Love Not Lost
"Listen here," Kuroi said. The rain hadn't stopped falling yet. It was still pouring out of the dull grey sky. "I won't tell anyone."
Kokoa nodded her head, not finding the will to speak. They were both drenched but neither shivering. There had been silence the whole trip back but now, with the end of the forest in sight Kuroi spoke.
"However let me give you a fair bit of warning." She sounded disinterested and almost bothered. Her body gestures suggested the same, back turned to Kokoa and walking at a brisk hurried pace. "Don't confess. Ever. In fact it would be better if you completely forgot about your feelings. They will never bear fruits of joy, only sow seeds of dismay."
She nodded dumbly. Of course I know that. Of course I do...But...
"I'm sure you've probably told yourself this a million times but it's not going to happen. Sex, blood. Those are two facts that can never change."
I know...
"And you should already know your feelings will never be returned." Kokoa opened her mouth wanting to protest...but could not muster the will to speak. "I'm sure to you these feelings came naturally. She was always there, protecting you, helping you. A figure in your life to strive for, a goal to meet. If so she fulfilled her role."
Their pace had been slowing and now they'd finally come to a standstill. A mere few metres from the edge.
"Maybe a little too well. You will only ever be her little sister. No matter how close you think you are that's all she'll ever see you as. And by the looks of it you two aren't even that close in the first place."
All this felt like a slap. She already knew all this.
"You probably think I'm being an ass saying all of this and so what if I am. Someone needs to wake you up. I don't think you're gross or weird or anything. I'm trying to help."
Kokoa could almost have laughed at that.
"If you confess...your relationship will never be the same again. No matter how hard you try that knowledge will always be the foremost thought in both of your minds. And when you're rejected nothing can ever mend the gap. Just remember." Finished, Kuroi crossed the final few metres out of the forest. Like a lamb Kokoa followed. "Go bathe."
Not looking once at Kokoa Kuroi leapt away and out of her sight. Ruby came rushing down from her cabin eager to know how she was. Visibly there were no wounds to show and that was enough to calm Ruby down. "Thank goodness. Mari brought Mizore back collapsed and Kurumu didn't look much better when she arrived." Ruby's brow was furrowed in worry, but with Kokoa back a large weight seemed to be lifted off her shoulders.
Dismissing Ruby's worries Kokoa walked into her cabin asking for some rest. Once inside Kokoa realised how wet she was, if she kept still in one place for even a few seconds a noticeable puddle formed beneath her. Thus she stripped to her underwear and lay her clothes in a neat bundle near the fire. Then following Kuroi's instructions she entered the bathroom and ran a bath for herself, depositing a tablet while she waited.
The water was warm and heated her chilled bones. Kou-chan dived into the bath with a splash. She sunk deep into the bath, letting the warm water cover her pale skin. "Who was Kuroi thinking she knows everything?!" Kokoa shouted at Kou-chan. "She doesn't seem like some love expert! Not grossed out? Yeah right she didn't even look at me once!"
Kou-chan remained unperturbed at her outburst and remained blissfully floating on his back. "Idiot. Telling me thing I already know. How does she know Moka won't love me back!?" She knows as well as I know. Today was a prime example. She loves... Her thoughts turned towards a Moka and Tsukune alone in the woods. No No!
"No!" Kokoa shouted bringing her fist slamming down into the water. Frightened, Kou-chan speedily flew out of the bath seeking shelter. "NO! NO! NO!" With every repetition of the word her fist came slamming down into the bath. She wished she could smash so many things, Tsukune's face, Kuroi's face and these boundaries.
Spent Kokoa calmed herself down and laid her head against the bath edge. Like moths to a flame her thoughts returned to Moka. Moka was always on her mind. She slid a hand to cup her small breast. Maybe if they were bigger like Kurumu's. Catching a glimpse of her burgundy hair other hand brushed through it. Maybe if it was straight and black like Ruby's. She turned and caught a distorted reflection of herself in the far mirror. Maybe if my face was dollish like Mizore's. Kokoa continued to find a fault and flaw with herself. Wishing she were more beautiful, wishing she could carve herself into her desired likeness like stone.
At the end of her self-examination her hand came to rest on her biggest flaw. There was a mute spark of sensation as Kokoa brushed her fingers along her sex. Maybe if it were a man's. Head filled with maybes and self pity she brought another hand back to her scarce chest, massaging the flesh cooing with satisfaction.
An image of Moka, red dress ripped off, nakedness bare and crimson eyes hungry with desire popped into her mind. Hesitantly Kokoa began to rub her womanhood, gasping at its temperature and rising ache. The picture of Mari in Kora's lap appeared again and again they were swapped with Moka and her. Both naked. Moka's teeth nibbling on Kokoa's ear, her hand at Kokoa's core.
