Assassin's Creed: A Tale of Revolution
Hey all you fanfiction readers and writers. This is Archangel here with the next installment of ATR. Well enough with this so let's begin.
Last time on ATR.
He waited for her to come up and then shoved her back down so that she could drown. She struggled to fight him, having broke a few ribs from the fall. She tried kicking, holding her breath before punching him, trying to loosen his grip. He was hit in the wound and he saw his sword nearby before grabbing it. "Time to get rid of you once and for all."
Now the story continues…
Kakatenas couldn't think or move...her air dwindled quickly, too quick for her brain to comprehend the Oxygen loss. She reached up to push his hand off, but all she did was splash, causing a loud noise and the approach of more red coats. Askook smirked and was about to bring the blade down when an arrow came and hit him in the shoulder, causing him to drop the sword in pain.
The Chinook popped up and gasped for air, she coughed hard after, spitting up water, before she glared at the Templar. She pulled out one of her throwing knives and dived back under. She swam beneath him and she started cutting his clothes. She hoped that with his skin no exposed almost thoroughly, he would contact hypothermia.
She popped back up and swam away from him, kicking her legs extra hard to splash the other in the face as she may get away easier. He growled and tried to swim after her but one arm being injured and getting splashed in the face kept him from following. Kakatenas went as fast as she could before climbing out of the water onto the harbor.
Blood seeped from her wounds as she struggled to stand, holding it in pain. An assassin dropped down, one that was obviously female, before they said "Follow me if you want to get out of this, alive." Kakatenas bit her lip, looking over the assassin with a suspicious look before sighing. "Very well, lead the way." The woman nodded and started walking, while Kakatenas stumbled.
She led the injured Chinook into an alley before redcoats started passing by, searching for her. "Are you still able to climb?" Kakatenas chuckled and she said "I am barely able to stand, I believe climbing is out of the-...the ques-" She staggered and as the woman called the other's name, Kakatenas fell, her eyes closed as she faded from reality.

James and Raphael were able to get Achak back to the church and fixed him up. "We shouldn't have retreated." "You would've died, sir." "Yes, you were pale and would've died if we didn't fix you up." Achak grumbled and he leaned back into the couch, looking out to the window as he noticed the sun rising...Kakatenas hadn't returned yet...He voiced his concerns. "Kakatenas has not returned yet...what was she doing when you two ordered retreat of me?"
"She was trying to keep Askook occupied while we got you away." "She may already be dead." "Dude really?!" Raphael asked him in annoyance. "What? I am only stating the possibility and that is the highest one." Achak just sat there, assusing the situation. He shook his head and he stood "I'm going to-cazzo!" and he fell back, groaning in pain.
The two stopped arguing as soon as they heard him and turned. "It is not a good idea to stand right now." "Yeah, you're still not ready to stand yet." "You just repeated what I said." "In a way he could understand." "Enough!" Achak snapped, glaring at the two white men before him. He said "One of our own is missing, possibly killed, and instead of looking for her, you two just stand here and fight as if you are children!"
James looked down in shame while Raphael scratched the back of his head. "Apologies." "Yeah, sorry." Achak gripped his wound tighter slightly as he felt more pain. Achilles, who had sat in the corner throughout all of this, shook his head and chuckled. Raphael looked at him and asked "What're you laughing at?" "You. He. And Achak." He said simply "You are all too opposite ends to do a simple mission even, yet you think you can rebuild the Creed?"
Silence echoed over the room and Achak said "I don't think," He looked at the elder "I know we can. We might be a bit unorthodoxed but rest assured, our intentions lie for the sole purpose of the Creed." Achilles scoffed and stood, having heard a knock on his door and he went to answer it. He muttered under his breath that it better not be another "Assassin".
He opened the door to meet the sight of a familiar assassin carrying Kakatenas. "She needs help, Achilles." the carrier spoke "She lost enough blood to make her pass out." "In in, bring her in!" Achilles ordered as the other brought her in and he ordered "Raphael, James. Get in here and clear off this table immediately!"
The two had heard the old man and tried exiting the same door at the same time, resulting in the wack of the cane from Achilles. He yelled "Hurry you fools or else we'll have to dig a grave for her!" The men noticed the unconscious Kakatenas and they set aside their bickering to rush over and clean the table off. Once Kakatenas was laid on it, Achilles ushered everyone out of the room as so he may work.
Achak saw them come back in and the female assassin who said "Long time no see, Achak." "Wait, that voice… Anya?" The person revealed to be Anya pulled off her hood, revealing her braided, brown hair, before smiling slightly. "Who else could it be?" "Why-? How-?" "Your friend is lucky I came across her on my way back home." Anya said, cocking a hip and laying her hand on said hip. "She suffered from blood loss and God knows what else from that freezing river."
"And what about the Templar that was fighting her?" "I injured him enough to where he couldn't follow but I believe he is still alive." There was silence in the room and minutes later, Achilles walked into the room. He sighed and said "I have run out of material to patch her up...one of you must run to town." "I'll do it. I'm faster than these two anyway." Anya smirked at Raphael and James and she waved to Achak "See you later Achak." And she ran off.
"Alright, two things Achak. One, how in bloody hell do you have a brother? Two, why is he a Templar trying to kill you and all of us?" Raphael asked. Achilles glared at him and said "Not tonight. Tomorrow. He needs his rest and as do you. James will stay awake with me in case I need aid with Kakatenas." "Of course." James said, nodding. Raphael grumbled and stormed upstairs as James helped Achak to his room.
Meanwhile in Boston...
"You let them escape?!" Askook's master said, though it was borderline shouting, to him. "Yes but it was only because another interfered. I was able to injure Achak and another assassin however." The Master looked interested a bit and he asked "Fatal injuries, I am to assume?" "But of course." Askook stated cockily. The Master looked unamused and he stood "Then go to the Assassin Hideout and finish what you started." "Yes my Master."

Achak was trying to fall asleep but he couldn't as he heard voices from the past. "I will end you one day, Achak. And this time, our bloodline of assassins will end." "Kill me then! You're a naïve and weak boy. You'll never do it!" He sat up and sighed slightly. 'Why couldn't he just stay dead? 'Why must my past come back to haunt me?' Just as he thought this, there was a soft knocking on his door that made his head snap up and look at it.
He was slow to pull the knife out of the stand beside him, he was always prepared for even the strangest of scenarios. He slowly stood, gently holding his wound as he walked to the door. He grabbed the handle and he asked "Who could it be at this unGodly hour?" "Kakatenas." said the voice he could recognized almost anywhere.
He stood in shock and tossed the knife away, opening the door and confirming that it was indeed the Chinook Assassin standing there. "Why...Kakatenas why are you up? You should be resting?" "I was worried about our leader." She said simply, walking into his room as so he could close the door. "And make sure you close the door, I do not wish for any other to join in on this privacy."
"What do you mean?" He asked in curiosity as he turned to her after he shut his door softly. "Achak...I must talk with you…" She sounded a bit...worried. Was there a problem? He got worried himself and he said "You can tell me anything, Kakatenas. I promise you." Kakatenas looked down at the floor before he took her hand softly in his own. They looked at each other, his blue eyes meeting her grey. "Achak...I…" He placed two of his fingers on her lips and he whispered "Do not speak...just think…" And he pulled away just as he leaned down and she leaned up, their eyes closing softly…
And that's where it ends for now. See you in the next chapter.
