The ship moved and heaved as the ocean gently guided it across. He looked at her eyes as the morning light came upon the window and engulfed the room. It has been an hour, an hour of just watching each others eyes and not believing their words just earlier. She would never imagine the shock and the disbelief he has in his mind that a person like her caliber, her beauty and kindness could ever fell for a person like himself. He felt her fingers make circles on his shoulder, just a simple touch of her skin made him his mind fuel with arousal. But yet he knows he is not in the position to touch her...yet, and he would accept that because he can wait, for her. By his own angst he bed many women before her in order to sate his suffering to help him forget and live on through the pleasures of wine and lust. The feeling is great...but the feeling he felt back then is but a dust to what he is feeling right now. He felt complete and compelled.
Watching her turn, letting her beautiful backside be exposed to his eyes. She felt so enticing, so seductive, as her image was just urging him on. The priestess sat up at the edge of the bed, the covers of the blanket partially covering the lower side of her back, as the upper half was exposed, only to be shielded by the clothing of her back. But yet how the side of her shirt dangles down from her shoulders urged Galvane on to sat up and crawl, then slowly wrapping his arms around her shoulders as his nose neared to her ear, and then with small kisses that trailed down to her neck. Watching that lips of hers curl in acceptance of his affections.
It felt different now, now that she had confessed to him. Different and foreign it seems yet she could categorize it as familiar somehow even if you struggle to see the logic to combine all three. She loved it so much that she can't help but felt that knowing the type of mate that she had chosen. She knew it wasn't from her own race, her lover, he is from a race that spanned young. "You know...I can't help but feel that..." She started, her lips that was once curled to a smile now curls to a frown started to think how it would all affect her in the future. She may have children with him yes if she decide to go on with it. But she'll know she would, if she had doubts now she would have found someone long before him. But for long she pressed that thought deep in the bowels of her consciousness as she slowly added carefully in her words. "That-"
"You made a mistake on loving a human?" Galvane added for her. He knew what she would say. When he mentioned it to her last night on what she is doing by confessing to him, admitting that she would love a human like him that had different skin color, different ideologies, different life spans, he knew sooner or later she would open it up for that.
She shook her head. She knew what he means, but not by what she had thought about. She's afraid on the unknown after him. "I know what you mean, but it isn't what I have I thought in mind..." She told softly, her head turning responding to his kisses. "I'm just afraid that...by choosing you I am susceptible to a life of widow hood while I'm still young, while I'm at the prime of my life..." She pressed, her eyes avoiding his somewhat. She was expecting that he would wrap his arms even tighter around herself to whisper sweet promises of how for his short lifespan he would pour it all to her, but all she felt is that his arms released her shoulders, exposing it to the cold air.
That's how he felt for her also, that's what he was afraid for her. When he grows old, he would be sinning by leaving her alone against the world. Galvane doesn't want that, HE doesn't want that. He wants her to be happy, to be complete, loved, provided and especially be sided with til age finally caught up for her. That's what he want for her. He flared his nose as he sat on the opposite side of the bed, their backs facing each others as Galvane looked at the window ahead, watching the calm waves as he put his words together and determines how true it is. "Nilsha, I want you to love someone else other than me..." He painfully started, his lower lips wedged between the upper and lower parts of his mouth. Oh what courage it took for him to admit that he would be in adequate for her life. "I won't be long compared to your lifetime, knowing-"
"No Galvane-I won't, there is a reason that I chose you compared to the men that have come before." She replied, turning, crawling towards him. His back still turned against her.
"But I want you to be happy-" She cuts him off.