"Ah," Her lusty sighs began to echo around the room. The water rippled at her movements, her hand grasped around her small breast squeezing it. Her other fingers were circling over her entrance. Slowly increasing the pressure Kokoa began to move her hips, keeping tempo.
Her imagination went wild, Moka had her pinned down. Her head was between Kokoa's thighs, she was making the most erotic noises. Responding to the steamy image Kokoa increased her tempo and began to rub herself more violently. Next Moka had her bent over, whispering seductively in Kokoa's ears as her fingers played with her dripping core.
"Onee-sama..." Kokoa moaned, lost in her fantasies. Her fingers found her erect nub and with a stinging hiss she began to play with it. "That's it Moka!"
Alone and within her imagination was where Kokoa could find solace. It was here she could replay her dreams, create fantasies and live out her desires. Yes, here Moka could do whatever she wished. Here Moka would tell Kokoa how she loved her, Moka would hold her as tightly as she desired, Moka would always be with her, Moka would grant her the pleasure she so desperately wanted, the affection she so dreadfully wished for.
The two Moka's had her sandwiched, bodies pressed into Kokoa's. Each held them in their powerful arms. Each nibbled on an ear, shaking her will. Each left iron hot kisses on her skin, each teasingly fiddled with her rosy nipples. Both had her wriggling rapturously in pleasure. Each treated her core with the same divine adulation.
Moka! She thrust herself underwater as the release hit her, screaming her self-brought satisfaction into its noise softening depths. Her mind reeled as her whole body spasmed, throbbing pulses of powerful pleasure locking her body in a pleasure-filled ball. The orgasm left her heavy of breath and lacking energy.
Not giving in to the afterglow Kokoa exited the bath, she dried herself off and changed into a pair of silk bat-patterned boxers, quickly accompanied by a slightly too large T-shirt. Finally giving in to the self-hate she collapsed onto the bed. This wasn't the first time Kokoa had used Moka in such a way, the dreams made sure of that... But with every time she used Moka for her satisfaction a sense of loathing aimed at herself always followed. Yet she never failed to do it again.
I'm weak willed. Kokoa thought burying her face into a pillow. I always do that with Moka in mind even though I said I'd try to stop feeling that way for her. Moka still hadn't come back, or maybe she had but didn't come to see Kokoa. Both were likely possibilities. At least she's safe. Kokoa reckoned. Onee-sama is strong. And loathe as she may be to admit it so was Tsukune. And she knew, just like her, Tsukune would protect Moka with his life.
"Dont' confess. Ever. If you confess... your relationship will never be the same again."
As if I could ever work up the courage to confess. Kokoa mused. Not feeling the urge to get up nor the need to go finding Moka Kokoa lay in bed waiting for sleep. Tsukune and Moka can do what they want, it's not like I could stop them. Yet the image of Tsukune and Moka together brought an unavoidable pang to her heart.
Tired from the early morning, the exciting midday, the stressful dusk and the calming effects of release it was not long before sleep claimed her. Her sleep was calm, untroubled with dreams. There was the weight of a presence above her at some point and Kokoa began to stir. Her eyes blinked open and she glimpsed a sight of glossy silver.
"Shh." A voice whispered into her ear, soothingly sweet. "You're dreaming." It whispered again. She felt the weight on her increase...or did it? Eyelids heavy with sleep they slowly began to close again, but not before she caught the flicker of crimson. Ghostly tendrils began to stroke her hair, gentle and calming. "Sleep Kokoa."
"Onee..." Kokoa mumbled, voice slurred with sleep. She was warm, cared-for and safe. She felt peaceful. The ethereal tendrils continued in their motion, lulling Kokoa into a world of slumber.
"Are you sleeping Kokoa?" The voice asked, voice low and breath an inch from her skin. She couldn't respond. Wouldn't. "You owe your big sister something, Kokoa." Sister? Her sleep-addled mind questioned. Moka. Kokoa calmed down further, her consciousness slipping from her fingers. "Do you know what that is?" There was the faintest feel of lips on Kokoa's neck. "You had some of mine not so long ago."
Kokoa was too tired to think so she slept. Slept in the comfort of Moka's arms. "You seemed to enjoy it." Something wet and hot dipped onto her neck by the spot she had felt the kiss. "You looked like you'd gone to heaven." Heaven... "I'm so thirsty. Your smell is driving me crazy." The wisps had left her hair and found her chin. Softly they pushed Kokoa's head further back, exposing her pale and delicate neck
"Beautiful..." Everything was so tenderly performed. Every word so melodiously pretty Kokoa felt her limbs grow heavy, like her blood had been replaced with lead. Her should be sharp thoughts reduced to a sluggish pace. She was so utterly vulnerable. But so completely safe.
