"Snow, slow down dear. Robin doesn't look so well" Charming said leaning forward, he glanced back to see a green Robin with his eyes squeezed shut and his hand over his mouth. Regina rolled her eyes and left her right foot pressed against the pedal
"Regina" Snow whispered "Slow down, you don't want your husband to throw up in your car" Snow said
"I hate these metal contraptions, we should have taken horses or walked instead" Robin mumbled
"Oh be quiet, suck it up thie-" Regina caught herself "Robin, we're almost there" she stated without slowing, about a few minutes later the black Lexus halted in front of the restaurant. Regina immediately got out followed by the rest of her party. She tossed the keys to a young teenage valet parker, praying that he wouldn't crash her car.
She felt Charming reach for her hand, she immediately flinched. She turned to see Robin wrap an arm around Snow's waist, she also flinched the two women both glanced at each other and nodded. Regina accepting Charming's hand and Snow leaning into Robin a bit more.
"Hi" Regina said to the receptionist
"Hello" the tall blonde said from behind the counter "I love your outfit!" the blonde practically squealed
"Thank you" Regina said flashing Snow a mischievous smile, Snow rolled her eyes
"Table for four please"
"Sure, please follow Jason he will be your waiter this evening" the blonde said ushering them to follow a young man with dark brown hair and piercing blue eyes
They followed him to a table near the windows looking out to a breathtaking view of a marina
"Wow" Snow whispered
"Gorgeous isn't it" Jason said smiling, his eyes lingering on her form, Robin noticed and glared at the waiter, he cleared his throat
"Could you get us all some water" Robin snapped "Please"
"Of course sir" Jason said smiling at Snow, she immediately blushed
Regina watched her fiancé shift uncomfortably in his seat, he sat next to Charming while the girls were on the opposite side of the table. She couldn't help but chuckle at his jealousy, it amused her
"Anything interesting happen today?" David asked breaking the silence, Snow and Regina glanced at each other
"No" Regina replied "Why do you ask?"
"No reason, the station was rather uneventful. That's all" David said smiling at her
"Oh" Regina said awkwardly smiling back
Snow was getting distracted by the scenery when she felt a foot travel up her calf, she nearly jumped out of her seat
"Robinnnn" Snow said in shock "How..How was your day?" she said trying to compose herself again, he gave her a mischievous grin before turning his attention back to the group. Regina and David were both staring at them with confusion
"Oh, nothing really. I kept trying to accomplish one task but I don't know why" he started to say, Snow squeezed her eyes shut knowing exactly what he was talking about, she wanted to throw up at the recent memories
"I just couldn't accomplish it, isn't that odd Regina?" they all turned to Snow who still had her eyes shut, Regina jabbed her side
"Yes" she said flinching "Quite odd"
They sat there in silence for a few minutes
"Where is that damn waiter" Regina said folding her arms and sighing heavily
"Are you okay Snow?" David asked
"I'm fine" Regina said rolling her eyes
"You seem a bit moody" Robin said under his breath but everyone heard
"Robin!" Snow yelled
"Excuse me!" Regina said showing exactly how pissed off she was
"Jeez, I didn't mean it that way Snow" Robin said
"God, I need a break" Regina said standing up from the table
"A break from the date you forced us to be on?" David asked
"David stop" Snow yelled "Let me come with you Regi- Snow" she said following Regina out the door
"What about your food? You haven't even ordered yet" Robin yelled
"You know us, what we like to eat. I'm sure you can get something right Robin" Regina said
"Wow" Robin said turning back to David
"I know, she definitely wasn't like that yesterday" David added
"Everything just seems to be off with Regina today, I" Robin paused "I don't know what I did for her to do this to me"
"And what exactly did she do?" David asked
"Not what did she do, it's what she didn't do" Robin said with a chuckle
"Oh" David said laughing "I see"
"I mean usually, you can't keep us away from each other, especially now that we are engaged. Our intimacy has escalated" Robin said with a smile
"Maybe she's on her, uh, you know" David said folding his arms
"I'm not following" Robin said cocking his head
"Her lady time" David said slightly embarrassed
"What?" Robin said
"Her period!" David said a little too loudly, he glanced around and heard some giggles from the tables around them. He sighed heavily and cleared his throat
"Oh!" Robin said laughing "I don't think so, she tells me when she is"
"Mary-Margret does the same with me" David said smiling awkwardly, Jason soon came back with four waters
"Here you go" Jason said plopping the drinks on the table "Are you two ready to order or shall we wait for your female friends"
"No thank you, we will order for them" David said
"Okay, go ahead" Jason said pulling out a pen and a book
"My wife will have the Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and I will have your Filet Mignon" David said closing his menu
"My Fiancé will have your fresh Grilled Salmon and I will have the Salisbury chopped steak" Robin said with a smirk
"Oh" Jason said not realizing that the women he was hitting on were both taken by the men he thought were swinging for the other team. "Got it" he said "with a side of pissed off husbands" he whispered so the two men didn't hear him, he quickly walked away
"Did you hear what he said?" Robin asked
"No idea" David said chuckling "But I'm sure it was about me mentioning my wife and you mentioning your fiancé"
"Good, that punk was getting on my nerves" Robin said laughing "How are you and Mary-Margret doing?"
"We're fine, just living as a family"
"That's great and how is baby Neal adapting to this new world?"
"He's adapting quite well"
"How old is that lad now?"
"About eight months in a few weeks"
"Wow, time goes by so quickly" Robin said patting his back
"It really does" David said taking a sip from his water
"Speaking of kids, do you see any kids in your future?" David asked
"Yes, of course!" Robin said "Just I want us to maybe wait a little while more, just till we get things finalized with our wedding and all. I don't want her to stress out too much, you know?" David nodded his head
"How about you two? Expecting any more kids?"
"I don't know about that" David said laughing, David paused for a bit thinking about recent events
"What is it?" Robin asked looking at his friend who had a confused look on his face
"It's nothing, I think"
"What do you mean?"
"I was just thinking, you know recently Snow hasn't been herself. She's had those extreme mood swings lately and she's had some weird cravings. Who mixes brown sugar and sour cream together and dips strawberries in them?" David asked
"That actually doesn't sound bad. But what are you trying to say? You don't think she's pre-" Robin started to say
"No, I mean tonight we planned to, you know." David said emphasizing the "you know" part. "The last time we did that was about a few weeks ago" David said
"Did you use.." Robin hesitated for a second, trying to remember what that blasted rubber thing was called that Regina had introduced him to.
"That rubber thing?" David asked almost reading his mind
"Yes that thing"
"No, we haven't. We both are still slow with this world's technology"
"I see" Robin said rubbing his chin "Well if she is, congratulations" Robin said patting his friend on the back
David sighed, "Thanks"
"How are you going to bring this up?" Robin asked
"I have no idea, maybe tonight when we get home" David replied
"Good luck mate"
"Thank you" David said looking down, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone "It's been about half an hour, should I text or call Mary-Margret?"
"Text, just to be safe. She might be in a worsened mood"
"Good idea"
The food is almost ready, are you ladies okay?
David reread the text, making sure it wouldn't add to his wife's already grumpy self, once satisfied he sent it, the phone dinged a few seconds later.
On our way.