This time it was him that felt her arms wrap around his body, immediately burying her face on to the back of his neck. Her lips trembled. "So why are you saying that?!" She immediately silenced him with her shock. Nilsha then forced him to face her as she turned on to his front, her voice trembled in dismay and yet in pure passion. "Just because I'm afraid Galvane doesn't mean I can't take it! It doesn't mean that I'm not able to go through with it, and it doesn't mean I feel that I would be left out! It doesn't mean that I would not be happy for all the the things that we could possibly in our limited time together." Nilsha held out. Her grip tightens. Her eyes perforated on him as her words slashed through his ears to express her reasons. "Is it because their words?! Or are you just too afraid to share your pain with me?!" She shouted in whisper, her emotions pouring through as tears started to stream down her cheeks. She held out her hand as it touched his cheeks, her demeanor becomes softer and softer, just as her voice softens. "I love you because of who you are, whatever that you may lack, your life span, or whatever the relates of our natural life does it matter? If it matters, I would found someone long before you but the fact that I didn't and have to find it in a human who considered himself beyond redemption speaks volume to what reality sets in, to you...to us..." Nilsha then wavered her hand when she found him unresponsive, it felt like it shattered her heart while the debris lay on the floor as a thousand shards, it pained her as if giving her up or not accepting what she says. If he chooses, then she can only accept that perhaps...perhaps they may not be.
Her words shook the human to his core. Is it true? He asked himself, that she would love him despite all the things that he had done? They are so different Him and Her, where he's human, she's a kal'dorei, he's a priestess and at this point, him a mercenary, and she having friends and family while he is a man built to be a lone wolf in the last seven years of his life. He was ashamed to be with her because of how much he lack to give for her, he doesn't have a family for her to meet, or to take pride on to something to boast and impress her but yet she abolished that reason. The only thing he could could do his hung his head and then slowly wrap his arms around her. Her sudden change of demeanor when he said that he wanted her to find someone else took him out from his thoughts about his own inadequacy. It's not him that decide what she does, she loved him, and he loved her even if the time spent, just half a year was small, small for her but to him it was like years, years of knowing who she is to which he tried to blind himself, to deny the feeling that perhaps his sinful self that have yet to found judgement has redemption, redemption to start anew, and to start it with her.
He looked into her eyes when he felt her retract her hand, her eyes averting his, as if she began to let go of him... it rendered him helpless, and afraid when her touch began to disappear, and without though he then suddenly took her hand and wrapped his arm around her, and to find himself be enriched by the taste of her lips. He felt her hands stir as it moved from her sides and to slide on around his neck, accepting his kiss, her kiss that filled his mind with hopes and dreams that he might be able to scavenge. His arms held her, held her smaller frame against his as he pushed her against the smooth wooden walls, and soon his left hand wondered down from her waist all the way down to the sole of her rear, hearing her gasp in surprise. He pulled away and looked at her seamlessly. watching her eyes reflect his. He swallowed every detail of her beautiful face, the way her lips trembled, the way the air shook the lashes of her eyes. He paused as if waiting for her reply to what he did.
She found herself not moving, shocked. The kiss was different from last night. It was so MUCH MORE different. The priestess could only look up when he pulled away, her eyes staring back at him as his shadow cast upon her. She felt small in his presence, protected even as it should. His bigger frame sizing against her made her knees heavy. The moment his hands went on to wrap her against under his embrace and moved her towards the bed ignited something inside of her. Nilsha had never been touched before, that is obvious, everything was foreign for her, he caress, the way he kissed her lips, her neck and her shoulders and the way he groped her body, everything was a new experience for her as she laid on the bed, watching every move he makes.
He then stopped. All he did after was just kneel beside her, not knowing what to do next but to ask her a question. "Nilsha do you want to do this? Or do you want to wait?"
Nilsha smiles. She loved him even more now knowing how he wanted to make sure their relationship grows even further before committing to something as intimate as sex. Sometimes she could imagine a scenario where her love life would be like a garden, a very fertile garden whose fertility had just started and to be come stronger and stronger till it sprouts fruits of labor. This is how she sees it now, even if it is just the very first day of it unfolding till it opens more and more of the unknown, but her confidence knew no bounds to it just as how she now sees him as an important factor of her life.
With a soft nod their activities end. It though it didn't bode well for the human warrior on how sexual frustration builds up hard on him considering what kind of man he was before, he nonetheless respected her decision and for her he will always. "Um, Nilsha when we do it, well...I know its stupid to ask considering you're a priestess, but I will be your first am I right?" He sought, and then could her a chuckle from her.
"Why, feeling insecure? But yes, when that time comes I will be your first Galvane." She replied as she stood up, her hands on her hips. "I see that you are insecure, why? I see that you are just feigning ignorance just for the sake of asking that question I would assume." Nilsha stated.