With a hand by her chin, another settled by the beginnings of her chest the lips descended. Marking the skin. Then with savage caution open mouth clamped down on fair skin, pointed teeth penetrating throat.
She felt a burn by her throat and the strange sensation of pricking teeth. Kokoa's breath was heavy and her limbs numbed even further. She felt the queer sensation of her blood being drunk. A fiery pain that was numbingly cool. Blood rushed to the twin pair of openings created by Vampire's bite readily pouring into the creatures waiting mouth.
Kokoa's power was being sapped from her yet she was not afraid, strangely a feeling of bliss overcame her. Heaven. Her consciousness was slowly fading away and her heartbeat was slowing. Before the darkness claimed her Kokoa felt the mouth wrapped around her leave. Languidly a tongue lapped at the few beads of blood that continued to flow from the incision.
With the darkness pressing down imminently on Kokoa she felt one last time the tendrils stroke her forehead and the sensation of a pair of warm bloodied lips, leaving her with a tender kiss.
"Goodnight."
...
When Mizore opened her eyes the world span and dimmed reducing her sight to tunnels, her head was pounding as if drums were being played with her brain as the kit. When she opened her mouth to yawn she felt the lollipop in it lop over to the other side, she gave it an enthusiastic suck seeking the cool that came with it.
She blinked a few times until the pounding in her head grew bearable and her vision was clear. Then she noticed her companion. Her smell Mizore had noted first, a smell of warm toffee and strawberries, a smell so sickeningly sweet it made her heart race. Next she noticed the weight, Kurumu was laying her head resting on Mizore's arm as she clung tightly to it, like a baby to its teddy.
Kurumu's warmth was different from others, as a Snow Woman Mizore looked for cold where others looked for heat. But in Kurumu the heat she released was welcomed with open hands. For lack of better words, it resonated with her. The contrasting temperatures of the bright and warm Kurumu and the stoically cool her blended together as well as hot chocolate sauce on ice-cream.
Unconsciously – or perhaps not – she snuggled closer towards the lightly dozing Succubus. Her head was still pounding and her leg was throbbing painfully, a searing kyryptonic heat resonated from the throb and sapped her of energy. Sluggishly Mizore's eyes travelled over Kurumu, Mizore often thought Kurumu fit the description of Succubus quite well. In figure, face and alluring sexiness.
Inspecting said face Mizore noticed that Kurumu's eyes were ringed red, her cheeks similarly coloured were moist with evident tear-stained trails. She's been crying. Mizore thought and immediately brought a cool finger to wipe away the moisture underneath Kurumu's eyes. "Did she cry herself to sleep?"
"Yes."Her heart jumped at the response to her whispered question. Mizore quickly spotted Mari at the foot of the bed sitting with her legs crossed. "S-Sorry for scaring you," Mari stuttered out, her fuzzy head was in a dishevelled sleepy mess. "It's good to see that you're alive and awake."
"What happened?" Mizore's asked vaguely, the last thing she could remember was the fighting, then an unclear dream of flying.
"You passed out, it was my fault. The salve I'd given you to treat the wound on your leg heats up the body, the wound was quite deep so some of the salve seemed to have seeped into you, causing your whole body to rise rapidly in temperature. G-Generally it's not much of a problem but you're a Snow Woman and I-I forgot so you c-collapsed because y-your body was too h-hot and i-it was m-my f-fault a-a-a-nd―"
"Mari." Mizore said quickly trying to end Mari's guilt ridden apology. She'd started off confidently but soon her stuttering got the better of her.
"S-so t-then I carried you b-back a-and d-didn't know what t-to do a-and no-one e-e-else was b-back y-yet but t-then―"
"Mari!"
"Y-Yes!"
"Calm down, I'm fine. So you don't have to apologize." She must have sounded quite forgiving Mizore mused. But truthfully Mari's apology and stuttering was getting to her, worsening her headache and her mood. Though when Mizore thought back she felt she knew the injury was her fault, Mari had saved her and Mari had treated her wounds. Mizore had no right to be angry at the small Panda.
"Right, sorry." Mari bowed down with her tiny legs accentuating the none-deserved apology.
"So, what happened?" She asked turning to look at the subject of her question.
"I'm not sure," Mari admitted with a shake of her head. "When I got back only Aki and the Witches were here but suddenly she b-barged in crying and asked me what happened. S-So I told her then she gave you the lollipop. Then she just burst into more tears and I-I d-didn't know w-what was wrong a-and so i-I tried to m-make her s-s-top and n-nothing w-worked s-s-so th-the―
"It's alright Mari, I get it."
