Okay so like I said, three day updates from now on. Yay! So my update on Wednesday may be a bit later at night because I have an out of town appointment but it will be updated in three days. Okay, so the prophecy that I mentioned in the summary will be in two chapters, and that's all I have to say. So, enjoy!

I woke up immediately, sitting straight up and sucking in deep breaths, looking around in a panic. I don't remember my nightmare but it must have been a bad one because my heart was racing. I swung my legs out of the bed and gripped the sheets tightly as I remembered where I was.

I looked out the window and saw the sun coming up. I slowly stood wincing at the strain on my bad leg, but amazingly it held my weight. I slowly walked down to the bathroom and washed my face, washing the horrors of the nightmare with it. I used the bathroom and then slowly limped to the kitchen. What I saw made me smile.

Percy and Annabeth were cuddling on the couch. I saw Leo hanging off the edge of the couch and Calypso on the floor, but their foreheads were touching and it looked cute. I saw Frank sleeping on the chair and Hazel curled up in his lap, dozing peacefully. Will was curled up on the floor, snoring softly. Then there was Jason underneath the coffee table, his glasses resting on the table. I heard loud snores and looked over to see a big guy by the TV that I hadn't seen last night, I assumed he was Percy's brother Tyson.

I smiled at them and wished I could take a picture but frowned when I realised Piper and Nico were nowhere to be found.

Then I heard noise from the kitchen. I turned and saw Nico pouring himself some cereal and Piper eating an apple. I limped over and smiled kind of shyly. Nico gave me a nod and Piper held out another apple. I thanked her and sat down.

I looked over at Nico.

"I know you." I said softly. "I just don't know where we met."

Nico grabbed the cartoon of milk and started pouring some into his bowl. "We've met." He agreed. "Well, not really properly."

"Is my name really Dianna?" I asked.

"You never told me your name." Nico said, shoving a spoonful of cereal into his mouth.

"I ran away, didn't I?" I asked softly.

Nico considered that for a second, chewing his food. "More like walked away." He said.

I stared at my untouched apple. "It seems like I do that a lot." I said softly.

"Well, you aren't now." Piper said, swallowing a bite of her apple. "Maybe you've changed."

"I thought about running." I mumbled.

"I know that feeling." Nico said. "I used to run from everything."

I looked at Nico. "You were homeless to?"

"Not exactly." Nico said. "I stayed with my dad, I mean he tried but . . . he doesn't really know how to deal with me. What I mean is that I ran away from the people that cared about me." He looked directly at me and my mouth moved without my brain thinking.

"No one cares about me so I have nothing to run from."

Piper and Nico both froze and my eyes widened as I realised what I said and I practically shoved my apple into my mouth to hide my embarrassment.

"That's what I thought to." Nico said. "But I was wrong."

I glared at my apple like it was the source of my amnesia and problems. I chewed slowly to give me time to think of a response. "Why would I run away if people cared about me?" I asked.

"You tell me." Nico said.

"I can't remember!" I said, my voice a harsh whisper. "Stupid amnesia! Stupid leg! It's all so stupid!"

"It'll be okay." Piper said, her voice so soothing I felt compelled to believe her. "You'll remember eventually, just give it some time."

"Time." I murmured, feeling like I was in a trance. My mind was foggy and I barely processed what I was saying. "I've got plenty of that."

"How about we take a stroll through town?" Piper asked. "Maybe it'll help jog your memory."

"Okay." I said, compelled to agree with her. I felt like I'd do whatever she wanted. I took a bite of my apple and studied Piper. Her voice seemed familiar . . . the girl on the couch.

My head pounded and I supressed a groan of pain and frustration. I looked at Piper hopefully. "When do we leave?"

"Whenever you want." Piper said with a small smile.

"Now?" I asked hopefully. I wanted to remember something, my brain felt like one massive puzzle and the more pieces I clicked into place the more I wanted to solve the puzzle.

"I'll stay behind and tell the others where you went." Nico said, in the process of pouring himself some more cereal.

"Thanks." Piper said. "But before we go I'm doing something to your hair."

I groaned and Nico chuckled.

By the time my hair was done almost everyone was up and I learned some new curse words in French, Greek and English. I winced at a particularly nasty one. "Ouch." I said. "What did my hair do to deserve that?"

Piper laughed and flicked me in the face with a strand of my hair.

It'd be nice to say that all of the blood sweat and tears shed over my hair made it beautiful and flawless but in reality we only got most – key word – of the knots out and made it even frizzier.

"I give up." Piper exclaimed after about an hour, huffing and flopping backwards onto Percy's bed.

"Annabeth said it was worse than Percy's hair." I said and Piper groaned.

"Tell me about it."

"So . . . ready for the walk?" I asked.

"Let me change first." Piper said. "You got a change of clothes?"

"Uh . . . I don't think so."

"Hmm. I'll go check on that for you, stay put." She said, heading out of the room and returning five minutes later with an extra pair of clothes. She dumped them on the bed and I changed into them. Plain old jeans and a blue t-shirt, they were a little big but I wasn't complaining.

But before we could leave I had Will fuss over me.

"She's fine Solace." Nico said, chewing on a bagel.

"That's Doctor Solace." He chided, suppressing laughter.

"Haha." Nico said, pointing at Will with his bagel. "Let her go on the walk, doctor's orders."

