Hi guuuuuuuys! I told you that I would update soon. Well, I think it is a right time right? Well, on with chapter 7! enjooooooy

The next morning

Sonic woke up to the sound of a terrible cough that came from Amy. He rubbed his eyes and yawned. He caught a glimpse of Amy and she seemed to be sleeping well although the cough told a different side of the story. He crawled next to her and touched her forehead. The first thing Sonic did was gasp and shook Amy to wake up.

"Soooooonic stooooop." Amy said, half asleep.

"Amy wake up. Something's not right about you." Sonic replied.

"What are you talking about? Just let me sleep. I'm tired."

Sonic sighed and grabbed her by the shoulders, shaking her until she was fully awake.

"AHHHHH SONIC STOP! I'M AWAKE!" Amy yelled. Sonic chuckled and looked at her worriedly. Amy noticed something was different with him and had no choice but to ask him what was wrong.

"Are you okay?" She saw that he shook his head and was curious about why he wasn't okay. "Tell me what's up…"

"Amy, you're getting sick. I touched your forehead and it was burning. Plus your cough sounds really bad." Sonic remarked.

"Impossible. I haven't gotten sick for all the years I spent outside of the streets. Besides, I'm perfectly fine. Trust me." Amy exclaimed, confidently. Sonic wanted to protest but he knew that trusting her was the only way she can tell him more stuff about her past.

"Oh, by the way…I'm sorry about yesterday…I shouldn't have overreacted. It's just that…the way you think isn't right and it really bothered me. I know what happened to you traumatized you and gave you a terrible opinion about guys but I know you don't want other girls to go through the same thing you did…but, I won't complain anymore…"

Amy looked down and processed everything he said but no matter what he said, she just didn't care. What she went through was too much for her. But she would think about it later and look at the situation a little bit different.

"Okay…and its okay. I understand your behavior…I would have as well. Although you're not me but you know what I mean." She replied, feeling guilty. Sonic felt a bit of disappointed at her response and expected something else but he perfectly understood it was super hard on her. All he did was smile although it wasn't of happiness but instead disappointed and sadness.

"So…what are we going to do today?" Amy asked, changing the subject. Sonic laid against the box and shrugged. "Anything you want. It's fine by me."

Amy tapped her chin thinking of what they both could do but she had nothing in mind. She wasn't hungry that was for sure. She didn't feel like walking. She wanted to do something fun. When an idea occurred to her head, she thought about it and knew it was a bit too much. She let out a sigh which caught Sonic's attention.

"Got nothing huh? Well, neither do I."

Someplace else in the city

"Sir, we have to do something about this issue. A while ago I got a call from a lady who owns a market whose fruit was stolen by a homeless teenage girl. She wasn't seen ever since but the lady added strict rules and has at least 5 surveillance cameras around her store." A deep voice remarked.

"Well, what am I supposed to do? There's nothing we can do about it. We have to wait until the stated year has arrived before we take action." Another voice replied.

"Yes we can do something at the moment. We have that big mansion that we used to use to help the elderly and it hasn't been used in 10 years. I'm sure if we clean it up a bit, and buy new furniture, we can go through the city and look around for homeless teens who can get adopted and get the life they deserve. What do you think? And we have that other foster home at the other end of the city. What do you think?"

"Hm…I guess that could work. Okay, I agree with you. I'll call all the staff to help us out and in one week, we start searching for homeless teens and take them to either the mansion or the foster home. It's settled."

With Sonic and Amy

Sonic managed to come up with a place to go and he thought of taking Amy to the beach. It took a while to convince her but finally she was convinced and they both started walking towards the beach. They both smelt the smell of the sea and in an instant Amy ran off towards the beach hoping Sonic would think it was a race. He was confused at first until he heard her laugh. In an instant, he knew she was racing him and he then took off leaving a trail of dust behind him. Amy stopped knowing he was going to be ahead of her and was almost blown away when Sonic dashed passed her not knowing she stopped. She coughed due to the dust and decided to hide behind a tree to surprise me.

"Amy, you can never beat the fastest thing alive," Sonic said, realizing Amy wasn't in sight. Amy then took her chance to quietly tip toe towards his way and then jumped on his back, catching him by surprise.

"I can sure scare the fastest thing alive." Amy mocked. Sonic rolled his eyes and put her down.

"So? What do you want to do?" Sonic asked.

"Don't know. I guess we can try to look for treasure beneath all this sand." Amy exclaimed.

"You really think we can find treasure? We'd need a miracle to find at least a 20 dollar bill." Sonic replied.

"At least have some hope. It could be fun. Come on!" Amy said, running ahead of him. Sonic chuckled and ran right behind her. But little did they know that these would be the last few days of them hanging out together.

A/N: I think I did well. I think like about 7 or 10 more chapters and then it's the sequel which will totally be longer and better. I hope you enjoy this and expect the next chapter soon. Bye!