"S-Sorry."
"What's the time?" Mizore asked craning her head to look at the window.
"I think it's just after m-midnight."
"Is everyone alright?"
"Yes, they got back later but you were in the worst condition. Everyone was worried b-but I thought it best to not let them see y-you and Kurumu so..."
"Why don't you go sleep?" Mizore offered, it was obvious Mari had already had a little sleep of her own yet it was always much more comfortable to sleep in one's own bed. "I'm better now, mostly. I'll take care of Kurumu so you don't have to watch over us anymore."
"W-Well I suppose you're right." Mari got up on rested and unsure feet, head probably still fuzzy with sleep.
"Thanks." Mizore said as Mari was about to exit the homely cottage. Mari turned and offered the best smile she could before departing into the dark night. Alone Mizore looked over Kurumu again and tried to collect her thoughts.
The heat in her leg was still a bother but once Mizore had grabbed a new lollipop and began to think it was pushed to the back of her mind. It was strange to recall the events of a day past and have them feel as if they happened weeks ago. Then her thoughts turned to the forefront of her concerns Kurumu. Tsukune and Moka alone in the woods, Kurumu returning with tears in her eyes. It wasn't hard to piece the puzzle together.
"Kurumu," She whispered while reaching out a hand to grasp Kurumu's own. She hated herself, just a little bit for her own stupidity. For her own uselessness. When Kurumu needed her she had become just another worry. She took solace in the fact that Kurumu was still here, breathing, still warm and still smelling as sweet as candy.
"Hey," She said lowly leaning nearer towards Kurumu. What had she seen? How heartbroken was she? If only she could peer into Kurumu's mind, to be able to tell just what was on her mind? Even now after almost three years together Mizore was as clueless to Kurumu's thoughts as when they'd first met. For Kurumu despite her bubbly demeanour was deceptively skilled at hiding her true feelings.
Mizore noticed Kurumu stirring and brought herself away from her. She increased the distance between them, close enough to be of comfort yet still so distanced as to not brush each other. Opening her heavy eye lids Kurumu gazed with dull pained eyes at her duet partner. "Mizore..." She said. Rubbing the sleep from her eyes she brought herself up to rest in a similar sitting position as Mizore.
"Kurumu," Was her reply. What to say? Mizore thought while pulling her eyes away from waking Kurumu. It's alright? Ask her what happened? Nothing? During her inner musings Kurumu dragged herself next to Mizore and rested her head on the Snow Woman's shoulder. Was it the skill of a Succubus to make even this small act sultry and seductive? To set another's heart racing so unintentionally?
"You're awake, I'm so relieved." Kurumu breathed out heavily, voice heavy and strained. "What's the matter?" She asked with wide innocent looking eyes so different from the devilish position of her body. A slick sheen of sweat coated her doll-like skin, her clothes stuck to her shapely figure like spandex and the valley of her ample breasts was an aching tease begging for her perusal. "Hey, what happened?"
"That's my line. You look like a mess, more so than usual. What's wrong?" I'm being selfish satisfying my own curiosity over Kurumu's.
"I'm worried about you too you know?" Kurumu said in a high whiny voice throwing one leg on top of Mizore.
"I'm okay now. I can't say the same for you though."
"I was just worried about you."
"Mari said you were crying before you saw me," Kurumu bit her lip and sighed, glancing away towards her feet. She whispered something inaudible underneath her breath. "What?"
"It doesn't really matter, "She spoke up louder this time brushing her hand over a cut present on Mizore's cheek. The lie in her eyes was so expertly hid if Mizore almost missed it. "How'd you get this?"
"Looking for you," Mizore responded curtly pushing away Kurumu's hand trying to ignore the tingling feeling it left on her skin. She got up from the bed sliding herself away from Kurumu, "You can't run off like that what were you thinking? No, you weren't thinking." Her tone was sharper than she intended and she could see them cut into Kurumu.
"I was worried about Tsukune okay!" Kurumu defended rage colouring her amethyst eyes.
"And I was worried about you! You didn't have to go looking for him. Tsukune and Moka were with each other, I don't think anything could have endangered those two." I'm being unfair now, even if I knew Kurumu was in no real danger I'd still...and yet that's not the real reason she went looking for him. I know it and she knows it.
"I was worried anyway okay! Even if he wasn't in any real danger I'd still wanted to be there! I'd still want to be there next to him! Together!" Kurumu was standing too now, fists clenched and eyes red. "Don't you feel that way sometimes as well? Even though you don't really have a reason you just want to be next to him, to be with him, to be...close." Her voice choked on the last word.
