How many days has it been since I was brought here...? Serena thought to herself as she laid in bed; wakening only a few minutes before as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. As the days wore on it grew harder and harder to keep count. Serena pushed herself into a sitting position and looked around, eyes half closed; sleep slowly fading away. She couldn't help but let her mind fill with questions that she had held at bay. Will I ever be able to go back home...? The thought made her mood shift and tears prickled her eyes as she long for home; missing her mother greatly. The thought of her mother alone up on the moon made a few tears escape from her eyes; a feeling that she would never see her mother again, but she quickly dashed them away. No, you can't think like that! I'll see mother again... That man can't keep me prisoner forever, right? She wondered to herself. That was when she knew it was time to find her 'host' and demand some answers. Serena threw the blankets off and climbed from the bed quickly and stripped off her nightgown and grabbed one of the many gowns that had been gifted(?) to her.

"Well at least I have learned something while down here," She muttered to herself as she dressed. "dressing myself without an aid is quite exhilarating." She said, giggling softly. The gown was of a silky material; pale pink in color and embroider with pearls and small diamonds. It was beautiful and fit her body like a glove; almost as if it was made her. Serena shook her head as the thought to her was absurd she was fully dressed she left her room in search of...something? Someone? She didn't really know, but what she did know was that she was quite tired of being by herself and wanted to find some sort of company. Should it be a earthling, animal, or beast she didn't really care at that moment. She just wanted to talk to someone that didn't look like they wanted to slit her throat while she slept. Serena walked through the halls with no general direction in mind, just wandering aimlessly. When she was sure she had gotten herself lost did she really start to panic, but only a little. She still didn't think her 'host' would harm her for exploring his home. I mean he can't think that I would stay in that suffocating room forever, right...? She wondered to herself, but then thought better about it.

"I probably need to try and find my way back," She said stopping short and turning on her heels, but then it hit her like a bolt of lightning; that she was lost in this seemingly massive manor. "well damn..." She said with a nervous little chuckle. The Princess took in a deep breath and then walked over and just leaned her back against the wall and waited for what she did not know. How long had she stood there...? Serena did not know, but it felt like forever.

"What do I do...?" She wondered to herself and then looked from the right and left, but there wasn't a soul in sight. A nervous panic washed over her and she shuffled from foot to foot; scolding herself for not thinking this through further. What would happen if she was found wandering around by herself...? Would her host think her trying to find a way to escape and lock her up again...? Serena shook her head and slapped her hands to her face to pull herself from her depressing thoughts. To late to be thinking that now you silly girl. She thought to herself and then let her hands fall down to her sides and then took in a deep breath, letting it out slowly.

"Well all I can do is to wander around until I see something familiar..." She muttered to herself and then gave herself a encouraging little nod. Serena remembered coming from the right so she decided to go left this time around; hopefully running into someone familiar with the layout of this massive manor. Serena didn't know how long she walked the halls for until finally she thought she heard the sound of voices down the hall. The Princess let out a sigh of relief and she quickly picked up her pace as the voices grew and she could make out some words that were being said.

"-hope she hasn't been to much trouble for you, Edward." The voice said, muffled. Serena thought the voice sounded familiar, but it didn't strike her at that moment in time as a voice that she knew; maybe even disliked. A door opened from down the hall and the master of the house stepped out which made Serena stop in her tracks and just blankly stare forward. My luck can't be this bad, right...? She thought to herself as she blinked her eyes thinking that she was seeing things, but it was in fact her gracious host standing about a dozen feet down the hall from her. It took only a few seconds for Endymion to spot her; his gaze shifting to his right, catching sight of her and a look of surprise coming over his face. Endymion slowly smiled at her and raised his hand to wave her over, but she had around spun around and started to run in the opposite direction.

"Princess what- hey!" He called out rather surprised at her sudden retreat, but as soon as she started to run away he watched her trip over her own two feet and fall face first; hitting the ground with a thud. Before he knew it he was standing beside her and he was on his knees; hands hovering over her afraid to touch her if she was seriously injured and he didn't want to make it any worse.

"Are you all right!?" He asked breathlessly; the feeling strange because it had been so long since he had felt this worried for anyone... The accident that caused Serena to lose her memories flashed through his mind and he couldn't help but curse silently; having never wished to remember that time for the rest of his life. Serena let out a groan as pain flashed through her body, namely her face, and she started to push herself up, but it was taking her far longer then she would have liked.