With a deep sign and with a lush of embarrassment inside his words he answered. "Well because...you wouldn't be my first and It would seem that-I can't give that like you would give me your first."
She went quiet, but yet her lips were already curled into a smile, looking right back at him, her fingers touched her lips. "I know from the start you are not Galvane, I read people and met people like you, drunk and careless, I know that a part of you I would never be able to get to considering you have copulated with other people before me-" She then slowly and seductively walk up to him, bringing her hands on his cheeks, making him follow her eyes and it stared deeply on to him. Leaning down her lips closed in with his, and with a light kiss on his lips she answered. "But why would I linger or seek the small part of you when I can have the rest of you under my embrace?" She pulled away just as Galvane was about to try to reply her kiss, for him only to taste air. Nilsha turned her back at him, yet slightly turning her head on to the human, another seductive smile showed on the corner and she walked towards the bathroom, her hips slowly swaying back n' forth. Then she stopped just as she opened the door, sensing how he was still stunned, and seduced by just looking at her.
Oh how he could feel that arousal building not just in his loins but the rest of his body. Never was a time did he felt this much arousal. It was not just the fiery lust that he had felt before, but it was combined with lust, love, longing, or any other descriptive words relating to intimacy. Especially how he watched her sway her hips, enticing him to go after her, but he knew he CAN'T. He only sat frozen as she stood there out of reach, opening the door before stopping, slightly turning her head to her side for her eyes to look back at him.
With her signature smile she spoke. "I'll just take a smooth bath..." Her words penetrated the warrior's ears like a spear to a gap, then having to force himself not to stand up and follow her. "And I'll have to rub oil all over my body." His nose flared as he took a deep breath through his nostrils when she heard her say such a thing. He could only grit his teeth as her seductive tease boggled his mind knowing she can just have her way on him with small words and sentences.
"It's for my skin regimen." She then closes the door.
He could only resist too much on not wanting to just be hell with it and touch himself to climax. "I'm an adult, I should be past that." He told himself. True to what he is saying, he resisted and waited her out for his turn.
He wasn't too eager to go outside the room. She was the one bringing food on to the room since the departure for the sake of not getting heated with the other passenger of the board that weren't too eager to meet a human passenger like himself, and that certain passenger who once fooled them into thinking the night elf companion was his mate or girlfriend for now in that matter so that he may climb on board, but now it turned out to be true. He turned his head as he straightened up his arm for her to wrap the bandages up, having to clean it made the wound sore once more as the skin already began to harden to form some scabs around the arms and body but not to his face, it was rather still pinkish and raw which he find it hurting now that it is watered up. Usually once the bandage wraps around him it no longer hurts to the point he can move around to his liking.
"They won't bother you once I'm around Galvane." Nilsha chuckled as she finished the last bandages up to his neck. She no longer bandages his face considering it is hard to wrap around him without it interrupting his breathing, and two, it is stable enough to be exposed raw, though his skin began to harden to a flake and had began to darken, it is a sign of progress in healing but it won't be so great looking at his face.
Galvane on the other hand just kept on giving a disappointing sigh whenever possible to express his dismay that he had to go out. He had handled the members of her race, even to the point sharing their own barracks but there was always other members of his own race with him to have at least someone to feel not left out so much, but his current situation on the other hand was all too different. "I'm just unsure considering how they would with this..." He motioned to himself on her, pointing to their new found relationship."Like the others they don't take it too kindly and would spread around of talks of us."
She then continued on, putting on her sandals, she wore the same standard casual clothing, it was the ones Ereera gave them. "I knew the risks, we won't hide it forever considering these people around got the word out when I listed you as my mate in order to get in the boat. Might as well just reveal it in public and not think about it that much." Nilsha replied as she took a silk t-shirt from the bag and motioned Galvane to stand up, he did and she gently puts it on him to avoid tampering his wounds. "And it would be at least relieving that I won't have to go outside alone to bring food secretly." She told. And yes, she was unnerved somewhat when she goes outside to bring food, mostly none would garner their stares on her but some would, their judgmental eyes cast on her knowing that she sleep in the same room with a human, a very large sin to Kal'dorei society and some, the males of her race would just look at her with interest in their eyes on the chances of her being their mate, which their opportunities have passed away.