"Yes." But with her. "And I know how painful it is to see them spend time with someone else, to know that there's always someone else on their mind, to know that you can't have them. I know." That was the cold truth about this love game, no matter the outcome there will always be two losers. In fact she knew that they'd already lost, it was obvious. But only delusions could keep Kurumu smiling bright and here...but maybe. Her leg was continuously sapping energy out of her, feeling drained Mizore motioned towards one of the fur covered arm chairs, flopping down into one.
"How do you deal with it?" She heard Kurumu whisper, halfway across the room. "I-If you can't get Tsukune to love you won't you be married off? You need to have children as soon as possible and...and..."
"Well of course I don't want that to happen!" Mizore spoke sharply. "All I want is to stay here," With you. "But life's not a fairy tale. So I'll enjoy my time now, I'll take as much happiness from now, so much happiness that I can live the rest of my life with it. That's how I deal with it."
"But..." Kurumu's voice was a husk, her tears had already started to fall once again. This wasn't how it was supposed to happen she was supposed to comfort Kurumu, to be there for her. Though she wasn't accomplishing much other than getting angry. That was when Kurumu quietly made her way across the room to where Mizore was sitting, a question in her eyes which Mizore answered wordlessly. Carefully with dithering slowness she draped herself around Mizore, burying her head in the nape of Mizore's neck.
"What did you see?" Mizore asked clothing Kurumu within her arms, returning to the root of the problem. So expertly, so naturally and so thoughtlessly had Kurumu sexily wrapped herself around Mizore, scent so pungent, breasts so bountifully exposed. That comfortably strange exhilarating warmth ran throughout her body.
"He was kissing her." Names were not needed to know who she was talking about. Who else could it be? In response she held Kurumu tighter. "You're not surprised? Figures you're a lot more honest than I am. You've probably already realised we've lost. It definitely sounded like you've given up."Mizore remained silent, no words of hers coming to mind. She could hear how lost Kurumu was, could feel the clammy heat of her tears. "You say I need to take as much happiness as I can now, but I can't find any Mizore, I can't...he's so in love with her it's hopeless!"
"Don't be an idiot." The stinging pain of Kurumu's nails digging into her was numbed by the hurt in her chest. That crushing, suffocating hurt. So in love it's hopeless huh? Ha. "If you keep talking like this, keep on thinking like this you'll kill yourself."
"It might be better that way."
"Now you've gone too far," Mizore said voice lacking all sympathy. "You can't decide something like that so selfishly. People will miss you. I'll miss you!" She pulled Kurumu away from her to look her in the eyes, those eyes moist with tears she wanted to cure. "It's just a kiss right? You told me that too, you saved me." Perhaps it was the enchanted kiss of a Succubus that first caused these feelings to blossom. No, this love is not the result of magic. It is not synthetic. It was as real as the sun, as warm as the day, as strong as a mountain and as sweet as her love's lips.
Softly Kurumu's fingers trailed over the scratch once again, sending sparks flying. There was guilt in her eyes, but for what Mizore couldn't figure out. "Just a kiss." She mimicked, voice gentle and fragile.
"Yeah." Kurumu's bangs slightly obstructed her face, yet she could see the glint of Kurumu's endless tears. "Just..." Turning her head up she wafted in Kurumu's sugary scent. She bit her lollipop crushing it between her teeth and discarding the stick. "A kiss..." For eternal moments she remained gazing in Kurumu's absorbing eyes, before creeping closer and closer. To claim Kurumu's lips.
The tenderness of her lips was captivating, before she could even count to three their tongues were playing. Kurumu's saliva was intoxicating, her warmth so welcoming. Their skilled tongues bent and contorted as the two of them melted ever deeper into the embrace. Mizore kept her eyes open always staring straight at Kurumu's who responded likewise. Though Kurumu's were half closed, heavily lidded and so, so unexplainably seductive.
Her hands moved of their own volition, burying their fingers into Kurumu's sapphire tresses and pulling her closer. Mizore's tongue was cool and minty fresh, the contrast with Kurumu's own hot sugar covered one drove her crazy. Kurumu cupped her hands over Mizore's head and forced her into the chair. The ferocity of her wild kisses igniting primal instincts within Mizore.
Take all the happiness you can. I will. She would prolong this and use the source of her desire to take as much as she could. Mizore twisted her head giving Kurumu easier access, Kurumu didn't waste a moment to further plunge into Mizore's mouth and ravage the insides.