"Yes, I'm fine," She said as she struggled to move; her body screaming. "just extremely embarrassed." She muttered more to herself, not really wanting him to know this little fact because he probably hold it over her head for as long as she was here... Endymion shook his head and then moved to help her up; grasping her around the arms and pulled her up to her feet with ease.

"Don't be," He said softly as he didn't want to scare her off and have to see her fall again if she went to run from him again. "that was a pretty nasty fall you had there..." He said and went about dusting her off, but stopped as her body went rigid. He slowly pulled his hands away and balled his hands into fists at his side and cleared his throat.

"Yes, I suppose it was, but I'm fine so you shall not have to worry about me." Serena said as she let her body relax and dust herself off. The surprise of him worrying about her slowly left her and she was able to process her thoughts once again.

"I'm glad I ran into someone," She said, hoping he wouldn't take that wrong way. She wasn't happy she ran into him of all people, not at all. "I got lost as I was exploring..." She said; simply leaving it at that. Endymion couldn't help but chuckle and releasing his hands from the forms of fists.

"Oh did you now," He said and then crossed his arms over his chest and gave her a suspicious look. "are you sure you weren't trying to escape...?" He asked playfully; thinking her words didn't hold any merit. Serena felt her temper flare up and she glared at him softly; not caring for his attitude towards her.

"Listen here if I said that I got lost," She said with a huff. "I got lost!" She said. Endymion's eyes grew wide with surprise, but the look quickly changed to humor and he couldn't help but laugh at her. My, my I don't remember the Princess to be this adorable... He thought to himself and then he opened his mouth to say something back to her, but she had taken that time to walk forward and leaving him behind, speechless. Endymion blinked and then he couldn't help but burst out laughing, the thought of how disrespectful she was being towards him left him strangely happy and beside himself.

"Master shall I go and talk with the Princess," Edward said as he walked up to the Prince, but the Prince merely shook his head. "but-" Endymion shook his head again and then turned to the elderly man and grasped him by his bony shoulders.

"I appreciate your worry," He said. "but this is something I must do by myself. I will not except any interference from anyone..." He said and gave Edward's shoulders a squeeze and then gave them both a pat, almost trying to reassure the old man, and then pulled his hands away and clasped his hands behind his back and turned and walked down the hall in the direction which the Princess took. I best follow after her just in case she gets lost again... He thought, a soft chuckle escaping him. One thing was certain he was more entertained with the Princess here then he had been in a very long time...

Serena's pride, and the embarrassment of her ungraceful fall, started to dwindle as the walked through the halls; nothing screaming out to her as familiar. "Dammit and here I thought I finally found my way..." She muttered to herself thinking that she thought she saw something that struck her, but that was no the case it seems... She let out a groan as the pain in her legs and feet started to give a dull throb of pain and she really just wanted to find a place to sit down and rest her aching feet. She could feel little painful bumps start to form on the balls of her feet and on her side of both her baby toes. These shoes were not made for long walks about it seems... She thought to herself as she hobbled over and leaned against the wall for support. Serena would then pull the skirt of her dress up to get better accuse to remove her shoes when she heard a soft chuckle not far behind her.

"Well isn't that a sight..." Endymion said as he had caught sight of her exposed leg. Serena jumped, dropping her skirt and then smoothed it out; face red and hot. How long has he been following me...? She wondered to herself and she gritted her teeth in anger. I wish he would just leave me alone! I mean is that to much to ask...?! She thought, silently cursing him for nearly giving her a heart attack. Serena squared her shoulders and then turned and gave him a hard glare.

"Why are you here?!" She asked in a snippy tone. Endymion raised a eyebrow, but the smirk was still plastered all over his face. He pushed himself forward, walking over to her, looking her up and down.

"I live here," He said. "I go where I please." He said simply and then glanced down at the hem of her dress and in a quick motion she was up in his arms. She let out a gasp and slapped a hand on his shoulder.

"How dare you," She said. "put me down this instant!" She said. Endymion laughed softly and then shrugged.

"All right, fine." He said and then went about to drop her, but he didn't get to that point because, before they both knew it, Serena had snaked her arms around his neck and she gasped.

"Don't you dare drop me!" She said and then gasped, realizing what had just left her mouth and face turning even more red then before. She turned her gaze away so he couldn't be able to see her blushing face. Endymion blinked in surprise and then let out a hardy laugh.

"Well all right," He said with a sigh. "since you asked so 'nicely', I won't drop you." He said, tightening his hold on her and pulling her closer. Serena felt herself gasp at the feeling of being held so close; it confusing to her. Why does it feel so nice to be held in his arms...? She thought to herself. They soon started to walk a short distance down the hall and they were soon at a 4-way intersection of the corridor. Endymion didn't stop and took a quick right and walked down the corridor and soon they would reach a 2-way split.

