Chapter 7

Thalia's pov

As the hunters came out of the woods I just stood there shocked at how fast Icarus' reflexes are.

"Ho…how did you do that?"

He looked at me with his bright blue eyes; I couldn't help, but get lost in them.

"Ummmm…Thalia?"

"W..what?"

"I said I've trained a lot."

I was going to carry the conversation on, but I was interrupted by one of the hunters.

"Thalia who is this male and why are you hanging out with him?"

I looked at Icarus thinking he would be mad and blast them away, but all he did was put his head down and wait for me to speak.

"His name is Icarus; you know the male Artemis blessed."

They all looked at him in shock.

"Why do you all look so shocked? I mean you saw me earlier." Icarus stated. "Well I guess I will leave and find a place to sleep for the night while you guys talk or whatever."

As he walked by me he whispered "Thanks Thalia I had fun tonight," before walking up to the big house. At first I was happy at the thought that the all mighty son of Aether could like me. Then it quickly turned to confusion and anger. Confusion because I didn't know what to do. I was part of the hunt after all. The anger was because he left me with angry hunters to explain what we were doing before they came. CURSE YOU ICARUS!

Icarus's pov

After I left Thalia with the hunters I walked up to the big house before deciding to sleep somewhere familiar. So I walked out of the boundaries of camp and walked all the way over to the wonderful spot under the stars. The stars were as beautiful as the first night I came here. Although the park looked a lot cleaner now then it did before. So I continued walking over to the bench where I spent the first night here with Alex. That brother of mine can be a real fool sometimes, but after all that's happened I just snapped when he pulled that prank when Percy and Annabeth were in the void. I guess after awhile I'll laugh at the prank and think; why did I act like that. The reason why would all, but be forgotten and we would get on with our lives. I don't know when that exact moment will be, but I'm sure it will come soon. I hope it does because I actually want to have some fun like we used too. With that all on my mind I lie down on the bench and fall asleep.

Chiron's pov

Ah, a nice night of peace and quiet. I stretched as I got up from my bed and walked out into to the morning sunshine. I walked through the grass that was still wet with morning dew. As I got closer to the pavilion I could see a boy standing by the pine tree that currently holds the Golden Fleece and with Pelis wrapped around the base of it. I sighed and then walked over to my seat at the head table. Just as I sat down the horn blew signaling breakfast. I watched as the boy by the tree made no move to come down. I looked around and only saw one person missing, Icarus. I hope he knows he is welcome here and can come eat. I looked at the boy once more only to see that he was no longer there.

"Chiron?"

I almost jumped out of my seat at the sound of the voice. When I finally composed myself I looked around to see Icarus standing there with an amused look on his face yet his eyes shown innocence like he was trying to get away with something.

"Heeelllooo, earth to Chiron."

When I refocused on Icarus all I could see was a hand waving in my face.

"Oh, so where am I supposed to sit, cause I know that these tables are separated by godly parents and all." He said as the waving stopped.

"You can sit at this table if you like."

With that said an extra chair appeared next to me and Icarus happily took a seat. Next a plate of colorful food and a glass of some brown liquid appeared in front of him.

"What did you get?" I asked.

"Well this colorful stuff right here is the best meat in the Void, do you want to try some?"

"Uh no thanks, how did you get it here, the plates only give food gods have."

"Don't forget I also come from a family of gods."

"I guess that makes sense. So what's the drink?"

"Oh, one of the bases I was assigned to here on earth is under a Mary Lou's so I got hooked on this mocha shake thing. You should try one, they're better than regular coffee."

I couldn't help but chuckle (that's such a weird yet fun word. I make myself laugh) at that as I shook my head no. This is one interesting child that the gods have gotten involved with.

I know I haven't posted in a while, but I hoped you like it. I just got reinterested in this story and just had to add a new chapter. The poll is closed and Icarus one the heart of Thalias. I can't wait till I get to the part were they both realize they love each other. But I don't know how I'll put Artemis' reaction what will happen with Thalia and the hunt. Anywho Thank You for reading and bye!