Mizore would take as much happiness as she needed from this embrace and maybe then this selfish desire she had would evolve into a selfless love. Then Mizore could help Kurumu to win Tsukune's heart and live the rest of her life knowing that at least, Kurumu was happy.
And so she kissed her love, over and over. Each kiss breaking her apart yet bringing her together again like glue. Oh the passion was galactic, the fire so scalding she feared she would melt. A pop and Kurumu too had lost it, her leathery black wings unfurled and her pointed tail twisted and slithered, chopping the air.
It was Mizore who first broke apart from the kiss, fearing she would soon lose control of herself. Their pants and gasps reverberated throughout the chill midnight air. Kurumu did not rest long before sweeping in to re-ignite the kiss, again Mizore broke apart, her mind slowly slipping away. "Stop." She panted out, voice heavy with lusty strain.
"Come on, let's continue." Kurumu's cheeks were afire, her hair wildly tame. "Don't you want to?"
Yes, a thousand times yes. Kurumu was so perfectly erotic, innocent yet delightfully carnal, wholly giving yet playfully teasing. Her voice had dropped two tones, becoming a husky innate rumble. Kurumu's finger began to circle Mizore's collarbone. "Kurumu..." Next Kurumu began trailing sweet soft kisses down Mizore's neck...to her throat...ever so steadily moving further below. "We should stop." How she managed to utter those words would forever remain a mystery to her.
"Why?" Was her curt reply. Deftly the Succubus' fingers pulled the hem of her shirt, exposing Mizore's cleavage. "You're obviously enjoying this, you're shaking." She kissed the middle of Mizore's chest, teasing her.
"D-Don't..." The words were felt like breathing lead. This was exactly what she wanted, her Angel to devour her. But at the same time she wanted something permanent, not this evident fling. She wanted to be the only one in Kurumu's mind. "What about Tsukune?" Like a deer in the headlights Kurumu froze. "Don't you want this to mean something? Don't you want to do this with the person you...love?"
"I love you." The Kurumu in her head told her, "Do you love me?" She asked, and Mizore giggled like it was the stupidest question in the world. "Of course." She would say, her smile so bright her face might tear apart. "I lo―"
"You're right..." Kurumu climbed off of her, falling onto the bed with an earth rumbling sigh. "Man that would've been awkward," She laughed. "Sorry if I freaked you out."
"Not at all." Mindlessly Mizore popped a lollipop in her mouth, pretending to suck on it nonchalantly. Love could sneak up on you. At the beginning of the year only Tsukune had been on her mind, but slowly certainly Kurumu crept up. Shoving Tsukune away and occupying the space he had once held. She couldn't even pinpoint a time when she fell out of love and straight back in. Out of the fire and into the frying pan.
"I've been devoted to winning over Tsukune's heart for two years why stop now!" She declared enthusiastically. Fist held raised in the air. "Ah man. You're right it was just a kiss, I've still got a chance. Sorry to say this Mizore but I'm taking you and Moka down!"
"Yeah yeah," This was a rejection right? She looked away out to the window, the moon was a sharp crescent, a mocking smile? Or a kindly frown? What was that fiery kiss then? Could only I feel the passion? Was it all just so natural to Kurumu?
"Thanks." Kurumu said with a deep yawn her head collapsing onto a fluffed pillow.
"Sure," Her leg was pulsating uncomfortably so she lay down on the bed, next to Kurumu. She shifted slightly closer. Well she was taking the rejection pretty well, Mizore supposed. She wasn't crying or anything.
"Goodni~~~ght!"
"Night." Mizore said, rolling over to face Kurumu. Looking at her hand,
Wanting to hold onto it for eternity.
...
Despite her saying no Aki came again, like a cat without a home. "Throw a dog a bone and they won't stop coming back hey. Or in your case a fox." Aki stood timidly in the doorway, her eyes darted back and forth almost like a trapped animal. Although she was trapping herself.
"Can I come in?" Her tail swished behind her frantically. Kuroi sighed, tired and not feeling up to disappointing the cheery fox. With a nonchalant wave of her hand she bid the fox to enter. Aki's almond eyes brightened and her ears stood to full attention. "Kora and Mari are back."
"I told you not to bother me."
"You looked upset."
"I am, that's why I told you not to bother me." She could see that her words had injured the fox, though she was too bothered to care.
"S-sorry...I wanted to help..." Aki said, ears pointing down like her eyes. She bit her lip and remained swaying to and fro. Kuroi paid her no mind and instead crossed her arms over her head and lay down. "What's the matter?" Aki finally asked.
"Nothing you can help with. That red-haired brat is just a real pain." She's reminding me of what I am. Of what I was.