"Which way would you pick?" He asked randomly; the question taking Serena by surprise. She blinked and then looked left to right, taking a few moments to think, but her mind came up blank.

"I don't know," She said, the closeness of the two making her mind jumbled and not at able to process a rational thought. "both ways seem the same to me..." She said mostly under her breath, but he didn't have a difficult time hearing her. Endymion shook his head and let out a sigh.

"No wonder you got lost so easily..." He said and then turned left and smirked when Serena scoffed at him.

"Well since its the first time I was able to leave my room since I was brought here..." She said, but didn't continue further for she didn't think she had to. He knows full well that anyone could get lost in a place that one isn't familiar with... She thought to herself. Endymion lip gave a slight quirk, but he cleared his throat and his expression was impassive. They walked for awhile more, and in that time Serena couldn't stop the thoughts from tumbling through her mind; why was she here, would she ever be able to go home again, and what did this man have planned for her...? Endymion had been able to stop from reading her mind, but the sudden assault of her thoughts had bypass the mental shield he had build around his mind, but he stayed composed; his expression blank as a painters canvas. They would finally reach the door that lead into Serena's room. Serena felt a wave of happiness and sadness(?) that they had finally arrived and she would be able to rest her feet.

"We've arrived, Princess." He said as she slowly set her down and went to open the door, but Serena stopped him; placing her hands on his wrist as he went to twist the handle so to open the door. What am I doing?! Serena thought to herself, but no matter how much her thoughts told her to stop, her heart was another matter altogether. You are a stupid, stupid girl! She thought to herself, but strangely enough she was okay with that.

Serena took in a slow breath and closed her eyes and said, "Wait." Her eyes casted down, not daring to look him in the eye. Endymion felt his body tense as his gaze turned downward to where her hands sat atop his wrist; not really knowing how to feel in that exact moment. He took in deep breath and then released it, feeling his body slowly relax once again.

"Why, what's wrong...?" He asked. Serena felt her cheeks heat up and she cleared her throat and pulled her hands from his wrist and let her hands hang at her sides. She then took a step back, taking in a steady breath and turned her face upward so to look him in the eye.

"I'm sorry," She said her face still red and hot, but she ignored it as best as she could. "I did that without thinking. Just the thought of being by myself..." She dared not finish her sentence; afraid that he would take it the wrong way and think she wanted to spend more time with him. Endymion was surprised to hear that coming from the Princess, pleasantly surprised in fact. Endymion felt a smirk tug at his lips and he step forward and before either of them knew it Endymion had Serena pressed against the wall; hands on either side of her of her head, trapping her.

"Well, all you had to do was ask me to stay..." He said as he tried to get his face passive, but was failing miserably. The corner of his lip twitched as he fought back a smile. Serena looked up at him with big wide eyes of surprise and her face completely red at the situation that she had put herself in. You just need to keep your damn mouth shut from now on...! She thought, scolding herself. Serena licked her suddenly dry lips, which might have been a bad move on her part. Endymion's eyes went from there usual blue color to black as he watched her tongue move over her lips; a small growl escaping past his lips. Serena body gave a surprised jolt and she stared up at him with wide eyes.

"I-I really think I should go in and rest..." She said, her voice high pitched and sounding somewhat scared. Endymion's eyes did not revert back to their color of blue, but stayed black for awhile longer.

"Yes, I think you should..." He said as he closed his eyes and slowly lowered his head down, his lips now only a few inches away from her own. Serena let out a small nervous squeak and she pushed her hands against his chest. Endymion stopped, opening his eyes to see a set of frightened blue eyes staring into his own. Endymion's mouth formed a hard line and he slowly stepped away from the Princess, hands dropping back down to his sides.

"Go inside and rest," He said and then turned and started to walk down the hall, in the opposite direction that they had come from, to the front of the manor. "I will tell Annabel and Edward not to disturb you..." He said and then in a flash of movement was gone. A few seconds would pass before Serena could breath again; her knees giving out and she slid down the wall and landed on the floor, her gown pooling around her. What was that...? She wondered to herself as her mind raced in all different directions. He...he was going to kiss me. She thought to herself and then slapped her hands to her face as her mind stuck at a thought of how the kiss would have been if she hadn't stopped him. Oh my goddess I have got to get out of here! She thought to herself, thinking that she needed to first go into her room, but her strength hadn't returned yet and it wouldn't return for quite sometime...
