Author's Note:
Going on and on and on… Let us see where my not so little train of thought leads, hmm…?
Yeah, I've really got nothing to say here… I usually don't, in fact!

The Fallen
Chapter Six: Unfamiliar Concepts
Satuxim continued to train for the next few hours. During that time span, Maio went back to his own exercises, which mostly consisted of relatively simple exercises, such as push-ups and a considerable amount of jugging in place – which was really quite impressive, seeing as how he was still clad in his heavy-looking black and yellow armor. Keiri, meanwhile, had picked up a book from the stand near the entrance of the facility, and went about reading. She actually went through a decent number of them, as the training between the two other Angels went on for a somewhat lengthy period of time. If Satuxim weren't pre-occupied with his "coaching" session with Kazai, he would note that Kieri was only reading books that had Lingo as their language, and, as such, that it was very likely she was exercising her skill with said language.
A few more lessons on lancemanship later, and the two were finally done with their session, with Satuxim panting softly in exertion. A few words went from Kazai's mouth, and Kieri, who was just finishing up on her last book, which was titled, "Of Demons and Angels," translated for the black-haired Angel, "That should do it. Feel free to come tomorrow!" It was only then that Kieri remembered that she needed to alert Kazai to Satuxim's current living situation. Walking over, she initiated a conversation with her twin, with the male Angel looking mildly shocked by the end of it. He stole a glance over at the red-eyed teenager, who was idly watching the two talk, and, noticing his glance, waved in an awkward manner.
Kazai leaned over and whispered into her sister's ear, and the two began bantering back and forth. Their faces shifted much during their discussion, including a rather prominent blush on Kieri's part for some potentially odd reason, and, a full minute of this later, they separated. Kazai's expression was not quite resigned; rather, it was one of mild, if not amused, exasperation, with him shaking his head in a manner which implied that Kieri had done these sorts of these a multitude of times. The male sibling then proceeded to stroll on over to Satuxim and swing an arm over his shoulder, saying a few words in Angelic and walking over to the door, the other Angel in tow, with Kieri following behind, with what seemed to be a forced (and incredibly awkward) smile. Satuxim glanced twisted his head as to look over his shoulder, and caught Maio waving at the three Angelic beings as they exited, an extremely bemused grin present on his features.
As the three went about the streets of Heaven, heading back to the Suizahn house hold, with Kazai continuing to speak to Satuxim, who, himself, could not comprehend in iota of what he was saying. This lasted for several minutes, until Kieri spoke a short phrase to Kazai. The latter looked none too shocked, and, near-immediately after that, he finally took his arm off of Satuxim's shoulders, a smile equal parts apologetic and awkward now taking up a decent amount of space on his face. A lifting of both arms and hands signified a shrug. Satuxim shook his head, realizing that Kazai did not previously know that he didn't really grasp Angelic, saying, "It's fine; you are forgiven." Kieri converted his words into Angelic, and her brother looked thankful for his forgiveness at his mistake, though Satuxim wondered how Kazai didn't come to know this after several hours of Kieri translating for him.
Another solid hour and a half of walking later, and they were back at the twins' house, with Kazai walking in without knocking, the other two following in after him. The family's father walked out of a nearby room to check who walked in. Letting out a small, "Ah", he spoke in Angelic to his two children, and walked across the hall and into the kitchen, beckoning for the small group of teenagers to come in as well. "He says that it's time for lunch," said Kieri after a moment of language conversion. A look of realization came upon Kazai, and a very noticeable growl sounded out from his stomach. Satuxim looked mildly startled at the sound, though this went unnoticed by the two siblings. A short exclamation left the male Suizahn's mouth, which Kieri responded to in what even Satuxim could tell was a bit of an exasperated tone. Kazai nearly sprinted into the room, with Kieri following suite after a shake of the head. Satuxim looked a bit curious before wandering in, himself.