"O-Okay then..." The silence dragged on. Kuroi wished that Aki would just catch the drift and leave already. But instead she remained standing there, with that stupid look in her eyes. Always trying to help. "I miss it when you used to watch the sunrise."
Kuroi pretended she hadn't heard Aki. That had been a lifetime ago. She had never looked at the sunrise again, not since that day. Else the memories would return.
"I-I miss it!" Aki said louder this time. "I miss it when you used to wake up early every morning just so you could watch the sunrise everyday! I miss it!" Kuroi grew annoyed. She had to shout it all out and give her a headache.
"So what?"
"Uh. Um." And that was where Kuroi always won. Aki got worked up a lot and she would say things without thinking. Therefore the moment you questioned her she'd turn mute. That was the easiest way to keep her mouth shut.
I miss those days too, but they're gone now. So grow up. "You're such a kid Aki, just saying you miss something won't bring it back. Grow up a bit."
"Ah, s-sorry." However Aki didn't leave like Kuroi had intended.
"Is there something else you want to complain about?"
"No... I-I have something for you." However as far as Kuroi could see Aki wasn't carrying anything.
"I don't see anything."
"Oh right! Sorry be back in a moment." Saying this she quickly left the room. Kuroi enjoyed the silence before too soon Aki re-entered the room. "H-Here." In the hand she offered Kuroi was a cupcake. "Mari and Kurumu helped me to make it." More like made it. Kuroi knew well the lack of culinary skills Aki possessed. Toast was about the only thing she didn't mess up on. Well it's the thought that counts.
Kuroi accepted the cupcake and inspected it once again. Definitely not Aki's work. The icing was too intricate and base too moist-looking for Aki to have ever made by herself. Atop the entire cupcake was one single strawberry. "Thanks."
"S-sorry there's only one it was the only good one I managed to make in the batch. But I'm improving so next time there'll be a ton more!" Aki declared enthusiastically her eyes lighting up in delight.
"I'm sure Mari will be able to spare more next time."
"What?" It took a few moments for Aki to get what was implied. "Hey I really did make that one! I swear!"
"Sure, sure." Kuroi said while shaking her head.
"Why don't you believe me?"
"It's not a matter of believing. It's a matter of knowing that you have never had or never will have the skills to make something like this."
"B-But I did make it!" Aki stomped her foot on the floor anger flaring in her eyes. "I made it I swear I did! You can go ask Mari yourself she'll tell you!"
"Well I'm sure I'll enjoy it equally the same whether Mari or you made it. Unless you're willing to say that this will taste better because of the love you poured into it."
"It will." Aki announced with a surprising amount of crimson on her face. "I-I made it just for you."
"Well then I need to reward you don't I?" Kuroi said plucking the strawberry off of the cupcake. She beckoned Aki closer. "Do you like strawberries Aki?"
"T-They're my favourite food. I've told you before." She took a step closer, she looked at Kuroi from the foot of her bed...waiting.
"Then I wasn't listening." Kuroi said. She patted the spot next to her, signalling where Aki must sit. "Here," She offered the strawberry to Aki. Who hesitantly picked it up and ate it. "Did you enjoy that?" Shyly, Aki nodded her head. "Then here's the reward you were really looking for."
With practiced ease she flipped Aki onto her back and lay looming above the foxy beauty. "Are we going to..." With a laugh Kuroi nibbled on Aki's earlobe.
"Would you like to Aki?" She asked this question every time, and in every case Aki's answer had always been the same.
"If you want to."
"I'm not really sure how I'm feeling, or what I want." They played the same game every time. Ever obedient Aki and fickle Kuroi. In their carnal bouts of pleasure Kuroi always had control. Truth be told she was bored. "What do you want to do Aki?"
Almond eyes averted she answered, "To make you happy." So bored. Every time it was the same back and forth. "Are you happy?"
"You already know the answer to that." Teasingly she bit into Aki's throat, leaving a small mark. "Say Aki," Kuroi reached for the cupcake. It was vanilla. "Do you want to kiss?" Shy as a maid she nodded. "Even if that would make me sad?"
The hurt in her eyes was easily noticed, "No..." The vanilla had traces of almonds in it. "I love you. You know I do."
"I do know." She took some icing onto her finger, decimating the immaculate swirl. Lazily she smoothed the icing over Aki's lips, turning them from rosy red to rich yellow. "You look delectable." Kuroi leaned over to press their lips together. The icing tasted of banana. She licked at the icing on Aki's lips devouring it all. Impatiently she thrust her tongue into Aki's mouth. Aki's eyes were open in that peculiar habit of hers. Not once had she ever closed her eyes during their kisses.