Galvane followed as Nilsha motioned to the door where she was leading. And as always once more he was unsettled going outside for being the only non Night Elven passenger on board. And at almost seven feet tall he stand out in the crowd. As he tread in the hall way he was already feeling the sweat down on his neck. Galvane, for all his exploits in wars, was terrified for being out of place like a child in an orphanage, Nilsha could only look back as she stopped for a moment to stay close to him, with a chuckle at the end of it. But then just as she did that, the other eyes of the Kal'dorei were on them, stares from different colored eyes were showing like it is. "Just don't bother with them Galvane and they won't bother us, let them judge." Nilsha told him softly.
There were about to take a seat on a table at the very edge of the room, the farthest for the sake of creating the least amount of controversy, but trouble somewhat catches up to them when two night elves, both men purposely sped up to take the table just to bother them. Galvane wasn't going to lose a step for the table as he forwarded his arm to block them.
He looked back at them as they straighten up to glare at him. "What the hell is your problem human?" One of the night elf asked obvious sarcastic feigning anger in his voice just to irritate them. He looked on to his companion who had a smirk on his face as they both were sizing the only human in the board. "And? What? Would you now move on from OUR table?" He emphasized the OUR purposely.
Galvane raised his brow. "Yours? I saw you two not taking two other vacant table in the middle that you were just about to take it, but rather continued forth here wen you saw me and her walk towards it to take it just to irritate us." Galvane accused, despite his skin injuries he wasn't about to let these two bully them away just to irritate them and ridicule them for having such relationship.
The two slightly tilt their heads and then smiled at the Night Elf woman who in return replied with a narrowed eye brows and crossed arms. Then they looked back at Galvane, looking at him not in the eyes but rather the state of his skin, which was crusting because of the healing of the wound, and it wasn't a sight to be hold and in fact it let the two crept an insult as they directed their attention to the Kal'dorei partner of Galvane. "On, Ana dura Anad'ulafon Kal'dprei duna bantallas sor the humano'dore esh'nu falanor azse darome? (Why would a beautiful Kal'dorei like you end up with a human mongrel with flaking skin?)" One of them started in their native tongue, causing Galvane completely blanked out from their conversation with Nilsha but he wasn't liking it.
She crossed her arms as an opening arises for her to hit back. "Ena'na farna'lasha fen, nanu' riso Fal'nei nor osa de'lu mas anera. Al'shar ne dor'ana ana'dal delas. Shano shari' Kal'do men'as . Tur'mush rishi shar belor ana'dal' edela's ma'alas dath, asto're ne adal menas demo're alore "Fal'nei" nara ala?" ( Maybe because he is more of a male than you boys ever were. While he gives hard work to court me and woo me with his charms and whatever he has, you too are too busy having problems of other people's mate. And why would I ever give interest on "boys" like you?") She replied back in her own native language also, her lips curled as her words struck them, emphasizing the word "boys" strongly to demean them. While as hurtful as her words was it only served to anger both the male Kal'dorei, going as far as to shove back Galvane when he turned back his anger on to the on the human.
Galvane shoved back, and all eyes were on them once more. Despite the wounds of his skin hurting once more because of it being tampered with, it seem to not bother him and readied himself to come to blows with them two.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!" A strong voice in the elves language shattered the almost started brawl. He walked up to them, standing tall, taller than Galvane. It was none other than the captain himself, evident from the patch of his eye. Looking at the couple then back at the elven males. His face then turned to a sneer. "My crewmen and guests preparing to brawl. This is my ship, there no brawling under my command!" The captain stated, his face were strong yet there was obvious composure.
"Captain, we were just trying to take a seat but then these two minglers-" One of the Ka'ldorei crew member began, but then when he mentioned the word "minglers" he knew now that they were bothering them because of the fact that these two where together. Stomping his foot down both of them immediately went silent.
