REWRITTEN 1/13/2019

Author's Notes: What's going on guys? Hope you're all having a good day or should I say night? Yeah I kind of uploaded this chapter a bit late. By that I mean like 1am. Oh well. Here's a small chapter I wrote. Wish I could have added more to this one but I wanted to give a chapter every week so here it is.

Enjoy.

A group of girls gathered around each other in the hallway.

"Did you hear about Kagome?" A girl asked.

"Yeah. I saw him talking with the host club. They looked so good together!"

"Do you think he'll join?"

"I sure hope so. Oh my gosh. Shush! He's coming."

Everyone stared as Kagome made her way down the hallway. The sounds of her steps echoed off the walls as she walked by the other students, their eyes following her every move.

'Umm. I guess word spreads quick around here.' She thought. It felt as if their stares were burning through her and she shivered just thinking about it. In fact, she was so spooked that she almost ran into a girl in front of her. "Oh, sorry. It's my fault. I wasn't paying attention." Kagome apologized.

The girl stared up at Kagome, not saying a word. The bottom of her lip quivered as if to say something but no sound came out. Dark curly strands fell in front of her face. Her hands started to wrinkle the piece of rolled-up paper she was holding.

"Do you need something?" She asked the frozen girl. Kagome reached her hand out towards her.

She gave a high-pitched yip and ran away.

"Wait. Where are you going?" When she stepped forward, there was a crunch sound. Kagome looked down to see the crumpled paper the girl had had under her foot. 'She must have dropped it.' Kagome thought, bending down to pick it up. As she looked at its contents her eyebrows furrowed and her eye twitched.

With the Hosts

"Why are you moving a table around?" Asked Haruhi. Tamaki and Mori were currently maneuvering around an extra table of theirs about the room.

"We have to get the club room set up to make a space for Kagome." Tamaki answered.

As if on cue Kagome kicked open their door and stormed into the room.

"Speaking of Kagome..." Haruhi whispered.

She walked up to Kyoya and slammed the paper into his chest. "Would you mind explaining what this is? I'd really like to know." She loudly said, sarcasm dripping from each word.

Kyoya took the hard shove Kagome gave him, stifling a pained grunt. "I see you found one of our flyers. Is there a problem?"

"Yeah there's a problem!" She unwrinkled the paper and held it out to let the others see.

The paper depicted Kagome on a beach with a wet shirt askew on her body revealing the "muscles" underneath. She held a bow that rested on her shoulder and her eyes were aimed towards the camera.

"You have bigger pecs than I thought Kagome." Haruhi teased, fully knowing that couldn't be her.

"No! Don't look at it Haruhi!" Tamaki came from behind and covered her eyes with both of his hands. "You shouldn't look at such lewd things!"

"Is this really necessary Tamaki-senpai?" Haruhi blandly asked.

"How else were we going to advertise our new member?" Kyoya asked, bringing everyone's attention back on him.

"How'd you even make this?" Kagome questioned. "I didn't pose for it."

He pointed behind her. "Why, the twins photo-shopped it of course."

The twins were trying to sneak out of the room but stopped when they heard their names. They slowly turned around, scared smiles plastered on their faces.

"I. Uh. Think it portrays you quite well Kagome." Kaoru stuttered.

"We worked really hard on it. We didn't think you'd be that mad about the picture." Hikaru spoke up.

Her face was puzzled for a moment. "Who said I was mad about the picture?"

"So, you're not mad that they made a flyer with a photo of you without your permission?" Kyoya questioned.

"What do you mean "they"!? You're the one who told us to do it." The Hitachiin twins complained.

"I'm not mad about the picture." Kagome told them. "I actually like it. It's very detailed and I appreciate you giving me a bow and arrow. How'd you know that was my favorite sport?"

"Well at least someone understands and notices the details we put in things..." Kaoru directed at Kyoya.

She pointed to the words on the paper. "I'm mad about what it says. Just look at what's on the bottom."

Tamaki leaned towards the paper to get a better look. "Athletic type." He read out loud.

"I don't think my "type" can be summarized as only being athletic. It makes me sound like a glorified meathead. Makes me seem two-dimensional. Seriously, I'm much more than just a brawn." Kagome explained.

"You're saying you want a different typing?" Kyoya asked.

"Duh."

Kyoya took a deep breath and pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to alleviate his oncoming headache. "We'll take care of it if that's what you want." He looked back up to Kagome. "What exactly do you want your type to be then?"

She shrugged.

He sighed. "You complain that you don't like your title, yet you don't know what you want it to be."

Kagome crossed her arms. "To be fair, I didn't know that we all had titles in this club so I never thought about it." She explained.

Kyoya sighed again. "Alright. Figure something out before the club starts. Talk about it with the others if you need to." He instructed before walking away.

"Alright!" Tamaki yelled.

