Delmar could feel something light trailing around his face seeming to focus around his nose. Nudging it away with his hand he returned his hand back to where it was originally. Feeling something soft he opened his eyes to glance; his eyes met blue strands of hair and a soft girl beside him. Closing his eyes he rested until it hit him... a girl. "Ah!" Releasing the girl he fell off the couch with a thud successfully waking his companion.

Glancing around she found him nursing a growing lump on his head and her friends bursting with laughter. "Delmar!" She rushed to his side checking his injury. Leaving the room she soon returned with a bag of ice that she placed on the lump.

"Thanks." Holding the bag in place he looked at her friends. "Was that really necessary?"

"No, but it was fun!" Mina told him, a mischievous look on her face, hearing a cry they looked over to see Serena had glomped Amy.

"I was so scared! You're all right, right?"

"Serena I'm fine, Delmar protected me... but why?" They looked at Delmar as he got up.

"Isn't it obvious? I thought that the people here only give rings to those that they love." At the mention Amy could have sworn the ring grew a bit colder to remind her of its presence. Amy's face turned red as she remembered the kisses they shared in the heat of battle.

The rest of the month went on smoothly; they graduated from high school. Amy of course received a college scholarship, and Darien even proposed to Serena. Of course, you have to forget that nearly every night they were being forced to fight off hordes and hordes of monsters. How she manages to make them at this rate Delmar has no idea; but it is something he has to figure out...

"I think this is the last of them..." Jupiter panted as she struggled to stand, Bryan trying his best to help her.

"For now." Delmar finished as he looked around the scene; all the buildings around here were destroyed by the creatures... the sailors weren't fairing much better, their once bright and shining eyes were becoming dull from their constant battles... A pang seemed to grow in his chest at the pain he had caused them.

"You guys better get home..." Delmar told them looking over the battlefield. Mutely the girls left unaware of the glares their male partners were giving Delmar. When they left Delmar muttered "Don't worry... I'll end it soon..."

"Guys! Have you seen Delmar?" Amy asked her friends when they met up at the Crown.

"Sorry we haven't." Raye told her, taking a sip of her tea. Hearing a ring from the doorway they were bombarded with an arctic wind.

"Brrr..." Serena shivered in her jacket.

"Last time I checked fall doesn't turn into winter so suddenly..." Mina told her friends as she clung to Serena. The group looked at each other with a look that said the same thing 'the enemy'. Rushing outside they couldn't sense any monsters nearby but could definitely feel the chilling cold. Shivering Amy brought out her Mercury computer.

Opening the computer she was surprised to see a flashing icon. Clicking open she was surprised to find Delmar sitting near the ocean. "Hey Mercury..." he smiled at her, "I'm sorry for stealing your computer. I love you Mercury, remember that." His face grew serious, "I have found the ideal spot where the winds will spread my chill throughout the world. The drop in temperature will freeze the monsters into icicles, making them easier to destroy. Don't worry, the human species is very adaptable from my observations. They've already survived numerous ice ages. I love you..." Coming closer he turned off the camera.

"Delmar..." Feeling the cold chill run down her spine she looked towards the ocean in the distance.

"What did he do!?" Bryan asked his eyes guarded as he clutched Lita close; anger evident in his eyes.

"He's freezing the Earth..." Mercury whispered.

"I knew we shouldn't trust that no good..." Osamu began to rage and rant in what they assumed to be, Leonian.

"Isn't that kind of impossible?" Raye asked as Amy began to type furiously on her computer.

"No, if he freezes the right spot and the right size of the ocean he'll cool down the Earth greatly to the point of actual freezing temperature range."

"We have to stop him!" Serena exclaimed. Nodding they raced off towards the ocean.

The freezing winds grew even more brutal the closer they came to the beach. Skidding to a halt they could see an immense iceberg that was growing in size by the minute, already ice had formed and spread over the water. Crowds had fled to the mainland for safety so the area was silent.

Racing across the mirror like ground they leapt for the iceberg; landing they looked around to find no one in sight. "What? Where is he?" Jupiter asked glancing around.

Stepping forward, a ledge broke under Moon's boot. Screaming she fell.

"SERENA?!" They yelled jumping after her. Rubbing their heads they found Moon looking down into the ice. Following her gaze they were surprised to find Delmar at the heart of the iceberg.

His silver hair was frozen in place; his face was calm and relaxed as if he was just taking a nap on a sunny afternoon instead of in the middle of a tundra.

He was too deep in for their attacks to reach him or to melt the ice, even after they were at it for hours. Turning back the way they came, they found they were frozen in.

Immediately Mars leapt into action, FLAME SNIPER! Letting it free the ice melted an entrance barely big enough for them to fit through one at a time. Scurrying through the hole they glanced up into the frigid sky.

"So what now?" Jupiter asked. This was strange for our scouts; it was the first time in their careers to have failed Earth as its protectors. Now the Earth was going to freeze and for how long...

"We're going after the Countess." A surprisingly confident voice told them. Turning towards the voice they were surprised to find it was Moon. Her eyes gleamed determinedly in the moonlight.

"Curse it! Curse it!" She screeched pacing the chamber. Sparks dancing from her fingers, although, they did nothing when they landed on the ground now turned to ice at her irritation. When the sparks did hit one of the sparse puddles of water it transformed the liquid into monsters... but they quickly turned into ice due to the dropping temperature.

Hearing the clatter of shoes she growled to herself, "This better be some good news." Turning she found a group of girls in skin tight sailor fuku's . "You've got to be kidding me..."

The fight was over quickly; turns out that the Countess was quite powerless without her creations. However, they were stuck with the weather that had weakened their foe in the first place.

500 years later

The planet has thawed freeing its frozen captives... all of its captives...

A figure walked onto the beach from the ocean, every inch shivering and dripping from the water it just left. "Delmar..." Looking up at the mention of his name he found a sailor senshi watching higher up on the beach.

"Amy..." Dashing to her he pulled her into a rib crushing hug that only a sailor could survive. He only let go to kiss every inch of her face. "Amy..."

"Delmar." She giggled holding onto him. Stopping he looked into her eyes to see years of wisdom. That only a sailor could gain.

"Amy... I'm so sorry." He groaned hanging his head. He had seen every pain she had gone through at his expense when he froze her world. Dragging his face up to face her she gave him a kiss that communicated her forgiveness. Tears ran down his face as he joined her...