"Fine." Will said. "But I'm wrapping up your head first."

So I was forced to sit still, constantly scolded by Will for moving, as he wrapped my head up. "I should get you crutches." He muttered. "Don't want you hurting your leg more."

"I'll be fine." I said. "It's just a walk."

"Ready?" Piper asked me.

I looked at Will and raised my eyebrows. "Yeah, she's ready. But no running and don't strain yourself. Take plenty of breaks."

"Yes sir." I said, mock saluting him. He did the mature thing and stuck his tongue out at me. "Ouch." I said, putting my hand on my chest. "That hurts Doctor Solace, there goes your tip."

Nico snorted and Will pouted at me. "That's no way to treat your doctor." He chided.

I got up, anxious to get out of the house and hopefully remember something. "Come on Piper." I whined as she kissed Jason goodbye. "Let's go!"

Piper laughed, pulling away from Jason. "Someone's impatient."

I smiled. "I want to remember." I said. "You said this might jog some of my memories."

Jason smiled. "You want your memories back?"

I shrugged. "I just hate not knowing." I said, shuffling my feet. "I really want to remember my parents and that stuff."

"I hope this trip works out for you." Hazel said, smiling over her cup from the kitchen, her boyfriend still sleeping on the chair.

"Thanks." I said, the déjà vu hitting me. Maybe I met her at the same time as Nico, didn't they say they were half-siblings?

I headed out with Piper, not failing to notice the dagger strapped to her belt. It's for protection. I reminded myself. But I couldn't help but wonder what she was protecting herself against.

. . .

For a while we just walked around aimlessly, we bought ice cream and sat on a bench, eating it and taking a break before I broke the silence.

"You remind me of someone." I said. "I just can't remember who."

Piper smiled softly. "What parts of me?"

"Your voice." I said. "It's just like hers was, so . . . compelling."

Piper blinked, surprised and thoughtful. "Was she Asian?" She asked hesitantly.

"It wasn't Frank." I said with a frown, making Piper laugh. She dropped her ice cream on accident and my hand flashed out, catching it before it fell two feet. I offered it to her and she looked mildly surprised. "And no, she wasn't Asian, I'm pretty sure at least."

Piper nodded, looking thoughtful. We got up and walked around, Piper talking about random things about the city and the places where she'd been surfing. I was about to ask her what surfing was when something caught my eye and I stopped. Piper walked for another few steps before noticing.

"You remember something?" She asked.

"Yeah." I said softly. "That's where I live."

Piper walked over to me and looked into the alley, a box had blown over in the storm and the tarp was draped over a few things. I slowly walked forwards, Piper following me slowly. I picked up the tarp and saw a cot missing a leg, some clothes and some school books, the books in the process of drying.

"Oops." I muttered, looking at my school books.

"Do you know how long you lived here?" Piper asked.

I shook my head, sitting down and gazing at my stuff. Piper walked forwards and picked up a backpack. "Looks like Annabeth's." She commented.

"I think it is." I murmured, my head pounding. I picked up my slightly soggy Biology book and stared at it. It was the only exam I could remember writing. I opened the book to see if I had signed my name but there was no writing.

"Do you like Biology?" Piper asked.

"It's my best subject." I admitted, then I grinned sheepishly. "Was. I got my first D- in that class."

Piper laughed and I looked at the books. "My teachers going to kill me." I muttered.

"It doesn't say what school." She muttered, studying my math book.

We stayed there for a while, going through my belongings to try and find something to jog my memory. It helped me remember more recent ones but nothing that really helped.

We decided to head back, figuring the others would be wondering what's taking so long. But halfway back I felt like someone was staring at us. I looked over my shoulder and saw someone looking at Piper with what looked like a hungry glint in their eyes.

"Piper." I said softly. "I think you have a stalker."

Piper glanced at me with a small frown. "Are you serious?" She asked.

I looked over my shoulder again and sure enough he was following us, or Piper. "Yea." I said. "He's following you." I took a deep breath to calm my nerves and frowned. "Huh." I looked at Piper. "He smells weird."

"How can you know what he smells like?" Piper asked.

"I don't know." I said. "But . . . he's making me uncomfortable."

That was the understatement of the year, he actually scared me so badly I was shaking and my heart was racing in my chest. I realised I knew him, and I knew it wasn't a good memory.

"Piper I'm scared." I whispered.

She looked at me. "Why?" She asked softly.

"I – I feel like I know him." I whispered. "And . . . and it wasn't a good meeting."

Piper frowned and looked around. "Let's cut through the park, Percy's apartment is close. A few blocks away from the other side of the park." She murmured.

"Okay." I whispered, supressing the urge to run away. We headed to the park and I looked over my shoulder to see a grin spreading over the man's face. I forced myself to look higher and gasped as I saw his blood-red eyes.

I don't know how I knew but it hit me in an instant, I froze and my hand lashed out and gripped Piper's arm. "Trap." I hissed, but it was too late. About four people in the park turned to face us, smiling maliciously with their glowing red eyes. I spun around and saw the man grinning at me, walking towards us with two more men with glowing red eyes flanking him.

We were surrounded.

Duh, duh, duh. So, once again sorry if the cannon characters are OOC. So, the next chapter will be a long one because I combined two chapters together so the story wouldn't drag. So yeah, see ya in three days! :)
