Tino accepted Matthias' hand and introduced himself. "So, what's a small boy like you doing out here in the woods this late?" Matthias asked. He sat down and laid his axe over his lap. "Well, I'm looking for my father. He went missing yesterday." Tino sat down as well, looking around nervously as he spoke. "I'm sorry to hear that…but maybe I could help you. What did he look like?" The taller man looked at Tino, as if studying his features. Tino sighed. "Well, he was wearing a blue cloak and old brown boots. He was riding a brown horse pulling a cart with a big machine on it. He has blonde hair…kinda like mine, and greenish-blue eyes." Matthias seemed a little taken back by Tino's description. "Really? Wow, I just saw a guy like that. Um…I know where he is, but you cannot come with me. I will go get him, and bring him back ok?" He smiled and started to arise. "Wait! It's great that you found my father, but…why can't I go with you?" Tino smiled and stood as well. "Well, umm…you just can't …trust me." Matthias scratched the back of his head nervously. Tino put on a stern look and looked the taller in the eye. "Look you, I don't know who you are, or why you're out here, but if you're going to get my father, I'm coming with you!" Matthias was a bit startled at Tino's persistence and realized there was no use in arguing with this one. He sighed and shrugged. "Fine…just follow me." Tino smiled and walked closely behind his guide.

They walked for an hour or so, chatting a little along the way, discussing their heritages and stuff, and they realized that Tino was Finnish, and Matthias was Danish. Soon they came upon a clearing surrounded by oak trees, with small hills here and there. "Well… here we are…" Tino looked around a bit confused. Matthias laughed. "Over here!" He pointed to a small cave. "My father's in there?" Tino looked like he was about to explode with happiness, and he started to run into the cave. The Dane reached out and grabbed the small blonde's shoulder. "Whoa there, little guy, wait up. Let me go first." Tino looked confused, but moved aside letting the taller though.

The cave was creepy and made Tino a bit claustrophobic. Vines grew on the walls, and there were cobwebs everywhere. Matthias talked on and on, and eventually left Tino a bit behind. Although he didn't mind being alone, Tino felt although he needed a guide, even in a small cave. As he walked past the rocky walls of the small dungeon, Tino noticed a few cave drawings on the walls. "What in the world…?" He stopped and gently blew on the wall to remove any dirt that was hiding the full image. The first picture, well faded, depicted a beautiful castle, on a small hill, surrounded by snow and tall evergreen trees. Next to that drawing, another one showed an ugly witch, holding a rose at the palace gates. Tino ran his hand along the old faded drawings. There was a man at the gate, and he looked as though he was denying the witch of something. In the next picture, the witch was a beautiful woman, and the man was bowing before her. In the last picture, the man was a monster, and all that was left of the woman was a small rose, in a glass case. The monster held the case, and seemed to look right into the Finn's eyes.

Tino squeaked, and stared at the walls. He seemed to not be able to take his eyes off the monster's. What was that? Are those footsteps?! Who's out to get me?! Tino stared at the wall, and backed up into the opposite. He heard a howling in the distance, a lonely, grueling howl that shook him down to his bones. Tino's eyes grew wide, and it seemed as though the monster in the painting was howling at him. Was it getting closer? What was that? Tino opened his mouth, but could not speak. He listened, but could only hear the lonely howls of the monster. He tried to remove his gaze from the hideous beast, but could not. Everything started to spin, and go black, Tino finally urged a great cry from his throat, and the walls seemed to close in. "MATTHIAS!"

I am so evil….
