Note: Hi, thanks for clicking on my story! I know this is not written in the style of Harry Potter, I have my own style of writing, But the facts from HP would not differ. So, here goes!

OMG, guys, don't hate me! I really didn't know what to write for the next chapter, but I came up with this. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about it! This is a relatively short chapter, showing a bit more of Rose' and Scorpius' friendship.

WARNING: Lots of muggle stuff in this chapter!

Denying The Truth

Chapter 7

I stuffed a handful of popcorn in my mouth before shouting, "SCORP, THE MOVIE IS STARTING!"

I waved my wand at the chandelier above my head and it dimmed, as Scorpius came down the stairs.

"Can we not watch a chick flick for once?" Scorpius asked, grabbing the bowl of popcorn from my hands before sitting down next to me. "And one you already made me suffer through."

I felt the familiar wave of nausea come over me when Scorpius sat down. What on Earth can be wrong with me?

"It's a good movie."

"Please, Rosie, not The Notebook, PLEASE," Scorpius pleaded with me. "I hate it when you bawl your eyes out at the end."

"Got it covered," I said waving a box of tissues.

"Come on, Rosie, we get other movies all the time, but we always end up watching a chick flick."

"So… romantic comedy?"

"No," Scorpius said, riffling through the box of DVDs I left on the couch. "No romance."

"How about one with action and romance?"

"No, Rosie, Titanic does not have action in it."

"What about Warm Bodies?"

"I am not watching you moon over Nicholas Hoult for 90 minutes," Scorpius said, studying the back of the DVD box with disgust.

"I do not 'moon' over him."

"Sure, you cried when Zack and Miri got together."

"Can we not discuss that crude movie you made me watch?" I said, shuddering at the memory of the movie. "It's bad enough you tricked me into it, but did you have to blackmail me into finishing it?"

"How can I not?" Scorpius said, grinning over the top of Bridesmaids. "It was so fun watching you struggle through it, that I don't remember much of the movie."

"Except the explicit parts," I said, giving him sideway glance.

"Of course," Scorpius said, reaching into the box after making a face at Forgetting Sarah Marshall and pulling out another CD. "But Zack and Miri's reunion was a touching and HILARIOUS one, but you didn't even shed one tear. But the daftness of two people being tragically torn apart, then coming back together, and the bloke was broken beyond repair by a stuck up chick, is a story told by the bloke to the woman who has amnesia or something, and then she suddenly remembering for a second and then they both die is romantic?"

I disregarded the fact this was probably the longest speech Scorpius has ever given, and stared irritatingly at him. "It's not amnesia, it's dementia. And it's tragically romantic. You know, their love can do anything."

"That's completely stupid. If the bloke was the girl's true love, she wouldn't have fall in love with another bloke," Scorpius said, reading the back of Pitch Perfect. "Well, the bloke shouldn't tell her at all, if he thinks she's happy with the new bloke. That was selfish of him. Love isn't selfish."

"How would you know?" I retorted. "You don't love. You just play with the love others give you."

"Ouch," Scorpius visibly winced. "I love my parents."

"You know what I mean. You don't love anyone who's not related to you. A girl."

"How do you know?" Scorpius said, riffling through the DVDs again.

"You've forgotten I've watched you date one girl after another, almost non-stop since third year. Earlier if you noticed the girls hitting on you."

"Doesn't mean I don't have the emotional capacity to love a girl."

I wrinkled my nose. "Emotional capacity?" I laughed, "Aw, look who's learning to use fancy terms."

Scorpius threw a look at me, and held up This Is The End. "How's this?"

"Oooh, Jay Baruchel," I gushed, scanning the box. "And James Franco! Yes, let's watch this."

"No," Scorpius said, opening the box. "Oooh, Emma Watson."

"Whatever. Just put it in."