Kagome felt a tug which then turned into a yank on the back of her shirt and stumbled back onto a couch. The twins jumped from the back of the couch to sit on both sides of her. A table along with a few papers appeared in front of her.

'What…is going on?' She thought.

"Ok Kagome." Tamaki stepped behind the table. "Here is a list of all the typings that we created for you when we came up with the "Athletic type."

"…Ok?" Kagome nervously said. She reached out and took a paper from the desk. They watched her as she read all the options on the paper.

Then watched as she read the second paper.

Then the next.

Then the next one.

And the next.

And then finally, the last one.

"Sooo. What do you think? Which one do you like?" The twins asked.

Kagome put the last paper back on the table and straightened back up. "I hate all of them." She boldly stated.

Tamaki's jaw dropped. "How could you hate every single last one of them?!"

"Some of these don't make any sense." She explained, picking up one of the papers again. "Just look at this one. Cleanly type? What does that even mean?"

"It was a long night ok?!" The twins yelled.

Haruhi walked over. "You know that you have to come up with something before the club starts right?"

"I know." She told Haruhi and looked back at the papers. "Hey. I have an idea."

"Then spit it out. We don't have any time to waste." Hikaru told her.

She gave him a mean look before continuing on with her idea. "Why don't we just have the girls vote on what they want me to be called?" She asked.

Tamaki thought about it. "That's…not a bad idea, Kagome." He told her. "We could have the girls come in and discuss amongst themselves what type of person they think Kagome is."

"But wait." Kagome interrupted, disappointment in her voice. "How would we get my type set up before the girls get here? How would they vote before club starts?"

The twins snickered. "I think we can fix that." Kaoru said.

Kagome laid her body on the couch and rested her head on the arm. "What do you think those two are doing?" She asked Haruhi as she set a tea cup on the table in front of her. "The club is about to start."

Haruhi shrugged. "If I were you, I wouldn't have let those two off by themselves to do a task for me."

"What's that mean?" She asked.

"Some of the things the twins do can be a little…embarrassing." Haruhi told her.

Kagome laughed. "I'm sure it can't be that bad."

Haruhi gave her an unimpressed look. If only Kagome knew.

"Come one, come all!"

"To this once in a lifetime opportunity!"

Everyone, startled by the loud voices, watched as Kaoru and Hikaru entered the club room holding big megaphones with a group of girls following behind them.

"Welcome to the Host Club!"

"This is where you'll vote, for the first time ever in Host Club history, for the title of our new Host, Kagome Higurassshhiii!"

Kagome sat up, horrified. "What the…?"

"We've got a nice white board right here so anyone can add their own ideas and you may talk amongst yourselves to prove the worth of your favorite typing before voting time!" Kaoru said as Hikaru wheeled in a white board from somewhere.

"But remember! Your idea must connect with Kagome's personality."

The girls whispered with one another until one girl came to the board and wrote something down with the marker. The others soon followed suit.

"Wha…How?"

The twins turned around to see a very confused Kagome and they smirked.

"Well, if you must know." Hikaru began.

"We went around the hallways and used these megaphones to spread the message."

"And then we cut off the bottoms of the Kagome posters we made and tossed them in the air as we went along."

"Then we-"

Kagome held her hand up to them. "Just…stop." She told them.

They looked at each other and shrugged. "Suit yourself." They told her. "But you can't argue with results."

"This is harder than I thought." One of the girls said.

"Yeah. Kagome doesn't fit a specific shtick."

"I've seen Kagome do a lot of physical activities in school but I've also seen him sleeping on the benches outside."

"Kagome can be really sociable but sometimes he'll walk away to be alone by himself."

"He was really rude to our teacher one day, but he did a complete 180 and politely apologized for it."

"He doesn't seem to care what people think of him but he can get embarrassed easily."

Kagome blushed as they continued to talk about her. 'I've only been here for a couple of days. How do they know this much about me?'

"Aww." The crowd of girls said when they saw the embarrassed Kagome.

"Yeah. Like that." One of them pointed.

They began to bounce ideas off of each other, in hopes they'd figure something out.

A girl all the way in the back began to gently push people out of the way. When she had finally made it to the front, she picked up a marker from the board. The other girls watched as she wrote on it.

When she was done, she rested it backed down and backed away from it so the others could see.

"Ooh. I like it."

"It fits Kagome to a T."

"I wish I'd thought of that…"

Curious, Kagome walked over to see the board herself. Apparently, Kyoya had had the same thought as well.

They both looked at what the girl had written.

Kagome smirked. "I like the sound of it." She said.

"Congratulations." Kyoya said. "You're officially part of the Host Club." He looked at her. "The Unpredictable type."

Author's Notes: Kagome is a host. Finally! But is this a good thing or will disaster come? Eh. Probably both. Especially with the influence of a certain manager...

See you next time.