The captain shook his head. "I would have had believe you if they were actually bothering. But to lie in my face is something I can't just ignore, both of you my crewman. Truly I would have believed you had you not said "minglers" which derogates the status of our guests." He sharply said to them, his eyes narrowing down with such a commanding aura. He cleared his throat, truly burying his rank of captain towards his crewmen. "Now, I want both of you to wash the deck, or else I'll have you both thrown overboard am I clear?" He commanded, his tone wasn't endearing that was for sure. With a nod on their heads they walked over, their heads hang low in defeat.
"They have the audacity to commit a scandal under my ship." The captain remarked. But just as he was about to walk away Galvane and Nilsha quickly called him.
"Wait, captain, with you please share a meal with us? It would be appreciated considering you have helped us form a lot of trouble with those men." Nilsha offered. She and Galvane sat down on the table, having another free seat in for the captain. The captain smiled and accepted the offer, the way he sat was seriously something that most captain's would do, the the back of the chair in his front, leaning to the back rest. "What do you want captain? It is going to be nice meal for us."
He waved his hand. "Ney, I just want a nice cold beverage. Something like a fine beer would suffice." He requested, looking at her with a nod before long his eyes shifted to Galvane who sat quietly. "Hmmm you look lively today young man. Something changed since the first time you aboard this ship." The captain reached out and offered him his hand, in which he took it and gave a soft shake.
Galvane noticed Nilsha already ordered without them them having to notice because of their greets as she sat down beside him once more, as a waitress followed her, putting down their food and beverages and a nice cold beer for the captain. "Yep, a bit, just feeling out the nice air of the ocean in this fine morning." He told him, as he started to eat himself, to which Nilsha elbowed him on the shoulder, causing him to slightly wince in pain as Nilsha gestured him to pray first, to which Galvane had to rub the back of his head, he wasn't fond of praying in front of other strangers but he had no choice, and with some small uttered words he finished his prayer.
The captain let out a chuckle. "Oh I really love young mates and their lovely banters. How long have you been together?" He asked them, and with a sip of his beer it doesn't take long for him to raise eyebrows when he saw them looking at each other with weary and nervous eyes. "Well? How long for you two?" He repeated, his demeanor didn't change not one bit, just a bit curious, but then on the other hand his questions were really too much for the couple considering they had to lie.
"Umm well captain you see..." She mumbled, unable to find her words to explain, or at least to LIE about their relationship. "Umm, well captain, forgive us for doing this but he was never my mate back then three days ago when we board the ship so that I he may come with me to Darnassus for the time being...it's just that-"
The captain waved her off. "Well you didn't really break the rules, you are mates now and there wasn't any rule in the ship that you have to make your relations official right?" He winked at both of them, chuckling. He look back to Galvane and looked unto Nilsha, somewhat comparing their faces. "A young human, you got a fine catch? Silver hair and amber eyes, what a combination, reminding me back then when I was as young as you two millenia's ago." He told them, sipping in the beer once more. His words were really indeed a bit rough, that there was some age on the captain. He continued to tell about how he did ended up as a captain and where his fiand one thing made was clear when the captain revealed to Galvane that he wasn't fond towards other races just years ago, when the first humans and orcs camghts happened e. He was just like most, angry and distrusting to lesser races and have some sort of mission to defeat them but that all changed when he rode the seas with his squadron and met an undead fleet. Out numbered of ten to one ship it was all too easy for them to be captured to which most of his crew were savagely murdered, until they were saved by an another fleet, a combination of orcish and human fleet to which it destroyed the undead fleet completely, to which they were found then. He told that he thought they were about to be executed, but when the opposite faction showed mercy and gifted them a free hand, a few weapons and a small boat to reach ashore on Ashenvale everything about his view on other races changed, he now respected them and saw them now as his equal.
"And that ticketer that let you in quite easily? He was part of my crew, and he is the only crew I have left originally that still sails with me." The captain chuckled as he lifted up his beer in gesture of good will.
Galvane then raised. "What about the others?" He asked, he himself raised up his glass towards the captain in good gesture.
The captain gripped his chin, looking at his beer with a narrwed brow trying to remember. "I think I remembered that they stopped sailing in favor for druidism or just plain stopped sailing for a more peaceful and quiet life with their mates." He replied before adding an another statement. "Eh, can't blame them when they almost got cut open by the dead ey, my mate is hounding me to come home while my sons and daughters which were now grown wait for me to accompany their mother and retire down?" He then chuckled to himself, at the thought of finally retiring like his other crew members. After a few moments he stopped laughing to himself and thought about revealing more about what his life is, but he thought against it and just looked at them both. "So I guess I'm finished on telling who I am, how about you too? Any interest in life? Children hmm?" He asked.