Kieri's mother was just finishing with cleaning up the cooking supplies when the three came into the dining room and sat down on the chairs situated next to a large, rectangularly shaped table, with Kieri and Kazai's father already seated and waiting for his spouse to finish cleaning the utensils. It looked more than big enough for the five of them; in fact, it appeared to be large enough to host five times their number, if not more so than even that. A bowl of soup was placed next to each "seat spot", so to speak, on the table. Judging by the characteristics of the contents of each bowl, the soup the siblings' mother made was of the vegetable variety. A couple of minutes later, their mother, too, sat down, and everyone but Satuxim took up a spoon and began to eat. Satuxim, again, had a rather curious look on his face. After a minute or so of examining what everyone was doing, he also grasped at a spoon, and took a small amount of the confection into it before putting it in his mouth. His eyes widened in what most would consider a comical way, his expression completely and utterly baffled.
Not two seconds later, and he was taking in spoonful after spoonful into his mouth, never once taking a break to, say, breathe, or slow down and give his now-burning throat a break. Everyone else in the room looked on with wide eyes and a few gaping mouths, flabbergasted at why he was eating in such a manner. It didn't even take him thirty seconds to finish off the food in the decently sized dish, and, before anyone even initiated on pondering why he was reacting to perfectly ordinary food, he took the bowl closest to him - that being Kazai's – and began scarfing that one down, too. Kazai let out an indignant-sounding phrase, though that went completely ignored by Satuxim, who, thanks partially to the fact that Kazai had already eaten a decent potion of it, was already done with that helping, as well. He set it down after putting his mouth to the edge of it and capturing the last little bit that he could not put into his spoon, letting out a small belch a moment afterwards. Everyone still had that shocked expression on their face, with the exception of the family's matriarch, who let out an immensely frustrated growl and got up from her seat, muttering something under her breath. Walking towards the door, she glared once again at Satuxim, with the younger Angel glaring back. After a couple of seconds of this, she stormed out of the room and down the hall, murmuring what were likely curses all the while.
Satuxim let out a small breath before getting up and collecting the two dishes and their respective spoons, setting the ones that was originally his into the sink basin, and, taking a ladle from the moderately size pot, poured some soup into Kazai's dish, putting it down in front of said Angel. He strolled out of the room a moment later, shooting Kieri a meaningful glance when he was at the border between the actual room and the halls of the house.
A minute later, and he was situated on the couch in his dusty, old, temporary room, pondering on this new, foreign concept that he had just became aware of. Around ten minutes later, Kieri came along, slowly opening the door to his current living space. Satuxim waved her over, and she did so, using her hands to dust off the area of the couch that she would sit on. A short while of pondering from her as well passed, and she asked of Satuxim, "What was with you back there? You acted as if you had not eaten anything in a week!"
"Oh, so that is what eating is? I've never experienced that sensation before!" Kieri looked extremely surprised at this, and aptly so. "What? Are you saying that you have never eaten in your life?" Satuxim, realizing that that would probably be considered abnormal, elaborated: "Oh, ah… Well, you see, where – or, rather, how I was raised – I wasn't exactly given the opportunity to eat anything." A sigh escaped his throat. "Again, I shall explain my life before the past day to you eventually, when I am more comfortable explaining it to you." Kieri looked a tad depressed at this, and Satuxim quickly figured out that he had worded his sentence wrong, as least, for the young Suizahn's sake. "Not that I am saying that you are not a good friend! It is just…" Another sigh. "You probably would not get it, really. Talking about it is… uncomfortable, to say the least of it. Do you remember my nightmare last night?" A nod of the head from Kieri. "I would probably react the same way as then, trying to tell you about me in any large amount of detail."
"Ah." And how was one supposed to react to that? To learn that one's history is so harsh as to provoke such a response? "Well… I suppose that I will wait for you to tell me, then." A small graced both of their respective faces. "So," Satuxim began, getting up (and also receiving a small sense of dejá vú), "what can we do now? It is only noon, correct?" Kieri out a finger to her chin, thinking for a few seconds. 'If he is not familiar with concepts such as eating or speaking Angelic…' She hazarded, "Well… Do you know how to read?"
