoya looked at his watch. "I think that we should get going now. The bus will be at the stop soon." He said. "Yeah, let's get going Akira." Chizuru said.

I nodded and stood. We walked towards the bus stop; my hand tangled with Kyoya's and Chizuru's arm hooked in mine.

—*Tamaki*—

"Wait…Akira had a younger brother?" I asked in surprise. "Yes Senpai. She didn't tell you because you weren't related to him." Haruhi said. "How…did he die?" Hikaru asked.

Haruhi sighed. "He was in an accident when he was 7. Akira was twelve at the time. He died instantly, and since that year, Akira's visited his grave with Kyoya and Chizuru." Haruhi said. "Why did she tell you?" I asked. "She trusted me not to tell you guys, but now…" Haruhi shook her head. "Just don't do anything stupid Senpai; I'm going home." Haruhi said, simply turning around and walking away.

"What do we do now Tama-chan?" Honey asked. "We should try to cheer her up…even though she might hate me for following her and dragging you guys along." I said. Honey smiled and nodded. "I think that might be good." He said.

I turned and faced the direction of the bus stop. "Let's go men!"

—*Akira*—

We had just sat down on the bus, when I saw five familiar faces. Those five people walked towards us and sat with us in the back of the bus. "Hi Akira!" Tamaki said , a dorky smile on his face. "What are you doing here?" I hissed. "We wanted to cheer you up Kira-chan. Tama-chan said that you were depressed this morning." Honey said.

Multiple profanities filled my brain, but I forced them back before I rubbed my temples in frustration. I felt tired.

"You idiots…can't you mind your own business?!" Kyoya growled. Tamaki and the others squeaked in fear and I grabbed Kyoya's arm. "It's…it's okay Kyoya. I…don't want to fight anyone today." I said, looking at him.

Kyoya sighed and nodded. "So Tamaki. Why did you decide to follow Akira?" Chizuru asked, annoyance obvious on her face. "I was curious." Tamaki said with a pout. "Do you ever stop to think that maybe she didn't want to tell you about today for a reason? No, you didn't. You thought only about fulfilling your curiosity and you dragged these morons with you." Chizuru snapped, motioning to the rest of the host club.

"Hey! We're not morons!" The twins said in protest. "Mo-rons~!" Chizuru sang, pointing at the twins. The twins were about to reply, but were stopped by the bus stopping itself.

I took a deep breath as Kyoya and I stood. "We're here."

The cemetery was quiet. Peaceful, as some would say. However, it gives me an eerie feeling. Cemetery's always do. We stopped in front of a line of headstones. "Can you and the hosts wait here Tamaki? At least for a moment." I said. "Sure." Tamaki said. Kyoya, Chizuru and I walked down the line.

We stopped in front of a headstone with 'KOSUKE AIHIRA' on it. I smiled weakly and opened my bag. I took a flower out, a white rose, and set it in front of his headstone.

"Kyoya, did you want to say something first?" I asked softly. "No. You can go ahead Akira." Kyoya said, his arm around my shoulders. I nodded and looked at the headstone in front of us.

"Hey there Kosuke. How are things? I…ended up meeting my other brother. You would have liked him, he's as big as a goofball as you were. It turns out that he and Kyoya started a host club. Crazy, right? The other guys in the group are…let's say crazy. There's also a girl in the group, she has a debt to the club so she's disguised as a boy while there. Oh, guess what? You're going to be an uncle, Kosuke. Yeah, I'm pregnant. Guess what else? It's a boy and…and we're naming him after you." I sniffled. "I…really wish that you were here Kosuke. You would really like Tamaki. Who knows? You two might have even been good friends if you had the chance. I…I love you…" My voice trailed off due to tears streaming down my face and I wiped them away.

Kyoya wrapped his arm around my shoulders and I smiled at him before he turned to face Kosuke's grave. "Hey…Kosuke. I know that everything has happened fast, I mean, especially with your sister and I. You know…there comes a time in every person's life when they decide…that they need to be who they are. I'm doing that now and I'll take care of Akira and our son, I promise you that, Kosuke."

I turned and hugged Kyoya and he held me as the rest of the host club walked over. Chizuru set the flowers she had in her bag on Kosuke's headstone. She smiled. "I hope you're happy squirt. You should know that you're sis is in good hands. You know, you were right. Her brother is just as big of a spaz as you thought he was going to be." She said. She turned to the host club. "Now, let's get to the park, okay?" She asked. "O-Okay." Tamaki said, blinking. As he and the others followed Chizuru, Tamaki looked back at me and Kyoya.

I sniffled and smiled softly at Kyoya. "Thank you." I said. "For what?" Kyoya asked, holding my hand. We started following our friends. "For...being here...with me." I said, looking around us. "It's no problem. We've been coming here together for a while now." he said softly. I smiled at him and Kyoya kissed my forehead.

Tamaki walked over to us. "Akira, I'm sorry we followed you." he stated, rubbing the back of his neck. I let out a chuckle. "It's alright Tamaki, I...kind of figured you were going to. Besides, you were going to find out about Kosuke sooner or later. It's better that you find out now."

I looked to see Chizuru scolding the twins about something, and smiled. "You know...up until I got to know you guys better...I kind of felt like Kyoya and his siblings were the only family I had, as stupid as it sounds." I stated softly. "Akira..." Tamaki stated, but I waved my hand. "Like I said, it sounds stupid. But, I realized something recently, about you and the host club."

Chizuru smacked Hikaru's head and Kaoru laughed as Hikaru hid behind him. Chizuru shook her fist at him as he proceeded to stick his tongue out at her.

I smiled at Tamaki. "Tamaki... you and the host club, you guys are my family. I wouldn't trade you guys for anything in the world."

Tamaki sniffed, a smile on his face as he stepped towards me. "Akira..." he started, pausing when I stepped towards him. I simply reached out, wrapping my arms around Tamaki and hugging him. "Thank you Tamaki."

I felt Tamaki hug me back tightly, but being careful of the baby bump. He rested his chin onto my shoulder and let out a breath. "It's no problem, Akira. You're my sister, and I would do anything for you."