Him mentioning about children struck a chord on both Galvane and Nilsha's head. Galvane somewhat looked at her with a raised brow and an unsure expression on what to answer. Nilsha looked at the captain and just answered for both of them. "Aaah...well, we're not really thinking much about children captain since we're just came to be together-I mean I would truly, that's always been what I would do-but, it's just not yet...not yet." She replied, truly emphasizing on that "not yet."
The captain nodded in agreement. "True, true though, growing the relationship out before committing as such." He told before gripping his chin once more, he was focused on Galvane's face, his scars and his overall physical structure. He really have that obvious look of a veteran warrior that fought many battles. "How old are you boy?" He asked Galvane, his brows were narrowed upwards.
"Twenty-eight." He replied.
"Hmm you are at your prime age if I am correct on human years, though it seems you're very much a veteran in your look." The captain noted. The captain was about to say something else but he retracted from it and rather just waved it off. "Hmm I guess this is a nice talk ey for you two?" Remarked the captain as he stood up, looking back to them as he nodded in respect. "I thank you for this fine gesture of goodness by giving me some sweet beverage. Thank you..." He trailed off when he emphasized in his voice about their names.
"Galvane Hilt." Galvane pointed to himself. "Nilsha Moonlit." Nilsha then pointed unto herself. Galvane stood up and shook his hand before watching the captain leave, wishing them good luck and assuring that they will not be harassed by other passengers and crew members. Nilsha looked at Galvane, chuckling as they both enjoyed the rest of their food without disturbance.
Later at midnight...
A lot of kisses that's what they could describe the rest of their day spent. A lot of kisses inside their room ALONE to which a large bed for them to softly lay with each other's hands, but just not yet stepping through the boundaries where they consummate and officially become one truly, no not yet it seems for both of them. Let it grow, let it grow softly and steadily till they would. Spend the rest of their day inside the room kissing each other, knowing each other, telling stories of one another, though it seems Galvane wasn't yet ready to reveal everything to her yet, somewhat Nilsha knowing deep inside that Galvane still has something she doesn't know but she respects such decision but until then there are many things for them to explore.
Especially now in this dead of night, beautiful and silent as Galvane gently combed her hair over to her ear, while her eyes were closed as she lay in the bed with him, but his were never closed, not once. Doing nothing except combing her hair and staring that her beautiful face. It brought a smile unto her lips, feeling his calloused hands unto her soft skin, rough in the surface but very gentle overall. "Galvane why aren't you not yet asleep? It's in the dead of night..." She told him, still not yet opening her eyes, putting her hand close to her chest as Galvane adjusted the blanket and putting it over her shoulder.
"It's because you're too beautiful for me to close my eyes." He answered back, chuckling, though there were playfulness in his response, his reply was indeed his reason to not yet sleep. Such a beautiful face shined by the moonlight was clear, it was a drug that stopped him from sleeping.
She decided to finally open her eyes. "Are you sure? Or maybe the captain's words about children strikes out in your mind." Nilsha teased and it was quite a surprise that she was willing to brought out such an intimate subject.
Galvane smiled. "I would like to be blunt Nilsha but I would want to stay clear from such." He said to her, resuming her strokes. But to the night elf she wasn't having any of it. "Oh hush Galvane just tell me." She said, leaning, giving a small kiss on his lips she said, truly trying to take out his words that were left in his mouth. With a small chuckle Galvane surrendered. "Oh truly I'm raging inside right now at the touch of touching you Nilsha and to have everything with you including-" He said before leaning to her, taking her arm as she placed it on the side of his head. "But I want to make this work out for us where everything is steady where we don't rush in and I want to make sure if does happen it is with you..." He softly told her as he felt his eyes' weight, the lids of his eyes struggling to be put up.
"Then lets move together...steadily." Nilsha whispered as they both closed their eyes under the night. But not before Galvane makes a final remark. "You are so beautiful."