So boring. As per their established routine Kuroi began to strip the fox and herself, in seconds they were fully unclothed. Kuroi could appreciate just how splendid Aki was in these moments. When her face was flushed with lust, chest heaving and skin slick with sweat. Her supple figure a treat on the eyes. "You're quite splendid Aki."
"You're prettier." Was her staple reply.
"That depends on the judge." She scooped up more icing this time coating it over each of Aki's nipples. Deliberately she rolled her tongue over each nub, further exciting the fox while treating herself to banana flavoured icing served on a beauty.
"Ahn." Aki moaned at Kuroi's slow, teasing motions. Her other hand slid down the smooth curves of Aki's body straight to her most sensitive place. With a practiced flick she sent spears of fiery delight through Aki's body. "Yes..."
Deftly her trained fingers moved to enter Aki's slick entrance, immediately seeking out the places she knew to be weak. When she found one such spot she pressed down on it as she bit into a nipple. The double assault had Aki yelling and arching her back. She continued to attack Aki's sensitive spots watching as Aki writhed and squirmed. Senses alight in carnal glee.
"Ah Kuroi...Ahn!" For Kuroi there was no love in this act. Only satisfaction. Sweet bodily satisfaction. Made so much sweeter by Aki's desperate cries. She trailed her over one nipple, circling it and sucking then quickly moving onto the next. All as her fingers skilfully continued their task of stirring Aki's insides. "Hah...hah"
Her pants were so lusty and seductive Kuroi couldn't hold herself back. She brought herself to face level and dropped in to kiss Aki again, eyes wide and open Aki accepted the kiss. Oral stimulation always brought Aki to release quicker than normal. "Ah. Ha. Kuroi!" Aki wrapped her arms tight around Kuroi. Pushing their bodies to meld together. Her orgasm shook her body like a chill night, her insides clamped down on Kuroi's fingers like a vice and her screams were silenced by Kuroi's mouth. It was a normal procedure, all so terribly boring.
Once the orgasm had passed, Kuroi broke their kiss and stared at Aki's bliss ridden face. Waiting for that change, the realisation to sink in. It happened always, high on bliss anyone could become complete for even an instant. But the return trip was a harsh reality. She could see it in Aki's almond eyes. The truth sinking in again. That they had never truly made love, that her feelings were unrequited, that she could not stay like this, that soon she would need to leave. It was always the same tedious procedure.
Though a part of Kuroi liked seeing that in Aki's eyes. She liked to know that there was someone out there experiencing more pain than her. She couldn't imagine what it was like, to make love but never truly be loved. To have the one you love in front of you, but a thousand miles away. The stinging slap when in the throes of passion they call out a name that was not yours. Kuroi had done that before, the return trips those times had been especially harsh for Aki.
Yet Aki smiled. Every time Aki gave Kuroi a smile ripe and bittersweet. Kuroi knew she was weak, she was disgusting, she was horrible. Aki was experiencing the same pain as her but she never changed, she always smiled. Continued to laugh without change. Not once had she seen Aki cry and that's how she knew Aki was stronger than her. Way stronger than she could ever be.
"Thanks." She said that every time when they were finished. As if Kuroi was servicing her. So mind numbingly boring. The longing was tangible but Aki knew they could not lie together, she let go of Kuroi with an impish smile and began to slide away.
"Wait." That damned cupcake had been bothering her. "Vanilla? Almond? Banana? I'm convinced you made that cupcake. No-one else would ever pair those three up. That combination is disgusting."
Aki's face showed clear shock. "I-I'm sorry. I'll t-try something new next time."
"But," There was this really annoying feeling in her chest and her eyes were bugging her too. "Those three things are what I love most." And this was where her vision started to blur. "You knew?"
"Of course I know everything about you!" Aki told her with a stupid grin on her face. "I thought if I put your three favourite foods together it might taste really good but It seems I made a mistake."
"Use some common sense." Kuroi scolded Aki. Holding her in place. "Think a little."
"Hey, don't cry."
"I'm not crying."
Aki chuckled. "No you're not." She agreed even as her fingers brushed tears from Kuroi's eyes.
"Stay." Kuroi whispered almost inaudibly. There was the briefest sign of surprise on Aki's face before she nodded and wrapped her arms around Kuroi once again, pressing their bodies together.
"I'll always be with you."
...
A/N: Well all I have to say is this chapter was fun and contained quite a lot of action(wink). I kept the last scene short and scarcely detailed because I couldn't get in the groove with that specific atmosphere going on. So much...Boredom. Whereas with Kurumu and Mizore even though it goes against my plans I was so ready to have them rip each other's clothes off.
Till next time. (/®O®)/ ― 2Legit4You
